Two cyano-bridged Cu(II)-M(V) [M = Mo (2), W (3)] complexes formed by self-assembly of octacyanometalates [M(CN)8]3- (M = Mo, W) with a new molecular precursor [Cu(L2)]2+ (1) (L2 = a macrocyclic ligand) in a 2:3 ratio have been investigated in terms of structures and magnetic behaviors. The M2Cu3 repeating unit of both bimetallic compounds is extended to a two-dimensional honeycomblike layered structure. The pendant ethyl groups on L2 noticeably influence the structural parameters around the Cu center. Compared with the system composed of a macrocycle without a side group, Cu-N(ax) (ax = axial) distances become shorter and the Cu-N(ax)-C(ax) angles are more bent for 2 and 3. The magnetic data denote that the Cu(II) and M(V) spins undergo explicit ferromagnetic interactions via CN bridges. From a structural and magnetic point of view, given that the Cu-N(ax) bond length in the tetragonally distorted octahedral Cu(II) environment is long enough, the overall ferromagnetic character remains despite the variation of Cu-N(ax)-C(ax) angle in this system.  相似文献

The reaction of [M(CN)(6)](3-) (M = Cr(3+), Mn(3+), Fe(3+), Co(3+)) and [M(CN)(8)](4-/3-) (M = Mo(4+/5+), W(4+/5+)) with the trinuclear copper(II) complex of 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltris[3-(1,3,5,8,12-pentaazacyclotetradecane)] ([Cu(3)(L)](6+)) leads to partially encapsulated cyanometalates. With hexacyanometalate(III) complexes, [Cu(3)(L)](6+) forms the isostructural host-guest complexes [[[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))(2)][M(CN)(6)](2)][M(CN)(6)]][M(CN)(6)]30 H(2)O with one bridging, two partially encapsulated, and one isolated [M(CN)(6)](3-) unit. The octacyanometalates of Mo(4+/5+) and W(4+/5+) are encapsulated by two tris-macrocyclic host units. Due to the stability of the +IV oxidation state of Mo and W, only assemblies with [M(CN)(8)](4-) were obtained. The Mo(4+) and W(4+) complexes were crystallized in two different structural forms: [[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))](2)[Mo(CN)(8)]](NO(3))(8)15 H(2)O with a structural motif that involves isolated spherical [[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))](2)[M(CN)(8)]](8+) ions and a "string-of-pearls" type of structure [[[Cu(3)(L)](2)[M(CN)(8)]][M(CN)(8)]](NO(3))(4) 20 H(2)O, with [M(CN)(8)](4-) ions that bridge the encapsulated octacyanometalates in a two-dimensional network. The magnetic exchange coupling between the various paramagnetic centers is characterized by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility and field-dependent magnetization data. Exchange between the CuCu pairs in the [Cu(3)(L)](6+) "ligand" is weakly antiferromagnetic. Ferromagnetic interactions are observed in the cyanometalate assemblies with Cr(3+), exchange coupling of Mn(3+) and Fe(3+) is very small, and the octacoordinate Mo(4+) and W(4+) systems have a closed-shell ground state.  相似文献

Six Mo(IV)-Cu(II) complexes, [Cu(tpa)](2)[Mo(CN)(8)]·15H(2)O (1, tpa = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine), [Cu(tren)](2)[Mo(CN)(8)]·5.25H(2)O (2, tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine), [Cu(en)(2)][Cu(0.5)(en)][Cu(0.5)(en)(H(2)O)][Mo(CN)(8)]·4H(2)O (3, en = ethylenediamine), [Cu(bapa)](3)[Mo(CN)(8)](1.5)·12.5H(2)O (4, bapa = bis(3-aminopropyl)amine), [Cu(bapen)](2)[Mo(CN)(8)]·4H(2)O (5, bapen = N,N'-bis(3-aminopropyl)ethylenediamine), and [Cu(pn)(2)][Cu(pn)][Mo(CN)(8)]·3.5H(2)O (6, pn = 1,3-diaminopropane), were synthesized and characterized. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses show that 1-6 have different structures varying from trinuclear clusters (1-2), a one-dimensional belt (3), two-dimensional grids (4-5), to a three-dimensional structure (6). Magnetic and ESR measurements suggest that 1-6 exhibit thermally reversible photoresponsive properties on UV light irradiation through a Mo(IV)-to-Cu(II) charge transfer mechanism. A trinuclear compound [Cu(II)(tpa)](2)[Mo(V)(CN)(8)](ClO(4)) (7) was synthesized as a model of the photoinduced intermediate.  相似文献

The self-assembly of [Cu(II)(dien)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) and [W(V)(CN)(8)](3-) in aqueous solution leads to the formation (H(3)O){[Cu(II)(dien)](4)[W(V)(CN)(8)]}[W(V)(CN)(8)](2)·6.5H(2)O (1). The crystal structure of 1 consists of an unprecedented {[Cu(II)(dien)](4)[W(V)(CN)(8)]}(5+)(∞) chain of (2,8) topology, nonbridging [W(CN)(8)](3-) anions, and crystallization water molecules. The analysis of magnetic behavior of 1 was performed by the density functional theory (DFT) method and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The DFT broken symmetry approach gave two J(CuW) coupling constants: J(ax) = +2.9 cm(-1) assigned to long and strongly bent W-CN-Cu linkage, and the J(eq) = +1.5 cm(-1) assigned to short and less bent W-CN-Cu linkage, located at the axial and the equatorial positions of square pyramidal Cu(II) centers, respectively, in the hexanuclear {W(2)Cu(4)} chain subunit. The dominance of weak-to-moderate ferromagnetic coupling within the chain was confirmed by magnetic calculations. Zero-field susceptibility of the full chain segment {WCu(4)}(n) was calculated by a semiclassical analytical approach assuming that only one W(V) out of five ? spins of the chain unit WCu(4) is treated as a classical commuting variable. The calculation of the field dependence of the magnetization was performed separately by replacing the same spin with the Ising variable and applying the standard transfer matrix technique. The intermolecular coupling between the chain segments and off-chain [W(CN)(8)](3-) entities was resolved using the mean-field approximation set to be of antiferromagnetic character. The magnetic coupling parameters are compared with those of other low dimensional {Cu(II)-[M(V)(CN)(8)]} systems.  相似文献

Treatment of [M(II)(en)(3)][OTs](2) or methanolic ethylenediamine solutions containing transition metal p-toluenesulfonates (M(II) = Mn, Co) with aqueous K(4)M(IV)(CN)(8).2H(2)O or Cs(3)M(V)(CN)(8) (M(IV) = Mo, W; M(V) = Mo) affords crystalline clusters of [M(II)(en)(3)][cis-M(II)(en)(2)(OH(2))(mu-NC)M(IV)(CN)(7)].2H(2)O (M(IV) = Mo; M(II) = Mn, 1; Ni, 5; M(IV) = W; M(II) = Mn, 2; Ni, 6) and [cis-M(II)(en)(2)(OH(2))](2)[(mu-NC)(2)M(IV)(CN)(6)].4H(2)O (M(IV) = Mo; M(II) = Co, 3; Ni, 7; M(IV) = W; M(II) = Co, 4) stoichiometry. Each cluster contains cis-M(II)(en)(2)(OH(2))(mu-NC)(2+) units that likely result from dissociative loss of en from [M(II)(en)(3)](2+), affording cis-M(II)(en)(2)(OH(2))(2)(2+) intermediates that are trapped by M(IV)(CN)(8)(4-).  相似文献

The reaction of the hexacyanometalates K3[M(1)(CN)6] (M(1) = Cr(III), Fe(III), Co(III)) with the bispidine complexes [M(2)(L(1))(X)](n+) and [M(2)(L(2))(X)](n+) (M(2) = Mn(II), Ni(II), Cu(II); L(1) = 3-methyl-9-oxo-2,4-di-(2-pyridyl)-7-(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-1,5-dicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester; L(2) = 3-methyl-9-oxo-7-(2-pyridylmethyl)-2,4-di-(2-quinolyl)-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-1,5-dicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester; X = anion or solvent) in water-methanol mixtures affords trinuclear complexes with cis- or trans-arrangement of the bispidine-capped divalent metal centers around the hexacyanometalate. X-ray structural analyses of five members of this family of complexes (cis-Fe[CuL(2)]2, trans-Fe[CuL(1)]2, cis-Co[CuL(2)]2, trans-Cr[MnL(1)]2, trans-Fe[MnL(1)]2) and the magnetic data of the entire series are reported. The magnetic data of the cyanide bridged, ferromagnetically coupled cis- and trans-Fe[ML]2 compounds (M = Ni(II), Cu(II)) with S = 3/2 (Cu(II)) and S = 5/2 (Ni(II)) ground states are analyzed with an extended Heisenberg Hamiltonian which accounts for anisotropy and zero-field splitting, and the data of the Cu(II) systems, for which structures are available, are thoroughly analyzed in terms of an orbital-dependent Heisenberg Hamiltonian, in which both spin-orbit coupling and low-symmetry ligand fields are taken into account. It is shown that the absence of single-molecule magnetic behavior in all spin clusters reported here is due to a large angular distortion of the [Fe(CN)6](3-) center and the concomitant quenching of orbital angular momentum of the Fe(III) ((2)T2g) ground state.  相似文献

The microwave-mediated self-assembly of [W(V)(CN)(8)](3-) with Cu(II) in the presence of pyrazole ligand resulted in the formation of three novel assemblies: Cu(II)(2)(Hpyr)(5)(H(2)O)[W(V)(CN)(8)](NO(3))·H(2)O (1), {Cu(II)(5)(Hpyr)(18)[W(V)(CN)(8)](4)}·[Cu(II)(Hpyr)(4)(H(2)O)(2)]·9H(2)O (2), and Cu(II)(4)(Hpyr)(10)(H(2)O)[W(V)(CN)(8)](2)(HCOO)(2)·4.5H(2)O (3) (Hpyr =1H-pyrazole). Single-crystal X-ray structure of 1 consists of cyanido-bridged 1-D chains of vertex-sharing squares topology. The structure of 2 reveals 2-D hybrid inorganic layer topology with large coordination spaces occupied by {Cu(Hpyr)(2)(H(2)O)(4)}(2+) ions. Compound 3 contains two types of cyanido-bridged 1-D chains of vertex-sharing squares linked together by formate ions in two directions forming hybrid inorganic-organic 3-D framework (I(1)O(2)). The magnetic measurements for 1-3 reveal a weak ferromagnetic coupling through Cu(II)-NC-W(V) bridges.  相似文献

The syntheses and structural and physical characterization of the compounds [Cu(bipy)(2)](2)[Mo(CN)(8)].5H(2)O. CH(3)OH (1) with bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine and M(II)(2)[Mo(IV)(CN)(8)].xH(2)O (2 with M = Cu, x = 7.5; 3 with M = Mn, x = 9.5) are presented. 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1; (a = 11.3006(4) A, b = 12.0886(5) A, c = 22.9589(9) A, alpha = 81.799(2) degrees, beta = 79.787(2) degrees, gamma = 62.873(2) degrees, Z = 2). The structure of 1 consists of neutral trinuclear molecules in which a central [Mo(CN8)](4-) anion is linked to two [Cu(bipy)2](2+) cations through two cyanide bridges. 2 crystallizes poorly, and hence, structural information has been obtained from the wide-angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) technique, by comparison with 3 and Fe(II)(2)(H(2)O)(4)[Mo(IV)(CN)(8)].4H(2)O whose X-ray structure has been previously solved. 2, 3, and Fe(II)(2)(H(2)O)(4)[Mo(IV)(CN)(8)].4H(2)O form extended networks with all the cyano groups acting as bridges. The magnetic properties have shown that 1 and 2 behave as paramagnets. Under irradiation with light, they exhibit important modifications of their magnetic properties, with the appearance at low temperature of magnetic interactions. For 1 the modifications are irreversible, whereas they are reversible for 2 after cycling in temperature. These photomagnetic effects are thought to be caused by the conversion of Mo(IV) (diamagnetic) to Mo(V)(paramagnetic) through a photooxidation mechanism for 1 and a photoinduced electron transfer in 2. These results have been correlated with the structural features.  相似文献

The redox-active fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) (mp: o-mercaptophenolato) bearing asymmetric O- and S-cation binding sites can bind with several kinds of metal ions such as Na(+), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(I). The fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) metalloligand coordinates to Na(+) to form the contact ion pair {Na(+)(THF)(3)[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)]} (1), while a separated ion pair, n-Bu(4)N[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)] (2), is obtained by exchanging Na(+) with n-Bu(4)N(+). In the presence of asymmetric binding-sites, the metalloligand reacts with Mn(II)Cl(2)·4H(2)O, Fe(II)Cl(2)·4H(2)O, Co(II)Cl(2)·6H(2)O, and Ni(II)Cl(2)·6H(2)O to afford UV-vis-NIR spectra, indicating binding of these guest metal cations. Especially, for the cases of the Mn(II) and Co(II) products, trinuclear complexes, {M(H(2)O)(MeOH)[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)](2)}·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (M = Mn(II)), 4·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (M = Co(II))), are successfully isolated and structurally characterized where the M are selectively bound to the hard O-binding sites of the fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-). On the other hand, a coordination polymer, {Cu(I)(CH(3)CN)[mer-Mo(V)(mp)(3)]}(n) (5), is obtained by the reaction of fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) with [Cu(I)(CH(3)CN)(4)]ClO(4). In sharp contrast to the cases of 1, 3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2), and 4·1.5CH(2)Cl(2), the Cu(I) in 5 are selectively bound to the soft S-binding sites, where each Cu(I) is shared by two [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) with bidentate or monodentate coordination modes. The second notable feature of 5 is found in the geometric change of the [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-), where the original fac-form of 1 is isomerized to the mer-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) in 5, which was structurally and spectroscopically characterized for the first time. Such isomerization demonstrates the structural flexibility of the [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-). Spectroscopic studies strongly indicate that the association/dissociation between the guest metal ions and metalloligand can be modulated by solvent polarity. Furthermore, it was also found that such association/dissociation features are significantly influenced by coexisting anions such as ClO(4)(-) or B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-). This suggests that coordination bonds between the guest metal ions and metalloligand are not too static, but are sufficiently moderate to be responsive to external environments. Moreover, electrochemical data of 1 and 3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) demonstrated that guest metal ion binding led to enhance electron-accepting properties of the metalloligand. Our results illustrate the use of a redox-active chalcogenolato complex with a simple mononuclear structure as a multifunctional metalloligand that is responsive to chemical and electrochemical stimuli.  相似文献

The coordination behaviour of a new thiosemicarbazone Schiff-base building block, N-{2-([4-N-ethylthiosemicarbazone]methyl)phenyl}-p-toluenesulfonamide, H2L1 (1), incorporating a bulky tosyl group, towards Mn II, Fe II, Co II, Ni II, Cu II, Zn II, Cd II, Ag I, Sn II, and Pb II has been investigated by means of an electrochemical preparative procedure. Most metal complexes of L1 have the general formula [M(L1)]2.nX (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Cd, Pb; n=0-4, X=H2O or CH3CN), as confirmed by the structure of [Pb(L1)]2 (15), in which the lone pair on lead is stereochemically active. This lead(II) complex shows an intense fluorescence emission with a quantum yield of 0.13. In the case of silver, the complex formed was found to possess a stoichiometry of [Ag2(L1)]2.3H2O. During reactions with manganese and copper metals, interesting catalysed processes have been found to take place, with remarkable consequences regarding the ligand skeleton structure. In synthesising the manganese complex, we obtained an unexpected dithiolate thiosemicarbazone tosyl ligand, H2L2, as a side-product, which has been fully characterised, including by X-ray diffraction analysis. In the case of copper, the solid complex has the formula [CuL1]2, but the crystallised product shows the copper atoms coordinated to a new cyclised thiosemicarbazone ligand, H2L3, as in the structures of the complexes [Cu(L3)]2.CH3CN (8) and [Cu(L3)(H2O)]2.CH3CN.H2O (9). The zinc complex [Zn(L1)]4 (12) displays a particular tetranuclear zeolite-type structure capable of hosting small molecules or ions, presumably through hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Reaction of the preorganized strands of ([Cu(II)(mu-4,4'-bpy)](2+))n (4,4'-bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine) with [W(V)(CN)(8)](3)(-) leads to a novel cyano-bridged Cu(II)(3)W(V)(2) complex [Cu(mu-4,4'-bpy)(DMF)(2)][Cu(mu-4,4'-bpy)(DMF)](2)[W(V)(CN)(8)](2).2DMF. 2H(2)O 1. The structure of 1 consists of the expected 2-dimensional grid-type network which is built of infinite ([Cu(II)(mu-4,4'-bpy)](2+))n chains cross-linked by octacyanotungstate units. The Cu(II)-NC-W(V)-CN-Cu(II) linkage exhibits the topology of a 3,2-chain. The skeleton of the layer is additionally stabilized by a hydrogen bond network formed by terminal cyano ligands of the [W(CN)(8)](3-) moiety and water molecules. The distance between the adjacent Cu(3)(II)W(2)(V) chains within the layer is 11.12 A along the a axis. The layers are connected by H-bonds of NCN-NDMF-NCN linkages into 3-D supramolecular architecture. The magnetic properties correspond to a dominant ferromagnetic coupling within the Cu(II)(3)W(V)(2) pentamer units (J = +35(4) cm(-1)) and much weaker effective AF interunit coupling which include both intra- and inter-3,2-chain interactions between pentamers (J' = -0.05(1) cm(-1)).  相似文献

A series of group 6 transition metal half-sandwich complexes with 1,1-dichalcogenide ligands have been prepared by the reactions of Cp*MCl(4)(Cp* = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5); M = Mo, W) with the potassium salt of 2,2-dicyanoethylene-1,1-dithiolate, (KS)(2)C=C(CN)(2) (K(2)-i-mnt), or the analogous seleno compound, (KSe)(2)C=C(CN)(2) (K(2)-i-mns). The reaction of Cp*MCl(4) with (KS)(2)C=C(CN)(2) in a 1:3 molar ratio in CH(3)CN gave rise to K[Cp*M(S(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)] (M = Mo, 1a, 74%; M = W, 2a, 46%). Under the same conditions, the reaction of Cp*MoCl(4) with 3 equiv of (KSe)(2)C=C(CN)(2) afforded K[Cp*Mo(Se(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)] (3a) and K[Cp*Mo(Se(2)C=C(CN)(2))(Se(Se(2))C=C(CN)(2))] (4) in respective yields of 45% and 25%. Cation exchange reactions of 1a, 2a, and 3a with Et(4)NBr resulted in isolation of (Et(4)N)[Cp*Mo(S(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)] (1b), (Et(4)N)[Cp*W(S(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)] (2b), and (Et(4)N)[Cp*Mo(Se(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)] (3b), respectively. Complex 4 crystallized with one THF and one CH(3)CN molecule as a three-dimensional network structure. Inspection of the reaction of Cp*WCl(4) with (KSe)(2)C=C(CN)(2) by ESI-MS revealed the existence of three species in CH(3)CN, [Cp*W(Se(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)]-, [Cp*W(Se(2)C=C(CN)(2))(Se(Se(2))C=C(CN)(2))]-, and [Cp*W(Se(Se(2))C=C(CN)(2))(2)]-, of which [Cp*W(Se(2)C=C(CN)(2))(Se(Se(2))C=C(CN)(2))]-(5) was isolated as the main product. Treatment of 2a with 1/4 equiv of S(8) in refluxing THF resulted in sulfur insertion and gave rise to K[Cp*W(S(2)C=C(CN)(2))(S(S(2))C=C(CN)(2))](6), which crystallized with two THF molecules forming a three-dimensional network structure. 6 can also be prepared by refluxing 2a with 1/4 equiv of S(8) in THF. 3a readily added one Se atom upon treatment with 1 mol of Se powder in THF to give 4 in high yield, while the treatment of 3a or 4 with 2 equiv of Na(2)Se in THF led to formation of a dinuclear complex [(Cp*Mo)(2)(mu-Se)(mu-Se(Se(3))C=C(CN)(2))] (7). The structure of 7 consists of two Cp*Mo units bridged by a Se(2-) and a [Se(Se(3))C=C(CN)(2)](2-) ligand in which the triselenido group is arranged in a nearly linear way (163 degrees). The reaction of 2a with 2 equiv of CuBr in CH(3)CN yielded a trinuclear complex [Cp*WCu(2)(mu-Br)(mu(3)-S(2)C=C(CN)(2))(2)] (8), which crystallized with one CH(3)CN and generated a one-dimensional chain polymer through bonding of Cu to the N of the cyano groups.  相似文献

Three new homo- and heterometallic hexanuclear complexes [Mn(2)M(II)(4)O(2)(PhCOO)(10)(DMF)(4)] (with M = Mn (1), Co (2) or Ni (3) and DMF = dimethylformamide) have been synthesized by redox generation of benzoate ligands from benzaldehyde in a one-pot reaction. All of the compounds are isostructural and crystallize in the I-42d space group of the tetragonal system, data for 1: a = 27.2249(8) Angstroms, c = 25.5182(5) Angstroms, R1 = 0.0681. The crystal structure contains isolated molecules. Each molecule consists of 2 x Mn(III) surrounded by four M(II) ions to form two edge-sharing OMn(2)M(2) tetrahedra giving rise to the [Mn(2)M(4)O(2)] core. The coordination sphere of each metal is completed by the bridging benzoate ligands and DMF molecules. The magnetic susceptibilities of 1-3 have been measured in the 1.8 K < T < 300 K temperature range. The magnetic susceptibilities for 1 and 2 pass through a broad maximum at low temperature which is characteristic of the diamagnetic ground state, while for 3 no maximum is detected down to 1.8 K. The magnetic data have been interpreted quantitatively for 1 and 3 on the basis of spin exchange interactions between the metallic centers (spin Hamiltonian for a pair being H(AB) = -J(AB) S(A).S(B)). Single-crystal measurements on [Mn(6)O(2)(PhCOO)(10)(CH(3)CN)(4)] (4) show that significant magnetic anisotropy develops at low temperature.  相似文献

A new route is developed for the synthesis of molybdenum and tungsten porphyrins using [M(NO)(2)py(2)Cl(2)] (M = Mo, W) as the metal source and TPP (dianion of 5,10,15,20-meso-tetraphenylporphyrin) in the benzoic acid melt. Complexes [Mo(V)O(TPP)(OOCPh)] (1) and [W(V)O(TPP)(OOCPh)] (2) are isolated in almost quantitative yield. These are characterized by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis, electron paramagnetic resonance, electronic and IR spectroscopy, and magnetic moment measurements. Benzenethiol substitutes for PhCOO(-) in 1, forming an intermediate thiolato complex that responds to the intramolecular redox reaction across the Mo(V)-SPh bond to yield [Mo(IV)O(TPP)] (3). Under an excess of benzenethiol, PhS(-) is coordinated to the vacant site in 3, which under aerial oxidation is oxidized to benzenesulfonate to form [Mo(V)O(TPP)(O(3)SPh)] (4). 2 undergoes similar aerial oxidation chemistry albeit slowly.  相似文献

Near-UV irradiation of structurally characterized [Re(I)(CO)3(1,10-phenanthroline)(Q107H)](W48F/Y72F/H83Q/Y108W)AzM(II) [Az = Pseudomonas aeruginosa azurin, M = Cu, Zn]/[Co(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 produces a tryptophan radical (W108*) with unprecedented kinetic stability. After rapid formation (k = 2.8 x 106 s-1), the radical persists for more than 5 h at room temperature in the folded ReAzM(II) structure. The absorption spectrum of ReAz(W108*)M(II) exhibits maxima at 512 and 536 nm. Oxidation of K4[Mo(CN)8] by ReAz(W108*)Zn(II) places the W108*/W108 reduction potential in the protein above 0.8 V vs NHE.  相似文献

The syntheses, X-ray structures, and magnetic behaviors of two new cyano-bridged assemblies, the molecular [Mn(III)(salen)H2O]3[W(V)(CN)8].H2O (1) and one-dimensional [Mn(salen)(H2O)2]2[[Mn(salen)(H2O)][Mn(salen)]2[Mo(CN)(8)]].0.5ClO4.0.5OH.4.5H2O (2), are presented. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, has space group P2(1)/c, and has unit cell constants a = 13.7210(2) A, b = 20.6840(4) A, c = 20.6370(2) A, and Z = 4. Compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic system, has space group P, and has unit cell dimensions a = 18.428(4) A, b = 18.521(3) A, c = 18.567(4) A, and Z = 2. The structure of 1 consists of the asymmetric V-shaped Mn-NC-W-NC-Mn-O(phenolate)-Mn molecules, where W(V) coordinates with [Mn(salen)H2O] and singly phenolate-bridged [Mn(salen)H2O]2 moieties through the neighboring cyano bridges. The [W(V)(CN)8]3- ion displays distorted square-antiprism geometry. The structure of 2 consists of the cyano-bridged [Mn3(III)Mo(IV)]n- repeating units linked by double phenolate bridges into one-dimensional zigzag chains. The Mn(III) centers are bound to Mo(IV) of square-antiprism geometry through the neighboring cyano bridges. The magnetic studies of 1 reveal the antiferromagnetic intramolecular interactions through the CN and phenolate bridges and the relatively weak intermolecular interactions. Compound 1 becomes antiferromagnetically ordered below TN = 4.6 K. The presence of the magnetic anisotropy is documented with the MH measurements carried out for both polycrystalline and single-crystal samples. At T = 1.9 K, the spin-flop transition is observed in the field of 18 kOe applied parallel to the bc plane, which is the easy plane of magnetization. Field dependence of magnetization of 1 shows field-induced metamagnetic behavior from the antiferromagnetic ground state of ST = 3/2 to the state of ST = 5/2. The magnetic properties of 2 indicate a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between Mn(III) centers in double-phenolate-bridged [Mn(III)(salen)]2 dinuclear subunits and a very weak ferromagnetic interaction between them through the diamagnetic [Mo(IV)(CN)8]4- spacer.  相似文献

The new cyano complexes of formulas PPh(4)[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)] x H(2)O (1), [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)](2)M(II)(H(2)O)(4)] x 4H(2)O with M = Mn (2) and Zn (3), and [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)](2)Zn(II)] x 2H(2)O (4) [bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine and PPh(4) = tetraphenylphosphonium cation] have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structure of complex 1 is made up of mononuclear [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) anions, tetraphenyphosphonium cations, and water molecules of crystallization. The iron(III) is hexacoordinated with two nitrogen atoms of a chelating bipy and four carbon atoms of four terminal cyanide groups, building a distorted octahedron around the metal atom. The structure of complexes 2 and 3 consists of neutral centrosymmetric [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)](2)M(II)(H(2)O)(4)] heterotrinuclear units and crystallization water molecules. The [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) entity of 1 is present in 2 and 3 acting as a monodentate ligand toward M(H(2)O)(4) units [M = Mn(II) (2) and Zn(II) (3)] through one cyanide group, the other three cyanides remaining terminal. Four water molecules and two cyanide nitrogen atoms from two [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) units in trans positions build a distorted octahedron surrounding Mn(II) (2) and Zn(II) (3). The structure of the [Fe(phen)(CN)(4)](-) complex ligand in 2 and 3 is close to that of the one in 1. The intramolecular Fe-M distances are 5.126(1) and 5.018(1) A in 2 and 3, respectively. 4 exhibits a neutral one-dimensional polymeric structure containing two types of [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) units acting as bismonodentate (Fe(1)) and trismonodentate (Fe(2)) ligands versus the divalent zinc cations through two cis-cyanide (Fe(1)) and three fac-cyanide (Fe(2)) groups. The environment of the iron atoms in 4 is distorted octahedral as in 1-3, whereas the zinc atom is pentacoordinated with five cyanide nitrogen atoms, describing a very distorted square pyramid. The iron-zinc separations across the single bridging cyanides are 5.013(1) and 5.142(1) A at Fe(1) and 5.028(1), 5.076(1), and 5.176(1) A at Fe(2). The magnetic properties of 1-3 have been investigated in the temperature range 2.0-300 K. 1 is a low-spin iron(III) complex with an important orbital contribution. The magnetic properties of 3 correspond to the sum of two magnetically isolated spin triplets, the antiferromagnetic coupling between the low-spin iron(III) centers through the -CN-Zn-NC- bridging skeleton (iron-iron separation larger than 10 A) being very weak. More interestingly, 2 exhibits a significant intramolecular antiferromagnetic interaction between the central spin sextet and peripheral spin doublets, leading to a low-lying spin quartet.  相似文献

Synthesis and Spectroscopic Characterization of Copper(II) and Nickel(II) Tricyanomethanide Complexes with Imidazoles – Crystal Structure of [Cu{C(CN)3}2(2-meiz)2] The copper(II) and nickel(II) tricyanomethanide complexes with imidazoles of the type [Cu{C(CN)3}2L4], [L = 2- or 4-methylimidazole (meiz)] and [M{C(CN)3}2L2] [M = Cu, L = imidazole (iz), 2- or 4-meiz; M = Ni, L = iz, 2- or 4-meiz] were prepared and characterized by electronic, infrared, and – some of them – by ESR spectroscopy. The structure [Cu{C(CN)3}2(2-meiz)2], solved by X-ray crystallographic analysis, shows a two-dimensional network with unsymmetric C(CN)3-bridges between the CuII atoms. Polymeric structures with bridging C(CN)3-groups were identified by means of spectroscopic methods also for the other [M{C(CN)3}2L2] complexes. On the other hand, for the complexes [M{C(CN)3}2L4] follow molecular structures, in which monodentate C(CN)3 ligands are present. All compounds under investigation show a tetragonal-bipyramidal geometry with various degree of tetragonal distortion.  相似文献

A new type of one-dimensional cyanide-bridged Cu(II)--Mo(V) bimetallic assembly, [Cu(cyclam)](3)[Mo(CN)(8)](2)x5H(2)O (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane), was prepared by self-assembling Mo(CN)(8)(3)(-) and Cu(cyclam)(2+) ions in a 2:3 stoichiometric ratio. The overall molecular view is delineated as a novel rope-ladder chain structure. It displays a dominant ferromagnetic behavior within a pentanuclear Cu(3)Mo(2) unit (J(p) = 3.88 cm(-)(1)). Interunit ferromagnetic interactions (J(c) = -0.03 cm(-)(1)) through a longer magnetic pathway of Cu--Mo and weak antiferromagnetic couplings (zJ' = -0.46 cm(-)(1)) resulting from interchain interactions are obtained.  相似文献
