Primary amine-gallane adducts, RH(2)N.GaH(3)[R = Me (1) and (t)Bu (2)], have been isolated for the first time from the reaction of [RNH(3)]Cl with LiGaH(4) in Et(2)O solution at ca. 273 K and characterised by their vibrational and (1)H NMR spectra. The structures of single crystals, grown at low temperatures and determined by X-ray diffraction, reveal pseudo-polymeric arrays of RH(2)N.GaH(3) molecules with Ga-N distances of 2.0424(18) and 2.058(5)A for 1 and 2, respectively. The adducts decompose at or near ambient temperatures with the elimination of H(2) and formation of the corresponding monoalkylamido derivative [RHNGaH(2)](n). The crystal structures of these at 150 K consist of either [MeHNGaH(2)](3) molecules with a "skew-boat" conformation for the cyclic Ga(3)N(3) skeleton (3) or [(t)BuHNGaH(2)](2) molecules with a four-membered Ga(2)N(2) core (4), with Ga-N distances averaging 1.986(8) and 1.991(3)A for 3 and 4, respectively. The crystalline solids 1, 3 and 4 feature intermolecular N-H...H-Ga interactions with H...H distances estimated to fall in the range 2.1-2.3 A. The significance of these is discussed.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, and properties of several new organogallium(I) compounds are reported. The monovalent compounds GaAr* (Ar* = C(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2), Trip = C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-Pr(i)()(3), 1), GaAr# (Ar# = C(6)H(3)-2,6(Bu(t)Dipp)(2), Bu(t)Dipp = C(6)H(2)-2,6-Pr(i)(2)-4-Bu(t)(), 4), and the dimeric (GaAr')(2) (Ar' = C(6)H(3)-2,6-Dipp(2), Dipp = C(6)H(3)-2,6-Pr(i)(2), 6) were synthesized by the reaction of "GaI" with (Et(2)O)LiAr*, (Et(2)O)LiAr# (3), or (LiAr')(2). Compounds 1 and 4 were isolated as green crystals, whereas 6 was obtained as a brown-red crystalline solid. All three compounds dissolved in hydrocarbon solvents to give green solutions and almost identical UV/visible spectra. Cryoscopy of 1 and 6 showed that they were monomeric in cyclohexane. Crystals of 1 and 4 were unsuitable for X-ray crystal structure determinations, but an X-ray data set for 6 showed that it was weakly dimerized in the solid with a long Ga-Ga bond of 2.6268(7) A and a trans-bent CGaGaC core array. The 1,2-diiodo-1,2-diaryldigallane compounds [Ga(Ar*)I](2) (2), [Ga(Ar#)I](2) (5), and [Ga(Ar')I](2) (7) were isolated as byproducts of the synthesis of 1, 4, and 6. The crystal structures of 2 and 7 showed that they had planar ICGaGaCI core arrays with Ga-Ga distances near 2.49 A, consistent with Ga-Ga single bonding. Treatment of 1, 4, and 6 with B(C(6)F(5))(3) immediately afforded the 1:1 donor-acceptor complexes ArGa[B(C(6)F(5))(3)] (Ar = Ar*, 8; Ar#, 9; Ar', 10) that featured almost linear gallium coordination, Ga-B distances near the sum of the covalent radii of gallium and boron, as well as some close Ga...F contacts. Compound 1 also reacted with Fe(CO)(5) under ambient conditions to give Ar*GaFe(CO)(4) (11), which had been previously synthesized by the reaction of GaAr*Cl(2) with Na(2)Fe(CO)(4). Reaction of 1 with 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene afforded the compound [Ar*GaCH(2)C(Me)C(Me)CH(2)]2 (12) that had a 10-membered 1,5-Ga(2)C(8) ring with no Ga-Ga interaction. Stirring 1 or 6 with sodium readily gave Na(2)[Ar*GaGaAr*] (13) and Na(2)(Ar'GaGaAr') (14). The former species 13 had been synthesized previously by reduction of GaAr*Cl(2) with sodium and was described as having a Ga-Ga triple bond because of the short Ga-Ga distance and the electronic relationship between [Ar*GaGaAr*](2-) and the corresponding neutral group 14 alkyne analogues. Compound 14 has a similar structure featuring a trans-bent CGaGaC core, bridged by sodiums which were also coordinated to the flanking aryl rings of the Ar' ligands. The Ga-Ga bond length was found to be 2.347(1) A, which is slightly (ca. 0.02 A) longer than that reported for 13. Reaction of Ga[N(Dipp)C(Me)](2)CH, 15 (i.e., GaN(wedge)NDipp(2)), which is sterically related to 1, 4, and 6, with Fe(CO)(5) yielded Dipp(2)N(wedge)NGaFe(CO)(4) (16), whose Ga-Fe bond is slightly longer than that observed in 11. Reaction of the less bulky LiAr"(Ar"= C(6)H(3)-2,6-Mes(2)) with "GaI" afforded the new paramagnetic cluster Ga(11)Ar(4)" (17). The ready dissociation of 1, 4, and 6 in solution, the long Ga-Ga distance in 6, and the chemistry of these compounds showed that the Ga-Ga bonds are significantly weaker than single bonds. The reduction of 1 and 6 with sodium to give 13 and 14 supplies two electrons to the di-gallium unit to generate a single bond (in addition to the weak interaction in the neutral precursor) with retention of the trans-bent geometry. It was concluded that the stability of 13 and 14 depends on the matching size of the sodium ion, and the presence of Na-Ga and Na-Ar interactions that stabilize their Na(2)Ga(2) core structures.

Two novel compounds, [Co(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](4-abs)(2).H(2)O (1) and [Mn(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](4-abs)(2).2H(2)O (2) (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine; 4-abs = 4-aminobenzenesulfonate), have been synthesized in aqueous solution and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, UV-vis and IR spectra, and TG analysis. X-ray structural analysis revealed that 1 and 2 both possess unusual hydrogen-bonded three-dimensional (3-D) networks encapsulating one-dimensional (1-D) covalently bonded infinite [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](2+) (M = Co, Mn) chains. The 4-abs anions in 1 form 1-D zigzag chains through hydrogen bonds. These chains are further extended through crystallization water molecules into 3-D hydrogen-bonded networks with 1-D channels, in which the [Co(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](2+) linear covalently bonded chains are located. Crystal data for 1: C(22)H(30)CoN(4)O(11)S(2), monoclinic P2(1), a = 11.380(2) A, b = 8.0274(16) A, c = 15.670(3) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 92.82(3) degrees, Z = 2. Compound 2 contains interesting two-dimensional (2-D) honeycomb-like networks formed by 4-abs anions and lattice water molecules via hydrogen bonding, which are extended through other crystallization water molecules into three dimensions with 1-D hexagonal channels. The [Mn(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(4)](2+) linear covalent chains exist in these channels. Crystal data for 2: C(22)H(32)MnN(4)O(12)S(2), monoclinic P2(1)/c, a = 15.0833(14) A, b = 8.2887(4) A, c = 23.2228(15) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 95.186(3) degrees, Z = 4.  相似文献

New copper(II) intercalation compounds, {[Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](G)}(n)() (H(2)CA = chloranilic acid; G = 2,5-dimethylpyrazine (dmpyz) (1a and 1b) and phenazine (phz) (2)) have been synthesized and characterized. 1acrystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.028(2) ?, b = 10.269(1) ?, c = 4.780(2) ?, alpha = 93.85(3) degrees, beta = 101.01(2) degrees, gamma = 90.04(3) degrees, and Z = 1. 1b crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.010(1) ?, b = 10.117(1) ?, c = 5.162(1) ?, alpha = 94.40(1) degrees, beta = 97.49(1) degrees, gamma = 112.64(1) degrees, and Z = 1. 2crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.071(1) ?, b = 11.266(1) ?, c = 4.991(1) ?, alpha = 97.80(1) degrees, beta = 99.58(1) degrees, gamma = 83.02(1) degrees, and Z = 1. For all the compounds, the crystal structures consist of one dimensional [Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](m)() chains and uncoordinated guest molecules (G). Each copper atom for 1a, 1b, and 2 displays a six-coordinate geometry with the two bis-chelating CA(2)(-) anions and water molecules, providing an infinite, nearly coplanar linear chains running along the a-direction. Theses chains are linked by hydrogen bonds between the coordinated water and the oxygen atoms of CA(2)(-) on the adjacent chain, forming extended layers, which spread out along the ac-plane. The guest molecules are intercalated in between the {[Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](k)()}(l)() layers, just like pillars, which are supported with N.H(2)O hydrogen bonding. The guest molecules are stacked each other with an interplanar distance of ca. 3.2 ? along the c-axis perpendicular to the [Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](m)() chain. The EHMO band calculations of intercalated dmpyz and phz columns show an appreciable band dispersion of phz pi (b(2g) and b(3g)) and dmpyz pi (b(g)), indicative of the importance of planar pi structure for the formation of the intercalated structure. The distances of O-H---N (guest molecules) fall within the range 2.74-2.80 ?, insensitive to the guest, whereas the interlayer distances increase in the order 9.25 ? (1b), 10.24 ? (1a), and 11.03 ? (2). The degree in lengthening the distance correlates well with the size of a molecule, indicative of the stability of the 2-D sheet structure and the flexibility of the sheet packing. The magnetic susceptibilities were measured from 2 to 300 K and analyzed by a one-dimensional Heisenberg-exchange model to yield J = -1.83 cm(-)(1), g = 2.18 (1a), J = -0.39 cm(-)(1), g = 2.14 (1b), and J = -1.84 cm(-)(1), g = 2.18 (2). The absolute value of J is smaller than that value for [Cu(CA)](n)(), which has a planar ribbon structure suggesting that the magnetic orbital d(x)()()2(-)(y)()()2 is not parallel to the chloranilate plane. For comparison with phz another type of copper(II) coordination compound, {[Cu(CA)(H(2)O)](ohphz)}(n)() (ohphz = 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9-octahydrophenazine (7)) has also been obtained. 7 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Cmcm with a = 7.601(2) ?, b = 13.884(2) ?, c = 17.676(4) ?, and Z = 4. Nonplanar ohphz molecules are in between [Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](m)() chains with the N.H(2)O hydrogen bonding in a fashion parallel to the chain direction. The copper atom shows a five-coordinate square-pyramidal configuration with two CA and one water molecule, thus affording no hydrogen bonding links between chains, dissimilar to 1a, 1b, and 2. The magnetic susceptibilities yield J = -10.93 cm(-)(1) and g = 2.00, comparable to that of the four-coordinate [Cu(CA)](n)(). On this basis both hydrogen bonding and stack capability of a guest molecule is responsible for building the unique intercalated structure such as is seen in 1a, 1b, and 2.  相似文献

beta-[SiW(12)O(40)](4)(-) (C(3)(v) symmetry) is sufficiently higher in energy than its alpha-isomer analogue that effectively complete conversion to alpha-[SiW(12)O(40)](4)(-) (T(d)) is observed. By contrast, beta- and alpha-[AlW(12)O(40)](5)(-) (beta- and alpha-1; C(3)(v) and T(d), respectively) are sufficiently close in energy that both isomers are readily seen in (27)Al NMR spectra of equilibrated (alpha-beta) mixtures. Recently published DFT calculations ascribe the stability of beta-1 to an electronic effect of the large, electron-donating [AlO(4)](5)(-) (T(d)) moiety encapsulated within the polarizable, fixed-diameter beta-W(12)O(36) (C(3)(v)) shell. Hence, no unique structural distortion of beta-1 is needed or invoked to explain its unprecedented stability. The results of these DFT calculations are confirmed by detailed comparison of the X-ray crystal structure of beta-1 (beta-Cs(4.5)K(0.5)[Al(III)W(12)O(40)].7.5H(2)O; orthorhombic, space group Pmc2(1), a = 16.0441(10) A, b = 13.2270(8) A, c = 20.5919(13) A, Z = 4 (T = 100(2) K)) with previously reported structures of alpha-1, alpha- and beta-[SiW(12)O(40)](4)(-), and beta(1)-[SiMoW(11)O(40)](4)(-).  相似文献

Various products of the reaction of [E(ddp)] (ddp=2-{(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)amino}-4-{(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imino}-2-pentene; E=Al, Ga) with Pt(0) and Pd(0) olefin complexes are reported. Thus, the reaction of [Pt(cod)(2)] (cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene) with two equivalents of [Ga(ddp)] yields [Pt(1,3-cod){Ga(ddp)}(2)] (1), whereas treatment of [Pd(2)(dvds)(3)] (dvds=1,1,3,3-tetramethyl1,3-divinyldisiloxane) with [E(ddp)] leads to the monomeric compounds [(dvds)Pd{E(ddp)}] (E=Ga (2 a), Al (2 b)) by substitution of the bridging dvds ligand. Both 1 and 2 a readily react with strong pi-acceptor ligands such as CO or tBuNC to give the dimeric compounds [M{mu(2)-Ga(ddp)}(L)] (L=CO, tBuNC; M=Pt (3 a, 5 a), Pd (3 b, 5 b)), respectively. Based on (1)H NMR spectroscopic data, [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(CO)] is likely to be an intermediate in the formation of 3 a. Furthermore, reactions of 1 with H(2) and HSiEt(3) yield the monomeric compounds [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(H)(2)] (7) and [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(H)(SiEt(3))] (8). Finally, the reaction of [Pt(cod)(2)] with one equivalent of [Ga(ddp)] in the presence of H(2) in hexane gives the new dimeric cluster [Pt{mu(2)-Ga(ddp)}(H)(2)](2) (9).  相似文献

The reactions of Ga(CH(2)CH(3))(3) with variable amounts of elemental sulfur, S(8), in toluene or benzene at different temperatures result in the insertion of sulfur into the Ga-C bonds to form the compounds Ga[(S-S)CH(2)CH(3)](3) (I) and Ga[(S-S-S)CH(2)CH(3)](3) (II). Compound I was isolated from the reaction at low temperature while at room temperature; compound II was the major product. Compound II exhibited the maximum extent of sulfur insertion even when the reactions were carried out with more than 9.0 equiv of sulfur. The reactions of Ga(CH(3))(3) with various amounts of sulfur in toluene or benzene only result in the formation of compound III, Ga[(S-S)CH(3)](3). In pyridine at -30 degrees C, deinsertion of the sulfur atoms from Ga-S-S-C bonds was observed for the first time from compounds I and III resulting in formation of the six-membered Ga-S ring compounds IV, [PyEtGaS](3), and V, [PyMeGaS](3), respectively. Compounds IV and V were characterized by (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, elemental analyses, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound IV crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with a = 9.288(2) ?, b = 14.966(2) ?, c = 19.588(3) ?, beta = 90.690(10) degrees, and Z = 4. Compound V crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 10.385(1) ?, b = 15.300(2) ?, c = 15.949(2) ?, beta = 107.01(1) degrees, Z = 4, unit cell volume = 2423.5(5) ?(3), R = 0.030, and R(w) = 0.026. The sulfur insertion reaction pathway was investigated by time-dependent and variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Resonance Raman spectra of the cubic metal-halide complexes having the general formula [M(6)X(8)Y(6)](2)(-) (M = Mo or W; X, Y = Cl, Br, or I) are reported. The three totally symmetric fundamental vibrations of these complexes are identified. The extensive mixing of the symmetry coordinates that compose the symmetric normal modes expected in these systems is not observed. Instead the "group-frequency" approximation is valid. Furthermore, the force constants of both the apical and face-bridging metal-halide bonds are insensitive to the identity of either the metal or the halide. Raman spectra of related complexes with methoxy and benzenethiol groups as ligands are reported along with the structural data for [Mo(6)Cl(8)(SPh)(6)][NBu(4)](2). Crystal data for [Mo(6)Cl(8)(SPh)(6)][NBu(4)](2) at -156 degrees C: monoclinic space group P2(1)/c; a = 12.588(3), b = 17.471(5), c = 20.646(2) ?; beta = 118.53(1) degrees, V = 3223.4 ?(3); d(calcd) = 1.664 g cm(-)(3); Z = 2.  相似文献

As part of our ongoing project involving the study of (1-C(n)H(2n+1)NH(3))(2)MCl(4)(s) (where M is a divalent metal ion and n = 8-18), we have synthesized the compounds (1-C(n)H(2n+1)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s) (n = 8, 10, 12, and 13), and the details of the structures are reported herein. All of the compounds were crystallized in the monoclinic form with the space group P2(1)/n for (1-C(8)H(17)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s), P21/c for (1-C(10)H(21)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s), P2(1)/c for (1-C(12)H(25)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s), and P2(1)/m for (1-C(13)H(27)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s). The lattice potential energies and ionic volumes of the cations and the common anion of the title compounds were obtained from crystallographic data. Molar enthalpies of dissolution of the four compounds at various molalities were measured at 298.15 K in the double-distilled water. According to Pitzer's theory, molar enthalpies of dissolution of the title compounds at infinite dilution were obtained. Finally, using the values of molar enthalpies of dissolution at infinite dilution (Δ(s)H(m)(∞)) and other auxiliary thermodynamic data, the enthalpy change of the dissociation of [ZnCl(4)](2-)(g) for the reaction [ZnCl(4)](2-)(g)→ Zn(2+)(g) + 4Cl(-)(g) was obtained, and then the hydration enthalpies of cations were calculated by designing a thermochemical cycle.  相似文献

The twelve quaternary rare-earth selenides Ba(2)MLnSe5 (M = Ga, In; Ln = Y, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er) have been synthesized for the first time. The compounds Ba(2)GaLnSe(5) (Ln = Y, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er) are isostructural and crystallize in a new structure type in the centrosymmetric space group P ?1 of the triclinic system while the isostructural compounds Ba(2)InLnSe(5) (Ln = Y, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er) belong to the Ba(2)BiInS(5) structure type and crystallize in the noncentrosymmetric space group Cmc2(1) of the orthorhombic system. The structures contain infinite one-dimensional anionic chains (1)(∞)[GaLnSe(5)](4-) and (1)(∞)[InLnSe(5)](4-), and both chains are built from LnSe(6) octahedra and MSe(4) (M = Ga, In) tetrahedra in the corresponding selenides. As deduced from the diffuse reflectance spectra, the band gaps of most Ba(2)MLnSe(5) (M = Ga, In; Ln = Y, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er) compounds are around 2.2 eV. The magnetic susceptibility measurements on Ba(2)GaGdSe(5) and Ba(2)InLnSe(5) (Ln = Nd, Gd, Dy, Er) indicate that they are paramagnetic and obey the Curie-Weiss law, while the magnetic susceptibility of Ba(2)InSmSe(5) deviates from the Curie-Weiss law as a result of the crystal field splitting. Furthermore, Ba(2)InYSe(5) exhibits a strong second harmonic generation response close to that of AgGaSe(2), when probed with the 2090 nm laser as fundamental wavelength.  相似文献

The new pro-ligand 4-methyl-4'-(carbonylamino(2-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)ethyl))-2,2'-bipyridyl (L1) has been prepared and used to synthesise the complex fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3(L1) 1 and the complex salts [M(II)(bipy)2(L1)](PF6)2 (M=RuII 8 or OsII 15). Deprotection with trifluoroacetic acid affords the amine-functionalised derivatives fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3(L2) 2, [M(II)(bipy)2(L2)](PF6)2 (M=RuII 9 or OsII 16) which react with the dianhydride of diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) to give the binuclear complex {fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3}2(L3) 3 and the complex salts [{M(II)(bipy)2}2(L3)](PF6)4 (M = RuII 10 or OsII 17). The latter react with salts Ln(OTf)3 to afford a series of 12 heterotrimetallic compounds that contain a lanthanide (Ln) ion in the DTPA binding site; {fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3}2(L3)LnIII (Ln=Nd 4, Er 5, Yb 6 or Y 7) and [{M(II)(bipy)2}2(L3)LnIII](PF6)(OTf)3 (M=RuII, Ln=Nd 11, Er 12, Yb 13 or Y 14; M=OsII, Ln=Nd 18, Er 19, Yb 20 or Y 21). All of these trimetallic species display absorption bands ascribed to metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) excitations, and luminescence measurements show that these excited states can be used to sensitise near-infrared emission from LnIII (Ln=Nd, Er or Yb) ions. Single crystal X-ray structures of L1 and [RuII(bipy)2(L2H)](H2PO4)3.(CH3)2CO.0.8H2O were obtained, the latter revealing the presence of H2PO4- counter anions, the source of which is presumed to be hydrolysis of PF6- ions.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) compounds of chloranilate and 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine have been synthesized, and the structures have been solved by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The crystal structure of [[Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)][Cu(CA)(2)]](n)(1), where H(2)CA = chloranilic acid and terpy = 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine, consists of two modules, the dimer unit [Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)](2+) and the anionic mononuclear unit [Cu(CA)(2)](2)(-), forming an alternated chain. The chain is stabilized by semicoordinating and additional but efficient secondary bonding interactions. The crystal structure of [[Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)(dmso)(2)][Cu(CA)(2)(dmso)(2)](EtOH)](n)(2), where dmso = dimethyl sulfoxide, consists of solvent molecules and two discrete modules, the dimer unit [Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)(dmso)(2)](2+) and the anionic mononuclear unit [Cu(CA)(2)(dmso)(2)](2)(-). The dimer units form a layer by secondary bonding interactions, and the monomer units and ethanol molecules are introduced between the layers. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 have been investigated in the temperature range 2.0-300 K. A weak ferromagnetic interaction was observed in 1, J(a) = 2.36 cm(-)(1) and zJ(b) = -0.68 cm(-)(1) while no exchange coupling was observed in 2.  相似文献

A series of group 13 metal complexes featuring the beta-diketiminate ligand [[(C(6)H(3)-2,6-i-Pr(2))NC(Me)](2)CH](-) (i.e., [Dipp(2)nacnac](-), Dipp = C(6)H(3)-2,6-i-Pr(2)) have been prepared and spectroscopically and structurally characterized. The chloride derivatives Dipp(2)nacnacMCl(2) (M = Al (3), Ga (5), In (8)) were isolated in good yield by the reaction of 1 equiv of Dipp(2)nacnacLi.Et(2)O (2) and the respective metal halides. The iodide derivatives Dipp(2)nacnacMI(2) (M = Al (4), Ga (6), In (9)), which are useful for reduction to afford M(I) species, were made by a variety of routes. Thus, 4 was obtained by treatment of the previously reported Dipp(2)nacnacAlMe(2) with I(2), whereas the gallium analogue 6 was obtained as a product of the reaction of "GaI" with Dipp(2)nacnacLi.Et(2)O, and 9 was obtained by direct reaction of InI(3) and the lithium salt. The methyl derivatives Dipp(2)nacnacMMe(2) (M = Ga (7), In (10)), which are analogous to the previously reported Dipp(2)nacnacAlMe(2), were synthesized by the reaction of GaMe(3) with Dipp(2)nacnacH (1) or by reaction of the indium chloride derivative 8 with 2 equiv of MeMgBr in diethyl ether. The compounds 3-10 exist as colorless, air- and moisture-sensitive crystalline solids. Their X-ray crystal structures feature nearly planar C(3)N(2) arrays in the Dipp(2)nacnac ligand backbone with short C-C and C-N distances that are consistent with a delocalized structure. However, there are large dihedral angles between the C(3)N(2) plane and the N(2)M metal coordination plane which have been attributed mainly to steric effects. The relatively short M-N distances are consistent with the coordination numbers of the metals and the normal/dative character of the nitrogen ligands. The compounds were also characterized by (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy. (1)H NMR data for 7 revealed equivalent methyl groups whereas the spectrum of 10 displayed two In-Me signals which indicated that ring wagging was slow on the (1)H NMR time scale.  相似文献

The reactivity of a series of Ga(I), Ga(II) and Ga(III) heterocyclic compounds towards a number of Group 15 substrates has been investigated with a view to prepare examples of gallium-terminal pnictinidene complexes. Although no examples of such complexes were isolated, a number of novel complexes have been prepared. The reactions of the gallium(I) N-heterocyclic carbene analogue, [K(tmeda)][:Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}] (Ar = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl) with cyclo-(PPh)(5) and PhN[double bond, length as m-dash]NPh led to the unusual anionic spirocyclic complexes, [{kappa(2)P,P'-(PhP)(4)}Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}](-) and [{kappa(2)N,C-PhNN(H)(C(6)H(4))}Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}](-), via formal reductions of the Group 15 substrate. The reaction of the digallane(4), [Ga{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}](2), with (Me(3)Si)N(3) afforded the paramagnetic, dimeric imido-gallane complex, [{[N(Ar)C(H) ](2)}Ga{mu-N(SiMe(3))}](2), via a Ga-Ga bond insertion process. In addition, the new gallium(III) phosphide, [GaI{P(H)Mes*}{[N(Ar)C(H)](2) }], Mes* = C(6)H(2)Bu(t)(3)-2,4,6; was prepared and treated with diazabicycloundecane (DBU) to give [Ga(DBU){P(H)Mes*}{[N(Ar)C(H)](2)}], presumably via a gallium-terminal phosphinidene intermediate, [Ga{[double bond, length as m-dash]PMes*}{[N(Ar)C(H)](2) }]. The possible mechanisms of all reactions are discussed, all new complexes have been crystallographically characterised and all paramagnetic complexes have been studied by ENDOR and/or EPR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Synthetic methods for [Et(4)N](4)[W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (1), [Et(4)N](4)[Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (2), [W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (3), and [Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (4) are described. [Et(4)N](2)[MS(4)], [Et(4)N](2)[MS(2)O(2)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and KBH(4) (or Et(4)NBH(4)) were used as starting materials for the synthesis of 1 and 2. Compounds 3 and 4 were produced by reaction of [Et(4)N](2)[WOS(3)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN and by reaction of [Me(4)N](2)[MO(2)O(2)S(8)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN, respectively. Crystal structures of compounds 1-4 were determined. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.264(5) ?, b = 32.833(8) ?, c = 14.480(3) ?, beta = 118.66(2) degrees, V = 5950.8(5) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 14.288(5) ?, b = 32.937(10) ?, c = 14.490(3) ?, beta = 118.75(2) degrees, V = 5978.4(7) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 2. Compounds 3 and 4 crystallized in the trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 13.836(6) ?, c = 29.81(1) ?, V = 4942(4) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 3 and a = 13.756(9) ?, c = 29.80(2) ?, V = 4885(6) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 4. The cluster cores have approximate C(2v) symmetry. The anions of 1 and 2 may be viewed as consisting of two butterfly-type [CuMOS(3)Cu] fragments bridged by two [MOS(3)](2-) groups. Eight metal atoms in the anions are arranged in an approximate square configuration, with a Cu(4)M(4)S(12) ring structure. Compounds 3 and 4 can be considered to consist of one [M(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)](4-) (the anions of 1 and 2) unit capped by Cu(TMEN)(+) groups on each M atom; the Cu(TMEN)(+) groups extend alternately up and down around the Cu(4)M(4) square. The electronic spectra of the compounds are dominated by the internal transitions of the [MOS(3)](2-) moiety. (95)Mo NMR spectral data are investigated and compared with those of other compounds.  相似文献

Ten 1:1 and 2:1 complexes of [Mn(CO)(3)](+) and [Re(CO)(3)](+) with [Nb(6)O(19)](8)(-) and [Ta(6)O(19)](8)(-) have been isolated as potassium salts in good yields and characterized by elemental analysis, (17)O NMR and infrared spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray structure determinations. Crystal data for 1 (t-Re(2)Ta(6)): empirical formula, K(4)Na(2)Re(2)C(6)Ta(6)O(35)H(20), monoclinic, space group, C2/m, a = 17.648(3) A, b = 10.056(1) A, c = 13.171(2) A, beta = 112.531(2) degrees, Z = 2. 2 (t-Re(2)Nb(6)): empirical formula, K(6)Re(2)C(6)Nb(6)O(38)H(26), monoclinic, space group, C2/m, a = 17.724(1) A, b = 10.0664(6) A, c = 13.1965(7) A, beta = 112.067(1) degrees, Z = 2. 3 (t-Mn(2)Nb(6)): empirical formula, K(6)Mn(2)C(6)Nb(6)O(37)H(24), monoclinic, space group, C2/m, a = 17.812(2) A, b = 10.098(1) A, c = 13.109(2) A, beta = 112.733(2) degrees, Z = 2. 4 (c-Mn(2)Nb(6)): empirical formula, K(6)Mn(2)C(6)Nb(6)O(50)H(50), triclinic, space group, P1, a = 10.2617(6) A, b = 13.4198(8) A, c = 21.411(1) A, alpha = 72.738(1) degrees, beta = 112.067(1) degrees, gamma = 83.501(1) degrees, Z = 2. 5 (c-Re(2)Nb(6)): empirical formula, K(6)Re(2)C(6)Nb(6)O(54)H(58), monoclinic, space group, P2(1)/c, a = 21.687(2) A, b = 10.3085(9) A, c = 26.780(2) A, beta = 108.787(1) degrees, Z = 4. The complexes contain M(CO)(3) groups attached to the surface bridging oxygen atoms of the hexametalate anions to yield structures of nominal C(3)(v)() (1:1), D(3)(d)() (trans 2:1), and C(2)(v)() (cis 2:1) symmetry. The syntheses are carried out in aqueous solution or by aqueous hydrothermal methods, and the complexes have remarkably high thermal, redox, and hydrolytic stabilities. The Re-containing compounds are stable to 400-450 degrees C, at which point CO loss occurs. The Mn compounds lose CO at temperatures above 200 degrees C. Cyclic voltammetry of all complexes in 0.1 M sodium acetate show no redox behavior, except an irreversible oxidation process at approximately 1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. In contrast to the parent hexametalate anions that are stable only in alkaline (pH >10) solution, the new complexes are stable, at least kinetically, between pH 4 and pEta approximately 12.  相似文献

Quantum chemical calculations using gradient-corrected DFT at the BP86/TZ2P level of the compounds [Ti(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) (E = CH, N, P, As, Sb) are reported. The nature of the metal-ligand bonding has been analyzed with an energy decomposition method, and the results are compared with [Fe(eta(5)-E(5))(2)]. The bonding in both series of complexes is more covalent than electrostatic. The energy decomposition analysis shows that the dominant orbital interactions in the negatively charged titanium species come from the (e(2)') Ti --> [(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) back-donation (delta bonding) while the covalent bonding in the iron complexes come mainly from (e(1)' ') (Cp(-))(2) --> Fe(2+) donation (pi bonding). The nature of the metal-ligand interactions does not change very much for different ligands cyc-E(5) within the two series of compounds. The calculated bond dissociation energies for breaking one metal-ligand bond of the molecules [Ti(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) shows for E the order P > As > Sb > N > CH. The central message of this work is that the complexes [Ti(eta(5)-E(5))(2)](2)(-) are delta bonded molecules.  相似文献

Interaction of the lacunary [alpha-XW(9)O(33)](9-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) with Fe(3+) ions in acidic, aqueous medium leads to the formation of dimeric polyoxoanions, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) in high yield. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-AsW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O, which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/m, with a = 20.2493(18) A, b = 15.2678(13) A, c = 16.0689(14) A, beta = 95.766(2) degrees, and Z = 2; Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SbW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O is isomorphous with a = 20.1542(18) A, b = 15.2204(13) A, c = 16.1469(14) A, and beta = 95.795(2) degrees. The selenium and tellurium analogues are also reported, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](4-) (X = Se(IV), Te(IV)). They are synthesized from sodium tungstate and a source of the heteroatom as precursors. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out on Cs(4)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)] x 21H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P macro 1, with a = 12.6648(10) A, b = 12.8247(10) A, c = 16.1588(13) A, alpha = 75.6540(10) degrees, beta = 87.9550(10) degrees, gamma = 64.3610(10) gamma, and Z = 1. All title polyanions consist of two (beta-XW(9)O(33)) units joined by a central pair and a peripheral pair of Fe(3+) ions leading to a structure with idealized C(2h) symmetry. It was also possible to synthesize the Cr(III) derivatives [Cr(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)), the tungstoselenates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16)(-)(4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), and the tungstotellurates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-TeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16-4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), as determined by FTIR. The electrochemical properties of the iron-containing species were also studied. Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry aided in distinguishing between Fe(3+) and W(6+) waves. By variation of pH and scan rate, it was possible to observe the stepwise reduction of the Fe(3+) centers.  相似文献

The title compound [2,6-Mes(2)C(2)H(3)](2)Ga(+)Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)](2)(-), 1, containing a linear two-coordinate gallium cation, has been obtained by metathesis reaction of [2,6-Mes(2)C(2)H(3)](2)GaCl with 2 equiv of Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)] in C(6)H(5)Cl solution at room temperature. Compound 1 has been characterized by (1)H, (13)C((1)H), (19)F, and (27)Al NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Compound 1 consists of isolated [2,6-Mes(2)C(6)H(3)](2)Ga(+) cations and Li[Al(OCH(CF(3))(2))(4)](2)(-) anions. The C-Ga-C angle is 175.69(7) degrees, and the Ga-C distances are 1.9130(14) and 1.9145(16) A. The title compound is remarkably stable, is only a weak Lewis acid, and polymerizes cyclohexene oxide.  相似文献
