In this paper, we introduce a total step method for solving a system of linear complementarity problems with perturbations and interval data. It is applied to two interval matrices [A] and [B] and two interval vectors [b] and [c]. We prove that the sequence generated by the total step method converges to ([x],[y]) which includes the solution set for the system of linear complementarity problems defined by any fixed A∈[A],B∈[B],b∈[b] and c∈[c]. We also consider a modification of the method and show that, if we start with two interval vectors containing the limits, then the iterates contain the limits. We close our paper with two examples which illustrate our theoretical results.  相似文献

This is the third part of a series of four articles on weighted norm inequalities, off-diagonal estimates and elliptic operators. For L in some class of elliptic operators, we study weighted norm Lp inequalities for singular “non-integral” operators arising from L; those are the operators φ(L) for bounded holomorphic functions φ, the Riesz transforms ∇L−1/2 (or (−Δ)1/2L−1/2) and its inverse L1/2(−Δ)−1/2, some quadratic functionals gL and GL of Littlewood-Paley-Stein type and also some vector-valued inequalities such as the ones involved for maximal Lp-regularity. For each, we obtain sharp or nearly sharp ranges of p using the general theory for boundedness of Part I and the off-diagonal estimates of Part II. We also obtain commutator results with BMO functions.  相似文献

In this article we prove weighted norm inequalities and pointwise estimates between the multilinear fractional integral operator and the multilinear fractional maximal. As a consequence of these estimations we obtain weighted weak and strong inequalities for the multilinear fractional maximal operator or function. In particular, we extend some results given in Carro et al. (2005) [7] to the multilinear context. On the other hand we prove weighted pointwise estimates between the multilinear fractional maximal operator Mα,B associated to a Young function B and the multilinear maximal operators Mψ=M0,ψ, ψ(t)=B(t1−α/(nm))nm/(nmα). As an application of these estimate we obtain a direct proof of the LpLq boundedness results of Mα,B for the case B(t)=t and Bk(t)=tk(1+log+t) when 1/q=1/pα/n. We also give sufficient conditions on the weights involved in the boundedness results of Mα,B that generalizes those given in Moen (2009) [22] for B(t)=t. Finally, we prove some boundedness results in Banach function spaces for a generalized version of the multilinear fractional maximal operator.  相似文献

This paper considers Fourier series approximations of one- and two-dimensional functions over the half-range, that is, over the sub-interval [0, L] of the interval [−L, L] in one-dimensional problems and over the sub-domain [0, Lx] × [0, Ly] of the domain [−LxLx] × [−LyLy] in two-dimensional problems. It is shown how to represent these functions using a Fourier series that employs a smooth extension. The purpose of the smooth extension is to improve the convergence characteristics otherwise obtained using the even and odd extensions. Significantly improved convergence characteristics are illustrated in one-dimensional and two-dimensional problems.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the wave equation with nonlinear damping and source terms. We are interested in the interaction between the boundary damping −|yt(L,t)|m−1yt(L,t) and the interior source |y(t)|p−1y(t). Under an additional restriction on g, we prove the equivalence in B of the systems f n * g and I f n , where f n L 1, n ∈ ?, and I f = f * 1 is the antiderivative of f. We investigate the boundedness of unimodular Fourier multipliers on modulation spaces. Surprisingly, the multipliers with general symbol eiα|ξ|, where α∈[0,2], are bounded on all modulation spaces, but, in general, fail to be bounded on the usual Lp-spaces. As a consequence, the phase-space concentration of the solutions to the free Schrödinger and wave equations are preserved. As a byproduct, we also obtain boundedness results on modulation spaces for singular multipliers |ξ|δsin(α|ξ|) for 0?δ?α.  相似文献

We consider a scalar integral equation where aL2[0,), while C(t,s) has a significant singularity, but is convex when ts>0. We construct a Liapunov functional and show that g(t,x(t))−a(t)∈L2[0,) and that x(t)−a(t)→0 pointwise as t. Small perturbations are also added to the kernel. In addition, we consider both infinite and finite delay problems. This paper offers a first step toward treating discontinuous kernels with Liapunov functionals.  相似文献

We obtain asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the operator in the case of the Neumann-Dirichlet conditions [y [1](0) = 0, y(π) = 0] and Neumann conditions [y [1](0) = 0, y [1](π) = 0] and refine similar formulas for all types of boundary conditions. We define an extended Cesàro operator Tg with holomorphic symbol g in the unit ball B of Cn. For a large class of weights w we characterize those g for which Tg is bounded (or compact) from Bergman space Lpa,w(B) to Lqa,w(B), 0<p,q<∞.
