Compounds 1-6 were isolated from the AcOEt soluble fraction of leaves of the Brazilian medicinal plant, Cordia multispicata, and their structures were elucidated to be 3beta,25-epoxy-21beta-acetoxy-3alpha,22beta-dihydroxyurs-12-en-28-al (1), 3beta,25-epoxy-28-acetoxy-3alpha,21beta,22beta-trihydroxyurs-12-ene (2), 21beta-acetoxy-22beta-hydroxy-3-oxours-12-en-28-al (3), 28-acetoxy-6beta, 21beta,22beta-trihydroxy-3-oxours-12-ene (4), 21beta,22beta-dihydroxy-3-oxours-1 2-en-28-al (5) and 3beta,21beta,22beta-trihydroxyurs-I2-en-28-al (6), respectively, by means of spectral data, especially two dimensional NMR techniques. Triterpenes having the hemiketal structure at the A-ring, an acyloxy group at C-22 and/or ketone at C-3 showed potent anti-androgenic activity.  相似文献

Grignard-reaction of pregnenolone-3β-acetate with pentan-2-one ethylene ketal-5-magnesium bromide and subsequent dehydration yielded 27-nor-25-oxocholesta-5,20 (22)-dien-3β-yl acetate which was hydrogenated to 27-nor-25-oxocholest-5-en-3β-yl acetate and 27-nor-25-oxocholestan-3β-yl acetate.  相似文献

Investigation of the acetone extract of the whole plant of Euphorbia tuckeyana afforded a new cycloartane-type triterpene named as cyclotucanol. Its structure was established as cycloartane-24-methylene-3beta,25-diol (1). The known cycloartane triterpenes cycloeucalenol (2), 3beta-hydroxycycloart-25-en-24-one (3), cycloart-25-ene-3beta,24-diol (4), 25,26,27-trisnor-3beta-hydroxycycloartan-24-al (5) and cycloart-23-ene-3beta,25-diol (6) were also isolated and identified.  相似文献

Two new epoxy steroids, 5α,8α-epidioxy-22β,23β-epoxyergosta-6-en-3β-ol (1) and 5α,8α-epidioxy-22α,23α-epoxyergosta-6-en-3β-ol (2), and ten known steroids including (24R)-5α,8α-epidioxyergosta-6-en-3β-ol (3), (22E,24R)-5α,8α-epidioxyergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol (4), (22E,24R)-5α,8α-epidioxyergosta-6,9(11),22-trien-3β-ol (5), β-sitosterol (6), sitost-5-en-3β-ol acetate (7), 7α-hydroxysitosterol (8), schleicheol 2 (9), (24R)-24-ethyl-5α-cholestane-3β,5α,6β-triol (10), 7α-hydroxystigmasterol (11), and stigmasterol (12) were isolated from Helianthus tuberosus grown in Laizhou salinized land of coastal zone of Bohai Sea, China. The structures of these compounds were unambiguously established by 1D, 2D NMR and mass spectroscopic techniques. The new compounds 1 and 2 exhibited weak antibacterial activity and no antifungal activity.  相似文献

Six new ent-kaurane-type diterpenoids were isolated from the leaves of the endemic Vietnamese medicinal plant Croton tonkinensis GAGNEP. (Euphorbiaceae) together with three known ent-11alpha-acetoxy-7beta,14alpha-dihydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (1), ent-kaur-16-en-15-one 18-oic acid (5) and ent-18-hydroxykaur-16-ene (7). Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analyses to be ent-7beta-acetoxy-11alpha-hydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (2), ent-18-acetoxy-11alpha-hydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (3), ent-11alpha-acetoxykaur-16-en-18-oic acid (4), ent-15alpha,18-dihydroxykaur-16-ene (6), ent-11alpha,18-diacetoxy-7beta-hydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (8), and ent-(16S)-1alpha,14alpha-diacetoxy-7beta-hydroxy-17-methoxykauran-15-one (14). ent-Kaurane-type diterpenoids from Croton tonkinensis 2-4, 6, and 9-13, were tested for toxicity in the brine shrimp lethality assay. Compounds 9, 10, and 12 demonstrated significant activity, compounds 2, 3, 6, and 11 showed weak activity, and compounds 4 and 13 were inactive.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigations on the methanolic extract of Melicope ptelefolia Champ ex Benth. resulted in the isolation of three new compounds, identified as 3beta-stigmast-5-en-3-ol butyl tridecanedioate (melicoester) (1), (2Z, 6Z, 10Z, 14Z, 18Z, 22Z, 26E)-3', 7', 11', 15', 19', 23', 27', 31'-octamethyldotriaconta-2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30-octadecanoate (melicopeprenoate) (2) and p-O-geranyl-7"-acetoxy coumaric acid (3). The compounds were isolated along with twenty-one other known compounds, lupeol (4), oleanolic acid (5), kokusaginine (6) genistein (7), p-O-geranyl coumaric acid (8), 4-stigmasten-3-one (9), 3beta-hydroxystigma-5-en-7-one (10) cis-phytyl palmitate (11), dodecane, dodecan-1-ol, ceryl alcohol, hentriacontanoic acid, eicosane, n-amyl alcohol, caprylic alcohol, octatriacontane, nonatriacontane, hexatriencontan-1-ol, methyl octacosanoate, beta-sitosterol, beta-sitosterol glucoside. Structures of all the compounds were established on the basis of MS and 1D and 2D NMR spectral data, as well as comparison with reported data.  相似文献

A new pyrrolidine derivative, 3-hydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)-4-(4'-hydroxyphenoxy)pyrrolidin-2-one (1), and eight known steroids, (22E,24R)-7beta,8beta-epoxy-3beta,5alpha,9alpha-trihydroxyergosta-22-en-6-one (2, a reassigned structure of (22E,24R)-5alpha,6alpha-epoxy-3beta,8beta,14alpha-trihydroxyergosta-22-en-7-one), (22E,24R)-3beta,5alpha,9alpha-trihydroxyergosta-7,22-dien-6-one (3), (22E,24R)-3beta,5alpha-dihydroxyergosta-7,22-dien-6-one (4), (22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-dien-3beta/,5alpha,6beta-triol (5), (22E,24R)-ergosta-5,22-dien-3beta-ol (6), (22E,24R)-5alpha,8alpha-epidioxyergosta-6,22-dien-3beta-ol (7), (22E,24R)-5alpha,8alpha-epidioxyergosta-6,9(11),22-trien-3beta-ol (8), and (22E,24R)-1(10 --> 6)-abeo-ergosta-5,7,9,22-tetraen-3alpha-ol (9), were isolated from the cultures of Gibberella zeae, an endophytic fungus isolated from the marine green alga Codium fragile. Their structures and relative stereochemistry were elucidated by 1D, 2D NMR and mass spectroscopic techniques. Compound 1 showed cytotoxicity against A-549 and BEL-7402 cell lines.  相似文献

A phytochemical reinvestigation of the whole plant of Euphorbia segetalis yielded five tetracyclic triterpenes: 3beta-hydroxy-cycloart-25-en-24-one (1), cycloart-25-ene-3beta,24-diol (2), cycloart-23-ene-3beta,25-diol (3), lanosta-7,9(11),24-trien-3beta-ol (4) and lanosta-7,9(11),24(31)-trien-3beta-ol (5). beta-acetoxy-cycloart-25-en-24-one (1a) and glutinol (6), lupenone (7), dammaranodienol (9), cycloartenol acetate (10), 24-methylenecycloartanol acetate (11) and beta-sitosterol (12), isolated previously, were evaluated for their antiviral activities against Herpes simplex virus (HSV) and African swine fever virus (ASFV). Lupenone exhibited strong viral plaque inhibitory effect against HSV-1 and HSV-2. The in vitro antifungal and antibacterial activities of la, cycloart-23-ene-3beta,25-diol, 3-acetate (3a) and 6-12 were also investigated.  相似文献

From the resins of Commiphora kua a novel bisabolene; 6-hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(5'-hydroxy-1'(R),5'-dimethylhex-3'-enyl)-phenol together with two new dammarane triterpenes, 3beta,16beta,20(S),25-tetrahydroxydammar-23-ene and 3beta-acetoxy-16beta,20(S),25-trihydroxydammar-23-ene, have been isolated. In addition, being reported are known compounds identified as 2-methyl-5-(4'(S)-hydroxy-1'(R),5'-dimethylhex-5'-enyl)-phenol, 2-acetoxyfuranodienone, 2-methoxyfuranodienone, 3beta,16beta,20(R)-trihydroxydammar-24-ene and its acetate derivative, 3beta-acetoxy-16beta,20(R)-dihydroxydammar-24-ene, and beta-amyrin and its acetate derivative. 2-Methyl-5-(4'(S)-hydroxy-1'(R),5'-dimethylhex-5'-enyl)-phenol displayed fungicidal activity against Cladosporium cucumernum on TLC assay.  相似文献

Extensive chromatographic screening of extracts of the fruits of the Indian Ayurvedic plant, Dendrophthoe falcata, resulted in the isolation of three new triterpenes, 3beta-acetoxy-1beta-(2-hydroxy-2-propoxy)-11alpha-hydroxy-olean-12-ene (1), 3beta-acetoxy-11alpha-ethoxy-1beta-hydroxy-olean-12-ene (2) and 3beta-acetoxy-1beta-hydroxy-11alpha-methoxy-olean-12-ene (3) along with nine known compounds, 3beta-acetoxy-1beta,11alpha-dihydroxy-olean-12-ene (4), 3beta-acetoxy-1beta,11alpha-dihydroxy-urs-12-ene (5), 3beta-acetoxy-urs-12-ene-11-one (6), 3beta-acetoxy-lup-20(29)-ene (7), 30-nor-lup-3beta-acetoxy-20-one (8), (20S)-3beta-acetoxy-lupan-29-oic acid (9), kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (10), quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (11), and gallic acid (12). The structures of these compounds were determined using 1D and 2D NMR and high resolution electrospray mass spectrometry. These compounds were assayed for binding to estrogen receptors-alpha and beta and kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (10) was found to be a ligand for both receptors with greater affinity for beta. The triterpenes (1-9) are reported for the first time in the genus Dendrophthoe and assumes taxonomic significance.  相似文献

Identification of short side chain sterols in the sponge Damiriana hawaiiana The steroidal composition of the sponge Damiriana hawaiiana is examined. Twenty-seven components are identified. In addition to the C26-C29, Δ5-mono and diunsaturated sterols, the sponge contains sterols without side-chain: androsta-5, 16-dien-3β-ol( 1 ), androst-5-en-3β-ol( 2 ); sterols with a non-functionalized side-chain consisting of two, three, four, five and six carbon atoms: pregna-5, 20-dien-3β-ol( 5 ), pregn-5-en-3β-ol( 6 ), 23, 24-bisnor-chola-5, 20-dien-3β-ol( 7 ), 23, 24-bisnor-chol-5-en-3β-ol( 8 ), 24-nor-chol-5-en-3β-ol( 10 ), chol-5-en-3β-ol( 11 ), 26, 27-bisnor-cholest-5-en-3β-ol( 12 ), and sterols possessing a short oxygenated side-chain such as 3β-hydroxy-androst-5-en-17-one( 3 ), androst-5-en-3β, 17β-diol( 4 ) and 3β-hydroxy-26, 27-bisnor-22-trans-cholesta-5, 22-dien-24-one( 14 ). The probable biological or dietary origin rather than artifact production of these hitherto undescribed components from marine sources is supported by their relatively high concentration and their relative proportions, both very different from those expected for autoxidation.  相似文献

Fractionation of a steam distilled residue of Commiphora confusa resin has yielded four novel dammarane triterpenes characterised as (20S)-3beta-acetoxy-12beta,16beta-trihydroxydammar-24-ene, (20S)-12beta,16beta-trihydroxydammar-24-ene-3beta-O-beta-glucopyranoside, (20S)-3beta-acetoxy-12beta,16beta,25-tetrahydroxydammar-23-ene, and (20S)-3beta,12beta,16beta,25-pentahydroxydammar-23-ene. The known compounds beta-amyrin, 3beta-amyrinacetate, 2-methoxyfuranodienone, 2-acetoxyfuranodienone, (20R)-3beta-acetoxy-16beta-dihydroxydammar-24-ene, (20R)-3beta,16beta-trihydroxydammar-24-ene, 3beta-acetoxy-16beta-hydroxydammar-24-ene, 3beta-hydroxydammar-24-ene, 3beta-acetoxydammar-24-ene, and beta-sistosterol were also isolated from the same extract. The structures of the compounds were determined using spectroscopic, physical, and chemical methods.  相似文献

Bioassay-guided fractionation of a MeOH extract of the whole plant of Aceriphyllum rossii (Saxifragaceae) led to the isolation of two new triterpenes, 3alpha,23-isopropylidenedioxyolean-12-en-27-oic acid (1) and 23-hydroxy-3-oxoolean-12-en-27-oic acid (2), together with six known triterpenes, 3-oxoolean-12-en-27-oic acid (3), 3alpha-hydroxyolean-12-en-27-oic acid (4), beta-peltoboykinolic acid (5), aceriphyllic acid A (6), oleanolic acid (7), and gypsogenic acid (8). The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic analyses. These compounds were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxicity against the K562 and HL-60 cell lines. Olean-12-en-27-oic acid derivatives (1-6) exhibited considerable cytotoxicity against K562 and HL-60 cell lines with IC(50) values ranging from 12.2 to 28.7 microM and from 12.1 to 25.8 microM, respectively.  相似文献

Two furostanol saponins were obtained from the rhizomes of Tupistra chinensis Bak. Their structures were determined as 5beta-furost-delta(25(27))-en-1beta,2beta,3beta,4beta,5beta,7alpha,22xi,26-octaol-6-one-26-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) and 5beta-furost-delta(25(27))-en-1beta,2beta,3beta,4beta,5beta,6beta,7alpha,22xi,26-nonaol-26-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2), on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence. Both compounds displayed marked inhibitory action against NO production in rat abdomen macrophages induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) at 40 microg/mL.  相似文献

Complete (1)H and (13)C spectral assignments for the four major steroidal saponins isolated by methanolic extraction of the roots of Dioscorea villosa, collected in North Carolina, United States (in summer and autumn), are presented in this paper. The structures were determined by a combination of (1)H, (13)C and 2D NMR techniques and were found to be ((3beta,25R)-26-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-22-methoxyfurost-5-en-3-yl-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 3)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) (or methyl parvifloside), ((3beta,25R)-26-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-22 methoxyfurost-5-en-3-yl-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)-O-[beta-D-gluco- pyranosyl-(1 --> 4)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2) (or methyl protodeltonin), (3beta,25R)-spirost-5-en-3-yl-O-beta-D-glucopy ranosyl-(1 --> 3)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3) (or Zingiberensis saponin I) and (3beta,25R)-spirost-5-en-3-yl-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)-O-[beta-Ds-glucopyranosyl -(1 --> 4)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4) (or deltonin).  相似文献

Eucosterol and 16 β-hydroxy-eucosterol which have been isolated from several Eucomis species have been shown to be (23S)-17,23-epoxy-3β,31-dihydroxy-27-nor-5α-lanost-8-ene-15,24-dione ( 1 ) and (23 S)-17,23-epoxy-3β,16β,31-trihydroxy-27-nor-5α-lanost-8-ene-15,24-dione ( 2 ) by chemical transformations and spectral data. The spiro-fused furanoic ether linkage of both metabolites represents a novel structural element for natural nortriterpenes. The structure of another metabolite ( 16 ), 3β-hydroxy-4β-hydroxymethyl-4,14α-dimethyl-15-oxo-24-nor-5α-chola-8,16-diene-23-oic acid, from Eucomis autumnalis (Mill.) Nuclear prenylation of naringenin (7) with 2-methylbut-3-en-2-ol in the presence of boron trifluoride etherate gives a mixture of 6-C-prenyl-(11), 8-C-prenyl-(15) and 6,8-di-C-prenyl-(8) derivatives. On formic acid cyclisation, 11 yielded two monodihydropyrans (12 and 13), but 15 afforded only one viz 16; similarly 8 formed the bisdihydropyran 10. Methylation of 8-C-prenyl naringenin (15) with Me2SO4 resulted in the formation of di-O-methyl derivatives of xanthohumol (22) and isoxanthohumol (23).

Cyclodehydrogenation of 6,8-di-C-prenyl-naringenin (8) with DDQ gave a mono-C-prenyl-2,2-dimethylpyran (1) corresponding to (±) lupinifolin. The angular isomer (2) was also formed. The structure of natural flemichin-B therefore needs further consideration. Similarly, cyclodehydrogenation of 6-C-(11)- and 8-C-prenyl-(15) naringenins afforded the corresponding linear (24) and angular (25) derivatives which have been characterized by conversion into known chalcones 26 and 27 by O-methylation.  相似文献
