Sulfur–Oxygen containing hydrocarbons are formed in oxidation of sulfides and thiols in the atmosphere, on aerosols and in combustion processes. Understanding their thermochemical properties is important to evaluate their formation and transformation paths. Structures, thermochemical properties, bond energies, and internal rotor potentials of methyl sulfinic acid CH3S(?O)OH, its methyl ester CH3S(?O)OCH3 and radicals corresponding to loss of a hydrogen atom have been studied. Gas phase standard enthalpies of formation and bond energies were calculated using B3LYP/6‐311G (2d, p) individual and CBS‐QB3 composite methods employing work reactions to further improve accuracy of the ${\Delta} _{{\bf f}} H_{{\bf 298}}^{{\bf o}} $ . Molecular structures, vibration frequencies, and internal rotor potentials were calculated. Enthalpies of the parent molecules CH3S(?O)OH and CH3S(?O)OCH3 are evaluated as ?77.4 and ?72.7 kcal mol?1 at the CBS? QB3 level; Enthalpies of radicals C?H2? S(?O)? OH, CH3? S?(?O)2, C?H2? S(?O)? OCH3 and CH3? S(?O)? OC?H2 (CBS‐QB3) are ?25.7, ?52.3, ?22.8, and ?26.8 kcal mol?1, respectively. The CH3C(?O)O—H bond dissociation energy is of 77.1 kcal mol?1. Two of the intermediate radicals are unstable and rapidly dissociate. The CH3S(?O)? O. radical obtained from the parent CH3? S(?O)? OH dissociates into methyl radical (${\bf CH}_{{\bf 3}}^{{\bf .}} $ ) plus SO2 with endothermicity (ΔHrxn) of only 16.2 kcal mol?1. The CH3? S(?O)? OC?H2 radical dissociates into CH3? S?=O and CH2=O with little or no barrier and an exothermicity of ?19.9 kcal mol?1. DFT and the Complete Basis Set‐QB3 enthalpy values are in close agreement; this accord is attributed to use of isodesmic work reactions for the analysis and suggests this combination of B3LYP/work reaction approach is acceptable for larger molecules. CH3SCH2CHO, CH3CH2SCHO, and CH3SC(═O)CH3 are intermediates during the partial oxidation of CH3SCH2CH3 in the atmosphere and in combustion processes. Thermochemical properties (ΔHfo, So and Cp(T)), structures, internal rotor potentials, and C─H bond dissociation energies of the parent molecules and their radicals formed after loss of a hydrogen atom are of value in understanding the oxidation processes of methyl ethyl sulfide. The lowest energy molecular structures were initially determined using the density functional B3LYP/6‐311G/(2d,d,p) level of theory. Standard enthalpies of formation (ΔHfo298) for the radicals and their parent molecules were calculated using the density functional B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p), B3LYP/6‐31 + G(2d,p), and the composite CBS‐QB3 ab initio methods using isodesmic reactions. Internal rotation potential energy diagrams and internal rotation barriers were investigated using B3LYP/6‐31 + G(d,p) level calculations. The contributions for So298 and Cp(T) were calculated using the rigid rotor harmonic oscillator approximation on the basis of the structures and vibrational frequencies obtained by the density functional calculations, with contributions from torsion frequencies replaced by internal rotor contributions from the method of Pitzer‐Gwinn. The recommended values for enthalpies of formation of the most stable conformers of CH3SCH2CHO, CH3CH2SCHO, and CH3SC(═O)CH3 are ?34.6 ± 0.8, ?42.4 ± 1.2, and ‐49.7 ± 0.8 kcal/mol, respectively. The structural and thermochemical data presented for CH3SCH2CHO, CH3CH2SCHO, and CH3SC(═O)CH3 and their radicals are of value in understanding the mechanism and kinetics of methyl ethyl sulfide oxidation under varied temperatures and pressures. Group additivity values are developed for estimating properties of structurally similar, larger sulfur‐containing compounds.  相似文献

Theoretical studies have been carried out on the kinetics and thermochemistry of the thermal decomposition of the CH2FOCHFO radical formed during the photo-oxidation of CH2FOCH2F (HFE-152E) using the dual-level method of obtaining the optimised structure at DFT(M06-2X)/6-311++G(d,p) followed by a single-point energy calculation at the G3 level of theory. The rate constant for different reaction channels involved during the decomposition processes of CH2FOCHFO is evaluated at 298 K and 1 atm using canonical transition-state theory. The results point out that the C–H bond scission is the dominant path involving an energy barrier of 9.5 kcal mol?1 determined at the G3 level of theory. A potential energy diagram is constructed and the results are compared with the data available from the literature for a structurally similar molecule.  相似文献

The structural and vibrational parameters of FC(O)ONO and FC(O)NO2 isomers were examined theoretically using the B3LYP/6-311+G(3df) and CCSD(T)/6-311G(d) methods. Four conformers of FC(O)ONO isomer and one FC(O)NO2 isomer are found here. Among them, the transcis and ciscis FC(O)ONO configuration are new conformers. The energetics were refined with G3//B3LYP and CBS-QB3 calculations. The trans–trans conformer of the FC(O)ONO isomer is found to be the lowest energy structure, with an estimated heat of formation of ?104.9 kcal mol?1 at 0 K as determined from CBS-QB3 theory. The next lowest structure is the cistrans FC(O)ONO lying 1.7 kcal mol?1 above the transtrans structural form. The highest energy structure is the FC(O)NO2 isomer with a predicted heat of formation of ?84.8 kcal mol?1. A comparison of the relative stability of the FCNO3 isomers with the isomers of ClCNO3 shows that the Cl analogues follow the same pattern of stability, as do the F isomers. However, the chlorine isomers are unstable relative to their fluorine analogues.  相似文献

A scheme for the pKa estimation of organic acids in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) solution based on quantum chemical calculations is proposed. The procedure of pKa calculation requires several steps. The first is the calculation of the gas phase acidity of the compound. The G3MP2B3, G4MP2 as well as CBS‐QB3 composite methods made it possible to estimate values of gas phase acidities of an extensive set of structures with a high confidence level (standard deviations equal to 1.15, 1.13 and 1.29 kcal mol?1, respectively; the test set included 91 compounds). The second step is the computation of the solvation correction with the integral equation formalism version of polarizable continuum model (IEF‐PCM)–B3LYP/6‐311+G(d,p) approximation. Within the bounds of our approach, the medium properties were covered only by the PCM model, i.e. the proposed procedure neglects specific interactions between DMSO and the solute. It was determined that the approach to pKa estimation mentioned above is the most balanced in terms of accuracy, resource intensity and computation time cost. In the third step, the error of the pKa calculation was decreased by correlation allowances. Correlation allowances were determined for each acid class (62 С―Н, 55 N―Н, 24 O―Н and 5 S―Н acids) in the range of 50 units in terms of logarithmic scale using the test set including 146 compounds. Seven O―H acids showing the ability to form cyclic dimers were separated into a discrete group. The proposed methodology was applied to the estimation of pKa for trans‐ and cis‐dimethyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐3H‐pyrazol‐3,5‐dicarboxylates as well as for 5‐fluorouracil subject to competitive dissociation, the latter by N1―H or N3―H bonds. Quantum chemical calculations using density functional theory at the B3LYP level in combination with relativistic effective core potentials for the metals and TZ2P valence basis sets have been carried out for elucidating the reaction pathways of ethylene addition to MeReO2(CH2) ( C1 ). The results are compared with our previous studies of ethylene addition to OsO2(CH2)2 ( A1 ) and OsO3(CH2) ( B1 ). Significant differences have been found between the ethylene additions to the osmium compounds A1 and B1 and the rhenium compound C1 . Seven pathways for the reaction C1 +C2H4 were studied, but only the [2+2]Re,C addition yielding rhenacyclobutane C5 is an exothermic process with a high activation barrier of 48.9 kcal mol?1. The lowest activation energy (27.7 kcal mol?1) is calculated for the [2+2]Re,C addition, which leads to the isomeric form C5 ′. Two further concerted reactions [3+2]O,C, [3+2]O,O, and [2+2]Re,O and the addition/hydrogen migration of ethylene to one oxo ligand are endothermic processes which have rather high activation barriers (>35 kcal mol?1). Four isomerization processes of C1 have very large activation energies of >65 kcal mol?1. The ethylene addition to the osmium compounds A1 and B1 are much more exothermic and have lower activation barriers than the C2H4 addition to C1 . Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The conformational equilibria of 3‐methyl‐3‐silathiane 5 , 3‐fluoro‐3‐methyl‐3‐silathiane 6 and 1‐fluoro‐1‐methyl‐1‐silacyclohexane 7 have been studied using low temperature 13C NMR spectroscopy and theoretical calculations. The conformer ratio at 103 K was measured to be about 5 ax: 5 eq = 15:85, 6 ax: 6 eq = 50:50 and 7 ax: 7 eq = 25:75. The equatorial preference of the methyl group in 5 (0.35 kcal mol?1) is much less than in 3‐methylthiane 9 (1.40 kcal mol?1) but somewhat greater than in 1‐methyl‐1‐silacyclohexane 1 (0.23 kcal mol?1). Compounds 5–7 have low barriers to ring inversion: 5.65 (ax → eq) and 6.0 (eq → ax) kcal mol?1 ( 5 ), 4.6 ( 6 ), 5.1 (Meax → Meeq) and 5.4 (Meeq → Meax) kcal mol?1 ( 7 ). Steric effects cannot explain the observed conformational preferences, like equal population of the two conformers of 6 , or different conformer ratio for 5 and 7 . Actually, by employing the NBO analysis, in particular, considering the second order perturbation energies, vicinal stereoelectronic interactions between the Si–X and adjacent C–H, C–S, and C–C bonds proved responsible. Based on energetic compound [1,2,5]‐oxadiazolo‐[3,4‐d]‐pyridazine, a series of functionalized derivatives were designed and first reported. Afterwards, the relationship between their structure and performance was systematically explored by density functional theory at B3LYP/6‐311 g (d, p) level. Results show that the bond dissociation energies of the weakest bond (N–O bond) vary from 157.530 to 189.411 kJ · mol?1. The bond dissociation energies of these compounds are superior to that of HMX (N–NO2, 154.905 kJ · mol?1). In addition, H1, H2, H4, I2, I3, C1, C2, and D1 possess high density (1.818–1.997 g · cm?3) and good detonation performance (detonation velocities, 8.29–9.46 km · s?1; detonation pressures, 30.87–42.12 GPa), which may be potential explosives compared with RDX (8.81 km · s?1, 34.47 GPa ) and HMX (9.19 km · s?1, 38.45 GPa). Finally, allowing for the explosive performance and molecular stability, three compounds may be suggested as good potential candidates for high‐energy density materials. In connection with study of chiral derivatizing agents (CDAs) for NMR determination of absolute configuration of organic compounds, factors controlling the conformational preference between syn‐ and anti‐forms in α‐substituted α‐fluorophenylacetic acid methyl ester (FC(X)(Ph)COOMe) model systems were theoretically investigated. Substituents X at the stereogenic carbon atom were X = H, C?CH and CH3, the electronic and steric properties of which were significantly different from each other. The model system with X = C?CH and that with X = CH3 were found to be possible candidates for fluorine‐containing CDAs. The syn conformation is stable compared with the anti one by 0.7 kcal mol?1 for the ester with X = C?CH. On the other hand, the anti conformation is stable compared with the syn one by 0.5 kcal mol?1 for the ester with X = CH3. Both natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis and deletion of selected orbitals based on the donor–acceptor NBO scheme were adopted for semi‐quantitative estimation of factors responsible for the conformational preference as well as a qualitative inspection of occupied canonical molecular orbitals (MOs). It was shown that [σ–(σ* + π*)(C?O)] and [σσ*(Ph) and π(Ph)–σ*] hyperconjugations are the main factors controlling the conformational preferences between the syn and anti conformations. Other types of effects such as electrostatic effects were also investigated. The role of the fluorine atom was also clarified. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Potassium isopropyl xanthate, (CH3)2CHOC(S)SK, reacts with methyl chloroformiate ClC(O)OCH3 to yield (methoxycarbonyl) (2‐propoxythiocarbonyl) sulfide, (CH3)2CHOC(S)SC(O)OCH3. This novel xanthogen formate was characterized by 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and IR and Raman spectroscopy. The structure of a single crystal of (CH3)2CHOC(S)SC(O)OCH3 was determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis at 173 K. The conformational properties have been studied by liquid IR and Raman spectroscopy, matrix isolation spectroscopy together with photochemical studies and quantum chemical calculations (HF and B3LYP methods with the 6‐31+G* basis set). The analysis of the IR spectrum of liquid (CH3)2CHOC(S)SC(O)OCH3 suggests the presence of two conformers in equilibrium at room temperature. However, in the photochemical matrix study, an equilibrium of three conformers was detected. These forms were further characterized by theoretical calculations. Different photolysis products, such as CH3OC(O)SCH(CH3)2, OCS, CO, CO2 and CS2, were identified by matrix spectroscopy. The IR absorptions of CH3OC(O)SCH(CH3)2, for which literature data are scarce, were analysed in the light of the results of appropriate theoretical calculations. Protonation increases the total binding energy of the 8-oxoguanine-cytosine (8OG:C) base pair by 60–70% at the B3LYP/6-311++G(d,?p) level of theory. It changes the individual H-bond energies, estimated from electron charge densities at bond critical points, by 1.16 to ?16.41?kcal?mol?1. The individual H-bond energies and the two bond X–Y spin–spin coupling constants (2hJX–Y) increase with protonation where 8OG behaves as an H-bond donor; the reverse is true for the H-bonds in which the 8OG unit acts as an H-bond acceptor. Similar to 2hJX–Y, the value of 1hJO–H (a one-bond H?···?Y spin–spin coupling constant) is distance dependent and in linear correlation with the O?···?H distance, but the 1hJN–H values are independent of the N–H distance and the PSO term is the predominant portion in it. The 1JX–H spin–spin coupling constant is dominated by the negative FC term for all hydrogen bonds, although the PSO term is the best to investigate the behaviour of 1JX–H across the X–H?·?Y H-bond.  相似文献

Hydroperoxides and the corresponding peroxy radicals are important intermediates during the partial oxidation of methyl ethyl sulfide (CH3SCH2CH3) in both atmospheric chemistry and in combustion. Structural parameters, internal rotor potentials, bond dissociation energies, and thermochemical properties (ΔHfo, So and Cp(T)) of 3 corresponding hydroperoxides CH2(OOH)SCH2CH3, CH3SCH(OOH)CH3, CH3SCH2CH2OOH of methyl ethyl sulfides, and the radicals formed via loss of a hydrogen atom are important to understanding the oxidation reactions of MES. The lowest energy molecular structures were identified using the density functional B3LYP/6‐311G(2d,d,p) level of theory. Standard enthalpies of formation (ΔHfo298) for the radicals and their parent molecules were calculated using the density functional B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p), B3LYP/6‐31 + G(2d,p), and the composite CBS‐QB3 ab initio methods. Isodesmic reactions were used to determine ?Hfo values. Internal rotation potential energy diagrams and rotation barriers were investigated using the B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p) level theory. Contributions for So298 and Cp(T) were calculated using the rigid rotor harmonic oscillator approximation based on the structures and vibrational frequencies obtained by the density functional calculations, with contributions from torsion frequencies replaced by internal rotor contributions. The recommended values for enthalpies of formation of the most stable conformers of CH3SCH2CH2, CH2(OOH)SCH2CH3, CH3SCH(OOH)CH3, and CH3SCH2CH2OOH are ?14.0, ?33.0, ?37.2, and ?32.7 kcal/mol, respectively. Group additivity values were developed for estimating properties of structurally similar and larger sulfur‐containing peroxides. Groups for use in group additivity estimation of sulfur peroxide thermochemical properties were developed.  相似文献

Raman spectra of 1,3‐disilabutane (SiH3CH2SiH2CH3) as a liquid were recorded at 293 K and as a solid at 78 K. In the Raman cryostat at 78 K an amorphous phase was first formed, giving a spectrum similar to that of the liquid. After annealing to 120 K, the sample crystallized and large changes occurred in the spectra since more than 20 bands present in the amorphous solid phase vanished. These spectral changes made it possible to assign Raman bands to the anti or gauche conformers with confidence. Additional Raman spectra were recorded of the liquid at 14 temperatures between 293 and 137 K. Some Raman bands changed their peak heights with temperature but were countered by changes in linewidths, and from three band pairs assigned to the anti and gauche conformers, the conformational enthalpy difference ΔconfH(gaucheanti) was found to be 0 ± 0.3 kJ mol−1 in the liquid. Infrared spectra were obtained in the vapor and in the liquid phases at ambient temperature and in the solid phases at 78 K in the range 4000–400 cm−1. The sample crystallized immediately when deposited on the CsI window at 78 K, and many bands present in the vapor and liquid disappeared. Additional infrared spectra in argon matrixes at 5 K were recorded before and after annealing to temperatures 20–34 K. Quantum chemical calculations were carried out at the HF, MP2 and B3LYP levels with a variety of basis sets. The HF and DFT calculations suggested the anti conformer as the more stable one by ca 1 kJ mol−1, while the MP2 results favored gauche by up to 0.4 kJ mol−1. The Complete Basis Set method CBS‐QB3 gave an energy difference of 0.1 kJ mol−1, with anti as the more stable one. Scaled force fields from B3LYP/cc‐pVQZ calculations gave vibrational wavenumbers and band intensities for the two conformers. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The interaction within the methane–methane (CH4/CH4), perfluoromethane–perfluoromethane (CF4/CF4) methane–perfluoromethane dimers (CH4/CF4) was calculated using the Hartree–Fock (HF) method, multiple orders of Møller–Plesset perturbation theory [MP2, MP3, MP4(DQ), MP4(SDQ), MP4(SDTQ)], and coupled cluster theory [CCSD, CCSD(T)], as well as the PW91, B97D, and M06-2X density functional theory (DFT) functionals. The basis sets of Dunning and coworkers (aug-cc-pVxZ, x?=?D, T, Q), Krishnan and coworkers [6-311++G(d,p), 6-311++G(2d,2p)], and Tsuzuki and coworkers [aug(df, pd)-6-311G(d,p)] were used. Basis set superposition error (BSSE) was corrected via the counterpoise method in all cases. Interaction energies obtained with the MP2 method do not fit with the experimental finding that the methane–perfluoromethane system phase separates at 94.5?K. It was not until the CCSD(T) method was considered that the interaction energy of the methane–perfluoromethane dimer (?0.69?kcal?mol?1) was found to be intermediate between the methane (?0.51?kcal?mol?1) and perfluoromethane (?0.78?kcal?mol?1) dimers. This suggests that a perfluoromethane molecule interacts preferentially with another perfluoromethane (by about 0.09?kcal?mol?1) than with a methane molecule. At temperatures much lower than the CH4/CF4 critical solution temperature of 94.5?K, this energy difference becomes significant and leads perfluoromethane molecules to associate with themselves, forming a phase separation. The DFT functionals yielded erratic results for the three dimers. Further development of DFT is needed in order to model dispersion interactions in hydrocarbon/perfluorocarbon systems.  相似文献

Nine boat‐shaped cyclonona‐3,5,7‐trienylidenes are compared and contrasted with respect to their multiplicity, nucleophilicity, electrophilicity, band gap (ΔEHOMO ? LUMO), Natural bond orbital (NBO) atomic charge, force constant, as well as the aptitude for dimerization, and rearrangement through proper isodesmic reactions at B3LYP/AUG‐cc‐pVTZ and B3LYP/6‐311++G**//B3LYP/6‐31+G* levels of theory. The nine cyclic carbenes include unsubstituted (1CH2) plus eight α‐cyclopropylcyclonona‐3,5,7‐trienylidenes, which are substituted with ?‐SiMe2, ?‐NMe, ?‐PMe, ?‐O, ?‐S, ?‐CH2, ?‐cyclopropyl, and ?‐CMe2 (2SiMe2, 2NMe, 2PMe, 2O, 2S, 2CH2, 2cyclopropyl, and 2CMe2, respectively). The latter eight species enjoy the stabilizing interaction of the occupied Walsh orbital of cyclopropyl with the vacant pπ orbital of the carbene center (Walshcyclopropyl → pπ carbene). Among them, the singlet closed shell 2NMe appears the most promising for exhibiting the highest relative singlet–triplet energy gap (ΔEs ? t = 27.1 kcal mol?1). In contrast, the least stable derivative is triplet 2SiMe2, which exhibits the lowest relative ΔEs ? t of ?5.5 kcal mol?1. The overall trend of ΔEs‐t is 2NMe > 2PMe > 2S > 2O > 2cyclopropyl > 2CMe2 > 2CH2 > 1CH2 > 2SiMe2. With one negative force constant, the unsubstituted 1CH2 turns out to be a transition state, whereas the rest emerge as minima. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new method utilizing laser induced desorption (LID) is used to study the decomposition of methanol on Ni(100) in real time. The dependence of the rate of decompositition on surface coverage and on surface temperature is measured. The decomposition rate decreases during reaction in a manner characteristic of a self-poisoned reaction. The rate data are fit to a model in which the energy barrier to reaction increases in proportion to the coverage of the CH3O product. The energy barrier obtained is 9 kcal mol?1 plus 4 kcal mol?1 monolayer?1 of CH3O. The frequency factor of 2 × 109 s?1 suggests there is significant entropy barrier to decomposition. Substitution of deuterium for the alcoholic hydrogen alters de decomposition rate appreciably and identifies the breaking of the OH bond as the rate determining step.  相似文献

The reaction mechanisms of methylhydrazine (CH3NHNH2) with O(3P) and O(1D) atoms have been explored theoretically at the MPW1K/6-311+G(d,p), MP2/6-311+G(d,p), MCG3-MPWPW91 (single-point), and CCSD(T)/cc-pVTZ (single-point) levels. The triplet potential energy surface for the reaction of CH3NHNH2 with O(3P) includes seven stable isomers and eight transition states. When the O(3P) atom approaches CH3NHNH2, the heavy atoms, namely N and C atoms, are the favourable combining points. O(3P) atom attacking the middle-N atom in CH3NHNH2 results in the formation of an energy-rich isomer (CH3NHONH2) followed by migration of O(3P) atom from middle-N atom to middle-H atom leading to the product P6 (CH3NNH2+OH), which is one of the most favourable routes. The estimated major product CH3NNH2 is consistent with the experimental measurements. Reaction of O(1D) + CH3NHNH2 presents different features as compared with O(3P) + CH3NHNH2. O(1D) atom will first insert into C–H2, N1–H4, and N2–H5 bonds barrierlessly to form the three adducts, respectively. There are two most favourable paths for O(1D) + CH3NHNH2. One is that the C–N bond cleavage accompanied by a concerted H shift from O atom to N atom (mid-N) leads to the product PI (CH2O + NH2NH2), and the other is that the N–N bond rupture along with a concerted H shift from O to N (end-N) forms PIV (CH3NH2 + HNO). The similarities and discrepancies between two reactions are discussed.  相似文献

The substituent effect of electron‐withdrawing groups on electron affinity and gas‐phase basicity has been investigated for substituted propargyl radicals and their corresponding anions. It is shown that when a hydrogen of the α‐CH2 group or acetylenic CH in the propargyl system is substituted by an electron‐withdrawing substituent, electron affinity increases, whereas gas‐phase basicity decreases. The calculated electron affinities are 0.95 eV (CH?C? CH2?), 1.15 eV (CH?C? CHF?), 1.38 eV (CH?C? CHCl?), 1.48 eV (CH?C? CHBr?) for the isomers with terminal CH and 1.66 eV (CF?C? CH2?), 1.70 eV (CCl?C? CH2?), 1.86 eV (CBr?C? CH2?) for the isomers with terminal CX at B3LYP level. The calculated gas‐phase basicities for their anions are 378.4 kcal/mol (CH?C? CH2:?), 371.6 kcal/mol (CH?C? CHF:?), 365.1 kcal/mol (CH?C? CHCl:?), 363.5 kcal/mol (CH?C? CHBr:?) for the isomers with terminal CH and 362.6 kcal/mol (CF?C? CH2:?), 360.4 kcal/mol (CCl?C? CH2:?), 356.3 kcal/mol (CBr?C? CH2:?) for the isomers with terminal CX at B3LYP level. It is concluded that the larger the magnitude of electron‐withdrawing, the greater is the electron affinity of radical and the smaller is the gas‐phase basicity of its anion. This tendency of the electron affinities and gas‐phase bacisities is greater in isomers with the terminal CX than isomers with the terminal CH. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A detailed computational study has been performed at the QCISD(T)/6-311++G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) level for the NCO with CH3 reaction by constructing singlet and triplet potential energy surfaces (PES). The results show that the title reaction is more favorable for the singlet PES than the triplet PES. On the singlet PES, the dominant channel is the barrierless addition of the O or N atom to the C atom of the methyl group to form CH3NCO (IM1) and CH3OCN (IM2). On the triplet PES, the favorable channel is the barrierless addition of the N atom to the C atom of the methyl group to form an intermediate CH3NCO (3IM2), which then undergoes a N–C bond scission process to give out CH3N + CO.  相似文献
