Precisely two of the homogeneous spaces that appear as coadjoint orbits of the group of string reparametrizations, , carry in a natural way the structure of infinite dimensional, holomorphically homogeneous complex analytic Kähler manifolds. These areN=Diff(S 1)/Rot(S 1) andM=Diff(S 1)/Möb(S 1). Note thatN is a holomorphic disc fiber space overM. Now,M can be naturally considered as embedded in the classical universal Teichmüller spaceT(1), simply by noting that a diffeomorphism ofS 1 is a quasisymmetric homeomorphism.T(1) is itself a homomorphically homogeneous complex Banach manifold. We prove in the first part of the paper that the inclusion ofM inT(1) iscomplex analytic.In the latter portion of this paper it is shown that theunique homogeneous Kähler metric carried byM = Diff (S 1/SL(2, ) induces preciselythe Weil-Petersson metric on the Teichmüller space. This is via our identification ofM as a holomorphic submanifold of universal Teichmüller space. Now recall that every Teichmüller spaceT(G) of finite or infinite dimension is contained canonically and holomorphically withinT(1). Our computations allow us also to prove that everyT(G), G any infinite Fuchsian group, projects out ofM transversely. This last assertion is related to the fractal nature ofG-invariant quasicircles, and to Mostow rigidity on the line.Our results thus connect the loop space approach to bosonic string theory with the sum-over-moduli (Polyakov path integral) approach.  相似文献

The χ(b)(nP) quarkonium states are produced in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider at sqrt[s] = 7 TeV and recorded by the ATLAS detector. Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.4 fb(-1), these states are reconstructed through their radiative decays to Υ(1S,2S) with Υ → μ+ μ-. In addition to the mass peaks corresponding to the decay modes χ(b)(1P,2P) → Υ(1S)γ, a new structure centered at a mass of 10.530 ± 0.005(stat) ± 0.009(syst) GeV is also observed, in both the Υ(1S)γ and Υ(2S)γ decay modes. This structure is interpreted as the χ(b)(3P) system.  相似文献

Electroweak and horizontal interactions are unified with the groupSU(6) L U(1) Y for three generations. The horizontal gauge group suggested from low energy phenomenology isSU(2) H . This model does not contain exotic quarks, but exotic leptons are needed in order to make it anomaly-free. The breaking of the symmetry gives, in a natural way, heavy masses for exotic leptons and a BCS mass matrix for the up quarks, which implies that at tree level only the top quark gets a mass of orderM W . The see-saw mechanism generates tiny masses for the three known neutrinos. The remaining of the known fermion masses are light, because they can be generated only as radiative corrections.  相似文献

Laser-induced excitation spectra of the two bands ?(3)B(1)-;X(1)A(1), 2(1)(0) and 1(1)(0) of (32)SO(2) and (34)SO(2) have been recorded in a supersonic jet at a resolution of 0.015 cm(-1). The rotational and electron-spin fine structure has been analyzed for both isotopic species. Analysis of the rotational and electron-spin fine structure yields precise values of the rotational constants A, B, and C and the spin constants alpha and beta for both (32)SO(2) and (34)SO(2) in the states ?(3)B(1) (010) and (100). No interaction between these two vibrational states with any nearby triplet state is observed for rotational levels with J 相似文献

The time-dependent quantum wave packet (TDWP) and quasiclassical trajectory calculations (QCT) are carried out for the Au(2S) + H2(X1+g) → AuH(X1+g) + H(2S) reaction on a global potential energy surface. The reaction probabilities at a series of J values, integral cross sections (ICSs) and differential cross sections of the title reaction are calculated by the TDWP method. For reaction probabilities, there are a mass of sharp oscillations at low collision energy, which can be attributed to resonances supported by the potential well. Due to the endothermicity of the title reaction, the total ICS shows a threshold about 1.53 eV. In order to further investigate the reactive mechanism, the lifetime of complex is calculated by QCT method. At the low collision energy, most intermediate complexes are long lived, which implies that the reaction is governed by indirect reactive mechanism. With the collision energy increasing, the direct reactive mechanism occupies the dominant position. Due to the change of the reactive mechanism, the angular distribution shifts toward the forward direction with collision energy increasing. The isotopic variant, Au + D2→AuD + D reaction, is also calculated by TDWP method. The calculated reaction probabilities and ICSs show that the isotope effect reduces the reactivity.  相似文献

In the framework of the NRQCD factorization formalism,we calculate the decay rate for the process Υ(1 S) → ccgg to the next-to-leading order(NLO) in the relative velocity v of the b quark in the bottomonium rest frame.We also study the momentum distributions of the charm quark and the charmed-hadron in the decay.The momentum distribution of the charmed-hadron is obtained by convolving the charm quark momentum distribution with a fragmentation function of the charm quark into the hadron.In addition,we fit the nonperturbative NRQCD matrix element v 2 Υ through comparing the theoretical prediction with the measurement from the BaBar collaboration for the decay rate of Υ(1 S) → D + X.In return,taking this matrix element as an input parameter,we predict the decay rates as well as the momentum distributions for a collection of charmed-hadrons in the process Υ(1S) → ccgg → hX.  相似文献

A complete classification of all possible natural relations between the Cabibbo angleΘ c and quark masses is given which follow from an arbitrary horizontal symmetryH (discrete or continuous) and the standard gauge group SU(2) L ×U(1) with four quark flavours. It is shown that such relations depend basically only on the dimensions of the fermion and Higgs representations and that they are therefore identical for allH with representations of the same dimensions and with the same Clebsch-Gordan series for the relevant Kronecker products. IfΘ c depends on quark masses only, then eitherΘ c ?m d /m s or \(\Theta _C \simeq m_d /\sqrt {2 m_s } \) . In particular, the phenomenologically successful relation \(\Theta _C \simeq \sqrt {m_d /m_s } \) cannot be obtained in a natural way in the 4-flavour SU(2) L ×U(1) model for any horizontal symmetry.  相似文献

Using the Dyson-Schwinger equation, the four-fermion Green functions in one-loop approximation to the SU(2)L U(1) four-fermion model are found, as well as corrections to them. An expression is obtained for the collective field propagator in the one-loop approximation, and its regularization is performed. In the model under consideration, collective excitations are identified with a massless Goldstone field and a massive scalar field. We derive a class of inequalities for detecting entanglement in the mixed SU(2) and SU(1,?1) systems based on the Schrödinger-Robertson indeterminacy relations in conjugation with the partial transposition. These inequalities are in general stronger than those based on the usual Heisenberg uncertainty relations for detecting entanglement. Furthermore, based on the complete reduction from SU(2) and SU(1,?1) systems to bosonic systems, we derive some entanglement conditions for two-mode systems. We also use the partial reduction to obtain some inequalities in the mixed SU(2) (or SU(1,?1)) and bosonic systems.  相似文献

In the framework of the canonical seesaw model,we present a simple but viable scenario to explicitly break an S_(3L)×S_(3R) flavor symmetry in the leptonic sector.It turns out that the leptonic flavor mixing matrix is completely determined by the mass ratios of the charged leptons(i.e.,me/mμand mμ/mτ) and those of light neutrinos(i.e.,m_1/m_2 and m_2/m_3).The latest global-fit results of the three neutrino mixing angles {θ_(12),θ_(13),θ_(23)}and two neutrino mass-squared differences {?m_(21)~2,?m_(31)~2} at the 3σ level are used to constrain the parameter space of {m_1/m_2,m_2/m_3}.The predictions for the mass spectrum and flavor mixing are highlighted:(1) the neutrino mass spectrum shows a hierarchical pattern and a normal ordering,e.g.,m_1≈2.2meV,m_2≈8.8 meV and m_3≈52.7 meV;(2) only the first octant of θ_(23) is allowed,namely,41.8? θ_(23) 43.3?;(3) the Dirac C P-violating phase δ≈-22?deviates significantly from the maximal value-90?.All these predictions are ready to be tested in ongoing and forthcoming neutrino oscillation experiments.Moreover,we demonstrate that the cosmological matter-antimatter asymmetry can be explained via resonant leptogenesis,including the individual lepton-flavor effects.In our scenario,leptonic C P violation at low-and high-energy scales is closely connected.  相似文献

Results of the first elastic K S o regeneration experiment on carbon, using magnetic spark chamber spectrometer, are presented in the beam momentum interval 10p50 GeV/c. The d ifferentia cross section d/dt is reconstructed in the range 0·0025–t0·02 (GeV/c)2 and its slopeB is found to be momentum independent with an average valueB=(65±11) (GeV/c)–2. The São Paulo School of Advanced Sciences (ESPCA) on Recent Developments in Synchrotron Radiation was held July 13–24, 2015, at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) in Campinas, Brazil. The school was attended by 96 students, 48 from Brazil and 48 from 17 different countries. A total of 27 different nationalities were represented in this 12-day school.
