This review covers an important domain of p-adic mathematical physics — quantum mechanics with p-adic valued wave functions. We start with basic mathematical constructions of this quantum model: Hilbert spaces over quadratic extensions of the field of p-adic numbers ? p , operators — symmetric, unitary, isometric, one-parameter groups of unitary isometric operators, the p-adic version of Schrödinger’s quantization, representation of canonical commutation relations in Heisenberg andWeyl forms, spectral properties of the operator of p-adic coordinate.We also present postulates of p-adic valued quantization. Here observables as well as probabilities take values in ? p . A physical interpretation of p-adic quantities is provided through approximation by rational numbers.  相似文献

The theory of p-adic wavelets is presented. One-dimensional and multidimensional wavelet bases and their relation to the spectral theory of pseudodifferential operators are discussed. For the first time, bases of compactly supported eigenvectors for p-adic pseudodifferential operators were considered by V.S. Vladimirov. In contrast to real wavelets, p-adic wavelets are related to the group representation theory; namely, the frames of p-adic wavelets are the orbits of p-adic transformation groups (systems of coherent states). A p-adic multiresolution analysis is considered and is shown to be a particular case of the construction of a p-adic wavelet frame as an orbit of the action of the affine group.  相似文献

We investigate the Chow groups of zero cycles of products of curves over a p-adic field by means of the Milnor K-groups of their Jacobians as introduced by Somekawa. We prove some finiteness results for CH 0(X)/m for X a product of curves over a p-adic field.  相似文献

We investigate the rigged Hilbert space of free coherent states. We prove that this rigged Hilbert space is isomorphic to the space of generalized functions over a p-adic disk. We discuss the relation of the described isomorphism of rigged Hilbert spaces and noncommutative geometry and show that the considered example realizes the isomorphism between the noncommutative line and the p-adic disk.  相似文献

We investigate nonlinear pseudodifferential equations with infinitely many derivatives. These are equations of a new class, and they originally appeared in p-adic string theory. Their investigation is of interest in mathematical physics and its applications, in particular, in string theory and cosmology. We undertake a systematic mathematical investigation of the properties of these equations and prove the main uniqueness theorem for the solution in an algebra of generalized functions. We discuss boundary problems for bounded solutions and prove the existence theorem for spatially homogeneous solutions for odd p. For even p, we prove the absence of a continuous nonnegative solution interpolating between two vacuums and indicate the possible existence of discontinuous solutions. We also consider the multidimensional equation and discuss soliton and q-brane solutions.  相似文献

We study p-adic multiresolution analyses (MRAs). A complete characterization of test functions generating an MRA (scaling functions) is given. We prove that only 1-periodic test functions may be taken as orthogonal scaling functions and that all such scaling functions generate the Haar MRA. We also suggest a method for constructing sets of wavelet functions and prove that any set of wavelet functions generates a p-adic wavelet frame.  相似文献

In this paper, a p-adic analogue of the wave equation with Lipschitz source is considered. Since it is hard to arrive the solution of the problem, we propose a regularized method to solve the problem from a modified p-adic integral equation. Moreover, we give an iterative scheme for numerical computation of the regularlized solution.

We study the behaviour of the iterates of the Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind in p-adic fields. In particular, we determine in the field of complex p-adic numbers for p > 2, the periodic points of the p-th Chebyshev polynomial of the first kind. These periodic points are attractive points. We describe their basin of attraction. The classification of finite field extensions of the field of p-adic numbers ? p , enables one to locate precisely, for any integer ν ≥ 1, the ν-periodic points of T p : they are simple and the nonzero ones lie in the unit circle of the unramified extension of ? p , (p > 2) of degree ν. This generalizes a result, stated by M. Zuber in his PhD thesis, giving the fixed points of T p in the field ? p , (p > 2). As often happens, we consider separately the case p = 2. Also, if the integer n ≥ 2 is not divisible by p, then any fixed point w of T n is indifferent in the field of p-adic complex numbers and we give for p ≥ 3, the p-adic Siegel disc around w.  相似文献

We discuss transformation of p-adic pseudodifferential operators (in the one-dimensional and multidimensional cases) with respect to p-adic maps which correspond to automorphisms of the tree of balls in the corresponding p-adic spaces. In the dimension one we find a rule of transformation for pseudodifferential operators. In particular we find the formula of pseudodifferentiation of a composite function with respect to the Vladimirov p-adic fractional operator. We describe the frame of wavelets for the group of parabolic automorphisms of the tree T (O p ) of balls in O p . In many dimensions we introduce the group of mod p-affine transformations, the family of pseudodifferential operators corresponding to pseudodifferentiation along vector fields on the tree T (O p ) and obtain a rule of transformation of the introduced pseudodifferential operators with respect to mod p-affine transformations.  相似文献

In this paper, the new techniques and results concerning the structure theory of modules over noncommutative Iwasawa algebras are applied to arithmetic: we study Iwasawa modules over p-adic Lie extensions k of number fields k 'up to pseudo-isomorphism'. In particular, a close relationship is revealed between the Selmer group of Abelian varieties, the Galois group of the maximal Abelian unramified p-extension of k as well as the Galois group of the maximal Abelian p-extension unramified outside S where S is a certain finite setof places of k. Moreover, we determine the Galois module structure of local units and other modules arising from Galois cohomology.  相似文献

We consider the squaring map over the p-adic numbers for an odd prime p, and study its symbolic dynamics on the unit circle in ? p , the p-adic integers. When the map is restricted to the set of squares, we show an equivalence to angle doubling (mod 1) for rational angles. For primes p ≡ 3 (mod 4), this map may be represented as a unitary permutation matrix of the type used in quantum phase estimation.  相似文献

The approach to p-adic wavelet theory from the point of view of representation theory is discussed. p-Adic wavelet frames can be constructed as orbits of some p-adic groups of transformations. These groups are automorphisms of the tree of balls in the p-adic space. In the present paper we consider deformations of the standard p-adic metric in many dimensions and construct some corresponding groups of transformations. We build several examples of p-adic wavelet bases. We show that the constructed wavelets are eigenvectors of some pseudodifferential operators.  相似文献

A p-adic realization of the standard statistical model of quantum mechanics is constructed. Within this realization, a p-adic linear bosonic channel is defined, and its properties are analyzed. In particular, a criterion for the existence of a linear Gaussian bosonic channel is obtained, and its explicit construction is described.
