We investigate the Ward identities of theW symmetry in the super-Liouville theory coupled to the super-conformal matter of central charge . The theory is classified into two chiralities. For the positive chirality, all gravitationally dressed scaling operators are generated from theq–1 gravitational primaries by one of the ring generators in the R-sector acting on them repeatedly. After fixing the normalizations of the dressed scaling operators, we find that the Ward identities are expressed in the form of theusual W q algebra constraints as in the bosonic case:W n (k+1) ,=0, (k=1,...,q–1;nZ1–k), where the equations for even and oddn come from the currents in the NS- and the R-sector respectively. The non-linear terms come from the anomalous contributions at the boundaries of moduli space. The negative chirality is defined by interchanging the roles ofp andq. We use the generalized Tsallis entropy S v(q = (1 –( w i=1 p q i )/(q – 1) to studythe information measurement in position and momentum space for simple quantummechanical systems. We consider here the hydrogen atom in three dimensions andthe D-dimensional harmonic oscillator to calculate the position and momentumentropies analytically for ground and excited states which involve classicalorthognal polynomials. In both the cases we verify the generalized entropicuncertainty relation and pseudoadditivity relation. We also study the effect ofscreening on the entropies. We compare the present results with the correspondingresults of the Shannon formalism.  相似文献

A dispersion representation for the static energy-density correlation function 2 (q) 2(–q) c =C(q,T)=A+Bt h(z 2), wherez=q , t=(T—T)c/T c and is the correlation length, is discussed.h(z 2) is calculated to order 2 in the zero-field critical region (T>T c) for the standard isotropicn-component 4Ginzburg-Landau-Wilson model. Utilizing a procedure similar to that introduced by Bray for the two-point correlation function, the-expansion results are used in conjunction with an approximant for the spectral functionF(z/2) Imh(—z 2) based on the asymptotically exact short-distance expansion resulth –1(z 2)z /v[D 0+D 1 z –(1 —)/v +D 2 z –1/v ] to predict quantitatively the full momentum dependence ofC(q,T) forT>T c. In contrast to the two-point correlation function,C(q,T) is found to be a monotonic function as the critical temperature is approached at fixedq (forT>T c).  相似文献

We obtain a bijection between certain lattice paths and partitions. This implies a proof of polynomial identities conjectured by Melzer. In a limit, these identities reduce to Rogers-Ramanujantype identities for the 1,1 (p,p+1) (q) Virasoro characters, conjectured by the Stony Brook group.  相似文献

Information processing in nonlinear neural networks with a finite numberq of stored patterns is studied. Each network is characterized completely by its synaptic kernelQ. At low temperatures, the nonlinearity typically results in 2q–2q metastable, pure states in addition to theq retrieval states that are associated with theq stored patterns. These spurious states start appearing at a temperature , which depends onq. We give sufficient conditions to guarantee that the retrieval states bifurcate first at a critical temperatureT c and that /T c 0 asq. Hence, there is a large temperature range whereonly the retrieval states and certain symmetric mixtures thereof exist. The latter are unstable, as they appear atT c . For clipped synapses, the bifurcation and stability structure is analyzed in detail and shown to approach that of the (linear) Hopfield model asq. We also investigate memories that forget and indicate how forgetfulness can be explained in terms of the eigenvalue spectrum of the synaptic kernelQ.  相似文献

We obtain positive-energy irreducible representations of theq-deformed anti de Sitter algebraU q (so(3, 2)) by deformation of the classical ones. When the deformation parameterq isN-th root of unity, all these irreducible representations become unitary and finite-dimensional. Generically, their dimensions are smaller than those of the corresponding finite-dimensional non-unitary representations ofso(3, 2). We discuss in detail the singleton representations, i.e. the Di and Rac. WhenN is odd, the Di has dimension 1/2(N 2–1) and the Rac has dimension 1/2(N 2+1), while ifN is even, both the Di and Rac have dimension 1/2N 2. We consider the problem of constructing a cyclicL-operator associated with a 3-stateR-matrix related to theU q (sl(3)) algebra atq N =1. This problem is reduced to the construction of a cyclic (i.e. with no highest weight vector) representation of some twelve generating element algebra, which generalizes theU q (sl(3)) algebra. We found such representation acting inC N C N C N . The necessary conditions of the existence of the intertwining operator for two representations are also discussed.  相似文献

This article is a study of the mapping from a potentialq(x) onR 3 to the backscattering amplitude associated with the Hamiltonian –+q(x). The backscattering amplitude is the restriction of the scattering amplitudea(, , k), (, , k)S 2×S 2×+, toa(,–, k). We show that in suitable (complex) Banach spaces the map fromq(x) toa(x/|x|, –x/|x|, |x|) is usually a local diffeomorphism. Hence in contrast to the overdetermined problem of recoveringq from the full scattering amplitude the inverse backscattering problem is well posed.  相似文献

It is shown that the elliptic algebra at the critical level c = –2 has a multidimensional center containing some trace-like operators t(z). A family of Poisson structures indexed by a non-negative integer and containing the q-deformed Virasoro algebra is constructed on this center. We show also that t(z) close an exchange algebra when p m = q c+2 for , they commute when in addition p = q 2k for k integer non-zero, and they belong to the center of when k is odd. The Poisson structures obtained for t(z) in these classical limits contain the q-deformed Virasoro algebra, characterizing the structures at p q 2k as new algebras.  相似文献

The Bianchi identities for theP(4)=O(1, 3) 4* theory of gravitation and electromagnetism are decomposed into the standardO(1, 3) Riemannian Bianchi identity plus an additional 4* component. When combined with the Einstein-Maxwell affine field equations the 4* components of theP(4) Bianchi identities imply conservation of magnetic charge and the wave equation for the Maxwell field strength tensor. These results are analyzed in light of the special geometrical postulates of theP(4) theory. We show that our development is the analog of the manner in which the Riemannian Bianchi identities, when combined with Einstein's field equations, imply conservation of stress-energy-momentum and the wave equation for the LanczosH-tensor.  相似文献

We show that theq-Weyl coefficients of the quantum algebraSU q (3) are equal to theq-Racah coefficients of the quantum algebraSU q (2) (up to a simple phase factor). We consider quantum deformations of the real symplectic (or anti-De Sitter) algebra sp(4), spin(3, 2) and of its singleton and (4-dimensional) zero-mass representations. For q a root of –1, these representations admit finite-dimensional unitary subrepresentations. Using the Bailey flow construction, we derive character identities for the N=1 superconformal models SM(p′,2p+p′) and SM(p′,3p′−2p), and the N=2 superconformal model with central charge c=3 from the nonunitary minimal models M(p,p′). We study the antiferromagnetic q-state Potts model on the square lattice for q=3 and q=4, using the Wang–Swendsen–Kotecký (WSK) Monte Carlo algorithm and a powerful finite-size-scaling extrapolation method. For q=3 we obtain good control up to correlation length 5000; the data are consistent with ()=Ae 2 p (1+a 1 e + ...) as , with p1. The staggered susceptibility behaves as stagg 5/3. For q=4 the model is disordered (2) even at zero temperature. In appendices we prove a correlation inequality for Potts antiferromagnets on a bipartite lattice, and we prove ergodicity of the WSK algorithm at zero temperature for Potts antiferromagnets on a bipartite lattice.  相似文献

The elliptic algebra A q,p {sl}(N c) at the critical level c = –N has an extended center containing trace-like operators t(z). Families of Poisson structures, defining q-deformations of the W N algebra, are constructed. The operators t(z) also close an exchange algebra when (–p 1/2) NM = q –c–N for M . It becomes Abelian when in addition p = q Nh where h is a non-zero integer. The Poisson structures obtained in these classical limits contain different q-deformed W N algebras depending on the parity of h, characterizing the exchange structures at p q Nh as new W q,p(sl(N)) algebras.  相似文献
