Condensation of X-benzaldehyde with (R)-2-amino-2-phenylethanol gives the enantiopure Schiff bases (R)-2-(X-benzaldimine)-2-phenylethanol (X?=?H, HL1; 2,4-dimethoxy, HL2). The Schiff bases coordinate with dinuclear [Rh(η4-cod)(µ-O2CCH3)]2 to afford the cationic complexes [Rh(η4-cod){(R)-2-(benzaldimine)-2-phenylethanol-κ 2 N,O}](acetate), [Rh(η4-cod)(HL1)](ac) (1) and [Rh(η4-cod){(R)-2-(2,4-dimethoxy-benzaldimine)-2-phenylethanol-κ 2 N,O}](acetate), [Rh(η4-cod)(HL2)](ac) (2), respectively. The Schiff bases and complexes are isolated as solids in good yields and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, 1H/13C-NMR, mass spectroscopy, and polarimetry.  相似文献

Rate constants have been measured at room temperature for the reactions of Cl atoms with formic acid and with the HOCO radical: Cl + HCOOH → HCl + HOCO (R1) Cl + HOCO → HCl + CO2 (R2) Cl atoms were generated by flash photolysis of Cl2 and the progress of reaction was followed by time‐resolved infrared absorption measurements using tunable diode lasers on the CO2 that was formed either in the pair of reactions ( R1 ) plus ( R2 ), or in reaction ( R1 ) followed by O2 + HOCO → HO2 + CO2 (R3) In a separate series of experiments, conditions were chosen so that the kinetics of CO2 formation were dominated either by the rate of reaction ( R1 ) or by that of reactions ( R1 ) and ( R2 ) combined. The results of our analysis of these experiments yielded: k1 = (1.83 ± 0.12) × 10−13 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 k2 = (4.8 ± 1.0) × 10−11 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The structure of lipid A from the marine γ-proteobacterium Pseudoalteromonas nigrifaciens IAM 13010T that was prepared by hydrolysis of the corresponding lipopolysaccharide by acetic acid (1%) was determined by chemical analysis, 13C NMR spectroscopy, and MALDI/TOF and LSIMS mass spectrometry. It was shown that lipid A is a β-1,6-bonded disaccharide of glucosamine that is substituted by two phosphoric acids (in the C1 and C4′ positions), two (R)-3-hydroxyalkanoic (normal and branched) acids with ester bonding (at the C3 and C3′-positions), and (R)-3-hydroxydodecanoic and (R)-3-dodecanoyloxydodecanoic acids (both with amide bonding at C2′ and C2, respectively). Abstract

A highly sensitive sandwich enzyme immunoassay (EIA) for human ferritin was developed using rabbit anti-ferritin IgG-coated polystyrene balls and affinity-purified rabbit anti-ferritin Fab' labelled with β-D-galactosidase from Escherichia coli and compared with the corresponding sandwich radioimmuno assay (RIA). The specific and nonspecific binding of labelled anti-ferritin to the polystyrene balls were examined in relation to the amount of labelled anti-ferritin used per tube, and the highest sensitivity of each immunoassay (0.2 amol/tube in EIA and 2.5 amol/tube in RIA) was obtained by using the minimal amount of the corresponding labelled anti-ferritin (0.71 fmol in EIA and 4.5 fmol=4436 cpm in RIA) which gave a reliable calibration curve. The sandwich RIA was less sensitive, largely because the specific radioactivity of 125I-labelled anti-ferritin used was not sufficiently high.  相似文献

Reactions of the platinum(IV) nitrile complexes [PtCl4(RCN)2] (R = Me, CH2Ph, Ph) with 1,2- and 1,4-PhS(=NH)C6H4SPh in CH2Cl2 afforded addition products of sulfimides and coordinated nitriles, viz., the [PtCl4{NH=C(R)N=S(Ph)(C6H4SPh)}2] complexes. The latter were isolated in 75—90% yields and characterized by elemental analysis, positive-ion FAB mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy, and 1H and 13C1H NMR spectroscopy. The temperature dependence of the 1H NMR spectra of the model [PtCl4{NH=C(R)N=SPh2}2] complexes (R = Me, Et) in CD2Cl2 studied in a temperature range from +40 to -70 °C demonstrated that EZ isomerization of the ligands is a dynamic process in a range from +40 to -10 °C. A microbial strain, Vagococcus sp. B32, was isolated and applied to degrade p-chloronitrobenzene (p-CNB) in aqueous solutions. Three degradation methods: biodegradation, direct γ-irradiation and 60Co-γ pre-irradiation with biodegradation by B32 were carried out. The decrease of p-CNB and the net increase of Cl were investigated to evaluate the degradation efficiency. The preliminary results showed that the combined method of pre-irradiation with biodegradation of B32 was more effective than the two others.  相似文献

Rare gas hydride molecules and triatomic hydrogen molecules were produced in a Cossart-type plasma beam Penning tube specially designed for laser spectroscopic work. A cw dye laser was used to stimulate transitions from theB 2 rovibrational levels to theA 2+ levels of argonhydride (40ArH) and argondeuteride (40ArD). The transitions were detected by measuring the decrease of the spontaneous emission from the upper levels, which clearly shows the expected population inversion between the two participating electronic states. With this first laserspectroscopic work on argonhydride and argon deuteride, the classification of the lines of theB 2 A 2+ band as given by Johns 1970 could be checked and was found to be consistent*. Furthermore theQ branches of these bands for ArH and ArD could be completely resolved into their single lines and their wavelengths were measured. The latter allowed the difference between the rotational constants of theA andB electronic states to be directly determined. The method was also applied to triatomic hydrogen. D3. The 13C, 15N CP MAS NMR and FT-IR spectra of dioxomolybdenum (VI) complexes of trans-N,N′-bis-(R-salicylidene)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine (R=H, R=3,5-diCl, R=3,5-diBr, R=4,6-diOCH3), trans-N,N′-bis-(2-OH-naphthylidene)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine and trans-N-(salicylidene)-N′-(2-OH-naphthylidene)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine have been measured. Comparative analysis of the NMR and IR spectra of the complexes with those of the corresponding ligands has shown that the complexation of the di-Schiff bases leads to changes in the conformation of the ligands and the charge redistribution. The asymmetric structure and non-planar structure of the complexes have been suggested.  相似文献

The reactions of isatin, benzotriazole, and succinimide with formaldehyde and methylamine yield monoamines RCH2N(Me)CH2R and methylenediamines RCH2N(Me)CH2N(Me)CH2R. The use of ethylenediamine as the amino component affords N,N"-disubstituted imidazolidines, while the reactions with 3-aminopropan-1-ol give N-substituted tetrahydro-1,3-oxazines. RCH2NBui 2 was obtained from succinimide, formaldehyde, and diisobutylamine. Nitrosative cleavage of the amines obtained was studied; it was shown that monoamines and methylenediamines give N-nitrosoamines RCH2N(NO)Me, which were structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. RCH2NBui 2 affords diisobutylnitrosamine, while imidazolidines transform into dinitroso compounds RCH2N(NO)CH2CH2N(NO)CH2R.  相似文献

The preparation of the pure tetratriacontapeptide amide 2 (human big gastrin I) and the analogue Leu32-human big gastrin I from the crude synthetic materials obtained after deblocking of the overall protected tetratriacontapeptide amide derivatives by means of trifluoroacetic acid is described. The criteria for homogeneity obtained by chromatographic, electrophoretic, enzymatic and spectroscopic methods are reported.

An efficient procedure was developed for the asymmetric synthesis ofS-alkyl derivatives of (R)-cysteine by nucleophilic addition of alkanethiols (BunSH, ButSH, ortert-C5H11SH) to the C=C bond of the dehydroalanine fragment in the NiII complex of the Schiff's base of Δ-Ala with (S)-2-N-(N-benzylprolyl)aminobenzophenone [(S)-BPB-Δ-Ala]NiII. Under conditions of thermodynamic control of the reaction, the diastereomeric excess of the complexes with the (S.R)-configuration was 88–96%. After decomposition of the complexes,(R)-S-butylcysteine,(R)-S-tert-butylcysteine, and(R)-S-tert-pentylcysteine were isolated with an enantiomeric purity of >97%. Published inIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. In mass spectrometry (MS)-based metabolomics studies, reference-free identification of metabolites is still a challenging issue. Previously, we demonstrated that the elemental composition (EC) of metabolites could be unambiguously determined using isotopic fine structure, observed by ultrahigh resolution MS, which provided the relative isotopic abundance (RIA) of 13C, 15N, 18O, and 34S. Herein, we evaluated the efficacy of the RIA for determining ECs based on the MS peaks of 20,258 known metabolites. The metabolites were simulated with a ≤25% error in the isotopic peak area to investigate how the error size effect affected the rate of unambiguous determination of the ECs. The simulation indicated that, in combination with reported constraint rules, the RIA led to unambiguous determination of the ECs for more than 90% of the tested metabolites. It was noteworthy that, in positive ion mode, the process could distinguish alkali metal-adduct ions ([M + Na]+ and [M + K]+). However, a significant degradation of the EC determination performance was observed when the method was applied to real metabolomic data (mouse liver extracts analyzed by infusion ESI), because of the influence of noise and bias on the RIA. To achieve ideal performance, as indicated in the simulation, we developed an additional method to compensate for bias on the measured ion intensities. The method improved the performance of the calculation, permitting determination of ECs for 72% of the observed peaks. The proposed method is considered a useful starting point for high-throughput identification of metabolites in metabolomic research.  相似文献

In thermal reactions of the doubly bridged dicyclopentadienes (C5H3R(SiMe2))(C5H3R(GeMe2)) (R=H (1), tBu (5)) with Mo(CO)6, the bridging GeMe2 is cleaved to give the corresponding degermylated products [(η5-C5H3R)2(SiMe2)]Mo2(CO)6 (3, rac-7), or both GeMe2 and SiMe2 are cleaved to afford the nonbridged products [(η5-C5H4R)Mo(CO)3]2 (2, 6). The reactions also produce germylidyne trimolybdenum clusters [(η5-C5H3R)2(SiMe2)](η5-C5H4R)[Mo(CO)2]3(μ3-GeMe) (4, rac-/meso-7) containing the Mo3(μ3-GeMe) units. Similarly, reaction of the single GeMe2-bridged dicyclopentadienes (C5H5)2GeMe2 (9) with Mo(CO)6 also results in the degermylated 2, as well as the similar trimolybdenum cluster [(η5-C5H5)Mo(CO)2]3(μ3-GeMe) (10). The molecular structures of 4 and trans-5 were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A comparative study of complexation of acids R2N(CH2)nCR"(PO3H2)2 (R = H or Me; R" = OH or H; n = 1 or 2) with the Ca2+, Mg2+, Zn2+, and Cu2+ cations in aqueous solutions was carried out by vibrational (IR and Raman) and electronic spectroscopy using the data of ESR spectroscopy and conformational analysis (molecular mechanics). The MOPCPO chelate ring is formed in all ML and MHL complexes. The involvement of the N atom in coordination was found only in the Cu2+ complexes and is determined by the structure of the ligand. The relationship between the stability constants and the structures of the complexes in aqueous solutions is analyzed.  相似文献

The 1H NMR chemical shifts and the spin-spin coupling constants of the non-exchangeable protons of the N-terminal 13-residue C-peptide of ribonuclease A, obtained by cleavage of the enzyme with cyanogen bromide, have been measured in a 5 mM solution in D2O (pH 3.0, 24°C) at 360 MHz. The titration parameters for end groups (Lys-1 and homo-Ser-13) and side chains (Lys-1, Glu-2, Lys-7, Glu-9 and His-12) have been determined. The chemical shifts, their temperature coefficients and the vicinal coupling constants, 3J(HNCH-α), for the exchangeable NH protons have been measured in a 5 mM solution in D2O/H2O (1:9 v/v) at pH 3.0. An assignment of observed signals to individual residue protons based on characteristic shifts, standard double resonance experiments, spectral simulations and titration shifts is proposed. All experimental evidence indicates that under the conditions studied the C-peptide is in a random coil form.  相似文献

O-Ethyl alkynylphosphonites [EtOP(O)(H)CэCR] (1 and2) react withp-bromobenzaldehyde and benzylamine to form the usual acyclic products of the Kabachnik-Fields reaction or phosphorus-containing heterocycles depending on the nature of the substituent R at the β-carbon atom of the acetylene fragment of phosphonite. In the case of R=But,O-ethyl (α-benzylamino-p-bromobenzyl)(3,3-dimethylbut-1-ynyl)phosphinate (3) was obtained. In the case of R=Me, 1-benzyl-2-p-bromophenyl-3-ethoxy-5-methyl-3-oxo-Δ4-1,3-λ5-azaphospholine (4) was formed. Rare-earth chromium borates RCr3(BO3)4, where R = La-Er, obtained as a result of spontaneous solutionmelt crystallization and belonging to two polytypic modifications (R32 (D37) and C2/c (C 2h 6) space groups) are studied by infrared spectroscopy with the factor group analysis of vibrations. Borates with R = La-Nd are shown to crystallize in the monoclinic C2/c space group. Borates with R = Sm-Er in the 1:1 ratio of batch and solvent form rhombohedral (R32 space group) and monoclinic (C2/c space group) phases at the 2.3:1 ratio, except EuCr3(BO3)4 and GdCr3(BO3)4 that have the rhombohedral structure under all crystallization conditions. Both rhombohedral and monoclinic polytypes may contain oppositely ordered layers. Y-, Tm-, Yb-, Lu-chromium borates are not formed.  相似文献

The [3 + 2] cycloaddition (32CA) reactions of three nitrile oxides (NOs) (R‐CNO; R = Ph, CO2Me, and Br) with methyl acrylate (MA) have been theoretically studied within the molecular electron density theory. Topological analysis of the electron localization function of these NOs permits to establish that they will participate in zw‐type 32CA reactions. Analysis of the conceptual DFT indices indicates that these zw‐type 32CA reactions will have a low polar character as a consequence of the relatively low electrophilic character of MA and the low nucleophilic character of NOs, in agreement with the global electron density transfer computed at the corresponding TSs. The activation enthalpies associated with these 32CA reactions range from 8.2 to 12.7 kcal·mol?1. The presence of the bromide atom provokes the larger acceleration. While the 32CA reaction involving the CO2Me substituted NO is highly ortho regioselective, the other two reactions are poorly ortho regioselective. A bonding evolution theory study of the more favorable ortho regiosiomeric channel associated with the 32CA reaction involving the Br substituted NO indicates that this reaction is associated to a nonconcerted two‐stage one‐step mechanism, in which the activation energy is mainly related to the initial rupture of the C? N triple bond of the NO.  相似文献

The preferred conformation of aminophosphanes with bulky amino groups ( 1–20 ) was determined by NMR spectroscopy in solution, in two cases in the solid state ( 11,17 ) and in one case ( 11 ) by X‐ray crystallography. Trimethylsilylaminodiphenylphosphanes Ph2PN(R)SiMe3 (R = Bu ( 1 ), Ph ( 2 ), 2‐pyridyl ( 3 ), 2‐pyrimidyl ( 4 ), Me3Si ( 5 )), amino(chloro)phenylphosphanes Ph(Cl)PNRR′ (R = Bz, R′ = Me ( 6 ), R = Bz, R′ = tBu ( 7 ), R = Et, R′ = Ph ( 8 )), amino(chloro)tert‐butylphosphanes tBu(Cl)PNRR′ (R = R′ = iPr ( 9 ), R = Me, R′ = tBu ( 10 ), R = Bz, R′ = tBu ( 11 ), R = H, R′ = tBu ( 12 ), R = Et, R′ = Ph ( 13 ), R = iPr, R′ = Ph ( 14 ), R = Bu, R′ = Ph ( 15 ), R = Bz, R′ = Ph ( 16 ), R = R′ = Ph ( 17 ), R = R′ = Me3Si ( 18 )), 3‐tert‐butyl‐2‐chloro‐1,3,2‐oxazaphospholane ( 19 ), and benzyl(tert‐butyl)aminodichlorophosphane ( 20 ) were studied by 1H, 13C, 15N, 29Si, and 31P NMR spectroscopy. In all cases, the more bulky substituent at the nitrogen atom prefers the syn‐position with respect to the assumed orientation of the phosphorus lone pair of electrons. Many of the derivatives studied adopt this preferred conformation even at room temperature. Numerous signs of coupling constants 1J(31P, 15N), 2J(31P, 13C), and 2J(31P, 29Si) were determined. Low temperature NMR spectra were measured for derivatives for which rotation about the P N bond at room temperature is fast, showing the presence of two rotamers at low temperature. The respective conformation of these rotamers could be assigned by 13C, 15N, and 31P NMR spectroscopy. Isotope‐induced chemical shifts 1Δ15/14N(31P) were determined for all compounds at natural abundance of 15N by using Hahn‐echo extended polarization transfer experiments. The molecular structure of 11 in the solid state reveals pyramidal surroundings of the nitrogen atom and mutual trans‐positions of the tert‐butyl groups at phosphorus and nitrogen. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Abstract

Reactions of the salts K2SN2 and K[(NSN)R] (R = ′Bu, SiMe3 and P′Bu2) with organoelement chlorides R′R′ěl have been used to prepare four series of model sulfur diimides: R′R″E(NSN)ER″R′, ′Bu(NSN)ER″R′, Me3Si(NSN)E″R′ and tBu2P(NSN)ER″R′, respectively (E = C, Si, Ge, Sn; R′ and R″ = alkyl or aryl group). All compounds have been characterized by ′H and 13C NMR and—if possible—by 31P, 29Si and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy. The configuration (Z or E) of the substituents R and E″R′ has been assigned in several cases using tBu(NSN)tBu (1) as a reference. The E,Z assignment of 1H, 13C and 15N nuclei in 1 is based on selectively 1H-decoupled refocused INEPT 15N NMR and two-dimensional (2D) 13C/1H heteronuclear shift correlations. The sulfur diimides under study are in general fluxional in solution.  相似文献
