Bis(trimethylsilyl)diimine (BSD) is reduced by alkali metals (Li, Na, K) in diethyl ether to the dianion (BSD2?) and in tetrahydrofuran to the radical anion (BSD-). The radical anion is thermally unstable and decomposes (a) to nitrogen and bis(trimethylsilyl) amide and (b) to bis(trimethylsilyl) amide, bis(trimethylsilyl) hydrazide and azide. The ratio of the yields of reaction (a) and (b) depends on the alkali metal cation, the temperature and the solvent. 相似文献

Herein the sodium alkylmagnesium amide [Na4Mg2(TMP)6(nBu)2] (TMP=2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidide), a template base as its deprotonating action is dictated primarily by its 12 atom ring structure, is studied with the common N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) IPr [1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene]. Remarkably, magnesiation of IPr occurs at the para‐position of an aryl substituent, sodiation occurs at the abnormal C4 position, and a dative bond occurs between normal C2 and sodium, all within a 20 atom ring structure accommodating two IPr2−. Studies with different K/Mg and Na/Mg bimetallic bases led to two other magnesiated NHC structures containing two or three IPr− monoanions bound to Mg through abnormal C4 sites. Synergistic in that magnesiation can only work through alkali‐metal mediation, these reactions add magnesium to the small cartel of metals capable of directly metalating a NHC. 相似文献

The reaction of the group 9 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [Cp*M(SH)2(PMe3)] (M=Rh, Ir; Cp*=eta(5)-C 5Me5) with the group 6 nitrosyl complexes [Cp*M'Cl2(NO)] (M'=Mo, W) in the presence of NEt3 affords a series of bis(sulfido)-bridged early-late heterobimetallic (ELHB) complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (2a, M=Rh, M'=Mo; 2b, M=Rh, M'=W; 3a, M=Ir, M'=Mo; 3b, M=Ir, M'=W). Similar reactions of the group 10 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [M(SH)2(dppe)] (M=Pd, Pt; dppe=Ph 2P(CH2) 2PPh2), [Pt(SH)2(dppp)] (dppp=Ph2P(CH2) 3PPh2), and [M(SH)2(dpmb)] (dpmb=o-C6H4(CH2PPh2)2) give the group 10-group 6 ELHB complexes [(dppe)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), [(dppp)Pt(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (6a, M'=Mo; 6b, M'=W), and [(dpmb)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), respectively. Cyclic voltammetric measurements reveal that these ELHB complexes undergo reversible one-electron oxidation at the group 6 metal center, which is consistent with isolation of the single-electron oxidation products [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*][PF6] (M=Rh, Ir; M'=Mo, W). Upon treatment of 2b and 3b with ROTf (R=Me, Et; OTf=OSO 2CF 3), the O atom of the terminal nitrosyl ligand is readily alkylated to form the alkoxyimido complexes such as [Cp*Rh(PMe3)(mu-S)2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. In contrast, methylation of the Rh-, Ir-, and Pt-Mo complexes 2a, 3a, and 6a results in S-methylation, giving the methanethiolato complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][BPh 4] (M=Rh, Ir) and [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][OTf], respectively. The Pt-W complex 6b undergoes either S- or O-methylation to form a mixture of [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)W(NO)Cp*][OTf] and [(dppp)Pt(mu-S) 2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. These observations indicate that O-alkylation and one-electron oxidation of the dinuclear nitrosyl complexes are facilitated by a common effect, i.e., donation of electrons from the group 9 or 10 metal center, where the group 9 metals behave as the more effective electron donor. 相似文献

The stoichiometric treatment of 2,6-dibenzylphenol (HOdbp) or 2,2"-dimethoxy-2,6-dibenzylphenol (HOdbpOMe) with n-butyllithium or sodium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide (the latter as a solution in THF) in Et2O or DME affords the dimeric alkali metal phenolates [{M(Odbp)(L)}2] (M = Li; L = Et2O (1), L = DME (2), M = Na; L = Et2O (5), L = DME (6)), [{Li(OdbpOMe)}2] (3) and [{M(OdbpOMe)(L)}2] (M = Li; L = DME (4), M = Na; L = THF (7), L = DME (8)). Complexes 3 and 7 exhibit -OdbpOMe methoxy coordination and all four sodium complexes (5-8) display pi-aryl contacts from one phenolate radial arm to each sodium centre. The attempted synthesis of {Na(odbp)}n by direct sodiation of HOdbp yields a small quantity of the 2-benzylphenolate [{Na(Ombp)(DME)}4] (9) (-Ombp = -OC6H4-2-CH2Ph), providing a rare example of benzyl C-C bond scission. 相似文献

The preparation of two series of [Cu(NHC)2]X complexes (NHC=N-heterocyclic carbene, X=PF6 or BF4) in high yields from readily available materials is reported. These complexes have been spectroscopically and structurally characterized. The activity of these cationic bis-NHC complexes in the hydrosilylation of ketones was examined, and both the ligand and the counterion showed a significant influence on the catalytic performance. Moreover, when compared with related [Cu(NHC)]-based systems, these cationic complexes proved to be more efficient under similar reaction conditions. The activation step of [Cu(NHC)2]X precatalysts towards hydrosilylation was investigated by means of 1H NMR spectroscopy. Notably, it was shown that one of the N,N'-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IPr) ligands in [Cu(IPr)2]BF4 is displaced by tBuO(-) in the presence of NaOtBu, producing the neutral [Cu(IPr)(OtBu)]. This copper alkoxide is known to be a direct precursor of an NHC-copper hydride, the actual active species in this transformation. Furthermore, reagent loading and counterion effects have been rationalized in light of the species formed during the reaction. 相似文献

Ni(II) dihalides bearing two different or identical NHC ligands have been prepared via a controlled indene elimination synthesis, and the former product provides a new route for the design of biscarbene Ni(II)-based catalysts. The indene elimination reaction of the indenynickel(II) complex (1-H-Ind)Ni(NHC)X (Ind = indenyl) with one equiv. of a distinct imidazolium salt at 100 °C afforded the first example of Ni(II) dihalides bearing two different NHC ligands, i.e., Ni(iPr)(IPr)X(2) [iPr = 1,3-diisopropylimidazol-2-ylidene, IPr = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene), X = Cl, 1; X = Br, 2] and Ni(iPr)(IMes)Br(2) [IMes = 1,3-bis(mesityl)imidazol-2-ylidene, 3]. Alternatively, complexes 1-3 can be synthesized using a bis-indenyl Ni(II) complex (1-H-Ind)(2)Ni as starting materials via a step-by-step indene elimination at different reaction temperatures. The direct reaction of (1-R-Ind)(2)Ni (R = H or Me) with two equiv. of imidazolium salts at 100 °C afforded Ni(II) dihalides bearing two identical NHC ligands, i.e., Ni(iPr)X(2) (X = Cl, 4; X = Br, 5) and Ni(IPr)Cl(2) (6). All of these complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography for complexes 1-5. The two identical or different NHC ligands in complexes 1-6 changed the coordination sphere of the nickel center from a typical square-planar geometry to a slightly tetrahedral array. A preliminary catalytic study on the cross-coupling reactions of aryl Grignard reagents with aryl halides revealed that complexes 1 and 2 possess the highest activity. In comparison, complexes 3 and 6 exhibited moderate activity and the least active complexes were 4 and 5. 相似文献

Reactions of MCl(2).nH(2)O with N,N'-bis(D-glucopyranosyl)-1,4,7-triazacyclononane ((D-Glc)(2)-tacn), which was formed from D-glucose and 1,4,7-triazacyclononane (tacn) in situ, afforded a series of mononuclear divalent metal complexes with two beta-D-glucopyranosyl moieties, [M((D-Glc)(2)-tacn)Cl]Cl (M = Zn (11), Cu (12), Ni (13), Co (14)). Complexes 11-14 were characterized by analytical and spectroscopic measurements and X-ray crystallography and were found to have a distorted octahedral M(II) center ligated by the pentacoordinate N-glycoside ligand, (beta-D-glucopyranosyl)(2)-tacn, and a chloride anion. Each D-glucose moiety is tethered to the metal center through the beta-N-glycosidic bond with tacn and additionally coordinated via the C-2 hydroxyl group, resulting in a lambda-gauche five-membered chelate ring. When L-rhamnose (6-deoxy-L-mannose) was used instead of D-glucose, the nickel(II) complex with two beta-L-rhamnopyranosyl moieties, [Ni((D-Man)(2)-tacn)(MeOH)]Cl(2) (15), was obtained and characterized by an X-ray analysis. Reactions of 11 (M = Zn) with [Zn(XDK)(H(2)O)] (21) or [Cu(XDK)(py)(2)] (22) (H(2)XDK = m-xylylenediamine bis(Kemp's triacid imide)) yielded homo and heterotrimetallic complexes formulated as [Zn(2)M'((D-Glc)(2)-tacn)(2)(XDK)]Cl(2) (M' = Zn (31), Cu (32)). The similar reactions of 12 (M = Cu) with complex 21 or 22 afforded [Cu(2)M'((D-Glc)(2)-tacn)(2)(XDK)]Cl(2) (M' = Cu (33), Zn (34)). An X-ray crystallographic study revealed that complexes 31 and 34 have either Zn(II)(3) or Cu(II)Zn(II)Cu(II) trimetallic centers bridged by two carboxylate groups of XDK and two D-glucopyranosyl residues. The M...M' separations are 3.418(3)-3.462(3) A (31) and 3.414(1)-3.460(1) A (34), and the M...M'...M angles are 155.18(8) degrees (31) and 161.56(6) degrees (34). The terminal metal ions are octahedrally coordinated by the (D-Glc)(2)-tacn ligand through three nitrogen atoms of tacn, two oxygen atoms of the C-2 hydroxyl groups of the carbohydrates, and a carboxylate oxygen atom of XDK ligand. The central metal ions sit in a distorted octahedral environment ligated by four oxygen atoms of the carbohydrate residues in the (D-Glc)(2)-tacn ligands and two carboxylate oxygen atoms of XDK. The deprotonated beta-D-glucopyranosyl unit at the C-2 hydroxyl group bridges the terminal and central ions with the C-2 mu-alkoxo group, with the C-1 N-glycosidic amino and the C-3 hydroxyl groups coordinating to each metal center. Complexes 31-34 are the first examples of metal complexes in which D-glucose units act as bridging ligands. These structures could be very useful substrate binding models of xylose or glucose isomerases, which promote D-glucose D-fructose isomerization by using divalent dimetallic centers bridged by a glutamate residue. 相似文献

As previously shown, alkali and alkaline earth metal iodides in nonaqueous, aprotic solvents behave like transition metal halides, forming cis- and trans-dihalides with various neutral O-donor ligands. These compounds can be used as precursors for the synthesis of new mixed alkali/alkaline earth metal aggregates. We show here that Ln2+ ions form isostructural cluster compounds. Thus, with LiOtBu, 50% of the initial iodide can be replaced in MI2, M=Ca, Sr, Ba, Eu, to generate the mixed-metal alkoxide aggregates [IM(OtBu)4{Li(thf)}4(OH)], for which the M--OH contacts were investigated by theoretical methods. With M'OPh (M'=Li, Na), a new mixed-metal aryloxide cluster type [MM'6(OPh)8(thf)6] is obtained for M=Ca, Sr, Ba, Sm, Eu. Their stability versus DME (DME=1,2-dimethoxyethane) as bidentate ligand is studied. 相似文献

We report herein a detailed study of the use of porphyrins fused to imidazolium salts as precursors of N‐heterocyclic carbene ligands 1 M . Rhodium(I) complexes 6 M – 9 M were prepared by using 1 M ligands with different metal cations in the inner core of the porphyrin (M=NiII, ZnII, MnIII, AlIII, 2H). The electronic properties of the corresponding N‐heterocyclic carbene ligands were investigated by monitoring the spectroscopic changes occurring in the cod and CO ancillary ligands of [( 1 M )Rh(cod)Cl] and [( 1 M )Rh(CO)2Cl] complexes (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene). Porphyrin–NHC ligands 1 M with a trivalent metal cation such as MnIII and AlIII are overall poorer electron donors than porphyrin–NHC ligands with no metal cation or incorporating a divalent metal cation such as NiII and ZnII. Imidazolium salts 3 M (M=Ni, Zn, Mn, 2H) have also been used as NHC precursors to catalyze the ring‐opening polymerization of L ‐lactide. The results clearly show that the inner metal of the porphyrin has an important effect on the reactivity of the outer carbene. 相似文献

Coinage metal complexes of the N‐heterocyclic carbene–phosphinidene adduct IPr ? PPh (IPr=1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin‐2‐ylidene) were prepared by its reaction with CuCl, AgCl, and [(Me2S)AuCl], which afforded the monometallic complexes [(IPr ? PPh)MCl] (M=Cu, Ag, Au). The reaction with two equivalents of the metal halides gave bimetallic [(IPr ? PPh)(MCl)2] (M=Cu, Au); the corresponding disilver complex could not be isolated. [(IPr ? PPh)(CuOTf)2] was prepared by reaction with copper(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate. Treatment of [(IPr ? PPh)(MCl)2] (M=Cu, Au) with Na(BArF) or AgSbF6 afforded the tetranuclear complexes [(IPr ? PPh)2M4Cl2]X2 (X=BArF or SbF6), which contain unusual eight‐membered M4Cl2P2 rings with short cuprophilic or aurophilic contacts along the chlorine‐bridged M???M axes. Complete chloride abstraction from [(IPr ? PPh)(AuCl)2] was achieved with two equivalents of AgSbF6 in the presence of tetrahydrothiophene (THT) to form [(IPr ? PPh){Au(THT)}2][SbF6]2. The cationic tetra‐ and dinuclear complexes were used as catalysts for enyne cyclization and carbene transfer reactions. 相似文献

Reduction of an N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) adduct of SnCl(2), viz. [(IPr)SnCl(2)] (IPr = :C{N(Dip)C(H)}(2); Dip = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl), with a magnesium(i) dimer, has afforded the first NHC complex of a row 5 element in its diatomic form, [(IPr)Sn[double bond, length as m-dash]Sn(IPr)]; a computational analysis of the complex indicates that it comprises a singlet state, doubly bonded tin(0) fragment, :Sn[double bond, length as m-dash]Sn:, datively bonded by two NHC ligands. 相似文献

We report the synthesis of coordinatively unsaturated cationic rhodium complexes bearing the sterically encumbered electron-rich NHC ligand IPr*OMe. The COD (1,5-cyclooctadiene) complex [Rh(IPr*OMe)(COD)]BF4 adopts a tilted, pseudo-square planar coordination geometry, where bonding to the ipso-carbon of the NHC aryl substituent was observed in the solid state. Hydrogenation of this complex afforded a metastable dihydride complex [Rh(IPr*OMe)(H)2]BF4 with an unusual internal coordination to an arene of the ligand. In the absence of a hydrogen atmosphere, spontaneous reductive elimination of H2 afforded a rhodium complex [Rh(IPr*OMe)]BF4 with a single chelating ligand that stabilizes the highly unsaturated metal by two-fold π-face donation as suggested by NMR spectroscopy and computational studies. This unusual complex might serve as a versatile precatalyst for a variety of transformations. 相似文献

Treatment of the metallo ligands [ML(pz)(2)(Hpz)] (pz = pyrazolate; L = C(5)Me(5), M = Ir (1); L = mesitylene, M = Ru (3)) with [M'Cl{HB(3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz)(3)}] (M' = Co (4), Ni (5)) yields heterodinuclear complexes of formula [LM(&mgr;-pz)(2)(&mgr;-Cl)M'{HB(3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz)(3)}] (L = C(5)Me(5); M = Ir; M' = Co (6), Ni (7). L = mesitylene; M = Ru; M' = Co (8)). The related complex [Ru(eta(6)-p-cymene)(pz)(2)(Hpz)] (2) reacts with equimolar amounts of 4 or 5 to give mixtures of the corresponding bis(&mgr;-pyrazolato) &mgr;-chloro complexes [(eta(6)-p-cymene)Ru(&mgr;-pz)(2)(&mgr;-Cl)M'{HB(3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz)(3)}] (M' = Co (9), Ni (10)) and the triply pyrazolato-bridged complexes [(eta(6)-p-cymene)Ru(&mgr;-pz)(3)M'{HB(3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz)(3)}] (M' = Co (11), Ni (12)). Complex 1 reacts with 5 in the presence of KOH to give the IrNi complex [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Ir(&mgr;-pz)(3)Ni{HB(3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz)(3)}] (13) whereas its reaction with 4 and KOH rendered the bis(&mgr;-pyrazolato) &mgr;-hydroxo complex [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Ir(&mgr;-pz)(2)(&mgr;-OH)Co{HB(3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz)(3)}] (14). The molecular structure of the heterobridged IrCo complex (6) and those of the homobridged RuNi (12) and IrNi (13) complexes have been determined by X-ray analyses. Compound 6 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with a = 10.146(5) ?, b = 18.435(4) ?, c = 22.187(13) ?, beta = 97.28(4) degrees, and Z = 4. Complex 12 is monoclinic, space group P2(1), with a = 10.1169(7) ?, b = 21.692(2) ?, c = 11.419(1) ?, beta = 112.179(7) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 13 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group Cc, with a = 13.695(2) ?, b = 27.929(6) ?, c = 13.329(2) ?, beta = 94.11(4) degrees, and Z = 4. All the neutral complexes 6, 12, and 13 consist of linear M.M'.B backbones with two (6) or three (12, 13) pyrazolate ligands bridging the dimetallic M.M' units and three substituted 3-i-Pr-4-Br-pz groups joining M' to the boron atoms. The presence in the proximity of the first-row metal M' of the three space-demanding isopropyl substituents of the pyrazolate groups induces a significant trigonal distortion of the octahedral symmetry, yielding clearly different M'-N bond distances on both sides of the ideal octahedral coordination sphere of these metals. 相似文献

Structural information of gas phase complexes of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) cationized by one or two different alkali metal ions is inferred from MS and MS/MS experiments performed with an electrospray quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometer. The rationale for selecting PEG was that its sites for cation binding are non-selective with respect to the repeating monomeric unit of the polymer, but there is selectivity with respect to the formation of an inner coordination sphere specific to each metal ion. The dissociation of [M1+ M2+ (EO23)], where EO23 = linear polymer of ethylene oxide, 23 units in length, resulted in loss of one of the alkali metal ions, with preference for loss of the larger cation, with no fragmentation of the PEG backbone for Na, K, Rb, and Cs. Li was not examined in this portion of the study. The selectivity for loss of the larger alkali metal ion was [Na+ K+ (EO23)] to [Na+ (EO23)] + K+ at 100%; [K+ Rb+ (EO23)] to [K+ (EO23)] + Rb+ at 93%; and [Rb+ Cs+ (EO23)] to [Rb+ (Eo23)] + Cs+ at 99%. The resolution of [M+ (EOx)] for x = 20-30 was dependent on the alkali metal ion, with the highest resolution observed for Cs+ and the lowest for Na+. These results are discussed with respect to the packing of the oxygen atoms on PEG (M.W.(avg) = 1000) around an alkali metal ion of different radius, and how this packing leads to an ensemble of unique structures, and therefore mobilities for [M+ (EOx)]. 相似文献

The use of a versatile N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) gold(I) hydroxide precatalyst, [Au(OH)(IPr)], (IPr=N,N′‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene) permits the in situ generation of the [Au(IPr)]+ ion by simple addition of a Brønsted acid. This cationic entity is believed to be the active species in numerous catalytic reactions. 1H NMR studies in several solvent media of the in situ generation of this [Au(IPr)]+ ion also reveal the formation of a dinuclear gold hydroxide intermediate [{Au(IPr)}2(μ‐OH)], which is fully characterized and was tested in gold(I) catalysis. 相似文献

The first neutral, [IrClF(2)(NHC)(COD)] and [IrClF(2)(CO)(2)(NHC)] (NHC = IMes, IPr), and cationic, [IrF(2)py(IMes)(COD)][BF(4)] and [IrF(2)L(CO)(2)(NHC)][BF(4)] (NHC = IMes, L = PPh(2)Et, PPh(2)CCPh, py; NHC = IPr, L = py), NHC iridium(III) fluoride complexes, have been synthesised by the xenon difluoride oxidation of iridium(I) substrates. The stereochemistries of these iridium(III) complexes have been confirmed by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy in solution and no examples of fluoride-trans-NHC arrangements were observed. Throughout, CO was found to be a better co-ligand for the stabilisation of the iridium(III) fluoride complexes than COD. Attempts to generate neutral trifluoroiridium(III) complexes, [IrF(3)(CO)(NHC)], via the ligand substitution reaction of [IrF(3)(CO)(3)] with the free NHCs were unsuccessful. 相似文献

The M+[cyclohexane][Ar] (M = Li, Na, and K) cluster ions were investigated using infrared photodissociation spectroscopy in the C-H stretching region. The alkali metal cation binds to the cyclohexane ring above the ring on the S6 axis via eta3 coordination. The C-H stretching modes are perturbed due to binding of the metal cation and display a significant spread in frequency. The shifts are greatest for the Li+ and decrease for Na+ and K+ with increasing ionic radius. It has been observed that cyclohexane displays greater selectivity for Li+ over Na+ than the cyclic ether, 12-crown-4. The charge transfer interaction between Li+ and cyclohexane is believed to be responsible for the selectivity of Li+ over other alkali metal ions. 相似文献

As less attention has been focussed on the design of highly efficient palladium precatalysts to ensure the smooth formation of the active catalyst for metal‐mediated cross coupling reactions, we herein demonstrate that combining the bulky N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene (IPr) with cyclopalladated acetanilide as the optimal palladium precatalyst leads to superior catalytic activity compared with the state‐of‐the‐art NHC–Pd catalysts. The complex was discovered through the evaluation of a small, rationally designed library of NHC–palladacycles prepared by a novel, practical and atom‐economic method, the direct reaction of IPr?HCl with palladacycle acetate dimers. 相似文献

The corresponding reaction between two equivalents of NaCp or LiInd and (μ‐Cl)2Ni2(NHC)2 (NHC=IPr or SIPr) generates unusual 17 valence electron NiI monomers of the form (η5‐Cp)Ni(NHC) (NHC=IPr ( 3 a ) or SIPr ( 3 b )) or (η5‐Ind)Ni(NHC) (NHC=IPr ( 4 a ) or SIPr ( 4 b )), which have nonlinear geometries. A combination of DFT calculations and NBO analysis suggests that the NiI monomers are more strongly stabilized by the Cp ligand than by the indenyl ligand, which is consistent with experimental results. These calculations also show that the monomers have a lone unpaired‐single‐electron in their valence shell, which is the reason for the nonlinear structures. At room temperature the Cp bridged dimer (μ‐Cp)(μ‐Cl)Ni2(NHC)2 undergoes homolytic cleavage of the Ni?Ni bond and is in equilibrium with (η5‐Cp)Ni(NHC) and (μ‐Cl)2Ni2(NHC)2. There is no evidence that this equilibrium occurs for (μ‐Ind)(μ‐Cl)Ni2(NHC)2. DFT calculations suggest that a thermally accessible triplet state facilitates the homolytic dissociation of the Cp bridged dimers, whereas for bridging indenyl species this excited triplet state is significantly higher in energy. In stoichiometric reactions, the NiI monomers (η5‐Cp)Ni(NHC) or (η5‐Ind)Ni(NHC) undergo both oxidative and reductive processes with mild reagents. Furthermore, they are rare examples of active NiI precatalysts for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction. Complexes 1 a , 2 b , 3 a , 4 a and 4 b have been characterized by X‐ray crystallography. 相似文献
