We are going to study the standing waves for the generalized Choquard equation with potential:
$$ -i\partial_{t} u-\Delta u+V(x)u=\bigl(|x|^{-1}\ast |u|^{p}\bigr)|u|^{p-2}u,\quad \hbox{in } \mathbb{R}\times \mathbb{R}^{3}, $$
where \(V(x)\) is a real function, \(p>2\) is close to 2 and ? standards for the convolution in \(\mathbb{R}^{3}\). The stability of the standing waves \(u(x)=e^{i\omega t}\varphi (x)\) is investigated under suitable assumptions on the potential and the frequency \(\omega \).

Given \(1\le q \le 2\) and \(\alpha \in \mathbb {R}\), we study the properties of the solutions of the minimum problem
$$\begin{aligned} \lambda (\alpha ,q)=\min \left\{ \dfrac{\displaystyle \int _{-1}^{1}|u'|^{2}dx+\alpha \left| \int _{-1}^{1}|u|^{q-1}u\, dx\right| ^{\frac{2}{q}}}{\displaystyle \int _{-1}^{1}|u|^{2}dx}, u\in H_{0}^{1}(-1,1),\,u\not \equiv 0\right\} . \end{aligned}$$
In particular, depending on \(\alpha \) and q, we show that the minimizers have constant sign up to a critical value of \(\alpha =\alpha _{q}\), and when \(\alpha >\alpha _{q}\) the minimizers are odd.

The goal of this paper is to establish singular Adams type inequality for biharmonic operator on Heisenberg group. As an application, we establish the existence of a solution to
$$\Delta_{\mathbb{H}^n}^2 u=\frac{f(\xi,u)}{\rho(\xi)^a}\,\,\text{ in}\Omega,\,\, u|_{\partial\Omega}=0=\left.\frac{\partial u}{\partial\nu}\right|_{\partial\Omega},$$
where \({0\in \Omega \subseteq \mathbb{H}^4}\) is a bounded domain, \(0 \leq a \leq Q,\,(Q=10).\) The special feature of this problem is that it contains an exponential nonlinearity and singular potential.

In this article we study the problem
$$\begin{aligned} \Delta ^{2}u-\left( a+b\int _{\mathbb {R}^{N}}\left| \nabla u\right| ^{2}dx\right) \Delta u+V(x)u=\left| u\right| ^{p-2}u\ \text { in }\mathbb {R}^{N}, \end{aligned}$$
where \(\Delta ^{2}:=\Delta (\Delta )\) is the biharmonic operator, \(a,b>0\) are constants, \(N\le 7,\) \(p\in (4,2_{*})\) for \(2_{*}\) defined below, and \(V(x)\in C(\mathbb {R}^{N},\mathbb {R})\). Under appropriate assumptions on V(x), the existence of least energy sign-changing solution is obtained by combining the variational methods and the Nehari method.

We show that the problem at critical growth, involving the 1-Laplace operator and obtained by relaxation of \({-\Delta_1 u=\lambda |u|^{-1}u+|u|^{1^*-2} u}\) , admits a nontrivial solution \({u \in BV(\Omega)}\) for any λ ≥ λ1. Nonstandard linking structures, for the associated functional, are recognized.  相似文献

We prove the \(C^{1,\beta }\)-boundary regularity and a comparison principle for weak solutions of the problem
$$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} -\Delta _{p}u-\lambda \psi _{p}(u)=f(x)&{}\quad \text {in }\Omega , \\ u=0&{}\quad \text {on }\partial \Omega , \end{array} \right. \end{aligned}$$
where \(\Omega \) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb {R}^{N},N>1\ \)with smooth boundary \(\partial \Omega ,\ \ \Delta _{p}u=\mathrm{div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u),\psi _{p}(u)=|u|^{p-2}u,p>1,\ \)and f is allowed to be unbounded.

In this paper we study perturbed Ornstein–Uhlenbeck operators
$$\begin{aligned} \left[ \mathcal {L}_{\infty } v\right] (x)=A\triangle v(x) + \left\langle Sx,\nabla v(x)\right\rangle -B v(x),\,x\in \mathbb {R}^d,\,d\geqslant 2, \end{aligned}$$
for simultaneously diagonalizable matrices \(A,B\in \mathbb {C}^{N,N}\). The unbounded drift term is defined by a skew-symmetric matrix \(S\in \mathbb {R}^{d,d}\). Differential operators of this form appear when investigating rotating waves in time-dependent reaction diffusion systems. We prove under certain conditions that the maximal domain \(\mathcal {D}(A_p)\) of the generator \(A_p\) belonging to the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck semigroup coincides with the domain of \(\mathcal {L}_{\infty }\) in \(L^p(\mathbb {R}^d,\mathbb {C}^N)\) given by
$$\begin{aligned} \mathcal {D}^p_{\mathrm {loc}}(\mathcal {L}_0)=\left\{ v\in W^{2,p}_{\mathrm {loc}}\cap L^p\mid A\triangle v + \left\langle S\cdot ,\nabla v\right\rangle \in L^p\right\} ,\,1<p<\infty . \end{aligned}$$
One key assumption is a new \(L^p\)-dissipativity condition
$$\begin{aligned} |z|^2\mathrm {Re}\,\left\langle w,Aw\right\rangle + (p-2)\mathrm {Re}\,\left\langle w,z\right\rangle \mathrm {Re}\,\left\langle z,Aw\right\rangle \geqslant \gamma _A |z|^2|w|^2\;\forall \,z,w\in \mathbb {C}^N \end{aligned}$$
for some \(\gamma _A>0\). The proof utilizes the following ingredients. First we show the closedness of \(\mathcal {L}_{\infty }\) in \(L^p\) and derive \(L^p\)-resolvent estimates for \(\mathcal {L}_{\infty }\). Then we prove that the Schwartz space is a core of \(A_p\) and apply an \(L^p\)-solvability result of the resolvent equation for \(A_p\). In addition, we derive \(W^{1,p}\)-resolvent estimates. Our results may be considered as extensions of earlier works by Metafune, Pallara and Vespri to the vector-valued complex case.

In this paper, we investigate solutions of the hyperbolic Poisson equation \(\Delta _{h}u(x)=\psi (x)\), where \(\psi \in L^{\infty }(\mathbb {B}^{n}, {\mathbb R}^n)\) and
$$\begin{aligned} \Delta _{h}u(x)= (1-|x|^2)^2\Delta u(x)+2(n-2)\left( 1-|x|^2\right) \sum _{i=1}^{n} x_{i} \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_{i}}(x) \end{aligned}$$
is the hyperbolic Laplace operator in the n-dimensional space \(\mathbb {R}^n\) for \(n\ge 2\). We show that if \(n\ge 3\) and \(u\in C^{2}(\mathbb {B}^{n},{\mathbb R}^n) \cap C(\overline{\mathbb {B}^{n}},{\mathbb R}^n )\) is a solution to the hyperbolic Poisson equation, then it has the representation \(u=P_{h}[\phi ]-G_{ h}[\psi ]\) provided that \(u\mid _{\mathbb {S}^{n-1}}=\phi \) and \(\int _{\mathbb {B}^{n}}(1-|x|^{2})^{n-1} |\psi (x)|\,d\tau (x)<\infty \). Here \(P_{h}\) and \(G_{h}\) denote Poisson and Green integrals with respect to \(\Delta _{h}\), respectively. Furthermore, we prove that functions of the form \(u=P_{h}[\phi ]-G_{h}[\psi ]\) are Lipschitz continuous.

We establish multiplicity and nonexistence of solutions to the quasilinear problem
$$\begin{aligned} -\Delta _{p}v=\left| v\right| ^{q-2}v\,\,\text {in}\,\,\Omega ,\qquad v=0\text { on }{\partial {\Omega }}, \end{aligned}$$
in some bounded smooth domains \(\Omega \) in \(\mathbb {R}^{N}\), for \(1<p<N\) and some supercritical exponents \(q>p^{*}:=\frac{Np}{N-p}\). Multiplicity is established in domains arising from the Hopf maps. We show that, after a suitable change of metric, these maps become p-harmonic morphisms, i.e., they preserve the p-Laplace operator up to a factor. We use them to reduce the supercritical problem to an anisotropic quasilinear critical problem in a domain of lower dimension.

We consider the generalized Korteweg-de Vries (gKdV) equation with the time oscillating nonlinearity:
$${\partial}_t u+{\partial}_x^3 u+ g(\omega t) {\partial}_x (|u|^{p-1}u)= 0, \quad (t, x) \in \mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}.$$
Under the suitable assumption on g, we show that if the nonlinear term is mass critical or supercritical i.e., \({p \geq 5}\) and \({u(0) \in \dot{H}^{s_{p}}}\), where \({s_{p} = 1/2 - 2/(p-1)}\) is a scale critical exponent, then there exists a unique global solution to (gKdV) provided that \({|\omega|}\) is sufficiently large. We also obtain the behavior of the solution to (gKdV) as \({|\omega| \to \infty}\).

The aim of this work is to establish the existence of multi-peak solutions for the following class of quasilinear problems
$$ - \mbox{div} \bigl(\epsilon^{2}\phi\bigl(\epsilon|\nabla u|\bigr)\nabla u \bigr) + V(x)\phi\bigl(\vert u\vert\bigr)u = f(u)\quad\mbox{in } \mathbb{R}^{N}, $$
where \(\epsilon\) is a positive parameter, \(N\geq2\), \(V\), \(f\) are continuous functions satisfying some technical conditions and \(\phi\) is a \(C^{1}\)-function.

Given a compact Riemannian manifold (Mg) without boundary of dimension \(m\ge 3\) and under some symmetry assumptions, we establish existence of one positive and multiple nodal solutions to the Yamabe-type equation
$$\begin{aligned} -\text {div}_{g}(a\nabla u)+bu=c|u|^{2^{*}-2}u\quad \text { on }M, \end{aligned}$$
where \(a,b,c\in \mathcal {C}^{\infty }(M), a\) and c are positive, ? div\(_{g}(a\nabla )+b\) is coercive, and \(2^{*}=\frac{2m}{m-2}\) is the critical Sobolev exponent. In particular, if \(R_{g}\) denotes the scalar curvature of (Mg), we give conditions which guarantee that the Yamabe problem
$$\begin{aligned} \Delta _{g}u+\frac{m-2}{4(m-1)}R_{g}u=\kappa u^{2^{*}-2}\quad \text { on }M \end{aligned}$$
admits a prescribed number of nodal solutions.

Let \({\Omega}\) be a Lipschitz bounded domain of \({\mathbb{R}^N}\), \({N\geq2}\), and let \({u_p\in W_0^{1,p}(\Omega)}\) denote the p-torsion function of \({\Omega}\), p > 1. It is observed that the value 1 for the Cheeger constant \({h(\Omega)}\) is threshold with respect to the asymptotic behavior of up, as \({p\rightarrow 1^+}\), in the following sense: when \({h(\Omega) > 1}\), one has \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_{p}\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega)}=0}\), and when \({h(\Omega) < 1}\), one has \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_p\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega)}=\infty}\). In the case \({h(\Omega)=1}\), it is proved that \({\limsup_{p\rightarrow1^+}\left\|u_p\right\|_{L^\infty(\Omega)}<\infty}\). For a radial annulus \({\Omega_{a,b}}\), with inner radius a and outer radius b, it is proved that \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_p\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega_{a,b})}=0}\) when \({h(\Omega_{a,b})=1}\).  相似文献

Let \(\Omega \subset \mathbb {R}^\nu \), \(\nu \ge 2\), be a \(C^{1,1}\) domain whose boundary \(\partial \Omega \) is either compact or behaves suitably at infinity. For \(p\in (1,\infty )\) and \(\alpha >0\), define
$$\begin{aligned} \Lambda (\Omega ,p,\alpha ):=\inf _{\begin{array}{c} u\in W^{1,p}(\Omega )\\ u\not \equiv 0 \end{array}}\dfrac{\displaystyle \int _\Omega |\nabla u|^p \mathrm {d} x - \alpha \displaystyle \int _{\partial \Omega } |u|^p\mathrm {d}\sigma }{\displaystyle \int _\Omega |u|^p\mathrm {d} x}, \end{aligned}$$
where \(\mathrm {d}\sigma \) is the surface measure on \(\partial \Omega \). We show the asymptotics
$$\begin{aligned} \Lambda (\Omega ,p,\alpha )=-(p-1)\alpha ^{\frac{p}{p-1}} - (\nu -1)H_\mathrm {max}\, \alpha + o(\alpha ), \quad \alpha \rightarrow +\infty , \end{aligned}$$
where \(H_\mathrm {max}\) is the maximum mean curvature of \(\partial \Omega \). The asymptotic behavior of the associated minimizers is discussed as well. The estimate is then applied to the study of the best constant in a boundary trace theorem for expanding domains, to the norm estimate for extension operators and to related isoperimetric inequalities.

This paper is concerned with the blow-up of solutions to the following nonlocal p-Laplace equation:
$$u_t-\mathrm{div}(|\nabla{u}|^{p-2}\nabla{u})=|u|^{q-1}u-\frac{1}{|\Omega|} \int\limits_\Omega{|u|^{q-1}u}dx,\quad x\in\Omega,\quad 0 < t < T,$$
under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions in a bounded smooth domain \({\Omega\subset\mathrm{R}^N}\). For all \({p > 2, q > p-1}\), a blow-up result for the solutions to the above equation with positive initial energy is established. This result improves a recent result by Qu and Liang (Abstr Appl Anal 3:551–552, 2013) which asserts the blow-up of solutions for \({p-1 < q\leq\frac{Np}{(N-p)_+}-1}\).

An operator \(S_{\varphi ,\psi }^{u}\in \mathcal {L}(L^2)\) is called the dilation of a truncated Toeplitz operator if for two symbols \(\varphi ,\psi \in L^{\infty }\) and an inner function u,
$$\begin{aligned} S_{\varphi ,\psi }^{u}f=\varphi P_uf+\psi Q_uf \end{aligned}$$
holds for \(f\in {L}^{2}\) where \(P_{u}\) denotes the orthogonal projection of \(L^2\) onto the model space \(\mathcal { K}_{u}^2=H^2{\ominus }{{u}H^2}\) and \(Q_u=I-P_u.\) In this paper, we study properties of the dilation of truncated Toeplitz operators on \(L^{2}\). In particular, we provide conditions for the dilation of truncated Toeplitz operators to be normal. As some applications, we give several examples of such operators.

We consider the strong field asymptotics for the occurrence of zero modes of certain Weyl–Dirac operators on \({\mathbb{R}^3}\). In particular, we are interested in those operators \({\mathcal{D}_B}\) for which the associated magnetic field \({B}\) is given by pulling back a two-form \({\beta}\) from the sphere \({\mathbb{S}^2}\) to \({\mathbb{R}^3}\) using a combination of the Hopf fibration and inverse stereographic projection. If \({\int_{\mathbb{s}^2} \beta \neq 0}\), we show that
$$\sum_{0 \leq t \leq T} {\rm dim Ker} \mathcal{D}{tB}=\frac{T^2}{8\pi^2}\,\Big| \int_{\mathbb{S}^2}\beta\Big|\,\int_{\mathbb{S}^2}|{\beta}| +o(T^2)$$
as \({T\to+\infty}\). The result relies on Erd?s and Solovej’s characterisation of the spectrum of \({\mathcal{D}_{tB}}\) in terms of a family of Dirac operators on \({\mathbb{S}^2}\), together with information about the strong field localisation of the Aharonov–Casher zero modes of the latter.

This paper is mainly about the infiltration equation
$$ {u_{t}}= \operatorname{div} \bigl(a(x)|u|^{\alpha }{ \vert { \nabla u} \vert ^{p-2}}\nabla u\bigr),\quad (x,t) \in \Omega \times (0,T), $$
where \(p>1\), \(\alpha >0\), \(a(x)\in C^{1}(\overline{\Omega })\), \(a(x)\geq 0\) with \(a(x)|_{x\in \partial \Omega }=0\). If there is a constant \(\beta \) such that \(\int_{\Omega }a^{-\beta }(x)dx\leq c\), \(p>1+\frac{1}{\beta }\), then the weak solution is smooth enough to define the trace on the boundary, the stability of the weak solutions can be proved as usual. Meanwhile, if for any \(\beta >\frac{1}{p-1}\), \(\int_{\Omega }a^{-\beta }(x)dxdt=\infty \), then the weak solution lacks the regularity to define the trace on the boundary. The main innovation of this paper is to introduce a new kind of the weak solutions. By these new definitions of the weak solutions, one can study the stability of the weak solutions without any boundary value condition.

We consider the NLS with variable coefficients in dimension \(n\ge 3\)
$$\begin{aligned} i \partial _t u - Lu +f(u)=0, \qquad Lv=\nabla ^{b}\cdot (a(x)\nabla ^{b}v)-c(x)v, \qquad \nabla ^{b}=\nabla +ib(x), \end{aligned}$$
on \(\mathbb {R}^{n}\) or more generally on an exterior domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions, for a gauge invariant, defocusing nonlinearity of power type \(f(u)\simeq |u|^{\gamma -1}u\). We assume that L is a small, long range perturbation of \(\Delta \), plus a potential with a large positive part. The first main result of the paper is a bilinear smoothing (interaction Morawetz) estimate for the solution. As an application, under the conditional assumption that Strichartz estimates are valid for the linear flow \(e^{itL}\), we prove global well posedness in the energy space for subcritical powers \(\gamma <1+\frac{4}{n-2}\), and scattering provided \(\gamma >1+\frac{4}{n}\). When the domain is \(\mathbb {R}^{n}\), by extending the Strichartz estimates due to Tataru (Am J Math 130(3):571–634, 2008), we prove that the conditional assumption is satisfied and deduce well posedness and scattering in the energy space.
