We study codeterminants in the q-Schur algebra S q (n,r) and prove that the standard ones form a basis of S q (n,r), using a quantized version of the Désarménien matrix. We find elements of the form F S 1λ E T in Lusztig’s modified enveloping algebra of gl(n), which, up to powers of q, map to the basis of standard codeterminants, where F S U and E T U + are explicitly given products of root vectors, depending on Young tableaux S and T.  相似文献

Let Δ be a triangulation of some polygonal domain Ω ⊂ R2 and let Sqr(Δ) denote the space of all bivariate polynomial splines of smoothness r and degree q with respect to Δ. We develop the first Hermite-type interpolation scheme for S q r (Δ), q ≥ 3r + 2, whose approximation error is bounded above by Kh q +1, where h is the maximal diameter of the triangles in Δ, and the constant K only depends on the smallest angle of the triangulation and is independent of near-degenerate edges and near-singular vertices. Moreover, the fundamental functions of our scheme are minimally supported and form a locally linearly independent basis for a superspline subspace of S q r (Δ). This shows that the optimal approximation order can be achieved by using minimally supported splines. Our method of proof is completely different from the quasi-interpolation techniques for the study of the approximation power of bivariate splines developed in [7] and [18].  相似文献

As the main result, we show that if G is a finite group such that Γ(G) = Γ(2 F 4(q)), where q = 22m+1 for some m ≧ 1, then G has a unique nonabelian composition factor isomorphic to 2 F 4(q). We also show that if G is a finite group satisfying |G| =|2 F 4(q)| and Γ(G) = Γ(2 F 4(q)), then G2 F 4(q). As a consequence of our result we give a new proof for a conjecture of W. Shi and J. Bi for 2 F 4(q). The third author was supported in part by a grant from IPM (No. 87200022).  相似文献

Abstract

In the paper, the deriviation algebras of the associative algebras of the one-variable (resp. multivariable) q-differential operators and of their corresponding Lie algebras are determined. The completeness of the derivation algebras of the algebras of q-differential operators is also discussed. Finally, we calculate H 2(𝒟 q (n)?, C) for n ≥ 1, as well as H 2(g l n (𝒟 q ), C) under the assumption that q is transcendental over the rational numbers field Q.  相似文献

The shortest possible length of a q-ary linear code of covering radius R and codimension r is called the length function and is denoted by q (r, R). Constructions of codes with covering radius 3 are here developed, which improve best known upper bounds on q (r, 3). General constructions are given and upper bounds on q (r, 3) for q = 3, 4, 5, 7 and r ≤ 24 are tabulated.  相似文献

Let S be a fixed finite symmetric subset of SL d (Z), and assume that it generates a Zariski-dense subgroup G. We show that the Cayley graphs of π q (G) with respect to the generating set π q (S) form a family of expanders, where π q is the projection map ZZ/q Z.  相似文献

A construction of bases for cell modules of the Birman–Murakami–Wenzl (or B–M–W) algebra B n (q,r) by lifting bases for cell modules of B n−1(q,r) is given. By iterating this procedure, we produce cellular bases for B–M–W algebras on which a large Abelian subalgebra, generated by elements which generalise the Jucys–Murphy elements from the representation theory of the Iwahori–Hecke algebra of the symmetric group, acts triangularly. The triangular action of this Abelian subalgebra is used to provide explicit criteria, in terms of the defining parameters q and r, for B–M–W algebras to be semisimple. The aforementioned constructions provide generalisations, to the algebras under consideration here, of certain results from the Specht module theory of the Iwahori–Hecke algebra of the symmetric group. It is shown that Nichols algebras over alternating groups \mathbb Am{\mathbb A_m} (m ≥ 5) are infinite dimensional. This proves that any complex finite dimensional pointed Hopf algebra with group of group-likes isomorphic to \mathbb Am{\mathbb A_m} is isomorphic to the group algebra. In a similar fashion, it is shown that the Nichols algebras over the symmetric groups \mathbb Sm{\mathbb S_m} are all infinite-dimensional, except maybe those related to the transpositions considered in Fomin and Kirillov (Progr Math 172:146–182, 1999), and the class of type (2, 3) in \mathbb S5{\mathbb S_5}. We also show that any simple rack X arising from a symmetric group, with the exception of a small list, collapse, in the sense that the Nichols algebra \mathfrak B(X, q){\mathfrak B(X, \bf q)} is infinite dimensional, q an arbitrary cocycle.  相似文献

Let A be a QF-3 standardly stratified algebra and f be a Schur functor corresponding to some projective-injective faithful A-module, denoted by Ae. The main result of this paper is to prove that, if the dominant dimension of A is sufficiently large, then ] induces a full embedding from £(△) to eAe-mod which preserves Ext-groups up to certain degrees, where £(△) denotes the full subcategory of A-mod whose objects are filtered by standard A-modules. We check this criterion on some typical examples, quantized Schur algebras Sq(n,r) with n≥r and finite-dimensional algebras associated with the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand category O of semisimple complex Lie algebras.  相似文献

We prove that the stable homotopy of any Γ-module F is the homology of a bicomplex Ξ(F), in which the (q−1)st row is the two-sided bar construction ℬ(Lie* q q ,F[q]). This gives a natural homotopical cotangent bicomplex for graded commutative algebras, in a form suitable for use in a new obstruction theory for classifying E ring structures on spectra. The E structure on certain Lubin-Tate spectra is a corollary. Oblatum 15-X-2001 & 14-X-2002?Published online: 24 February 2003  相似文献

Using a property of generalized characters, we first prove that two Riesz products with constant coefficients and distinct Fourier spectra are mutually singular. IfS r (n) denotes the sum of digits in ther-adic representation of the integern, the same technique allows us to establish the mutual singularity of the spectral measures of the sequences: α(n)=exp[2iπaS p (n)],β(n)=exp[2iπbS q (n)], for every pair of integersp≠q, a, b being real numbers such thata(p−1)∉ {tiZ} andb(q−1)∉Z. This result has been proved by T. Kamae whenp andq are two relatively prime integers.   相似文献

The following Khintchine-type theorem is proved for manifoldsM embedded in ℝ k which satisfy some mild curvature conditions. The inequality |q·x| <Ψ(|q|) whereΨ(r) → 0 asr → ∞ has finitely or infinitely many solutionsqεℤ k for almost all (in induced measure) points x onM according as the sum Σ r = 1/∞ Ψ(r)r k−2 converges or diverges (the divergent case requires a slightly stronger curvature condition than the convergent case). Also, the Hausdorff dimension is obtained for the set (of induced measure 0) of point inM satisfying the inequality infinitely often whenψ(r) =r t . τ >k − 1.  相似文献

Let n ≥ 2 be a fixed positive integer, q ≥ 3 and c be two integers with (n, q) = (c, q) = 1. We denote by rn(51, 52, C; q) (δ 〈 δ1,δ2≤ 1) the number of all pairs of integers a, b satisfying ab ≡ c(mod q), 1 〈 a ≤δ1q, 1 ≤ b≤δ2q, (a,q) = (b,q) = 1 and nt(a+b). The main purpose of this paper is to study the asymptotic properties of rn (δ1, δ2, c; q), and give a sharp asymptotic formula for it.  相似文献

Given a weighted discrete abelian semigroup (S, ω), the semigroup M ω (S) of ω-bounded multipliers as well as the Rees quotient M ω (S)/S together with their respective weights [(w)\tilde]\tilde{\omega} and [(w)\tilde]q\tilde{\omega}_q induced by ω are studied; for a large class of weights ω, the quotient l1(Mw(S),[(w)\tilde])/l1(S,w)\ell^1(M_{\omega}(S),\tilde{\omega})/\ell^1(S,{\omega}) is realized as a Beurling algebra on the quotient semigroup M ω (S)/S; the Gel’fand spaces of these algebras are determined; and Banach algebra properties like semisimplicity, uniqueness of uniform norm and regularity of associated Beurling algebras on these semigroups are investigated. The involutive analogues of these are also considered. The results are exhibited in the context of several examples.  相似文献

For a given idealI of a commutative ringA, B=A/I, the vanishing of the second André-Quillen (co)homology functorH 2 (A, B, δ) is characterized in terms of the canonical homomorphism α:S(I)→R(I) from the symmetric algebra of the idealI onto its Rees algebra. This is done by introducing a Koszul complex that characterizes commutative graded algebras which are symmetric algebras.

In this note we give elementary examples of the naturalness of generalized Clifford algebras appearance, in some particular quantum mechanical models. First Weyl’s program [1] for quantum kinematics for the case of simplest Galois fieldsZ n is realized in terms of generalized Clifford algebras. Dynamics might then be introduced, following the ideas of Hanney and Berry [2], as shown in [3]. Second the coherent state picture of the finite dimensional “Z n — Quantum Mechanics” is presented. In the last part the known coherent states ofq-deformed quantum oscillators (q≡ω) are explicitly shown in the generalized Grassman algebras and the generalized Clifford algebras settings. We introduce a spanning set of Beilinson–Lusztig–MacPherson type, {A(j, r)} A,j , for affine quantum Schur algebras S\vartriangle(n, r){{{\boldsymbol{\mathcal S}}_\vartriangle}(n, r)} and construct a linearly independent set {A(j)} A,j for an associated algebra [^(K)]\vartriangle(n){{{\boldsymbol{\widehat{\mathcal K}}}_\vartriangle}(n)} . We then establish explicitly some multiplication formulas of simple generators E\vartriangleh,h+1(0){E^\vartriangle_{h,h+1}}(\mathbf{0}) by an arbitrary element A(j) in [^(K)]\vartriangle(n){{\boldsymbol{\widehat{{{\mathcal K}}}}_\vartriangle(n)}} via the corresponding formulas in S\vartriangle(n, r){{{\boldsymbol{\mathcal S}}_\vartriangle(n, r)}} , and compare these formulas with the multiplication formulas between a simple module and an arbitrary module in the Ringel–Hall algebras \mathfrak H\vartriangle(n){{{\boldsymbol{\mathfrak H}_\vartriangle(n)}}} associated with cyclic quivers. This allows us to use the triangular relation between monomial and PBW type bases for \mathfrak H\vartriangle(n){{\boldsymbol{\mathfrak H}}_\vartriangle}(n) established in Deng and Du (Adv Math 191:276–304, 2005) to derive similar triangular relations for S\vartriangle(n, r){{{\boldsymbol{\mathcal S}}_\vartriangle}(n, r)} and [^(K)]\vartriangle(n){{\boldsymbol{\widehat{\mathcal K}}}_\vartriangle}(n) . Using these relations, we then show that the subspace \mathfrak A\vartriangle(n){{{\boldsymbol{\mathfrak A}}_\vartriangle}(n)} of [^(K)]\vartriangle(n){{\boldsymbol{\widehat{{{\mathcal K}}}}_\vartriangle}(n)} spanned by {A(j)} A,j contains the quantum enveloping algebra U\vartriangle(n){{{\mathbf U}_\vartriangle}(n)} of affine type A as a subalgebra. As an application, we prove that, when this construction is applied to quantum Schur algebras S(n,r){\boldsymbol{\mathcal S}(n,r)} , the resulting subspace \mathfrak A\vartriangle(n){{{{\boldsymbol{\mathfrak A}}_\vartriangle}(n)}} is in fact a subalgebra which is isomorphic to the quantum enveloping algebra of \mathfrakgln{\mathfrak{gl}_n} . We conjecture that \mathfrak A\vartriangle(n){{{{{\boldsymbol{\mathfrak A}}_\vartriangle}(n)}}} is a subalgebra of [^(K)]\vartriangle(n){{\boldsymbol{\widehat{{{\mathcal K}}}}_\vartriangle}(n)} .  相似文献

Let R be an arbitrary ring, S be a subset of R, and Z(S) = {sS | sx = xs for every xS}. The commuting graph of S, denoted by Γ(S), is the graph with vertex set S \ Z(S) such that two different vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xy = yx. In this paper, let I n , N n be the sets of all idempotents, nilpotent elements in the quaternion algebra ℤ n [i, j, k], respectively. We completely determine Γ(I n ) and Γ(N n ). Moreover, it is proved that for n ≥ 2, Γ(I n ) is connected if and only if n has at least two odd prime factors, while Γ(N n ) is connected if and only if n ∈ 2, 22, p, 2p for all odd primes p.  相似文献
