A boundary value problem for the Lame operator in a bounded three-dimensional domain with a small cavity is studied. The domain is filled with an elastic homogeneous isotropic medium that is clamped at the boundary, which corresponds to the Dirichlet boundary condition. The leading term of an asymptotic expansion for the eigenvalue is constructed in the case of the Dirichlet limit problem. The asymptotic expansion is constructed in powers of a small parameter ? that is the diameter of the cavity.  相似文献

The three dimensional interface problem is considered with the homogeneous Lamé system in an unbounded exterior domain and some quasistatic nonlinear elastic material behavior in a bounded interior Lipschitz domain. The nonlinear material is of the Mooney-Rivlin type of polyconvex materials. We give a weak formulation of the interface problem based on minimizing the energy, and rewrite it in terms of boundary integral operators. Then, we prove existence of solutions.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we consider an inverse problem for the simultaneous diffusion process of elastic and electromagnetic waves in an isotropic heterogeneous elastic body which is identified with an open bounded domain. From the mathematical point of view, the system under consideration can be viewed as the coupling between the hyperbolic system of elastic waves and a parabolic system for the magnetic field. We study an inverse problem of determining the external source terms by observations data in a neighborhood of the boundary and we prove the Hölder stability. For the proof, we show a Carleman estimate for the displacement and the magnetic field of the magnetoelastic system.  相似文献

The exterior boundary value problems of Laplace equation and linear elastic equations are considered. A series of approximate infinite boundary conditions are given. Then the original problem is reduced to a boundary value problem on a bounded domain. The finite element approximation of this problem and its error estimate are obtained. The inertial motion of a material point is analyzed in a plane domain bounded by two curves that are coaxial segments of an ellipse. The collisions of the point with the boundary curves are assumed to be absolutely elastic. There exists a periodic motion of the point that is described by a two-link trajectory lying on a straight line segment passed twice within the period. This segment is orthogonal to both boundary curves at its endpoints. The nonlinear problem of stability of this trajectory is analyzed. The stability and instability conditions are obtained for almost all values of two dimensionless parameters of the problem.  相似文献

This work presents an approximation method for Navier-Stokes equations around a rotating obstacle. The detail of this method is that the exterior domain is truncated into a bounded domain and a new exterior domain by introducing a large ball. The approximation problem is composed of the nonlinear problem in the bounded domain and the linear problem in the new exterior domain. We derive the approximation error between the solutions of Navier-Stokes equations and the approximation problem.  相似文献

An optimal shape design problem of an elastic body described by a system of two nonlinear elliptic equations is considered. The problem is to find the boundary of the domain occupied by the body in such a way that the stiffnes of the system in the equilibrium state is minimized.

A numerical-analytic solution is constructed for the problem of magnetoelasticity for a hollow cylinder immersed in a liquid and loaded from inside by an impulse-type axisymmetric mechanical pressure. Nonconducting and compressible internal and external media have different densities and elastic moduli, with their motion described by wave equations. The hollow cylinder is assumed to be an ideal conductor, and its motion is described by a linearized system of equations of magnetoelasticity; on internal and external boundaries, the conditions of conjugation hold. The problem is solved by the method of integral Laplace transforms in the time domain, and the inverse transforms are found by numerical inversion. The first three-dimensional boundary value problem is considered for the basic equations of statics of the elastic mixture theory in the finite and infinite domains bounded by the closed surfaces. It is proved that this problem splits into two problems whose investigation is reduced to the first boundary value problem for an elliptic equation which structurally coincides with an equation of statics of an isotropic elastic body. Using the potential method and the theory of Fredholm integral equations of second kind, the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the first boundary value problem is proved for the split equation.  相似文献

The contact problem for an arbitrary punch acting on a transversely isotropic elastic layer bonded to a rigid foundation is solved by the generalized images method developed by the author earlier. The problem is reduced to that of an electrostatic problem of infinite row of coaxial charged disks in the shape of the domain of contact. The solution can be obtained by the method of iteration, collocations or any other standard procedure for solving integral equations. Exact inversion can be obtained in the case of a circular domain of contact. The mean value theorem can be used for estimation of the resultant force and tilting moment acting on a punch of arbitrary shape and circular domain of contact. This paper is concerned with the direct and inverse scattering problems in fluid-structure interaction. The scattering problem in the fluid-structure interaction can be simply described as follows: an acoustic wave propagates in the fluid domain of infinite extent where a bounded elastic body is immersed. The direct problem is to determine the scattered pressure and velocity fields in the fluid domain as well as the displacement fields in the elastic body, while the inverse problem is to reconstruct the shape of the elastic scatterer from a knowledge of the far field pattern of the fluid pressure or from the measured scattered fluid pressure field. As is well known, the inverse problems are generally nonlinear and highly ill-posed. For treating inverse problem of this kind, we reformulate the problem as a nonlinear optimization problem including special regularization terms. The precise formulation of the nonlinear objective functional will depend on the approaches of the direct problem. In this paper, the direct problem is reformulated by introducing an artificial boundary and the corresponding inverse problem will be analyzed. In this paper, we give the Silov boundary for an analytic family on a bounded strictly pseudoconvex domain or an analytic polyhedron in Cn, and get a necessary and sufficient condition for a generalized Dirichlet problem to be solvable for an analytic family on a bounded holomorphic domain. Especially, we derive that this condition is just that the continuous real boundary value is prescribed on and only on the Silov boundary for an analytic family on a bounded strictly pseudoconvex domain or an analytic polyhedron.  相似文献

The problem of the bending of an isotropic elastic plate, bounded by two convex polygons is considered. It is assumed that the internal boundary of the plate is simply supported and normal bending moments act on each section of the external contour in such a way that the angle of rotation of the middle surface of the plate is a piecewise-constant function. With respect to the complex potentials, which express the bendings of the middle surface (Goursat's formula), the problem is reduced to a Riemann-Hilbert boundary-value problem for a circular ring, the solution of which is constructed in analytic form. A model problem is considered for the Poisson equation in a two-dimensional domain with a cut. The Dirichlet and Neumann conditions are imposed on the exterior boundary of the domain together with the nonnegativity condition for the jump across the edges of the cut. In addition, the absolute value of the gradient inside the domain must be bounded by some constant. The boundary value problem turns into a variational problem, and the unknown function must yield the minimum of the energy functional on some convex set. After discretization of the problem by the finite element method, an Uzawa-type algorithm is used to find a solution. Some examples are included of solving the discrete problem.  相似文献
