Treatment of 3-phenylthio-2-sulfolene ( 1 ) with an equimolar proportion of butyllithium at ?78 °C in THF followed by addition of an electrophile gave the 2-substituted 3-phenylthio-2-sulfolenes (2). The deprotonation was found to proceed only at the vinylic C-2 position. Some of the 2-sulfolenes 2 underwent desulfonylation upon heating with base. Of particular interest was the conversion of 3-phenylthio-2-trimethylsilyl-2-sulfolene ( 2h ) to its 3-sulfolene isomer 6 by sequential addition of butyllithium and salicylic acid at low temperatures. The 3-sulfolene 6 was desulfonylated by Kugelrohr distillation at 150° C under vacuum to give (Z)-2-phenylthio-l-trimethylsilyl-1,3-butadiene ( 8 ). The regiochemistry of the Diels Alder reaction of this highly reactive diene 8 was found to be controlled by the phenylthio group, and the stereochemistry is endo addition. Diene 8 was oxidized to its sulfone derivative 12 which also underwent a stereospecific Diels-Alder reaction.  相似文献

The preparation of 5,6-bis((E)-chlorommethylidene)bicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene ( 13 ), 2,3-bis((E)-chloromethyl idene)-5exo,6exo- and -5endo,6endo-epoxybicyclo[2.2.2] octane ( 14 and 15 ), 5,6-bis((E)-chloromethylidene)-2exo- and -2endo-bicyclo[2.2.2] octanol ( 16 and 17 ) and 5,6-bis((E)-chloromethylidene)-2-bicyclo[2.2.2]octanone ( 18 ) are described. The face selectivity (endo-face vs. exo-face attack onto the exo-cyclic diene) of their cycloadditions to tetracyanoethylene has been determined in benzene at 20°. It is 78/22, 80/20, 60/40, 68/32, 3/97 and 30/70 for 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 , 17 and 18 , respectively.  相似文献

The stereoselectivity of the Diels-Alder reaction of (E)-γ-oxo-α,β-unsaturated thioesters 3a-3d with cyclopentadiene is greatly enhanced in the presence of Lewis acids favoring the endo acyl isomers 4a-4d . In the absence of Lewis acid, Diels-Alder reaction of 3a-3d with cyclopentadiene at 25 °C gave two adducts 4a-4d and 5a-5d in a ratio of 1:1 respectively. In the presence of Lewis acids, Diels-Alder reaction of 3a-3d with cyclopentadiene gave 4a-4d and 5a-5d in ratios of 75-94:25-6 respectively. The stereoelectivity was enhanced to ratios of 95-98:5-2 with lowering the reaction temperature. The stereochemistry of the cycloadducts 4 and 5 was confirmed by iodocyclization. Reaction of the endo-thioester 5c with I2 in aqueous THF at 0 °C gave the novel methylthio group rearranged product 6c in 80% yield, the first example of iodo-lactonization of endo-thioesters. Reaction of the endo-acyl isomer 4b with I2 under the same reaction conditions gave an isomeric mixture of 7b and 8b in 1:2 ratio. The stereochemistry of the thioester group in 8b was proved by X-ray single-crystal analysis. The solvent effect on the endo selectivity of (Z)-γ-oxo-α,β-unsaturated thioester 2b was also examined.  相似文献

The reaction of 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(methylene)-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane (I) with iron carbonyls in various solvents yields the (η4-1,3-diene)Fe(CO)3 isomers (II: exo; III: endo) and the bimetallic isomers bis[(η4-1,3-diene)Fe(CO)3] (IV: bis(exo); V: endo,exo). In weakly coordinating solvents, a parallel rearrangement of I occurs through CO bond cleavage of the allylic ether by Fe2(CO)9 yielding an unsaturated ketone (VI) bonded to two Fe(CO)3 groups through a trimethylenemethane and a 1,3-diene system, respectively. The geometries of III and VI have been ascertained by X-ray crystal structure determinations.  相似文献

A series of chiral 4,5-bis(2-oxazolinyl)-(2,7-di-tert-butyl-9,9-dimethyl)-9H-xanthenes (xabox) and their transition-metal complexes were synthesized. The X-ray analysis of xabox-RhCl3 complex shows a unique facial type structure. Xabox-Bn-Mn(II) and xabox-Bn-Mg(II) complexes were found to be efficient catalysts in nitrone 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (1,3-D.C.) reaction resulting in good to excellent enantioselectivities ranging from 96:4 to >99:1of endo/exo ratio and 91-96% ee for the endo adduct. The correlation between enantiomeric excess of the ligand and the product in the nitrone 1,3-D.C. reaction shows a clear linear relationship, which suggests xabox-metal catalyst worked as a single molecular catalyst. In addition, xabox-i-Pr-Mn(II) complex was also found to be an active catalyst for Diels-Alder (D-A) reaction of acryloyloxazolidinone and cyclopentadiene affording the corresponding cycloadduct in quantitative yield along with 82% ee and 98:2 endo/exo ratio.  相似文献

Stereoselective syntheses of 2exo, 3exo-bis (chloromethyl)-5-[(Z)-chloromethylidene]- ( 9 ), 2exo, 3exo-bis (chloromethyl)5-[(E)-chloromethylidene]- ( 10 ) and 2exo, 3exo-bis(chloromethyl)-5-[(E)-methoxymethylidene]-6-niethylidene-7-oxa-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane ( 13 ) are presented. Double elimination of HCI from 9, 10 and 13 yielded 2-[(Z)-chloromethylidene]- ( 14 ), 2-[(E)chloromethylidene]- ( 15 ) and 2-[(E)-methoxymethylidene]-3,5,6-mmethylidene-7-oxabicycio[2.2.1]heptane ( 18 ), respectively, without loss of the olefin configuration. Ethylene tetracarbonitrile (TCE) and N-phenyltriazolinedione (NPTAD) added to these new exocyclic dienes and tetraenes preferentially onto their exo-face. The same face selectivity was observed for the cycloadditions of TCE to the (Z)- and (E)-chlorodienes 9 and 10 , thus realizing a case where the kinetic stereoselectivity of the additions is proven not to be governed by the stability of the adducts. The exo-face selectivity of the Diels-Alder additions of dienes grafted onto 7-oxabicyclo [2,2.1]heptanes contrasts with the endo-face selectivity reported for a large number of cycloadditions of dienes grafted onto bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane skeletons.  相似文献

Highly enantioselective (96% ee) and endo-selective (>99:1) cycloaddition reactions were observed between carbonyl ylides, generated from o-(p-bromobenzyloxy)carbonyl-α-diazoacetophenone, and 3-crotonoyl-2-oxazolidinone using (4S,5S)-Pybox-4,5-Ph2-Yb(OTf)3 (20 mol %) as the chiral Lewis acid catalyst. In contrast, high exo-selectivity (exo/endo=82:18; 96% ee, exo) was observed for the reaction of o-methoxycarbonyl-α-diazoacetophenone with 3-acryloyl-2-oxazolidinone under similar conditions as reported previously. In the case of cycloaddition reactions between 2-benzopyrylium-4-olate, generated from o-methoxycarbonyl-α-diazoacetophenone, and 3-cinnamoyl- or 3-[(E)-3-(ethoxycarbonyl)propenoyl]-2-oxazolidinones, using the same chiral Lewis acid, the reaction favored the endo-adduct with relatively good enantioselectivity (72 and 78% ee, respectively).  相似文献

Syntheses of the alcohols 10 and 18 , and the corresponding ketones 11 and 19 are presented. Endo-5, exo-6-bis (chloromethyl)-endo-3-chloro-exo-2-norbornanol ( 16 ) and endo-5-(bromomethyl)-exo-6-(chloromethyl)-endo-3-chloro-exo-2-norbornanol ( 17 ) were obtained by HCl- and, respectively, HBr-addition to endo-5, exo-6-bis (chloromethyl)-exo-2, 3-epoxynorbornane ( 5 ). The Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement was precluded in these reactions probably because of the formation of a relatively stable chloronium ion 15 arising from the participation of the 1,4-chlorine atom of the endo-5-chloromethyl group in the heterolytic ring opening of the epoxide 5 . The ‘naked’ fluoride anion (excess CsF in DMF or KF in DMF with 18-crown-6-ether) permitted the selective elimination of 2 equivalents of HCl from 16 and yielded the chlorohydrin-diene 18 .  相似文献

Substituted 3-(phenylthio)-3-sulfolenes (3) and (4) are good precursors for 2-(phenylthio)-1,3-butadienes (5) and (6). The Diels-Alder reaction of the dienes derived from (3) and (4) with various dienophiles was studied. It was found that heating of sulfolenes (3) with methyl propiolate and N-phenylmaleimide afforded the Diels-Alder adducts of (5) directly and with complete regio- and stereospecificity. The same reaction with methyl vinyl ketone gave a mixture of endo and exo addition products. If sulfolenes (3) were first converted to the dienes (5) using lithium aluminum hydride and then reacted with methyl vinyl ketone in the presence of anhydrous zinc chloride, the stereoselectivity could be improved. Sulfolenes (4) also underwent cycloreversion/cycloaddition with methyl acrylate, methyl vinyl ketone, and N-phenylmaleimide, but gave mostly the double bond-isomerized cycloaddition products. The regiochemistry of cycloaddition was delicately dependent on the dienophiles used.  相似文献

Ethyl (Z)-3-fluoropropenoate (Z-5) has been prepared in a pure state in 68% yield by a Wittig procedure developed by Burton. Ethyl (E)-3-fluoropropenoate (E-6) was prepared in 38% yield following the synthetic method of Purrington. The Z isomer gives cycloaddition with 1,3-diphenylisobenzofuran and cyclopentadiene to give a product with completely endo configurations. The E isomer also gives cycloadducts with same dienes to give mixtures of endo and exo products.  相似文献

The Diels-Alder reaction of cyclopentadiene with methyl acrylate catalyzed by AlCl3 has been theoretically investigated. M06-2X level DFT calculations have shown that the formation of two C−C bonds is asynchronous in the cycloaddition both in the endo path and in the exo path, thus making a good contrast to the well-known concept of [4+2] reactions based on the orbital symmetry arguments. It was found that the catalyst facilitates the cycloaddition and brings a higher endo selectivity in the highly asynchronous process, as compared with the reaction of the diene and the dienophile without the catalyst.  相似文献

Synthesis and 1H NMR Spectra of (3-Acylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-2-yl)phosphonates Reaction of the (E)-(β-acylvinyl)phosphonates 1 with cyclopentadiene yields the isomeric norbornylphosphonates 2 (endo-acyl, exo-P) and 3 (exo-acyl, endo-P) in a 7:3 ratio. With 1,3-cyclohexadiene the corresponding bicyclooctenyl derivatives 7 and 8 are obtained from 1a . The (Z)-phosphinylacrylate 4 gives with cyclopentadiene the isomers 5 (exo-CO2Me, exo-P) and 6 (endo-CO2Me, endo-P) in nearly equal amounts. The configuration of the cycloadducts has been proved by 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Specific features of the reactions of bis(chloroethyl) 2-nitro- and 2-bromo-2-nitroethenylphosphonates with 1,3-cyclohexadiene were studied. It was found that the reaction with 2-nitroethenylphosphonate occurs stereoselectively and provides bis(2-chloroethyl) endo-(3-nitrobicyclo[2.2.2]oct-5-en-2-yl)phosphonate. 2-Bromo-2-nitroethenylphosphonate under the same conditions gives a mixture of the endo and exo isomers of the corresponding nitrobicyclooctenes. Abstract

The hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of 1,3-diene-polyols with glyoxylates is an expeditious way to build up the skeleton of ulosonic acids. This paper reports an efficient means to improve the yields and the stereoselectivity associated with the hetero-cycloaddition of the activated 1,3-diene, 2S,3S-4E-1-O-Benzyl-2,3-O-isopropylidene-6-ter-butyldimethylsilyloxyhepta-4,6-diene-1,2,3-triol (3) with the dienophile ethyl glyoxylate. The effects of temperature, catalyst, and solvent on the outcome of the Diels-Alder reaction were investigated. The cycloaddition can proceed smoothly even at ?78°C and the complex bis [3-(heptafluorobutyryl)camphorato]oxovanadium (8) was found to be a very efficient catalyst for the cycloaddition reaction. The satisfactory selectivity (endo/exo: 97:3 and re/si: 82:18) observed in this catalytic reaction shows that there is a match effect between the substrate and catalyst.  相似文献

UV irradiation of trans-trans-3,7-bis(arylmethylene)bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-2,6-diones leads to their complete or partial transformation into the corresponding cis-cis isomers. Irradiation of trans-trans-3,7-bis(arylmethylene)bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-2,6-diol in ether in the presence of CuCl results in intramolecular cyclization involving the exocyclic double bonds and one benzene ring to give exo-7endo-10-dihydroxy-2-phenyl-3,4-benzotetracyclo[4.3.3.18,11.01,6]tridecane.  相似文献

A Diels-Alder reaction of α-tropolone and electron-deficient dienophiles prompted by Et3N or silica gel was performed. Reaction with the highly reactive dienophile, N-methylmaleimide, proceeded smoothly in the presence of Et3N or silica gel to yield adducts as a mixture of endo and exo isomers. Both catalysts accelerated endo/exo isomerization of the product, and detailed examination of the reaction using hinokitiol and N-methylmaleimide revealed that isomerization proceeds via an intramolecular path without retro Diels-Alder reaction. Successful cycloaddition reactions were established with six other dienophiles: acrylonitrile, methyl acrylate, ethyl vinyl ketone, dimethyl fumalate, dimethyl malate, and dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate, and the corresponding adducts were obtained in good to moderate yields.  相似文献

Solvolysis of 4-Alkydenbicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-en-6-oles. Synthesis of 1-Vinylfulvenes and 8,8-Diphenylheptafulvene Four 4-alkylidenebicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-en-6-ones 2–5 , obtained via ketene cycloaddition to fulvenes, were reduced to separated mixtures of the ‘endo’ -alcohols ‘endo’- 6 to ‘endo’- 9 (68–73%) and ‘exo’- 6 to ‘exo’- 9 (3–20%). Treatment of some of these alcohols with (CF3SO2)2O in CH2Cl2/pyridine caused a spontaneous solvolysis to yield unsaturated 7-membered rings as pyridinium triflates 10–12 or 1-vinylfulvenes 13 and 14 , a new class of reactive tetraenes: Both ‘endo’- 9 and ‘exo’- 9 , having two methyl groups at C(7), were converted into the vinylfulvene 13 (≈ 80%). The alcohols with two H-atoms at C(7) exhibited a stereochemically controlled reaction selectivity, inasmuch as ‘endo’- 6 to ‘endo’- 8 afforded only the corresponding 7-membered-ring pyridinium salts 10–12 (66–79%), while ‘exo’- 6 produced only the vinylfulvene 14 (77%). A stereoelectronic control argument explains the C(1), C(5)-bond cleavage with ‘endo’- B and ‘endo’– 6 -‘endo’- 8 , as well as the C(1), C(7)-bond cleavage with ‘exo’- B , ‘exo’- 6 , and with both ‘endo’- and ‘exo’- 9 . Thermolysis (120°) of the pyridinium triflates 10 and 11 yielded the 3-isopropenyl-cycloheptatrienes 18 and 19 , respectively (≈90%); similar conditions (145°) applied to the triflate 12 produced the doubly cyclized fluorene derivative 21 (60%). When the iodide 22 derived from the triflate 12 with Nal was heated in refluxing toluene, 8,8-diphenylheptafulvene ( 23 , 86%) was obtained.  相似文献

The chemo-, regio- and stereoselectivities of electrophilic sulfenylation of bicyclo[2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene with arenesulfenamides activated by phosphorus(v) oxohalides were studied. The ratio of the products of endo- to exo-attack of the diene by the electrophilic species depends on the solvent nature. The proportions of the products formed upon addition to one double bond and upon homoallylic participation of the second double bond depend on solvent polarity, the nature of the halogen, the substituents in the sulfenamide benzene ring, and on the reaction time. In addition, the formation of mixed adducts was proven for the reaction carried out in acetonitrile and the formation of disulfenylation products was found in the reaction with excess sulfenylating reagent. Isomerization of exo-3-arylthio-endo-2-halobicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-enes to the products formed with homoallylic participation of the second double bond, exo-5-arylthio-endo-3-halotricyclo[2.2.1.02,6]heptanes, was shown to be possible.  相似文献
