The cell structure of the spaces ℳ2,1 and ℳ3,1 is considered. These are the spaces of complex curves of genus 2 and 3 with one marked point. For the space ℳ2,1, nine cells of the highest dimension 8 are described and their adjacency is studied. For the space ℳ3,1, a list of all 1726 cells of the highest dimension 14 (with orientation) is obtained. The list of adjacent couples of cells is also obtained. We study 2 reals x in terms of how they can be approximated symmetrically by a computable sequence of rationals. We deal with a natural notion of approximation representation and study how these are related computationally for a fixed x. We are interested in minimizing functionals with ℓ2 data and gradient fitting term and ℓ1 regularization term with higher order derivatives in a discrete setting. We examine the structure of the solution in 1D by reformulating the original problem into a contact problem which can be solved by dual optimization techniques. The solution turns out to be a ’smooth’ discrete polynomial spline whose knots coincide with the contact points while its counterpart in the contact problem is a discrete version of a spline with higher defect and contact points as knots. In 2D we modify Chambolle’s algorithm to solve the minimization problem with the ℓ1 norm of interacting second order partial derivatives as regularization term. We show that the algorithm can be implemented efficiently by applying the fast cosine transform. We demonstrate by numerical denoising examples that the ℓ2 gradient fitting term can be used to avoid both edge blurring and staircasing effects.   相似文献

This paper presents new results pertaining to the delay-dependent stability and control synthesis of a class of linear switched continuous-time systems with time-varying delays. A new state transformation is introduced to exhibit the delay-dependent dynamics in the slow-time scale. For stability, we construct an appropriate selective Lyapunov functional to derive delay-dependent LMI-based sufficient conditions under arbitrary switching and without relying to overbounding. For the control synthesis, we design switched feedback schemes based on quadratic ℋ2, ℋ and simultaneous ℋ2/ℋ performance criteria. Under the developed transformation, it is established that both the instantaneous and delayed feedback control yield identical results. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the analytical development.  相似文献

  (CA) m : Let (x, y, z) be a triple of vertices with and |C(z, x) ∩ C(z, y)| ≥ 2. Then C(x, z) ∪ A(x, z) = C(y, z) ∪ A(y, z).
In [12] we have shown that the condition (SC) m holds if and only if both of the conditions (BB) i and (CA) i hold for i = 1,...,m. In this paper we show that if a 1 = 0 < a 2 and the condition (BB) i holds for i = 1,...,m, then the condition (CA) i holds for i = 1,...,m. In particular, the condition (SC) m holds. Applying this result we prove that a distance-regular graph with classical parameters (d, b, α, β) such that c 2 > 1 and a 1 = 0 < a 2 satisfies the condition (SC) i for i = 1,...,d − 1. In particular, either (b, α, β) = (− 2, −3, −1 − (−2) d ) or holds.  相似文献

With an eye on applications in quantum mechanics and other areas of science, much work has been done to generalize traditional analytic methods to p-adic systems. In 2002 the first paper on p-adic wavelets was published. Since then p-adic wavelet sets, multiresolution analyses, and wavelet frames have all been introduced. However, so far all constructions have involved dilations by p. This paper presents the first construction of a p-adic wavelet system with a more general matrix dilation, laying the foundation for further work in this direction.  相似文献

The dyadic diaphony, introduced by Hellekalek and Leeb, is a quantitative measure for the irregularity of distribution of point sets in the unit-cube. In this paper we study the dyadic diaphony of digital nets over ℤ2. We prove an upper bound for the dyadic diaphony of nets and show that the convergence order is best possible. This follows from a relation between the dyadic diaphony and the discrepancy. In order to investigate the case where the number of points is small compared to the dimension we introduce the limiting dyadic diaphony, which is defined as the limiting case where the dimension tends to infinity. We construct a simple transformation whose centralizer is isomorphic to (?)2 ? A ?, where A is an aperiodic automorphism of ?2. As a corollary we obtain an example of a ?2-action \({({T_g})_{g \in {Z^2}}}\) with minimal self-joinings which is conjugate to the (twisted by A) action \({({T_{Ag}})_{g \in {Z^2}}}\). Three new summation formulas for 6 ψ 6 bilateral basic hypergeometric series attached to root systems are presented. Remarkably, two of these formulae, labelled by the A2n−1 and A2n root systems, can be reduced to multiple 6 φ 5 sums generalising the well-known van Diejen sum. This latter sum serves as the weight-function normalisation for the BC n q-Racah polynomials of van Diejen and Stokman. Two 8 φ 7-level extensions of the multiple 6 φ 5 sums, as well as their elliptic analogues, are conjectured. This opens up the prospect of constructing novel A-type extensions of the Koornwinder–Macdonald theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we define the normalized Eisenstein series ℘, e, and associated with Γ0(2), and derive three differential equations satisfied by them from some trigonometric identities. By using these three formulas, we define a differential equation depending on the weights of modular forms on Γ0(2) and then construct its modular solutions by using orthogonal polynomials and Gaussian hypergeometric series. We also construct a certain class of infinite series connected with the triangular numbers. Finally, we derive a combinatorial identity from a formula involving the triangular numbers.   相似文献

We obtain formulas for the volume of a spherical tetrahedron with ℤ2-symmetry realized as rotation about the axis passing through the midpoints of a pair of skew edges. We show the dependence of the volume formula on the edge lengths and dihedral angles of the tetrahedron. Let p 1, p 2, p 3, p 4 be four pairwise distinct points in the boundary of complex hyperbolic 2-space H 2 and any three points do not lie in the same C-circle. We show that we are always able to group the four points into two classes such that each class contains two points, the two complex lines spanned by each class are ultra-parallel or intersect. As an application, we can simplify the discussion in the paper [7], in which Parker and Platis used the global geometry coordinates to describe the Falbel’s cross-ratio variety of the four pairwise distinct points on the ∂H 2.  相似文献
