The capabilities and limitations of the conventional many-particle shell model and modern potential cluster models are discussed. New revaluated and more accurate calculations of one-nucleon spectroscopic characteristics of the light nuclei of 1p shell are presented. In many-particle shell model for nuclei with A = 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15 nucleon partial widths of highly excited states with the isotopic spin T = 3/2 were calculated both for “allowed” and “forbidden” transitions. One-nucleon spectroscopic factors were calculated in threebody multicluster models of 6Li{αnp}, 8Li{αtn}, and 9Be{ααn} nuclei. For isobar-analogue nuclei 7Li and 7Be, the spectroscopic proton S p and neutron S n factors for transitions to the ground and excited states of corresponding residue nuclei of the triplet 6Li-6He-6Be were calculated in the framework of binary potential αtand ατ models. Integral, differential and polarization characteristics of photonuclear processes 7Li(γ, n 0)6Li, 6He(p, γ0 + 1)7Li, 7Li(γ, p 0)6He, and 9Be(γ, p 0 + 1)8Li were calculated in this approach.  相似文献

Quasielastic triton knockout from 6Li and 7Li nuclei by negative pions with momenta p 0=0.72 and 0.88 GeV/c was studied in the region of backward pion-triton scattering. The experiment was performed at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP, Moscow) on a 3-m magnetic spectrometer equipped with spark chambers. The momentum distributions of the intranuclear quasitriton motion and the excitation-energy spectra of residual nuclei were obtained.  相似文献

The production of vector polarized recoil nuclei was investigated for nuclear reactions initiated by vector polarized6Li and7Li beams of energies up to 20 MeV. The vector polarization was detected by theβ-asymmetry of the decaying recoil nuclei implanted into various stopper materials. Considerable polarization values were observed for8Li produced in the systems7Li+9Be,7Li+7Li and6Li+7Li, and for12B in the systems7Li+7Li and6Li+11B. However, no polarization has been observed for heavier nuclei with unknown nuclear moments. The relaxation of the vector polarization of8Li implanted into various stopper materials at room temperature was investigated in detail. For a gold stopper it was found to be much larger when compared to earlier results.  相似文献

The results of theoretical and experimental investigations of delocalization of nuclear polarization in spatially disordered media are presented. The experiment is based on the measurement of a depolarization of β-active 8Li impurity nuclei (β-nuclei) in the spatially disordered subsystem of 8Li-6Li nuclei in LiF single crystals. The process is determined by the dipole-dipole interaction in this subsystem and by its dipole interactions with nuclei of the 7Li19F matrix. It is effective in a wide range of external magnetic fields H 0 = 200–3000 G owing to proximity of g-factors. The kinetics of a depolarization of β-nuclei at the 6Li concentration c = 0.15–10.06% in fields H 0 = 200 and 1210 G is investigated. A satisfactory explanation of the results is based on the numerical-analytical simulation of the process.  相似文献

Random walks in disorderedmedia are studied by considering the example of the delocalization of nuclear polarization in an ensemble of 8Li beta-active nuclei produced in (n, γ) reactions induced by polarized thermal neutrons in LiF single crystals. The process is initiated by magnetic dipole-dipole interactions. It consists in polarization transfer from a primarily polarized 8Li nucleus to the closest (stable) 6Li nuclei and in subsequent polarizationmigration over 6Li nuclei, the return of the polarization in question to the 8Li nucleus being possible. In order to obtain information about the polarization of 8Li nuclei, the asymmetry of beta radiation from them was measured with respect to the external magnetic field H 0. The process was studied until it reached the diffusion asymptotic regime. The concentration of 6Li was varied between 3% and 10%, while the field strength H 0 was changed from 200 to 1200 G. It is shown that microscopic theory is in satisfactory agreement with the experimental results obtained in the way outlined above. A comparison with the investigation of the mathematically allied process of the Förster electricdipole transfer of localized excitons is performed.  相似文献

The (6Li, 7Be) and (6Li, 7Li) reactions on 6Li and 7Li nuclei were investigated in the angular interval 0°–20° in the laboratory system at a 6Li energy of 93 MeV. In addition to low-lying states of the 5,6He and 5,6Li nuclei, broad structures were observed near the t(3He)+d and t(3He)+t thresholds at the excitation energies of 16.75 (3/2+) and ~20 MeV (for 5He), 16.66 (3/2+) and ~20 MeV (5Li), 14.0 and 25 MeV (6He), and ~20 MeV (6Li). The angular distributions measured in the 7Li(6Li, 7Be)6He reaction for transitions to the ground state (0+) and excited states at E x=1.8 MeV (2+) and 14.0 MeV of the 6He nucleus were analyzed by the finite-range distorted-wave method assuming the 1p-and 1s-proton pickup mechanism. The (6Li, 7Be) and (6Li, 7Li) reactions were shown to proceed predominantly through the one-step pickup mechanism, and the broad structures observed at high excitation energies are considered as quasimolecular states of the t(3He)+d and t(3He)+t types.  相似文献

The A dependence of the forward cross section for inclusive pion double charge exchange on nine target nuclei from 6Li to 209Bi at T0 = 0.59 GeV, as well as the cross section for 6Li, 7Li, and 12C nuclei at T0 = 0.59, 0.75, and 1.1 GeV, was measured with the 3-m magnetic spectrometer of the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP, Moscow). The resulting A dependence is well described within the model involving two sequential single charge exchanges and taking into account the renormalization of the amplitude for pion single charge exchange in a nucleus. A relatively weak energy dependence of the cross section for the 6Li, 7Li, and 12C nuclei agrees with the analogous dependence obtained previously for the 16O nucleus, but it contradicts the predicted sharp decrease in the cross section within the model involving two sequential single charge exchanges. This result provides an additional piece of evidence that the contribution from the mechanism of inelastic Glauber rescattering is significant at T0 ? 0.6 GeV.  相似文献

Polarization measurements in the A(p, 2p)B reactions on 6Li, 7Li, and 28Si nuclei at a proton-beam energy of 1 GeV were performed in a kinematically complete experiment. By using a two-arm magnetic spectrometer, two secondary protons were recorded in coincidence at asymmetric scattering angles of θ1=15°?26° and θ2=58.6° for residual-nucleus momenta in the range K B=0–150 MeV/c. Either arm of the spectrometer was equipped with polarimeters based on proportional chambers. The data coming from this experiment are analyzed within the distorted-wave impulse approximation. It is shown that the polarization of recoil protons formed at angle θ2 in the interaction featuring a proton from the P shell of the 7Li nucleus can be described under the assumption of an effective intranuclear-proton polarization by using the single-particle shell-model wave function of the nucleus. Our data on the polarizations of the two protons from the reaction (p, 2p) on a 28Si nucleus also suggest the effective polarization of the protons in the D shell of the 28Si nucleus. It is found that, for high recoil-nucleus momenta of K B≥90 MeV/c, the effective polarization of the protons in the P shell of the 6Li nucleus—this polarization was discovered in studying the polarization of recoil protons in the reaction 6Li(p, 2p)5He—cannot be described within the shell model assuming LS coupling. As might have been expected, the polarization of recoil protons knocked out from the S shells of the 6Li and 7Li nuclei comply well with the predictions obtained in the impulse approximation with allowance for the depolarization effect alone.  相似文献

Single nucleon transfer reactions in collisions of 156 MeV6Li ions with6Li nuclei, leading to unstable final nuclei (5Li,5He) have been experimentally studied. The measured6Li(6Li,7Li)5Ligr and6Li(6Li,7Be)5Hegr differential cross sections have been analysed on the basis of a FR-DWBA procedure, looking to which extent the entrance channel optical potentials may account for the unknown exit channel potentials.  相似文献

At the JINR Nuclotron, 7Li nuclei are accelerated. The charge-exchange reaction involving these nuclei at an external target provides a secondary 1.23-A-GeV 7Be beam. This beam is used to irradiate emulsion chambers. The mean free path λinel(7Be) = 14.0 ± 0.8 cm for inelastic 7Be interactions in an emulsion coincides within the errors with those for 6Li and 7Li nuclei. More than 10% of the 7Be events are associated with the peripheral interactions in which the total charge of the relativistic fragments is equal to the charge of the 7Be nucleus and in which charged mesons are not produced. An unusual ratio of the helium isotopes is revealed in the composition of the doubly charged fragments of the 7Be nuclei: the number of the 3He fragments is twice as large as that of the 4He fragments. Each of 50% of peripheral interaction events includes two doubly charged fragments. The channels of the 7Be fragmentation into charged fragments are presented. In 50% of events, the 7Be fragmentation occurs only into charged fragments without the emission of neutrons. The 4He + 3He channel dominates, whereas each of the 4He + d + p and 6Li + p channels constitutes 10%. Two events without neutron emission are observed in the 3He + t + p and 3He + d + d three-body channels. The mean free path for the coherent dissociation of relativistic 7Be nuclei into 4He + 3He is equal to 7 ± 1 m. The main features of the fragmentation of relativistic 7Be nuclei in such peripheral interactions are explained by the 3He + 4He two-cluster structure of the 7Be nucleus.  相似文献

Experimental results on the multiplicity distributions of various particles produced in the interactions of 7Li with emulsion nuclei at a momentum of 3 GeV/c per projectile nucleon are reported. A comparison with data on collisions induced by other nuclei at a nearly identical momentum per nucleon is presented in order to reveal the dependence on the projectile mass. The internal structure of 7Li is explored by studying the projectile fragment. The mean multiplicity of shower particles, 〈n s〉, induced by 7Li is found to be less than that in the case of 6Li projectiles. The angular distributions of target fragments and relativistic charged secondaries are investigated. No shock-wave phenomena are observed. Forward-to-backward ratios are calculated for each case. The probability distributions for relativistic secondaries produced per unit rapidity are studied in detail, along with the rapidity densities and their dependence on the projectile and the target mass. A comparison of the angular spectra of shower particles produced in central and peripheral collisions supports the limiting-fragmentation hypothesis. The collisions in question seem to become more central with increasing shower-particle multiplicity.  相似文献

Free8Li (T 1/2=0.84 sec) atoms were polarized by spin exchange with optically pumped rubidium vapour. The8Li nuclei were produced by the reaction7Li(d, p)8Li in a thin LiF target. They recoiled into helium which was used as a buffer gas for optical pumping as well. Nuclear polarization up to 2% was detected by β-decay asymmetry. Rf transitions between hfs levels of the atomic ground state yielded the hfs separation ΔW=382.543(7) MHz. The nuclear spin assignmentI=2 was confirmed.  相似文献

An experimental NMR study of the 6Li isotope in single crystals of lithium niobate has been performed, along with a computer simulation of 6Li NMR spectra for a crystal of congruent composition, containing defects in the cation sublattice. It is found that the mean value of the principal component of the electric field gradient tensor at the 6Li nuclei is 1.48 times larger than at the 7Li nuclei. It is surmised that there is a substantial difference in the character of the mobility of the 6Li and 7Li nuclei in the LiO6 octahedra at room temperature. Fiz. Tverd. The energy spectra of 6He nuclei from the 90Zr(6Li, 6He) reaction at E6Li = 93 MeV have been measured over the angular range of 7 ° ? θlab ? 20 °. The theoretical DWBA analysis of these spectra and angular distributions was performed employing transition densities of bound and resonance states obtained on the basis of the theory of finite Fermi systems. It is shown that up to excitation energies of Ex ≈ 10 MeV in 90Nb a direct charge-exchange mechanism dominates in this reaction, while at higher Ex the contribution made by multistep processes increases significantly. It is also shown that the quasi-elastic cross section is determined by a sum of partial contributions of spin-isospin-flip transitions with multipolarities L=0 through L=6.  相似文献

We performed theoretical and experimental studies of the delocalization of the nuclear polarization of impurity beta-active nuclei 8Li in the spatially disordered system of 6Li nuclei in LiF single crystals. The process is controlled by the dipole-dipole interaction of nuclear magnetic moments with other nuclei (7Li, 19F) in the crystal. It is effective in a wide range of magnetic fields H 0 = 150–3000 G as a result of a unique proximity of the g-factors of 8Li and 6Li nuclei: (g(8Li) − g(6Li))/g(6Li) = 0.0057. The kinetics of the 8Li depolarization is measured for an 6Li concentration of 0.15%–10.06% and in the field H 0 of 200, 692 and 1210 G. A satisfactory explanation of the results is obtained on the basis of a numerical-analytical simulation of the process.  相似文献

The resonance absorption of solar axions by 7Li nuclei, which is accompanied by the excitation of the first nuclear level of lithium a + 7Li → 7Li* → 7Li + γ, is sought. To this end, the energy spectrum has been measured by an HPGe detector that is surrounded by a LiOH layer. A new upper limit ma ≤ 16 keV (at 90% C.L.) has been determined for the mass of the hadron axion.  相似文献

The problem of the origin of the quadrupole deformation in the 6Li ground state is investigated with allowance for the three-deuteron component of the 6Li wave function. Two long-standing puzzles related to the tensor interaction in the 6Li nucleus are known: that of an anomalous smallness of the 6Li quadrupole moment (being negative, it is smaller in magnitude than the 7Li quadrupole moment by a factor of 5) and that of an anomalous behavior of the tensor analyzing power T2q in the scattering of polarized 6Li nuclei on various targets. It is shown that a large (in magnitude) negative exchange contribution to the 6Li quadrupole moment from the three-deuteron configuration cancels almost completely the “direct” positive contribution due to the αd folding potential. As a result, the total quadrupole moment proves to be close to zero and highly sensitive to fine details of the tensor nucleon-nucleon interaction in the 4He nucleus and of its wave function.  相似文献

Angular distributions of tritons from the 6Li(n, t)4He reaction were measured at En = 7.25, 6.77, 6.57, 5.24 and 4.71 MeV. Angular distributions of douterons from respectively, the 6Li(n, d)5He two-body breakup reaction were measured at En = 6.77 and 6.57 MeV, and of protons from the 6Li(n, p)6He reaction at En = 6.77, 5.24 and 4.71 MeV. All these reactions in 6Li were analyzed as direct interaction in the formalism of the distorted wave Born approximation. The optical model for the nuclear interaction was found to apply reasonably well to nuclei as light as 4He, 5He, 6He and 6Li. In addition, 6Li as an alpha-deuteron cluster gives the best bound-state wave function to describe the experimental angular distribution of tritons. The excitation functions at forward angles of the 6Li(n, t)4He, 6Li(n, d)5He and 6Li(n, p)6He reactions were measured for incident neutron energies between 4.4 and 7.3 MeV. It is found that the 6Li(n, d)5He two-body breakup reaction has a threshold at about En = 5.3 MeV. Angular distributions at En = 18.3 MeV for tritons and protons from the 9Be(n, t)7Li and 9Be(n, p)9Li, respectively, were also measured.  相似文献

Within Glauber diffraction theory, the vector analyzing power iT 11 is calculated at three energies of positively charged pions, 134, 164, and 194 MeV, incident to 7Li nuclei. These energy values lie in the region of the Δ33 resonance in π± N interaction, the resonance maximum being at 180 MeV. The calculation of iT 11 was performed with several model 7Li wave functions, including the αt-cluster and shell-model ones. The properties of π+7Li scattering are found to be sensitive to the structural features of the target nucleus. A comparison of the results of the calculations with experimental data shows that the wave functions in question and the potentials used to calculate them are quite appropriate.  相似文献
