We first generalize the results of León-Saavedra and Müller (2006) [10] on hypercyclic subspaces to sequences of operators on Fréchet spaces with a continuous norm. Then we study the particular case of iterates of an operator T   and show a simple criterion for having no hypercyclic subspace. Finally we deduce from this criterion a characterization of weighted shifts with hypercyclic subspaces on the spaces lplp or c0c0, on the space of entire functions and on certain Köthe sequence spaces. We also prove that if P is a non-constant polynomial and D   is the differentiation operator on the space of entire functions then P(D)P(D) possesses a hypercyclic subspace.  相似文献

Recently, Bès, Martin, and Sanders [11] provided examples of disjoint hypercyclic operators which fail to satisfy the Disjoint Hypercyclicity Criterion. However, their operators also fail to be disjoint weakly mixing. We show that every separable, infinite dimensional Banach space admits operators T1,T2,…,TNT1,T2,,TN with N?2N?2 which are disjoint weakly mixing, and still fail to satisfy the Disjoint Hypercyclicity Criterion, answering a question posed in [11]. Moreover, we provide examples of disjoint hypercyclic operators T1T1, T2T2 whose corresponding set of disjoint hypercyclic vectors is nowhere dense, answering another question posed in [11]. In fact, we explicitly describe their set of disjoint hypercyclic vectors. Those same disjoint hypercyclic operators fail to be disjoint topologically transitive. Lastly, we create examples of two families of d-hypercyclic operators which fail to have any d-hypercyclic vectors in common.  相似文献

In the present paper we consider the Volterra integration operator V   on the Wiener algebra W(D)W(D) of analytic functions on the unit disc DD of the complex plane CC. A complex number λλ is called an extended eigenvalue of V if there exists a nonzero operator A   satisfying the equation AVVAAV=λVA. We prove that the set of all extended eigenvalues of V   is precisely the set C?{0}C?{0}, and describe in terms of Duhamel operators and composition operators the set of corresponding extended eigenvectors of VV. The similar result for some weighted shift operator on ?p?p spaces is also obtained.  相似文献

We introduce and study the class of almost limited sets in Banach lattices, that is, sets on which every disjoint weak?weak? null sequence of functionals converges uniformly to zero. It is established that a Banach lattice has order continuous norm if and only if almost limited sets and L  -weakly compact sets coincide. In particular, in terms of almost Dunford–Pettis operators into c0c0, we give an operator characterization of those σ-Dedekind complete Banach lattices whose relatively weakly compact sets are almost limited, that is, for a σ-Dedekind Banach lattice E, every relatively weakly compact set in E   is almost limited if and only if every continuous linear operator T:E→c0T:Ec0 is an almost Dunford–Pettis operator.  相似文献

In this paper, an improved method named the integral bifurcation method is introduced. In order to demonstrate its effectiveness for obtaining travelling wave solutions of the nonlinear wave equations, a family of third-order dispersive partial differential equations which were given by A. Degasperis, D. Holm and A. Hone are studied. Many integral bifurcations are obtained for different parameter conditions. By using these integral bifurcations, many travelling wave solutions such as loop soliton solutions, solitary wave solutions, cusp soliton solutions and periodic wave solutions are obtained. In particular, under the conditions c1<0,c2=c3=1c1<0,c2=c3=1, a very peculiar periodic wave solution is obtained.  相似文献

In this article we calculate the asymptotic behaviour of the point spectrum for some special self-adjoint unbounded Jacobi operators J   acting in the Hilbert space l2=l2(N)l2=l2(N). For given sequences of positive numbers λnλn and real qnqn the Jacobi operator is given by J=SW+WS*+QJ=SW+WS*+Q, where Q=diag(qn)Q=diag(qn) and W=diag(λn)W=diag(λn) are diagonal operators, S is the shift operator and the operator J   acts on the maximal domain. We consider a few types of the sequences {qn}{qn} and {λn}{λn} and present three different approaches to the problem of the asymptotics of eigenvalues of various classes of J's. In the first approach to asymptotic behaviour of eigenvalues we use a method called successive diagonalization, the second approach is based on analytical models that can be found for some special J's and the third method is based on an abstract theorem of Rozenbljum.  相似文献

Given a separable, infinite dimensional Hilbert space, it was recently shown by the authors that there is a path of chaotic operators, which is dense in the operator algebra with the strong operator topology, and along which every operator has the exact same dense Gδ set of hypercyclic vectors. In the present work, we show that the conjugate set of any hypercyclic operator on a separable, infinite dimensional Banach space always contains a path of operators which is dense with the strong operator topology, and yet the set of common hypercyclic vectors for the entire path is a dense Gδ set. As a corollary, the hypercyclic operators on such a Banach space form a connected subset of the operator algebra with the strong operator topology.  相似文献

In an earlier publication a linear operator THarTHar was defined as an unusual self-adjoint extension generated by each linear elliptic partial differential expression, satisfying suitable conditions on a bounded region ΩΩ of some Euclidean space. In this present work the authors define an extensive class of THarTHar-like self-adjoint operators on the Hilbert function space L2(Ω);L2(Ω); but here for brevity we restrict the development to the classical Laplacian differential expression, with ΩΩ now the planar unit disk. It is demonstrated that there exists a non-denumerable set of such THarTHar-like operators (each a self-adjoint extension generated by the Laplacian), each of which has a domain in L2(Ω)L2(Ω) that does not lie within the usual Sobolev Hilbert function space W2(Ω)W2(Ω). These THarTHar-like operators cannot be specified by conventional differential boundary conditions on the boundary of ∂ΩΩ, and may have non-empty essential spectra.  相似文献

We prove boundary regularity and a compactness result for parabolic nonlocal equations of the form ut−Iu=futIu=f, where the operator I   is not necessarily translation invariant. As a consequence of this and the regularity results for the translation invariant case, we obtain C1,αC1,α interior estimates in space for nontranslation invariant operators under some hypothesis on the time regularity of the boundary data.  相似文献

We provide an alternative proof to those by Shkarin and by Bayart and Matheron that the operator D of complex differentiation supports a hypercyclic algebra on the space of entire functions. In particular we obtain hypercyclic algebras for many convolution operators not induced by polynomials, such as cos(D), DeD, or eD?aI, where 0<a1. In contrast, weighted composition operators on function algebras of analytic functions on a plane domain fail to support supercyclic algebras.  相似文献
