We motivate the definition of the Einstein 3-form G by means of the contracted 2nd Bianchi identity. This definition contains the whole curvature 2-form. The L 1-form, defined via G = L *( ) ( is the Hodge-star, the coframe), is equivalent to the Einstein 3-form and contains all the information of the curvature 2-form relevant for the definition of the Einstein 3-form. A variational formula of Salgado on quadratic invariants of the L 1-form is discussed, generalized, and put into proper perspective.  相似文献

For the radial Schrödinger equation with a potentialq(x) decreasing at infinity asq 0 q , (0, 2), the low energy asymptotics of spectral and scattering data is found. In particular, it is shown that forq 0>0 the spectral function vanishes exponentially as the energyk 2 tends to zero. On the contrary, there is always a zero-energy resonance forq 0<0. These results determine the local asymptotics of solutions of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for large timest. Specifically, for positive potentials its solutions decay as exp(–0 t (2–)/(2+), 0>0,t. In the case (1, 2) it is shown that for ±q 0>0 the phase shift tends to ± ask0 and its asymptotics is evaluated.  相似文献

For automorphism groups of operator algebras we show how properties of the difference t – ' t are reflected in relations between the generators , . Indeed for a von Neumann algebraM with separable predual we show that if t – 't 0.28 for smallt, then = 0(+)°-1 where is an inner automorphism ofM and is a bounded derivation ofM. If the difference t – ' t =O(t) ast ; 0, then = + and if t – ' t 0.28 for allt then =. Let us consider a Lie (super)algebra G spanned by T where T are quantum observables in BV formalism. It is proved that for every tensor c... that determines a homology class of the Lie algebra G the expression c...T...T is again a quantum observable. This theorem is used to construct quantum observables in the BV sigma model. We apply this construction to explain Kontsevich's results about the relation between homology of the Lie algebra of Hamiltonian vector fields and topological invariants of manifolds.  相似文献

Using the finite cluster approximation we study a mixed spin model with random interactions on a ferrimagnetic square lattice (with spins =1/2 andS=1). The interactions are assumed to be independent random variables with distribution,P(K ij )=p(K ij K)+(1–p) (K ij K), whereK>0 and ||1. In a certain range of negative values of the phase diagrams exhibit re-entrant behaviour. Using a focussing crystal spectrometer with photoelectric registration theK-emission spectrum of fluorine in solid lithium fluoride (=18.3 Å) was studied. If the spectrum is excited by Co or CuL-radiation or bremsstrahlung of a W-target the satellitesK 3 andK 4 appear with considerable intensity, whereas they appear only faintly ifL-radiation of Fe is used for excitation. In agreement with these observations the calculated threshold energies of the satellites are near the photon energy of FeL 1, 2. The measured energies of the components agree with values obtained from the energies of the singly and doubly ionized F ion as calculated by means of optical data. The results show that the satellitesK 3 andK 4 in the spectrum of fluorine in solid LiF correspond to transitions in the doubly ionized F-ion.  相似文献

Calculations of internal conversion coefficients (ICC) of the E1–E4 and M1–M4 transitions for nuclei in ions show that the relative changes i / i of the ICC i for deep inner subshells can differ significantly from the relative changes i/i of the electron densities i at the nucleus. For the K conversion i/ i are many times greater than i/i. Especially large deviations of i/ i are characteristic of transitions of high multipolarity; however, for the M1 transitions they can also be significant. Illustrations of various dependencies of i/ iare presented for the conversion in the regionZ-50.  相似文献

The algebra is realized as the Clifford algebra over a Hilbert space. The equations of motion are specified by a formal Hamiltonian of the Heisenberg form: , wheref ij 0 and only a finite numberQ of ions are linked to any given lattice site. We prove that the Hamiltonian is non-negative in a representation of , and has a ground state exhibiting ferromagnetism. The time displacement group acts continuously on , inducing automorphisms. is asymptotically abelian with respect to the space translations of the lattice.The model is an example of an algebraic quantum field theory and possesses a broken symmetry, the rotation group 0(3). The statistical properties of a parametric amplifier and a frequency converter are studied by means of quantum mechanical methods. The Schrödinger picture and the P-representation of the density matrix are used. Carrying out the Fourier transformation of the Liouville equation a partial differential equation for a generating function is obtained. The inverse Fourier transform of a solution of this equation is a time-dependent P-representationPN( 1, 2,t). We study perturbative QCD at the five-loop level. In particular we considerR = tot(e + e hadrons)/(e + e + ) andR = ( v+hadrons)/( ev). We use our method to estimate the five-loop coefficients. As a result, we obtain s (M z ) = 0.1186(11) and s (34 GeV) = 0.1396(16), which are accurate at the 1% level. We also findR = 3.8350(18), which is consistent withR and is accurate to 0.05%.  相似文献

The relation between relaxation timeT, frequency swept resonance linewidth , and phenomenological damping is given by =2/T=(x+y), where x,y = (H 0+(N x,y –N z ) 4M s ).N x,y,z are sample demagnetizing factors,H 0 is the effectivez-directed static field, 4M s is the saturation induction, and is the gyromagnetic ratio. This fairly simple but general relation shows that the numerical relation between damping and relaxation at a given frequency can be quite different for in-plane and normally magnetized thin films. For thesame loss processes, so thatT andT are equal, is larger than . For permalloy films at 1 GHz, =15 . In addition, the conventional field swept linewidth, H=/, is simply related to only forN x =N y . Both and H are geometry dependent and do not provide an intrinsic measure of the relaxation. These results are confirmed by both resonance and transient response experiments. Also, if the latter ps is suitably close to the former ps, then the spectrum in the second case approximates, to an arbitrary, degree of accuracy, the limit spectrum. It is shown how one may thereby have 1/f noise with low-frequency turnover, and also strict 1/f 1– noise (the latter spectrum being integrable for > 0). Suitable examples are given. We present upper bounds on the critical temperature of one-dimensional Ising models with long-range,l/n interactions, where 1<2. In particular for the often studied case of =2 we have an upper bound onT c which is less than theT c found by a number of approximation techniques. We consider the problem of directed polymers in a random medium of a finitedimensional lattice. In the high-temperature phase of this system it is known that the annealed and quenched free energies coincide. Upper bounds on the transition temperature to a low-temperature phase had previously been obtained by calculating the first two moments Z and Z2 of the partition function.
