In this paper, we investigate the existence of global weak solutions to the Cauchy problem of a modified two‐component Camassa‐Holm equation with the initial data satisfying limx → ±∞u0(x) = u±. By perturbing the Cauchy problem around a rarefaction wave, we obtain a global weak solution for the system under the assumption u?u+. We consider a weakly dissipative modified two‐component Dullin–Gottwald–Holm system. The existence of global weak solutions to the system is established. We first give the well‐posedness result of viscous approximate problem and obtain the basic energy estimates. Then, we show that the limit of the viscous approximation solutions is a global weak solution to the system. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The μ‐Camassa‐Holm equation with linear dispersion is a completely integrable model. In this paper, it is shown that this equation has quadratic pseudo‐potentials that allow us to construct pseudo‐potential–type nonlocal symmetries. As an application, we obtain its recursion operator by using this kind of nonlocal symmetry, and we construct a Darboux transformation for the μ‐Camassa‐Holm equation.  相似文献

We consider a two‐component Camassa–Holm system which arises in shallow water theory. We analyze a wave breaking mechanism and the global existence of solutions. First, we discuss the local well posedness and a blow up mechanism, then establish some new blow up criteria for this system formulated either on the line or with space‐periodic initial conditions. Finally, the existence of global solutions is analyzed.  相似文献

This paper deals with the non‐uniform dependence and persistence properties for a coupled Camassa–Holm equations. Using the method of approximate solutions in conjunction with well‐posedness estimate, it is proved that the solution map of the Cauchy problem for this coupled Camassa–Holm equation is not uniformly continuous in Sobolev spaces Hs with s > 3/2. On the other hand, the persistence properties in weighted Lp spaces for the solution of this coupled Camassa–Holm system are considered. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A super Camassa–Holm equation with peakon solutions is proposed, which is associated with a 3 × 3 matrix spectral problem with two potentials. With the aid of the zero‐curvature equation, we derive a hierarchy of super Harry Dym type equations and establish their Hamiltonian structures. It is shown that the super Camassa–Holm equation is exactly a negative flow in the hierarchy and admits exact solutions with N peakons. As an example, exact 1‐peakon solutions of the super Camassa–Holm equation are given. Infinitely many conserved quantities of the super Camassa–Holm equation and the super Harry Dym type equation are, respectively, obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss a generalized Camassa–Holm equation whose solutions are velocity potentials of the classical Camassa–Holm equation. By exploiting the connection between these two equations, we first establish the local well-posedness of the new equation in the Besov spaces and deduce several blow-up criteria and blow-up results. Then, we investigate the existence of global strong solutions and present a class of cuspon weak solutions for the new equation.  相似文献

We prove local existence and uniqueness of weak solutions of the Camassa–Holm equation with periodic boundary conditions in various spaces of low-regularity which include the periodic peakons. The proof uses the connection of the Camassa–Holm equation with the geodesic flow on the diffeomorphism group of the circle with respect to the L 2 metric.  相似文献

Considered herein is a generalized two‐component Camassa–Holm system in spatially periodic setting. We first prove two conservation laws; then under proper assumptions on the initial data, we show the precise blow‐up scenarios and sufficient conditions guaranteeing the formation of singularities to the solutions of the generalized Camassa–Holm system. In the paper, by the approximation of smooth solutions and a regularization technique, we show the existence and uniqueness of global weak solutions for a two-component Camassa–Holm system with an arbitrary smooth function provided the initial data satisfy some certain sign condition.  相似文献

In this paper we study initial boundary value problems of the Camassa–Holm equation on the half line and on a compact interval. Using rigorously the conservation of symmetry, it is possible to convert these boundary value problems into Cauchy problems for the Camassa–Holm equation on the line and on the circle, respectively. Applying thus known results for the latter equations we first obtain the local well-posedness of the initial boundary value problems under consideration. Then we present some blow-up and global existence results for strong solutions. Finally we investigate global and local weak solutions for the equation on the half line and on a compact interval, respectively. An interesting result of our analysis shows that the Camassa–Holm equation on a compact interval possesses no nontrivial global classical solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the Cauchy problem of the generalized Camassa–Holm equation. Firstly, we prove the existence of the global strong solutions provide the initial data satisfying a certain sign condition. Then, we obtain the existence and the uniqueness of the global weak solutions under the same sign condition of the initial data.  相似文献

We prove existence of a global conservative solution of the Cauchy problem for the two-component Camassa–Holm (2CH) system on the line, allowing for nonvanishing and distinct asymptotics at plus and minus infinity. The solution is proven to be smooth as long as the density is bounded away from zero. Furthermore, we show that by taking the limit of vanishing density in the 2CH system, we obtain the global conservative solution of the (scalar) Camassa–Holm equation, which provides a novel way to define and obtain these solutions. Finally, it is shown that while solutions of the 2CH system have infinite speed of propagation, singularities travel with finite speed.  相似文献

Recently, Fan, Gao and Liu proposed a kind of rotation-two-component Camassa–Holm system. In this paper, we investigate whether the rotation-two-component Camassa–Holm system admits peakon-delta weak solutions in distribution sense. As special reductions, all peakon solutions for generalized Dullin–Gottwald–Holm system, two-component Camassa–Holm system, Dullin–Gottwald–Holm equation and Camassa–Holm equation are recovered from the corresponding results of rotation-two-component Camassa–Holm system.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with global existence of weak solutions for a periodic two-component?μ-Hunter–Saxton system. We first derive global existence for strong solutions to the system with smooth approximate initial data. Then, we show that the limit of approximate solutions is a global weak solution of the two-component?μ-Hunter–Saxton system.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish the local well‐posedness for the two‐component b‐family system in a range of the Besov space. We also derive the blow‐up scenario for strong solutions of the system. In addition, we determine the wave‐breaking mechanism to the two‐component Dullin–Gottwald–Holm system. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the optimal control problem for the viscous generalized Camassa–Holm equation. We deduce the existence and uniqueness of weak solution to the viscous generalized Camassa–Holm equation in a short interval by using Galerkin method. Then, by using optimal control theories and distributed parameter system control theories, the optimal control of the viscous generalized Camassa–Holm equation under boundary condition is given and the existence of optimal solution to the viscous generalized Camassa–Holm equation is proved.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of optimal control of the viscous Camassa–Holm equation. The existence and uniqueness of weak solution to the viscous Camassa–Holm equation are proved in a short interval. According to variational method, optimal control theories and distributed parameter system control theories, we can deduce that the norm of solution is related to the control item and initial value in the special Hilbert space. The optimal control of the viscous Camassa–Holm equation under boundary condition is given and the existence of optimal solution to the viscous Camassa–Holm equation is proved.  相似文献
