The use of succinamic acid (H2sucm) in CuII/N,N′,N″-donor [2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine (terpy), 2,6-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)pyridine (dmbppy)] reaction mixtures yielded compounds [Cu(Hsucm)(terpy)]n(ClO4)n (1), [Cu(Hsucm)(terpy)(MeOH)](ClO4) (2), [Cu2(Hsucm)2(terpy)2](ClO4)2 (3), [Cu(ClO4)2(terpy)(MeOH)] (4), [Cu(Hsucm)(dmbppy)]n(NO3)n·3nH2O (5.3nH2O), and [CuCl2(dmbppy)]·H2O (6·H2O). The succinamate(−1) ligand exists in four different coordination modes in the structures of 13 and 5, i.e., the μ2OO′:κO″ in 1 and 5 which involves asymmetric chelating coordination of the carboxylato group and ligation of the amide O-atom leading to 1D coordination polymers, the μ22OO′ in 3 which involves asymmetric chelating and bridging coordination of the carboxylato group, and the asymmetric chelating mode in 2. The primary amide group, either coordinated in 1 and 5, or uncoordinated in 2 and 3, participate in hydrogen bonding interactions, leading to interesting crystal structures. Characteristic IR bands of the complexes are discussed in terms of the known structures and the coordination modes of the Hsucm ligands. The thermal decomposition of complex 5·3nH2O was monitored by TG/DTG and DTA measurements.  相似文献

The bimetallic [Ni2(H2L2)2](ClO4)4 (1), [Ni2(HL2)(H2L2)](ClO4)3 (2) and [Zn2(H2L2)2](BF4)4 (3) complexes (H2L2 = N,N2-bis[(1E)-1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene]propanedihydrazide) were synthesized and characterized. The structure of complexes (1) and (2) was established by X-ray analysis. NMR spectroscopy was used for the characterization of complex (3). The complexes (1) and (2) were obtained from the same synthetic reaction and two crystal types of these complexes have been isolated during the fractional crystallization process.  相似文献

The use of succinamic acid (H2sucm)/N,N′-chelate (2,2′-bipyridine, bpy; 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, dmbpy; 1,10-phenanthroline, phen) ‘ligand blends’ in CuX2·yH2O (X = NO3, y = 3; X = Cl, y = 0) chemistry has yielded the new complexes [Cu2(Hsucm)3(bpy)2](NO3)·0.5MeOH (1·0.5MeOH), [Cu2(Hsucm)(OH)Cl(bpy)2](OH)·3.6H2O (5·3.6H2O) and [Cu2(Hsucm)2Cl2(phen)2] (6). The succinamate(−1) ion behaves as a carboxylate ligand and exists in two different coordination modes in the structures of the above complexes, i.e., the common syn, syn μ2OO′ in 1, 5 and 6, and the μ22OO′ in 1. The primary amide group of Hsucm remains uncoordinated and participates in intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions leading to 1D, 2D and 3D networks. Characteristic IR bands of the complexes are discussed in terms of the known structures and the coordination modes of the Hsucm ligands.  相似文献

Three novel Cu(II)-pyrazine-2,3-dicarboxylate complexes with 1,3-propanediamine (pen), [Cu2(μ-pzdc)2(pen)2] · 2H2O (1), N,N,N,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmen), {[Cu(μ-pzdc)(tmen)] · H2O}n(2), and 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), {[Cu(μ-pzdc)(bipy)]·H2O}n(3) have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental and thermal analyses, magnetic susceptibilities, IR and UV/vis spectroscopic studies. The molecular structures of dinuclear (1) and polynuclear (2 and 3) complexes have been determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. The pyrazine-2,3-dicarboxylate acts as a bridging ligand through oxygen atom of carboxylate group and N atom of pyrazine ring and one oxygen atom of neighboring carboxylate. It links the Cu(II) ions to generate a distorted square pyramidal geometry forming a one-dimensional (1D) chain. Adjacent chains of 1 and 2 are then mutually linked via hydrogen bonding interactions, which are further assembled to form a two and three-dimensional network, respectively. The chains of complex 3 are further constructed to form three-dimensional framework by hydrogen bonding, C–H?π and ring?ring stacking interactions. In the complexes, Cu(II) ions have distorted square pyramidal geometry. Thermal analyses properties and thermal decomposition mechanism of complexes have been investigated by using thermal analyses techniques (TG, DTG and DTA).  相似文献

The synthetic investigation of the Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O/fumaric acid (H2fum)/N,N’-chelates (1,10-phen, 2,2′-bpy) tertiary reaction systems has yielded mononuclear, dinuclear and tetranuclear complexes, and three coordination polymers. The chemical and structural identity of the products depends on the solvent, the absence or presence of external hydroxides in the reaction mixtures and the N,N’-donor. Three fumarato(−2) complexes, i.e. compounds [Cu2(fum)(phen)4](ClO4)2·2H2O (1·2H2O), [Cu(fum)(phen)(H2O)]n (3) and [Cu2(fum)(bpy)2(H2O)2]n(ClO4)2n (6), were isolated and structurally characterized, and four non-fumarato complexes, i.e. compounds [Cu43-ΟΗ)22-ΟΗ)2(phen)4(H2O)2](ClO4)4·2H2O (2·2H2O), [Cu(ClO4)(phen) (MeCN)2(H2O)](ClO4) (4), [Cu(ClO4)(phen)(MeCN)2]n(ClO4)n (5) and [Cu(ClO4)2(bpy)(MeCN)2] (7), were simultaneously obtained from the reaction systems investigated. The coordination versatility of the fumarato(−2) ligand is reflected to the three different coordination modes observed in 1·2H2O, 3 and 6; the monodentate bridging μ2OO′ mode in 3, the asymmetric chelating bridging μ2OO′:κO′′:κO′′′ mode in 1·2H2O and 3, and the syn,syn bridging μ4OO′:κO′′:κO′′′ mode in 6. The crystal structures of the complexes are stabilized by intra- and inter-molecular hydrogen bonding and π–π stacking interactions leading to interesting supramolecular architectures. Characteristic IR bands of the complexes are discussed in terms of the known structures, and the coordination modes of the fum2− ligands.  相似文献

MgMe2 (1) was found to react with 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (dabco) in tetrahydrofuran (thf) yielding a binuclear complex [{MgMe2(thf)}2(μ-dabco)] (2). Furthermore, from reactions of MgMeBr with diglyme (diethylene glycol dimethyl ether), NEt3, and tmeda (N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine) in etheral solvents compounds MgMeBr(L), (L = diglyme (5); NEt3 (6); tmeda (7)) were obtained as highly air- and moisture-sensitive white powders. From a thf solution of 7 crystals of [MgMeBr(thf)(tmeda)] (8) were obtained. Reactions of MgMeBr with pmdta (N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine) in thf resulted in formation of [MgMeBr(pmdta)] (9) in nearly quantitative yield. On the other hand, the same reaction in diethyl ether gave MgMeBr(pmdta) · MgBr2(pmdta) (10) and [{MgMe2(pmdta)}7{MgMeBr(pmdta)}] (11) in 24% and 2% yield, respectively, as well as [MgMe2(pmdta)] (12) as colorless needle-like crystals in about 26% yield. The synthesized methylmagnesium compounds were characterized by microanalysis and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The coordination-induced shifts of the 1H and 13C nuclei of the ligands are small; the largest ones were found in the tmeda and pmdta complexes. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses revealed in 2 a tetrahedral environment of the Mg atoms with a bridging dabco ligand and in 8 a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination of the Mg atom. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses of [MgMe2(pmdta)] (12) and [MgBr2(pmdta)] (13) showed them to be monomeric with five-coordinate Mg atoms. The square-pyramidal coordination polyhedra are built up of three N and two C atoms in 12 and three N and two Br atoms in 13. The apical positions are occupied by methyl and bromo ligands, respectively. Temperature-dependent 1H NMR spectroscopic measurements (from 27 to −80 °C) of methylmagnesium bromide complexes MgMeBr(L) (L = thf (4); diglyme (5); NEt3 (6); tmeda (7)) in thf-d8 solutions indicated that the deeper the temperature the more the Schlenk equilibria are shifted to the dimethylmagnesium/dibromomagnesium species. Furthermore, at −80 °C the dimethylmagnesium compounds are predominant in the solutions of Grignard compounds 4-6 whereas in the case of the tmeda complex7 the equilibrium constant was roughly estimated to be 0.25. In contrast, [MgMeBr(pmdta)] (9) in thf-d8 revealed no dismutation into [MgMe2(pmdta)] (12) and [MgBr2(pmdta)] (13) even up to −100 °C. In accordance with this unexpected behavior, 1:1 mixtures of 12 and 13 were found to react in thf at room temperature yielding quantitatively the corresponding Grignard compound 9. Moreover, the structures of [MgMeBr(pmdta)] (9c), [MgMe2(pmdta)] (12c), and [MgBr2(pmdta)] (13c) were calculated on the DFT level of theory. The calculated structures 12c and 13c are in a good agreement with the experimentally observed structures 12 and 13. The equilibrium constant of the Schlenk equilibrium (2 9c ? 12c + 13c) was calculated to be Kgas = 2.0 × 10−3 (298 K) in the gas phase. Considering the solvent effects of both thf and diethyl ether using a polarized continuum model (PCM) the corresponding equilibrium constants were calculated to be Kthf = 1.2 × 10−3 and Kether = 3.2 × 10−3 (298 K), respectively.  相似文献

Two types of Pd-complexes containing the new N,N′-ligands 2-[3-(4-alkyloxyphenyl)pyrazol-1-yl]pyridine (pzRpy; R = C6H4OCnH2n+1, n = 6 (hp), 10 (dp), 12 (ddp), 14 (tdp), 16 (hdp), 18 (odp)) (1-6), namely c-[Pd(Cl)2(pzRpy)] (7-10) and c-[Pd(η3-C3H5)(pzRpy)]BF4 (11-16), have been synthesised and characterised by different spectroscopic techniques. Those members of the second type containing the largest chains (R = ddp 13, tdp 14, hdp 15, odp 16) have been found to have liquid crystal properties showing smectic A mesophases. By contrast, neither the free ligands pzRpy nor their related c-[Pd(Cl)2(pzRpy)] complexes exhibited mesomorphism. The new synthesised metallomesogens are mononuclear complexes with an unsymmetrical molecular shape as deduced from the X-ray structures of c-[Pd(η3-C3H5)(pzRpy)]BF4 (R = hp, 11; dp, 12). Both compounds, which are isostructural, show a distorted square-planar environment on the palladium centres defined by the allyl and the bidentate pzRpy ligands. The crystal structure reveals that both the counteranion and the pzRpy ligand function as a source of hydrogen-bonding and intermolecular π?π contacts resulting in a 2D supramolecular assembly.  相似文献

N-Heterocyclic carbene ligands (NHC) were metalated with Pd(OAc)2 or [Ni(CH3CN)6](BF4)2 by in situ deprotonation of imidazolium salts to give the N-olefin functionalized biscarbene complexes [MX2(NHC)2] 3-7 (3: M = Pd, X = Br, NHC = 1,3-di(3-butenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene; 4: M = Pd, X = Br, NHC = 1,3-di(4-pentenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene; 5: M = Pd, X = I, NHC = 1,3-diallylimidazolin-2-ylidene; 6: M = Ni, X = I, NHC = 1,3-diallylimidazolin-2-ylidene; 7: M = Ni, X = I, NHC = 1-methyl-3-allylimidazolin-2-ylidene). Molecular structure determinations for 4-7 revealed that square-planar complexes with cis (5) or trans (4, 6, 7) coordination geometry at the metal center had been obtained. Reaction of nickelocene with imidazolium bromides afforded the η5-cyclopentadienyl (η5-Cp) monocarbene nickel complexes [NiBr(η5-Cp)(NHC)] 8 and 9 (8: NHC = 1-methyl-3-allylimidazolin-2-ylidene; 9: NHC = 1,3-diallylimidazolin-2-ylidene). The bromine abstraction in complexes 8 and 9 with silver tetrafluoroborate gave complexes [NiBr(η5-Cp)(η3-NHC)] 10 and 11. The X-ray structure analysis of 10 and 11 showed a trigonal-pyramidal coordination geometry at the nickel(II) center and coordination of one N-allyl substituent.  相似文献

The reactions of Mo2(O2CCH3)4 with different equivalents of N,N′-bis(pyrimidine-2-yl)formamidine (HL1) and N-(2-pyrimidinyl)formamide (HL2) afforded dimolybdenum complexes of the types Mo2(O2CCH3)(L1)2(L2) (1) trans-Mo2(L1)2(L2)2 (2) cis-Mo2(L1)2(L2)2 (3) and Mo2(L2)4 (4). Their UV–Vis and NMR spectra have been recorded and their structures determined by X-ray crystallography. Complexes 2 and 3 establish the first pair of trans and cis forms of dimolybdenum complexes containing formamidinate ligands. The L1 ligands in 13 are bridged to the metal centers through two central amine nitrogen atoms, while the L2 ligands in 14 are bridged to the metal centers via one pyrimidyl nitrogen atom and the amine nitrogen atom. The Mo–Mo distances of complexes 1 [2.0951(17) Å], 2 [2.103(1) Å] and 3 [2.1017(3) Å], which contain both Mo?N and Mo?O axial interactions, are slightly longer than those of complex 4 [2.0826(12)–2.0866(10) Å] which has only Mo?O interactions.  相似文献

The use of di-2-pyridyl ketone oxime, (py)pkoH, and phenyl 2-pyridyl ketone oxime, ppkoH, in copper(II) hexafluoroacetylacetonate chemistry is reported. The reaction of CuCl2·2H2O with one and two equivalents of ppkoH and Na(hfac), respectively, in CH2Cl2 affords the dinuclear complex [Cu2(hfac)2(ppko)2] (1) in excellent yield. The replacement of ppkoH by (py)pkoH gives the isostructural compound [Cu2(hfac)2{(py)pko}2] (2) in good yield. The CuII atoms in both 1 and 2 are doubly bridged by the oximate groups of two η1112 ppko and (py)pko ligands, respectively. The bridging Cu–(R–NO)–Cu′ units are not planar, with the torsion angles being 23.2° (1) and 20.3° (2). A bidentate chelating hfac ligand completes five-coordination at each square pyramidal metal ion. The hfac-free reaction system CuCl2·2H2O/(py)pkoH/NEt3 (1:2:1) gives instead the mononuclear complex [CuCl{(py)pko}{(py)pkoH}] (3) in very good yield. The CuII atom is coordinated by two N,N′-bidentate (py)pko/(py)pkoH chelates and a monodentate chloride anion resulting in a distorted square pyramidal geometry around the metal center. Variable-temperature, solid-state dc magnetic studies were carried out on the representative dinuclear complex 1 in the 2.0–300 K range. The data indicate a very strong antiferromagnetic exchange interaction and a resulting S = 0 ground state, which is well isolated from the S = 1 excited state. The J value of −720 cm−1 was derived from the fitting of the experimental data using the Hamiltonian H = −J(S1 · S2).  相似文献

Investigation of the CuCl2/H2Memal/L (H2Memal = methylmalonic acid, L = 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2′-bipyridine) reaction system in MeOH and various molar ratios has lead to the isolation of two one-dimensional coordination polymers presenting the [Cu(L)(Memal)] repeating unit (1, L = 1,10-phen; 2, L = 2,2′-bpy). The Memal2− ligand adopts the bidentate [chelating] + unidentate coordination mode between the CuII ions. Magnetic susceptibility measurements on 1 and 2 indicated the existence of weak ferromagnetic intrachain interactions and X-band EPR spectra from powdered samples of 1 and 2 are consistent with the stereochemistry of the CuII ions and with the presence of weak exchange interactions.  相似文献

A series of new asymmetrically N-substituted derivatives of the 1,4,7-triazacyclononane (tacn) macrocycle have been prepared from the common precursor 1,4,7-triazatricyclo[5.2.1.04,10]decane: 1-ethyl-4-isopropyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L1), 1-isopropyl-4-propyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L2), 1-(3-aminopropyl)-4-benzyl-7-isopropyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L3), 1-benzyl-4-isopropyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L4) and 1,4-bis(3-aminopropyl)-7-isopropyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (L5). The corresponding monomeric copper(II) complexes were synthesised and were found to be of composition: [Cu(L1)Cl2] · 1/2 H2O (C1), [Cu(L4)Cl2] · 4H2O (C2), [Cu(L3)(MeCN)](ClO4)2 (C3), [Cu(L5)](ClO4)2 · MeCN · NaClO4 (C4) and [Cu(L2)Cl2] · 1/2 H2O (C5). The X-ray crystal structures of each complex revealed a distorted square-pyramidal copper(II) geometry, with the nitrogen donors on the ligands occupying 3 (C1 and C2), 4 (C3) or 5 (C4) coordination sites on the Cu(II) centre. The metal complexes were tested for the ability to hydrolytically cleave phosphate esters at near physiological conditions, using the model phosphodiester, bis(p-nitrophenyl)phosphate (BNPP). The observed rate constants for BNPP cleavage followed the order kC1 ≈ kC2 > kC5 ? kC3 > kC4, confirming that tacn-type Cu(II) complexes efficiently accelerate phosphate ester hydrolysis by being able to bind phosphate esters and also form the nucleophile necessary to carry out intramolecular cleavage. Complexes C1 and C2, featuring asymmetrically disubstituted ligands, exhibited rate constants of the same order of magnitude as those reported for the Cu(II) complexes of symmetrically tri-N-alkylated tacn ligands (k ∼ 1.5 × 10−5 s−1).  相似文献

The syntheses and structures of a series of metal complexes, namely Cu2Cl4(L1)(DMSO)2·2DMSO (L1 = N,N′-bis(2-pyridinyl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide), 1; {[Cu(L2)1.5(DMF)2][ClO4]2·3DMF} (L2 = N,N′-bis(3-pyridinyl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide), 2; {[Cd(NO3)2(L3)]·2DMF} (L3 = N,N′-bis-(2-pyrimidinyl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide), 3; {[HgBr2(L3)]·H2O}, 4, and {[Na(L3)2][Hg2X5]·2DMF} (X = Br, 5; I, 6) are reported. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is dinuclear and the molecules are interlinked through S?S interactions. In 2, the Cu(II) ions are linked through the L2 ligands to form 1-D ladder-like chains with 60-membered metallocycles, whereas complexes 3 and 4 form 1-D zigzag chains. In complexes 5 and 6, the Na(I) ions are linked by the L3 ligands to form 2-D layer structures in which the [Hg2X5] anions are in the cavities. The L2 ligand acts only as a bridging ligand, while L1 and L3 show both chelating and bridging bonding modes. The L1 ligand in 1 adopts a trans-anti conformation and the L2 ligand in 2 adopts both the cis-syn and trans-anti conformations, whereas the L3 ligands in 36 adopt the trans conformation.  相似文献

Three complexes of composition [CrL(X)3], where L = 4′-(2-pyridyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine and X = Cl, N3, NCS are synthesized. They are characterized by IR, UV–Vis, fluorescence, EPR spectroscopic, and X-ray crystallographic studies. Structural studies reveal that the Cr(III) ion is coordinated by three N atoms of L in a meridional fashion. The three anions occupy the other three coordination sites completing the mer-N3Cl3 (1) and mer-N3N3 (2 and 3), distorted octahedral geometry. The Cr–N2 has a shorter length than the Cr–N1 and Cr–N3 distances and the order Cr–N(NCS) < Cr–N(N3) < Cr–Cl is observed. They exhibit some of the d–d transitions in the visible and intra-ligand transitions in the UV regions. The lowest energy d–d transition follows the trend [CrLCl3] < [CrL(N3)3] < [CrL(NCS)3] consistent with the spectrochemical series. In DMF, they exhibit fluorescence having π → π character. All the complexes show a rhombic splitting as well as zero-field splitting (zfs) in X-band EPR spectra at 77 K.  相似文献

The mononuclear high-spin iron(III) complexes [Fe(3-MeOsalpn)Cl(H2O)] (1) and [Fe(3-MeOsalpn)(NCS)(H2O)]·0.5CH3CN (2) and the tetranuclear oxo-bridged compound [{Fe(3-MeOsalpn)Gd(NO3)3}2(μ-O)]·CH3CN (3) [3-MeOsalpn2− = N,N′-propylenebis(3-methoxysalicylideneiminate)] have been prepared and magneto-structurally characterised. The iron(III) ion in 1 and 2 is six-coordinated in a somewhat distorted octahedral surrounding with the two phenolate-oxygens and two imine-nitrogens from the Schiff-base building the equatorial plane and a water (1 and 2) and a chloro (1)/thiocyanate-nitrogen (2) in the axial positions. The neutral mononuclear units of 1 and 2 are assembled into centrosymmetric dinuclear motifs through hydrogen bonds between the axially coordinated water molecule of one iron centre and methoxy-oxygen atoms from the Schiff-base of the adjacent iron atom. The values of the intradimer metal-metal distance within the supramolecular dimers are 4.930 (1) and 4.878 Å (2). The tetranuclear of 3 can be described as two {FeIII(3-MeOsalpn)} units connected through an oxo-bridge, each one hosting a [GdIII(NO3)3] entity in the outer cavity defined by the two phenolate- and two methoxy-oxygen atoms. The values of the intramolecular Fe?Fe and Fe?Gd distances in 3 are 3.502 and 3.606 Å, respectively. The analysis of the magnetic data of 1-3 in the temperature range 1.9-300 K shows the occurrence of weak intermolecular antiferromagnetic interactions in 1 and 2 [J = −0.76 (1) and −0.75 cm−1 (2) with the Hamiltonian defined as H = −JSFe1·SFe1] whereas two intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions coexist in 3, one very strong between the two iron(III) ions (J1) through the oxo bridge and the other much weaker between the iron(III) and the Gd(III) ions (J2) across the double phenoxo oxygens [J1 = −275 cm−1 and J2 = −3.25 cm−1, the Hamiltonian being defined as H=-J1SFe1·SFe1-J2(SFe1·SGd1+SFe1·SGd1)]. These values are analysed in the light of the structural data and compared with those of related systems.  相似文献

The ternary complexes of [CuII(Hist)(Tyr)]+1 and [CuII(Hist)(Trp)]+2 have been synthesized, structurally characterized and their DNA binding and cleavage abilities probed. The intrinsic binding constants (Kb) for complexes/CT-DNA were also determined (Kb = 2.7 × 102 for complex 1 and Kb = 2.2 × 102 for complex 2). These complexes exhibit their nuclease activity on plasmid DNA, which seems to depend on the nature of the aromatic moiety. The DNA hydrolytic cleavage rate constants were also determined for complexes 1 and 2, which are 0.91 and 0.79 h−1, respectively.  相似文献

The copper(II) complexes [Cu2(phen)2(HL1)2] (ClO4)2 (1) and [Cu2(phen)2(HL2)2] (ClO4)2 (2) synthesized from two potentially tridentate ligands N-(2-hydroxybenzyl) propanolamine (H2L1) and N-(5-methyl-2-hydroxybenzyl) propanolamine (H2L2) have centrosymmetric bis(μ2-phenoxo)-bridged dicopper(II) structures. Variable temperature magnetic measurements have revealed the existence of relatively weak antiferromagnetic interactions (1: 2J=−212.5, 2: 2J=−337.0 cm−1) with respect to the bridging angles (1: θ=101.47(18)°, 2: θ=102.79(12)°). The results suggest that the distortion index of the Cu(II) atoms (1: τ=0.73, 2: τ=0.53) may be the major factor governing the spin coupling between the copper(II) centers of these diphenoxo-bridged binuclear complexes. The coordination moieties of complex 1 are connected into a 1D linear structure via intermolecular hydrogen bonds between alkoxyl, amine, and perchlorate groups.  相似文献

Three new diorganotin(IV) complexes of the general formula R2Sn[3-(OMe)-2-OC6H3CHN-NC(O)Ph] (R = Ph, Ia; R = Me, Ib; R = n-Bu, Ic) have been synthesised from the corresponding diorganotin(IV) dichlorides and the ligand, N′-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)benzohydrazide in methanol at room temperature in the presence of trimethylamine. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H, 13C, 15N, 119Sn NMR spectra, and their structures have been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis of one representative compound Ia. Complex Ia crystallises in the orthorhombic system, space group Pna21 with a = 12.424(5), b = 9.911(5), c = 18.872(5) Å; Z = 4. The ligand N′-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)benzohydrazide (H2L) coordinates to the metal centre in the enolate form via the phenolic O, imino N and enolic O atoms. In Ia, the central tin atom adopts a distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination geometry with the oxygen atoms in axial positions, while the imino nitrogen atom of the Schiff base and the two phenyl groups occupy the equatorial sites. The δ(119Sn) values for the complexes Ia, Ib and Ic are −327.3, −151.7 and −187.2 ppm, respectively, thus indicating penta-coordinated Sn centres in solution.  相似文献

Two series of complexes of the types trans-[CoIII(Mebpb)(amine)2]ClO4 {Mebpb2− = N,N-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)-4-methylbenzene dianion, and amine = pyrrolidine (prldn) (1a), piperidine (pprdn) (2a), morpholine (mrpln) (3a), benzylamine (bzlan) (4a)}, and trans-[CoIII(cbpb)(amine)2]X {cbpb2− = N,N-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)-4-chlorobenzene dianion, and amine = pyrrolidine (prldn), X = PF6 (1b), piperidine (pprdn), X = PF6 (2b), morpholine (mrpln), X = ClO4 (3b), benzylamine (bzlan), X = PF6 (4b)} have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV–Vis, and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1a has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The electrochemical behavior of these complexes, with the goal of evaluating the effect of axial ligation and equatorial substitution on the redox properties, is also reported. The reduction potential of CoIII, ranging from −0.53 V for (1a) to −0.31 V for (3a) and from −0.48 V for (1b) to −0.22 V for (3b) show a relatively good correlation with the σ-donor ability of the axial ligands. The methyl and chloro substituents of the equatorial ligand have a considerable effect on the redox potentials of the central cobalt ion and the ligand-centered redox processes.  相似文献

Two structurally different complexes, [Cu2(2-NO2Bz)4(denia)1]n (1) and [Cu(2-NO2Bz)2(denia)2(H2O)2] (2), were prepared from the same reaction (where 2-NO2Bz = 2-nitrobenzoate, denia = N,N-diethylnicotinamide) and they are reported together with [Cu2(2-NO2Bz)4(DMF)2] (3) (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide). The compounds under study were characterized by elemental analysis, electronic, IR and EPR spectra, magnetic measurements over the temperature range of 1.8–300 K and X-ray analysis. The molecular structure of (1) is polymeric, (2) is monomeric and (3) is dimeric. In the polymeric chain of (1), the denia molecules serve as bridges between dimeric Cu2(2-NO2bz)4 units. Each Cu(II) atom has a square-pyramidal arrangement with different chromophores, Cu1O4O′ and Cu2O4N. The Cu–Cu distances are 2.699(1) Å in the dimeric unit and 7.980(3) Å between the dimeric units. In (2) the Cu(II) atom has a tetragonal-bipyramidal environment CuO2N2O′2. In (3) two Cu(II) atoms are bridged by four carboxylate groups of four 2-NO2bz anions in a synsyn arrangement which create a square base about each Cu(II) atom and an apical position is occupied by the O atom of a DMF molecule (CuO4O′). The Cu–Cu distance of 2.633(1) Å is somewhat shorter than in (1). Spectral and magnetic data of the complexes are discussed with their structures.  相似文献
