A new pentacyclic triterpenoid, 2alpha,3beta-dihydroxylup-12-en-28-oic acid (1) and a rarely encountered pentacyclic triterpenoid, 3beta-hydroxylup-12-en-28-oic acid (2), together with five known compounds, friedelin (3), 3beta-friedelinol (4), betulinic acid (5), oleanolic acid (6) and beta-sitosterol (7) were isolated from the chloroform extract of stem bark of Eugenia grandis (Syn: Syzygium grande). The structure and stereochemistry of the new compound (1) and the rarely encountered compound (2) were established by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. All the above isolated compounds from this plant are reported for the first time.  相似文献

Two new iridoids, 6-O-trans-p-coumaroyl-7-deoxyrehmaglutin A (1) and 6-O-cis-p-coumaroyl-7-deoxyrehmaglutin A (2), were isolated from the fallen leaves of Catalpa ovata G. DON. together with six artifact iridoids (3-8). Their structures were established by spectral analysis. In addition, the scavenging effects of the principal compounds isolated from this plant on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical-scavenging activity were examined.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Cichorium intybus L. resulted in the isolation and identification of two new natural metabolites, 2,6-di[but-3(E)-en-2-onyl]naphthalene (1), and 3,3',4,4'-tetrahydroxychalcone (2), along with nine known compounds. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic techniques including 1D and 2D NMR. The known compounds were identified as scopoletin (3), 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (4), 3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid (5), 4,4'-dihydroxychalcone (6), 6,7-dihydroxycoumarine (7), 1-triacontanol (8), lupeol (9), beta-sitosterol (10), and beta-sitosterol-3-O-beta-glucopyranoside (11). Compounds 4-6 and 8 are reported for the first time from C. intybus. Compounds 2 and 3 showed weak inhibitory activities against urease and alpha-chymotrypsin enzymes, respectively.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigations on the methanolic extract of Melicope ptelefolia Champ ex Benth. resulted in the isolation of three new compounds, identified as 3beta-stigmast-5-en-3-ol butyl tridecanedioate (melicoester) (1), (2Z, 6Z, 10Z, 14Z, 18Z, 22Z, 26E)-3', 7', 11', 15', 19', 23', 27', 31'-octamethyldotriaconta-2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30-octadecanoate (melicopeprenoate) (2) and p-O-geranyl-7"-acetoxy coumaric acid (3). The compounds were isolated along with twenty-one other known compounds, lupeol (4), oleanolic acid (5), kokusaginine (6) genistein (7), p-O-geranyl coumaric acid (8), 4-stigmasten-3-one (9), 3beta-hydroxystigma-5-en-7-one (10) cis-phytyl palmitate (11), dodecane, dodecan-1-ol, ceryl alcohol, hentriacontanoic acid, eicosane, n-amyl alcohol, caprylic alcohol, octatriacontane, nonatriacontane, hexatriencontan-1-ol, methyl octacosanoate, beta-sitosterol, beta-sitosterol glucoside. Structures of all the compounds were established on the basis of MS and 1D and 2D NMR spectral data, as well as comparison with reported data.  相似文献

A set of two diastereomers of phenylcyano glycosides, (7S)- and (7R)-phenylcyanomethyl 1'-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1, 2), were isolated from the methanol extract of dried vines of P. quadrangularis. The absolute configurations of the benzylic methine centers were determined mainly by the comparison of 13C NMR spectra of these compounds, prunasin (3) and sambunigrin (4), of which the last two cyanoglycosides are known to have (R)- and (S)-configurations, respectively.  相似文献

Four new non-glycosidic iridoids, piscrocins D (1), E (2), F (6), and G (7), as well as two new iridoid glycosides, piscrosides A (8) and B (9), were isolated from the roots of Neopicrorhiza scrophulariiflora (Scrophulariaceae), together with seven known iridoids. The structures of the isolated compounds were established by means of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy and chemical methods. The hepatoprotective activities of these compounds were evaluated by measuring their effects on CCl(4)-induced hepatocytes damage in vitro, and the structure-activity relationships were also discussed.  相似文献

Further investigation of different fractions from Lotus polyphyllos Clarke roots resulted in the isolation of the new 3-arylcoumarin derivative; 4',6'-dihydroxy-7, 2'-dimethoxy-3-arylcoumarin (5). In addition, the known compounds beta-sitosterol, 1-hexacosanol (1), n-tetracosyl p-coumarate (2), 4'-O-methylderrone (4), and quercetin (6) were identified. From the epigeal part ofVerbascum georgicum Benth., in addition to aucubin, as the main component of the total iridoids a new iridoid has been isolated — 6-α-L-(4′-p-methoxy-trans-cinnamoyl)rhamnopyranosylcatalpol, the structure of which has been shown by UV, PMR, and mass spectroscopy and a comparison of the13C NMR spectrum with that of 6-α-L-rhamnopyranosylcatalpol (I). Two new iridoid glucosides, verbenabraside A (1) and verbenabraside B (2), were isolated from the aerial parts of Verbena brasiliensis VELL., along with six known iridoid glucosides, gelsemiol 3-O-beta-D-glucoside (3), verbraside (4), 9-hydroxysemperoside (5), griselinoside (6), aralidioside (7), and 6alpha-hydroxyforsythide dimethyl ester (8), three known phenylethanoid glycosides, 2-phenylethyl O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (9), acteoside (10), and leucosceptoside A (11), two known lignan glucosides, dihydroxymethyl-bis(3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl) tetrahydrofuran-9 (or 9')-O-beta-glucopyranoside (12) and (+)-lyoniresinol 3alpha-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (13), a known methyl salicylate glucoside, methyl 2-O-beta-D-glucopyranosylbenzoate (14), and two known sterols, beta-sitosterol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (15) and beta-sitosterol (16). Their chemical structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic data. Compound 1 exhibited stronger scavenging effect on the stable free radical 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl than that of alpha-tocopherol.  相似文献

Three new diarylheptanoids, called alpinnanins A-C (1-3), together with two known chalcones, 2',4'-dihydroxy-6'-methoxychalcone and 4',6'-dimethylchalconaringenin, two known flavanones, alpinetin and naringenin 5-O-methyl ether, a known diarylheptanoid, (3S,5S)-trans-3,5-dihydroxy-1,7-diphenyl-1-heptene, stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol as a mixture, and beta-sitosterol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside were isolated from the rhizomes of Alpinia pinnanensis T. Antimutagenic activity-guided fractionation of an extract prepared from the thorns of Gleditsia sinensis LAM. led to the isolation of one triterpenoid and four steroids, which were identified as D:C-friedours-7-en-3-one (1), stigmast-4-ene-3,6-dione (2), stigmastane-3,6-dione (3), stigmasterol (4), and beta-sitosterol (5). Triterpenoid 1 was found for the first time in a natural source and the steroids 2-5 were first isolated from this plant. Stigmasterol was the most active antimutagen, showing 51.2% and 64.2% reduction of the induction factor against the mutagens MNNG and NQO, respectively, in the SOS chromotest. Some NMR data of the steroids 2 and 3 obtained have to be revised.  相似文献

Five sesquiterpenes, dehydrocostus lactone (1), santamarine (5), beta-cyclocostunolide (6), 4alpha-hydroxy-4beta-methyldihydrocostol (7) and 10alpha-hydroxyl-artemisinic acid (9), along with four other compounds, beta-sitosterol (2), daucosterol (3), 5-hydroxymethyl-furaldehyde (4), and trans-syingin (8), were isolated and identified from the roots of Saussurea lappa (Compositae). Based on previous reports and our study, sesquiterpene derivatives are common and characteristic constituents of the genus Saussurea. Among the nine compounds obtained, 9 is a new sesquiterpene. It is an artemisinic acid derivative, whose structural skeleton has not been reported for Saussurea species before, but artemisinic acid is a common compound in another Compositae species, Artemisia annua. Dehydrocostus lactone (1) is present in high-content and is a possible bioprecursor of 10alpha-hydroxyartemisinic acid (9).  相似文献

Sixteen compounds were isolated from the fresh roots of Piper sarmentosum. Seven of these have been previously isolated from the fruits and leaves of this plant: the aromatic alkene (1), 1-allyl-2-methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxybenzene (4), beta-sitosterol, pyrrole amide (6), sarmentine (10), sarmentosine (13) and pellitorine (14). (+)-Sesamin (2), horsfieldin (3), two pyrrolidine amides 11 and 12, guineensine (15) and brachystamide B (16) are new for P. sarmentosum. Sarmentamide A, B, and C (7-9) are new natural products. Compounds 1--4 and 6--16 were tested for antiplasmodial, antimycobacterial and antifungal activities.  相似文献

Two new iridoids 1,3-dimethyloxy-7-hydroxymethyl-4-(3-methyl-butyryloxymethyl)-1-hydrocyclopenta-4,7-diene[c]pyran-6-one (1) and 1,3-dimethyloxy-7-hydroxymethyl-4-methyloxymethyl-1-hydrocyclopenta-4,7-diene[c]pyran-6-one (2) were isolated from the roots of Patrinia scabra Bunge. Investigation of the aerial parts of the medicinal plant Hypericum laricifolium led to the isolation of two new natural products, hentriacontanyl caffeate (1a), nonacosanyl caffeate (1b). In addition, stigmasterol, beta-sitosterol, 3-epi-betulinic acid (2), caffeic acid (3), ferulic acid, docosanol, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dimethoxy benzoic acid, quercetin (4), quercetin-3-O-galactoside (5), quercetin-3-O-rutinoside (6), quercetin-3-O-rhamnoside (7), quercetin-3-O-glucuronide (8) and shikimic acid were also isolated. The structures were determined by 1D- and 2D-NMR, mass spectrometry, and chemical transformations. The anti-inflammatory effects of the isolated compounds were discussed briefly.  相似文献
