We present a doubleU h(gl(n, ℂ))-equivariant quantization on semisimple coadjoint orbits of the group GL(n, ℂ) as a quotient of the extended reflection equation algebra by relations which are given explicitly. Such a quantization is a two-parameter family including an explicit GL(n)-equivariant quantization of the Kirillov-Kostant-Souriau Poisson bracket. ForM a smooth manifold equipped with a Poisson bracket, we formulate aC*-algebra framework for deformation quantization, including the possibility of invariance under a Lie group of diffeomorphisms preserving the Poisson bracket. We then show that the much-studied non-commutative tori give examples of such deformation quantizations, invariant under the usual action of ordinary tori. Going beyond this, the main results of the paper provide a construction of invariant deformation quantizations for those Poisson brackets on Heisenberg manifolds which are invariant under the action of the Heisenberg Lie group, and for various generalizations suggested by this class of examples. Interesting examples are obtained of simpleC*-algebras on which the Heisenberg group acts ergodically. This work was supported in part by National Science Foundation grant DMS 8601900  相似文献

Given a simple Lie algebra g, we consider the orbits in g* which are of theR-matrix type, i.e., which possess a Poisson pencil generated by the Kirillov-Kostant-Souriau bracket and the so-calledR-matrix bracket. We call an algebra quantizing the latter bracket a quantum orbit of theR-matrix type. We describe some orbits of this type explicitly and we construct a quantization of the whole Poisson pencil on these orbits in a similar way. The notions ofq-deformed Lie brackets, braided coadjoint vector fields, and tangent vector fields are discussed as well.  相似文献

Let G be a reductive Lie group, g its Lie algebra, and M a G-manifold. Suppose 𝔸 h (M) is a 𝕌 h (g)-equivariant quantization of the function algebra 𝔸(M) on M. We develop a method of building 𝕌 h (g)-equivariant quantization on G-orbits in M as quotients of 𝔸 h (M). We are concerned with those quantizations that may be simultaneously represented as subalgebras in 𝕌* h (g) and quotients of 𝔸 h (M). It turns out that they are in one-to-one correspondence with characters of the algebra 𝔸 h (M). We specialize our approach to the situation g=gl(n,ℂ), M=End(ℂ n ), and 𝔸 h (M) the so-called reflection equation algebra associated with the representation of 𝕌 h (g) on ℂ n . For this particular case, we present in an explicit form all possible quantizations of this type; they cover symmetric and bisymmetric orbits. We build a two-parameter deformation family and obtain, as a limit case, the 𝕌(g)-equivariant quantization of the Kirillov-Kostant-Souriau bracket on symmetric orbits. We present an explicit U h (gl(n, C))-equivariant quantization on coadjoint orbits of GL(n, C). It forms a two-parameter family quantizing the Poisson pair of the reflection equation and Kirillov–Kostant–Souriau brackets.  相似文献

A Poisson bracket structure having the commutation relations of the quantum group SL q (2) is quantized by means of the Moyal star-product on C (2), showing that quantum groups are not exactly quantizations, but require a quantization (with another parameter) in the background. The resulting associative algebra is a strongly invariant nonlinear star-product realization of the q-algebra U q (sl(2)). The principle of strong invariance (the requirement that the star-commutator is star-expressed, up to a phase, by the same function as its classical limit) implies essentially the uniqueness of the commutation relations of U q (sl(2)).  相似文献

We consider a class of homogeneous manifolds including all semisimple coadjoint orbits. We describe manifolds of that class admitting deformation quantizations equivariant under the action ofG and the corresponding quantum group. We also classify Poisson brackets relating to such quantizations. Presented at the 11th Colloquium “Quantum Groups and Integrable Systems”, Prague, 20–22 June 2002.  相似文献

A general construction of an sh Lie algebra (L -algebra) from a homological resolution of a Lie algebra is given. It is applied to the space of local functionals equipped with a Poisson bracket, induced by a bracket for local functions along the lines suggested by Gel'fand, Dickey and Dorfman. In this way, higher order maps are constructed which combine to form an sh Lie algebra on the graded differential algebra of horizontal forms. The same construction applies for graded brackets in field theory such as the Batalin-Fradkin-Vilkovisky bracket of the Hamiltonian BRST theory or the Batalin-Vilkovisky antibracket. We present a mathematical study of the differentiable deformations of the algebras associated with phase space. Deformations of the Lie algebra of C functions, defined by the Poisson bracket, generalize the well-known Moyal bracket. Deformations of the algebra of C functions, defined by ordinary multiplication, give rise to noncommutative, associative algebras, isomorphic to the operator algebras of quantum theory. In particular, we study deformations invariant under any Lie algebra of “distinguished observables”, thus generalizing the usual quantization scheme based on the Heisenberg algebra.  相似文献

The highly excited vibrational states of asymmetric linear tetratomic molecules are studied in the framework of Lie algebra. By using symmetric groupU 1(4)U 2(4)⊗U 3(4), we construct the Hamiltonian that includes not only Casimir operators but also Majorana operators M12, M13 and M23, which are useful for getting potential energy surface and force constants in Lie algebra method. By Lie algebra treatment, we obtain the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonian, and make the concrete calculation for molecule C2HF.  相似文献

Introducing the notion of an admissible graded Lie subalgebra A of the Nijenhui-Richardson algebra A(V) of the vector space V, it is shown that each cohomology class of a subcomplex C A of the Chevalley-Eilenberg complex (C 0 M), extends in a cononical way as a graded cohomology class of weight — 1 of A. Applying this when V is the space N of smooth functions of a smooth manifold M, shows that the de Rham cohomology of M is induced by the graded cohomology of weight — 1 of the Schouten graded Lie algebra of M. This allows us to construct explicitly all 1-differential, nc formal deformations of the Poisson bracket of a symplectic manifold. The construction also applies for an arbitrary Poisson manifold but leads to only part of these deformations when the structure degenerates, as shown by an example.  相似文献

It is known that symmetric orbits in g* for any simple Lie algebra g are equipped with a Poisson pencil generated by the Kirillov-Kostant-Souriau bracket and the reduced Sklyanin bracket associated to the “canonical” R-matrix. We realize quantization of the Poisson pencil CPn type orbits (i.e. orbits in sl(n + 1)* whose real compact form is CPn) by means of q-deformed Verma modules.  相似文献

Let U be a unitary irreducible locally faithful representation of a nilpotent Lie group G, U the universal enveloping algebra of G, M a simple module on U with kernel Ker dU, then there exists an automorphism of U keeping ker dU invariant such that, after transport of structure, M is isomorphic to a submodule of the space of analytic vectors for U.  相似文献

Form-invariant solutions for the Poisson brackets of hydrodynamic type on a manifold M n with (2,0)-tensor g ij (u) of rank mn are derived. Tensor invariants of the Poisson brackets are introduced that include a vector field V (or dynamical system V) on M n , the Lie derivative L V g ij and symmetric (k, 0)-tensors . Several scalar invariants of the Poisson brackets are defined. A nilpotent Lie algebra structure is disclosed in the space of 1-forms that annihilate the (2,0)-tensor g ij (u). Applications to the one-dimensional gas dynamics are presented.  相似文献

We propose a q-difference version of the Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction scheme, which gives us q-deformations of the classical -algebras by reduction from Poisson-Lie loop groups. We consider in detail the case of SL 2 . The nontrivial consistency conditions fix the choice of the classical r-matrix defining the Poisson-Lie structure on the loop group LSL 2 , and this leads to a new elliptic classical r-matrix. The reduced Poisson algebra coincides with the deformation of the classical Virasoro algebra previously defined in [19]. We also consider a discrete analogue of this Poisson algebra. In the second part [31] the construction is generalized to the case of an arbitrary semisimple Lie algebra. Received: 20 April 1997 / Accepted: 22 July 1997  相似文献

The relation between the appearance of accidental degeneracy in the energy levels of a given Hamiltonian and its symmetry group is probed. This is done by analyzing the very simple problem of an oscillator to which a particular spin-orbit and centrifugal force are added. The operators that connect all the states of given energy as well as their corresponding observables in the classical limit are found. The Poisson bracket relations between these observables leads to a Lie algebra U(3) × SU(2), but it does not translate into a Lie algebra for the commutators of the corresponding operators, as some matrix elements of commutators, corresponding to Poisson brackets that are zero, do not vanish. Thus while accidental degeneracy in the quantum problem may lead to a larger group in the classical limit, it is not always given by the dimensions of the irreducible representations of this group.  相似文献

Let ?n, n ≥ 1, be the (2n+1)-dimensional Heisenberg group and let K be a closed connected subgroup of the unitary group U(n) acting on ?n by automorphisms. Using the moment map, we provide in this paper a dequantization procedure for all generic admissible coadjoint orbits of the semidirect product G = K ? ?n. In the opposite direction, we show that Gilmore-Perelomov's coherent states define “pure state quantizations” of such orbits.  相似文献

Abstract

A Poisson-Lie group acting by the coadjoint action on the dual of its Lie algebra induces on it a non-trivial class of quadratic Poisson structures extending the linear Poisson bracket on the coadjoint orbits.  相似文献

The present paper is a first step toward establishing connections between solutions of the classical Yang–Baxter equations and cluster algebras. We describe all Poisson brackets compatible with the natural cluster algebra structure in the open Schubert cell of the Grassmannian G k (n) and show that any such bracket endows G k (n) with a structure of a Poisson homogeneous space with respect to the natural action of SL n equipped with an R-matrix Poisson–Lie structure. The corresponding R-matrices belong to the simplest class in the Belavin–Drinfeld classification. Moreover, every compatible Poisson structure can be obtained this way.  相似文献
