We propose a scheme to generate entanglement between two distant qubits(two-level atom) which are separately trapped in their own(in general) non-Markovian dissipative cavities by utilizing entangling swapping, considering the case in which the qubits can move along their cavity axes rather than a static state of motion. We first examine the role of movement of the qubit by studying the entropy evolution for each subsystem. The average entropy over the initial states of the qubit is calculated. Then by performing a Bell state measurement on the fields leaving the cavities, we swap the entanglement between qubit-field in each cavity into qubit-qubit and field-field subsystems. The entangling power is used to measure the average amount of swapped entanglement over all possible pure initial states. Our results are presented in two weak and strong coupling regimes, illustrating the positive role of movement of the qubits on the swapped entanglement.It is revealed that by considering certain conditions for the initial state of qubits, it is possible to achieve a maximally long-leaving stationary entanglement(Bell state) which is entirely independent of the environmental variables as well as the velocity of qubits. This happens when the two qubits have the same velocities.  相似文献

Connecting individual quantum systems through quantum channels leads to develop quantum networks crucial to perform multipartite communication or quantum cryptography. We present two techniques to generate entanglement among different parties at larger scale. In the first approach cavity QED technique is used to produce extended entanglement in atomic internal and external degrees of freedom. In this scheme we entangle two tagged atoms in their momentum state with cavity fields. Later, interaction of two auxiliary atoms with the two cavity fields in non-dispersive and dispersive fashion transforms the atoms–fields entanglement to atoms–atoms entanglement. Quantum measurement on auxiliary atoms generates extended entangled state in atomic degrees of freedom. In the second approach we take three cavities in which the two cavities have separate entangled state with third cavity in two modes which are distinguishable. Applying quantum measurement process on third cavity, we develop extended entangled state among the three cavities. We provide experimental parameters to realize the work in laboratory experiment.  相似文献

In this paper, the star structure coupled cavities system is composed of six single-mode cavities. One of them is at the center of the star structure, and other five cavities are at the five vertices of the star structure, respectively. The center cavity is connected with other five cavities by optical fibers. The situation is considered that six identical two-level atoms are separately trapped in six single-mode optical cavities, each atom resonantly interacts with cavity via a one-photon hopping, and the total excitation number of the system equals one. Negativity is adopted to quantify the degree of entanglement between two subsystems. The entanglement properties between atoms and that between cavities are investigated. The influences of atom-cavity coupling coefficient on the entanglement properties between two subsystems are studied. The results obtained using the numerical method show that the atom-atom entanglement is weakened, and the cavity-cavity entanglement is strengthened with the increase of atom-cavity coupling coefficient.

Entanglement and Bell violation with phase decoherence or dissipation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The system of an atom couples to two distinct optical cavities with decoherence is studied by making use of a dynamical algebraic method. We adopt the concurrence to characterize the entanglement between atom and cavities or between two optical cavities in the presence of the phase decoherence or dissipation. It is found that the entanglement between atom and cavities can be controlled by adjusting the detuning parameter. We show that even if the atom is initially prepared in a maximally mixed state, it can also entangle the two mode cavity fields. Finally, the Bell violation of the cavity fields is discussed, and it is shown that both the detuning and decoherence can deteriorate the maximal amount of violation of Bell inequality for two mode cavity fields during the evolution.  相似文献

利用共生纠缠度研究了单模腔场内两个耦合量子点中激子的纠缠动力学行为.结果表明:无论腔场初始制备于奇相干态还是偶相干态,两个量子点间直接耦合作用均能减弱激子的纠缠度.在腔场初始为奇相干态时,激子的纠缠度随场模强度的增加而减小;偶相干态时,激子的纠缠度呈现一个转折变化.此外,也研究了单模腔场内平均光子数与激子准最大相干纠缠态的关联.  相似文献

We proposed a scheme for generating fully three-mode continuous-variable (CV) entanglement between three nondegenerate cavity modes in a single-atom laser. In our scheme, the single-atom laser consists of a four-level atom inside a triply resonant cavity, and the atomic coherence is induced by two classical laser fields driving the corresponding atomic transitions. To demonstrate the generation of entanglement, we numerically simulated the dynamics of this system, and the numerical simulation shows that the single-atom laser considered here can be seen as a three-mode CV entanglement amplifier even in the presence of cavity losses. Moreover, we also show that the generation of entanglement doesn’t depend intensively on the initial condition of cavity field, and the fully three-mode CV entanglement can be realized no matter the three entangled (nondegenerate) modes are initially in the same state or different states based on our scheme.  相似文献

The dynamics of quantum discord for two identical qubits in two independent single-mode cavities and a common single-mode cavity are discussed. For the initial Bell state with correlated spins, while the entanglement sudden death can occur, the quantum discord vanishes only at discrete moments in the independent cavities and never vanishes in the common cavity. Interestingly, quantum discord and entanglement show opposite behavior in the common cavity, unlike in the independent cavities. For the initial Bell state with anti-correlated spins, quantum discord and entanglement behave in the same way for both independent cavities and a common cavity. It is found that the detunings always stabilize the quantum discord.  相似文献

研究了两个初始处于纠缠相干态上的宏观场各自独立地与一个环境相互作用的系统, 环境对腔场的影响只体现在腔场光子数的泄漏上. 采用共生纠缠(concurrence)度量两个宏观场间的纠缠, 并给出宏观场纠缠的解析解, 以分析这种系统中宏观场纠缠的动力学特性. 研究表明当场的初始平均光子数较大时, 即使很小的光子泄漏率也会导致腔场间出现纠缠突然死亡现象. 同时研究结果也表明光子从腔场泄漏到环境后会导致两环境间的纠缠突然产生, 而这种纠缠产生的时机直接与腔场的初始光子数相关. 本文还进一步发现在大光子数的情况下, 在任何时刻任意一个腔场与任意一个环境间都不会产生纠缠. 关键词: 纠缠相干态 环境 纠缠突然死亡 纠缠突然产生  相似文献

We investigate the generation and the evolution of continuous-variable (CV) entanglement from a laser-driven four-state atom inside a doubly resonant cavity under Raman excitation. Two transitions in the four-state atom independently interact with the two cavity modes, while two other transitions are driven by coupling laser fields. By including the atomic relaxation as well as cavity losses, we show that the CV entanglement with large mean number of
photons can be generated in our scheme. We also show that the intensity of the coupling laser fields can influence effectively the entanglement period of the cavity field. Different from the conventional resonant excitation scheme where zero one-photon detuning are required, it is found that the intensity and period of entanglement between the two cavity modes as well as the total mean photon number of the cavity field can be adjusted by properly

We study atomic state transfer and entanglement generation when the N atomic ensemble is trapped in two coupled cavities. We show that based on the collective interaction between the atoms and local cavity fields an ideal quantum state transfer can be realized if some special conditions are satisfied. In addition, the maximal atom entangled state can be achieved. The effect of the cavity losses on the quantum processes is also studied.  相似文献

A generation system of continuous-variable (CV) quadripartite entangled state based on two cascaded second- harmonic generation (SHG) cavities below the threshold is investigated. Two reflected fundamental bearias of the first cavity, the reflected second-harmonic beam and the output fourth-harmonic beam of the second cavity are proved to be entangled, and the dependence of the entanglement degree on the normalized frequency, pump parameter, fourth-harmonic loss parameter, and second-harmonic loss parameter is also analyzed. Due to the fact that the cavity parameters and the nonlinear crystals of the two SHG cavities can be freely chosen, the practicality of the proposed protocol is relatively perfect and the system can also be extended to the preparation of multicolor entangled states for a quantum network.  相似文献

We have studied entanglement evolution and transfer in a double Tavis--Cumming model where two pairs of entangled two-level atoms AB and CD interact with two single-mode cavity fields a and b. We show that the Bell-like initial state of atoms AB can exhibit entanglement sudden death which should be independent of the initial entanglement of atoms CD. Also, we show that the initial entanglement of one atomic pair can be transferred into another pair, as well as the possible subsystems, that become entangled during evolution.  相似文献

We propose a scheme in which entanglement can be transferred from atoms (discrete variables) to entangled states of cavity fields (continuous variables). The cavities play the role of a kind of quantum memory for entanglement, in such a way that it is possible to retrieve it back to the atoms. In our method, two three level atoms in a lambda configuration, previously entangled, are set to interact with single mode cavity fields prepared in coherent states. During the process, one e-bit of entanglement may be deposited in the cavities in an efficient way. We also show that the stored entanglement may be transferred back to flying atoms.  相似文献

Quantum nondemolition measurement scheme for entangled atomic ensembles was presented when they are restricted in two distant coupled cavities. Under certain conditions, we showed that the entanglement evolution of both the atomic ensembles and cavity fields are of the same periods, which provides us with potential nondemolitionmeasurement of entangled atomic ensembles by experimentally detecting cavity fields. Including the dissipation of the cavity fields, the same steps of evolution still hold. Furthermore, it is shown that we can have the two-mode squeezing steady-states of both the cavity fields and the atomic ensembles, which really provides us with the quantum nondemolition measurement of the entangled atomic state.  相似文献

We consider a composite system of two remote mesoscopic dosephson junctions interacting locally with a two-mode non-classical cavity field and investigate entanglement transfer from a bipartite continuous-variable (CV) system to a pair of localized mesoscopic dosephson junctions. We obtain analytically the time-dependent characteristic functions in the Wigner representation for the two CV subsystems, where two cases are considered for the zero and finite temperatures. Furthermore, we analyse the influences of the temperature on the period recovery of the entanglement.  相似文献

We present a scheme for generating a multi-photon NOON state within the context of cavity QED. In the present scheme, an N-atom entangled state between two separated cavities is established based on atomic Bragg scattering firstly, and then the entanglement is transferred from atoms to the fields of the two cavities via stimulated Raman adiabatic passage. With the photons emitting from the cavities along two different directions, the maximally path-entangled optical NOON state is obtained.  相似文献

Achieving quantum correlations between two distant systems is a desirable feature for quantum networking. In this work, we study a system composed of two quantum emitter-cavity subsystems spatially separated. A mechanical resonator couples to either both quantum emitters or both cavities leading to quantum correlations between both subsystems such as non-local light-matter dressed states and cavity–cavity normal mode splitting. These indirect couplings can be explained by an effective Hamiltonian for large energy detuning between the mechanical resonator and the atoms/cavities. Moreover, it is found that the optimal conditions of the physical parameters maximize the entanglement of phonon-mediated couplings.  相似文献

研究了初始处于GHZ态的三个两能级原子与双模腔场相互作用系统的纠缠动力学特性,得到了并发度和线性熵的解析表达式.讨论了腔场初始纠缠度对腔内两原子之间纠缠的影响,对其余子系统求迹后结果表明腔内两原子之间的纠缠出现突然产生现象,腔内两原子之间产生纠缠的阈值时间和最大值依赖于双模腔场初始纠缠度;并且发现腔内两原子子系统和腔外原子与场子系统之间在整个的时间演化过程中一直保持着纠缠状态.  相似文献
