We use the minimax criterion to perform atheoretical analysis of determining the optimal interference for fitting elastic inclusions into holes in an isotropic elastic plate weakened by a periodic system of rectilinear cracks. We construct a closed system of algebraic equations that allows us to minimize the fracture parameters depending on the geometric and mechanical characteristics of the inclusions. The obtained fitting interference for the inclusions ensures an increase in the bearing strength of the compound plate under bending.  相似文献

We solve the problem of determining the stress-strain state of an anisotropic plate with an elliptic hole and a system of thin rectilinear elastic inclusions. We assume that there is a perfect mechanical contact between the inclusions and the plate. We deal with a more precise junction model with the flexural rigidity of inclusions taken into account. (The tangential and normal stresses, as well as the derivatives of the displacements, experience a jump across the line of contact.) The solution of the problem is constructed in the form of complex potentials automatically satisfying the boundary conditions on the contour of the elliptic hole and at infinity. The problem is reduced to a system of singular integral equations, which is solved numerically. We study the influence of the rigidity and geometry parameters of the elastic inclusions on the stress distribution and value on the contour of the hole in the plate. We also compare the numerical results obtained here with the known data.  相似文献

This paper describes the method for solving the problems of linear viscoelasticity for thin plates under the influence of bending moments and transverse forces. The small parameter method was used to reduce the original problem to a sequence of boundary-value problems solved via complex potentials of the bending theory of multiply connected anisotropic plates. The general representations of complex potentials and boundary conditions for their determination are obtained. The method for determining the stress state of the plate at any time with respect to complex approximation potentials is developed by replacing the powers of the small parameter by the Rabotnov operators. The problem of a plate with elliptical holes is solved. The numerical calculation results in the case of a plate with one or two holes are given. The variation of bending moments in time until stationary condition is reached is studied, and the influence of geometric characteristics of the plate on these variable is described.  相似文献

The problems of composite laminates containing elliptical elastic inclusions subjected to concentrated forces and moments are considered in this paper. By employing Stroh-like formalism for the coupled stretching–bending analysis, analytical closed form solutions are obtained explicitly. The generality of the solutions provided in this paper can be shown as follows: (1) The laminates include any kinds of laminate lay-ups, symmetric or unsymmetric, which allow the stretching and bending deformations couple each other. (2) The concentrated forces and moments can be applied in in-plane and/or out-of-plane directions, located inside and/or outside the inclusions. (3) The elliptical elastic inclusions can be any kinds of elastic materials including the limiting cases such as holes, rigid inclusions, cracks, line inclusions, etc. Since no such general solution has been found in the literature, the solutions are checked and verified by the special cases that no inclusions are embedded in the laminates, and that the inclusions are replaced by holes. Moreover, with various hardness ratios of inclusion and matrix some numerical examples showing the stress resultants along the interface are presented. Like the Green’s functions for the infinite laminates and those containing holes/cracks, the present solutions associated with the in-plane concentrated forces and out-of-plane concentrated moments have exactly the same mathematical form as those of the corresponding two-dimensional problems, in which the only difference is the contents of the symbols. While for the other loading cases, new types of solutions are obtained explicitly.  相似文献

To ensure the maneuvering capabilities of aircraft and high-speed sea vessels, designers should know the moments of inertia of their massive parts. But since the structure of some elements such as power units is very complicated, it is impossible to determine their moments of inertia analytically. Thus the problem of measuring the moments of inertia of massive large bodies arises. To this end, a measuring bench was designed in N. E. Zhukovskii Central Institute for Aerohydrodynamics (TsAGI) on the basis of a new method for determining the body moments of inertia from vibrations in the elastic suspension [1]. In this connection, it is necessary to develop the corresponding mathematical algorithms for determining the moments of inertia.In this paper, we develop mathematical algorithms for determining the body moments of inertia by using methods for identification of linear systems in the state space [2–5]. We present three versions of solving the problem of determining the body moments of inertia depending on the information about the method for exciting the vibrations or about the body parameters and the rigidity of the bench springs. We study the influence of damping on the accuracy of determining the moments of inertia. Numerical results are given for a specific system.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the modelling of thin elastic plates with small, periodically distributed, piezoelectric inclusions, in view of active controlled structure design. The initial equations are those of linear elasticity coupled with the electrostatic equation. Different kinds of boundary conditions on the upper faces of inclusions are considered, corresponding to different ways of control: Dirichlet, Neumann, local or nonlocal mixed conditions. We compute effective models when the thickness a of the plate, the characteristic dimension ε of the inclusions, and ε / a tend together to zero. The conventional method of solution for clamped rectangular plate lies in releasing the constraints for rotation at the clamped sides and substituting them by equivalent distributed bending moments. This paper gives a general formulation of this method for arbitrary load with proof of the convergence, and discusses the rate of convergence for displacements and bending moments. In the present paper, we will illustrate the application of the method of conditional moments by constructing the algorithm for determination of the effective elastic properties of composites from the given elastic constants of the components and geometrical parameters of inclusions. A special case of two-component matrix composite with randomly distributed unidirectional spheroidal inclusions is considered. To this end it is assumed that the components of the composite show transversally isotropic symmetry of thermoelastic properties and that the axes of symmetry of the thermoelastic properties of the matrix and inclusions coincide with the coordinate axis x 3. As a numerical example a composite based on carbon inclusions and epoxide matrix is investigated. The dependencies of Young’s moduli, Poisson’s ratios and shear modulus from the concentration of inclusions and for certain values which characterize the shape of inclusions are analyzed. The results are compared and discussed in context with other theoretical predictions and experimental data.   相似文献

This paper studies the boundary value problem for a finite plate containing two dissimilar inclusions. The matrix and the two inclusions have different elastic properties. The loadings applied along the outer boundary are in equilibrium. The mentioned problem is decomposed into three boundary value problems (BVPs). Two of them are interior BVP for the elastic inclusions, while the other is a BVP for the triply-connected region. Three problems are connected together through the common displacements and tractions along the interface boundaries. Explicit form for the complex variable boundary integral equation (CVBIE) is derived. After discretization of relevant BIEs, the solutions are evaluated numerically. 本文提出求解任意形状的薄板弯曲问题的虚边界元-最小二乘法。本法首先利用薄板弯曲平衡方程的格林函数和离开实际边界上分布的未知的横向荷载和法向弯矩函数建立满足实际边界条件的积分方程;然后采用最小二乘法和沿虚边界分段离散化的待定的分布横向荷载和法向弯矩函数得到求上述积分方程离散化数值解的线性代数方程组。导出了一系列的数值积分的公式,并求解了许多例题,数值结果说明本法完全避免了奇异积分及其复杂的处理方法和耗时的运算,而且在边界及其附近区域解的精度比普通边界元(以后简称边界元)法大大地提高了。  相似文献

A self-consistent statistical mechanics approach for determining the effective elastic properties of composites with random structure is developed. The problem is reduced to the model of a single inclusion with a non-homogeneous elastic neighbourhood in a medium with effective elastic properties. The inhomogeneous elastic properties and size of neighbourhood are defined by randomness of the geometry, random size of inclusions and random elastic properties of the inclusions. Numerical results are given for the effective elastic properties of a composite with hollow spherical inclusions.  相似文献

This paper presents the solution of the linear hydroelastic problem for steady forced vibrations of a semi-infinite ice cover under the effect of localized external load. The ice cover is simulated by a viscoelastic thin plate, the thickness of the fluid layer is assumed to be small, and the shallow water theory is used. The fluid is limited by a solid vertical wall, and the rectilinear edge of the elastic plate adjacent to the wall can be both free and clamped. The solution is obtained with the help of the Fourier integral transform. The behavior of the ice cover is studied depending on the frequency of the external load and boundary conditions on the edge of the plate. It is shown that, in the case of a free edge of the plate, there are considerable deflections on the edge, which could be comparable with deflections at the center of the pressure impact region. It is established that, due to the existence of wave movements of the type of edge waves, the external load energy is transferred to larger distances along the free edge, and there are significant bending moments on the edge of the clamped plate, which can lead to fracture of the ice cover with sufficiently great intensity of the external load.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the initial stage of a compressible liquid jet impact onto an elastic plate. The fluid flow is governed by the linear wave equation, while the response of the plate is governed by the classical linear dynamical plate equation. The coupling between the fluid flow and the plate deflection is taken into account through the dynamic and kinematic conditions imposed on the wetted part of the plate. The problem is solved numerically by the normal mode method. The principal coordinates of the hydrodynamic pressure and plate deflections satisfy a system of ordinary differential and integral equations. A time stepping method based on the Runge–Kutta scheme is used for the numerical integration of the system. Calculations are performed for two-dimensional, axisymmetric and three-dimensional jet impacts onto an elastic plate. The effects of the impact conditions and the elastic properties of the plate on the magnitudes of the elastic deflections and bending stresses are analysed.  相似文献

This plate is subjected to pure bending under the action of transverse forces and bending moments applied at the external boundary of the plate. There are no loads distributed over the surface. The problem of estimating the bending stress distribution in the neighborhood of a crack located on a single line in an orthotropic elastic plate of constant thickness subjected to out-of-plane concentrated moments is examined. Using classical plate theory and integral transform techniques, the general formulae for the bending moment and twisting moment in an elastic plate containing cracks located on a single line are derived. The solution is obtained in a closed form for the case in which there is a single crack in an infinite plate subjected to symmetric concentrated moments.  相似文献

An approach is proposed to solve a stress–strain problem for anisotropic rigidly fixed plates on an elastic foundation. The problem is solved by the method of successive approximations. At each approximation, the deflection is represented as polynomials whose coefficients are determined from a system of linear algebraic equations. Study is made of the influence of the reinforcement angle and the modulus of subgrade reaction on the deflections and the bending moments in an orthotropic plate.  相似文献

The governing integral equations are established by the method of mixed boundary condition 1 and the simplified form is given.
