This paper is devoted to proving the existence and uniqueness of solutions to Cauchy type problems for fractional differential equations with composite fractional derivative operator on a finite interval of the real axis in spaces of summable functions. An approach based on the equivalence of the nonlinear Cauchy type problem to a nonlinear Volterra integral equation of the second kind and applying a variant of the Banach’s fixed point theorem to prove uniqueness and existence of the solution is presented. The Cauchy type problems for integro-differential equations of Volterra type with composite fractional derivative operator, which contain the generalized Mittag-Leffler function in the kernel, are considered. Using the method of successive approximation, and the Laplace transform method, explicit solutions of the open problem proposed by Srivastava and Tomovski (2009) [11] are established in terms of the multinomial Mittag-Leffler function.  相似文献

The main motive of this article is to study the recently developed Atangana-Baleanu Caputo (ABC) fractional operator that is obtained by replacing the classical singular kernel by Mittag-Leffler kernel in the definition of the fractional differential operator. We investigate a novel numerical method for the nonlinear two-dimensional cable equation in which time-fractional derivative is of Mittag-Leffler kernel type. First, we derive an approximation formula of the fractional-order ABC derivative of a function tk using a numerical integration scheme. Using this approximation formula and some properties of shifted Legendre polynomials, we derived the operational matrix of ABC derivative. In the author of knowledge, this operational matrix of ABC derivative is derived the first time. We have shown the efficiency of this newly derived operational matrix by taking one example. Then we solved a new class of fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs) by the implementation of this ABC operational matrix. The two-dimensional model of the time-fractional model of the cable equation is solved and investigated by this method. We have shown the effectiveness and validity of our proposed method by giving the solution of some numerical examples of the two-dimensional fractional cable equation. We compare our obtained numerical results with the analytical results, and we conclude that our proposed numerical method is feasible and the accuracy can be seen by error tables. We see that the accuracy is so good. This method will be very useful to investigate a different type of model that have Mittag-Leffler fractional derivative.  相似文献

In this paper, a powerfully analytical technique is proposed for predicting and generating the steady state solution of the fractional differential system based on the method of harmonic balance. The zeroth-order approximation using just one Fourier term is applied to predict the parametric function for the boundary between oscillatory and non-oscillatory regions of the fractional van der Pol oscillator. The unbalanced residues due to Fourier truncation are considered iteratively by solving linear algebraic equations to improve the accuracy of the solutions successively. The highly accurate solutions to the angular frequency and limit cycle of fractional van der Pol oscillator are obtained and compared. The results reveal that the technique described in this paper is very effective and simple for obtaining asymptotic solution of nonlinear system having fractional order derivative.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to present an analytical approximation solution for linear and nonlinear multi-order fractional differential equations (FDEs) by extending the application of the shifted Chebyshev operational matrix. For this purpose, we convert FDE into a counterpart system and then using proposed method to solve the resultant system. Our results in solving four different linear and nonlinear FDE, confirm the accuracy of proposed method.  相似文献

Purpose In this article, a novel computational method is introduced for solving the fractional nonlinear oscillator differential equations on the semi‐infinite domain. The purpose of the proposed method is to get better and more accurate results. Design/methodology/approach The proposed method is the combination of the sine‐cosine wavelets and Picard technique. The operational matrices of fractional‐order integration for sine‐cosine wavelets are derived and constructed. Picard technique is used to convert the fractional nonlinear oscillator equations into a sequence of discrete fractional linear differential equations. Operational matrices of sine‐cosine wavelets are utilized to transformed the obtained sequence of discrete equations into the systems of algebraic equations and the solutions of algebraic systems lead to the solution of fractional nonlinear oscillator equations. Findings The convergence and supporting analysis of the method are investigated. The operational matrices contains many zero entries, which lead to the high efficiency of the method, and reasonable accuracy is achieved even with less number of collocation points. Our results are in good agreement with exact solutions and more accurate as compared with homotopy perturbation method, variational iteration method, and Adomian decomposition method. Originality/value Many engineers can utilize the presented method for solving their nonlinear fractional models.  相似文献

The variational iteration method and the homotopy analysis method, as alternative methods, have been widely used to handle linear and nonlinear models. The main property of the methods is their flexibility and ability to solve nonlinear equations accurately and conveniently. This paper deals with the numerical solutions of nonlinear fractional differential equations, where the fractional derivatives are considered in Caputo sense. The main aim is to introduce efficient algorithms of variational iteration and homotopy analysis methods that can be simply used to deal with nonlinear fractional differential equations. In these algorithms, Legendre polynomials are effectively implemented to achieve better approximation for the nonhomogeneous and nonlinear terms that leads to facilitate the computational work. The proposed algorithms are capable of reducing the size of calculations, improving the accuracy and easily overcome the difficulty arising in calculating complicated integrals. Numerical examples are examined to show the efficiency of the algorithms.  相似文献

Differentiation with respect to a parameter is proposed as a method for solving a system of nonlinear equations with a poorly conditioned Jacobian matrix. Singular and polar decompositions of the Jacobian matrix lead to a system of ordinary differential equations with small parameters multiplying the derivatives. This system is solved by introducing auxiliary linear differential equations. The numerical solution of a poorly conditioned system is reduced in this case to the approximation of an exponential with a large negative argument.  相似文献

An efficient method for nonlinear fractional differential equations is proposed in this paper. This method consists of 2 steps. First, we linearize the nonlinear operator equation by quasi‐Newton's method, which is based on Fréchet derivative. Then we solve the linear fractional differential equations by the simplified reproducing kernel method. The convergence of the quasi‐Newton's method is discussed for the general nonlinear case as well. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illustrate accuracy, efficiency, and simplicity of the method.  相似文献

In this paper, we first utilize fractional calculus, the properties of classical and generalized Mittag-Leffler functions to prove the Ulam–Hyers stability of linear fractional differential equations using Laplace transform method. Meanwhile, Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability result is obtained as a direct corollary. Finally, we apply the same techniques to discuss the Ulam’s type stability of fractional evolution equations, impulsive fractional evolutions equations and Sobolev-type fractional evolution equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new approach of the generalized differential transform method (GDTM) for solving nonlinear fractional differential equations. In GDTM, it is a key to derive a recurrence relation of generalized differential transform (GDT) associated with the solution in the given fractional equation. However, the recurrence relations of complex nonlinear functions such as exponential, logarithmic and trigonometry functions have not been derived before in GDTM. We propose new algorithms to construct the recurrence relations of complex nonlinear functions and apply the GDTM with the proposed algorithms to solve nonlinear fractional differential equations. Several illustrative examples are demonstrated to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. It is shown that the proposed technique is robust and accurate for solving fractional differential equations.  相似文献

A moving collocation method is proposed and implemented to solve time fractional differential equations. The method is derived by writing the fractional differential equation into a form of time difference equation. The method is stable and has a third-order convergence in space and first-order convergence in time for either linear or nonlinear equations. In addition, the method is used to simulate the blowup in the nonlinear equations.  相似文献

In this paper, a numerical method is presented to obtain and analyze the behavior of numerical solutions of distributed order fractional differential equations of the general form in the time domain with the Caputo fractional derivative. The suggested method is based on the Müntz–Legendre wavelet approximation. We derive a new operational vector for the Riemann–Liouville fractional integral of the Müntz–Legendre wavelets by using the Laplace transform method. Applying this operational vector and collocation method in our approach, the problem can be reduced to a system of linear and nonlinear algebraic equations. The arising system can be solved by the Newton method. Discussion on the error bound and convergence analysis for the proposed method is presented. Finally, seven test problems are considered to compare our results with other well‐known methods used for solving these problems. The results in the tabulated tables highlighted that the proposed method is an efficient mathematical tool for analyzing distributed order fractional differential equations of the general form.  相似文献

This work describes an accurate and effective method for numerically solving a class of nonlinear fractional differential equations. To start the method,we equivalently convert these types of differential equations to nonlinear fractional Volterra integral equations of the second kind by integrating from both sides of them.Afterward, the solution of the mentioned Volterra integral equations can be estimated using the collocation method based on locally supported Gaussian functions. The local Gaussian-collocation scheme estimates the unknown function utilizing a small set of data instead of all points in the solution domain,so the proposed method uses much less computer memory and volume computing in comparison with global cases. We apply the composite non-uniform Gauss-Legendre quadrature formula to estimate singular-fractional integrals in the method.Because of the fact that the proposed scheme requires no cell structures on the domain,it is a meshless method.Furthermore,we obtain the error analysis of the proposed method and demon-strate that the convergence rate of the approach is arbitrarily high.Illustrative examples clearly show the reliability and efficiency of the new technique and confirm the theoretical error estimates.  相似文献

A method of converting nonlinear Volterra equations to systems of ordinary differential equations is compared with a standard technique, themethod of moments, for linear Fredholm equations. The method amounts to constructing a Galerkin approximation when the kernel is either finitely decomposable or approximated by a certain Fourier sum. Numerical experiments from recent work by Bownds and Wood serve to compare several standard approximation methods as they apply to smooth kernels. It is shown that, if the original kernel decomposes exactly, then the method produces a numerical solution which is as accurate as the method used to solve the corresponding differential system. If the kernel requires an approximation, the error is greater, but in examples seems to be around 0.5% for a reasonably small number of approximating terms. In any case, the problem of excessive kernel evaluations is circumvented by the conversion to the system of ordinary differential equations.  相似文献

We consider linear fractional differential operator equations involving the Caputo derivative. The goal of this paper is to establish conditions for the unique solvability of the inverse Cauchy problem for these equations. We use properties of the Mittag-Leffler function and the calculus of sectorial operators in a Banach space. For equations with operators in a general form we obtain sufficient conditions for the unique solvability, and for equations with densely defined sectorial operators we obtain necessary and sufficient unique solvability conditions.  相似文献

This paper presents approximate analytical solutions for systems of fractional differential equations using the differential transform method. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The application of differential transform method, developed for differential equations of integer order, is extended to derive approximate analytical solutions of systems of fractional differential equations. The solutions of our model equations are calculated in the form of convergent series with easily computable components. Some examples are solved as illustrations, using symbolic computation. The numerical results show that the approach is easy to implement and accurate when applied to systems of fractional differential equations. The method introduces a promising tool for solving many linear and nonlinear fractional differential equations.  相似文献

In this article we consider a novel nonlinear PDE-based image denoising technique. The proposed restoration model uses second-order hyperbolic diffusion equations. It represents an improved nonlinear version of a linear hyperbolic PDE model developed recently by the author, providing more effective noise removal results while preserving the edges and other image features. A rigorous mathematical investigation is performed on this new differential model and its well-posedness is treated. Next, a consistent finite-difference numerical approximation scheme is proposed for this nonlinear diffusion-based approach. Our successful image denoising experiments and method comparisons are also described.  相似文献
