The reactions of 2-, 3-, and 4-(1-vinylpyrrol-2-yl)pyridines with methyl iodide afford the corresponding quaternary salts. Analysis of their 1H and 13C NMR spectra showed that the quaternization of the nitrogen atom considerably enhances the -acceptor effect of the pyridine ring on the pyrrole ring and on the vinyl group. 1-Methyl-2-(1-vinylpyrrol-2-yl)pyridinium iodide contains no weak intramolecular C--H...N hydrogen bond present in the starting compound.  相似文献

The first pyrylium salt was isolated some 80 years ago, yet up to the 1950s only moderate interest was taken in the preparation, properties and uses of such salts. However, the past thirty years has seen a phenomenal growth in the literature pertinent to this area of chemistry: the importance of pyrylium salts as intermediates has been realized. They are readily prepared by a variety of generally applicable routes, and they are highly reactive towards nucleophiles. Together, this enables the convenient synthesis of a great variety of acyclic and heterocyclic compounds. We have used highly substituted pyrylium salts for the two-step conversion of the amino group in alkylamines RNH2 into numerous other functionalities. In the first step, the pyrylium salts are converted with the amines into N-substituted pyridinium salts, which, in the second step, react with Nu? to give the desired products RNu. In some cases the R moiety is also changed, e.g. by elimination. Studies of the reactions of these pyridinium salts have allowed interesting insights into the mechanisms of nucleophilic substitution, in addition to rendering aliphatic amines important synthetic intermediates. Thus, the method complements the diazotization procedure for the transformation of arylamines.  相似文献

Nitrogen heterocycles, viz., pyridines, pyridinium salts, diazepine, and pyrazoles, with an o-carboranyl substituent were obtained by reaction of 4-(o-carboranyl)-pyrylium perchlorates with nitrogen-containig nucleophilic agents, viz., ammonia, primary amines, hydrazine, and phenylhydrazine. (Z)-4-Bromo-1,3-di(2-thienyl)-2-buten-1-one was obtained by the bromination of 1,3-di(2-thienyl)-2-buten-1-one by NBS in anhydrous CCl4. The starting butanone was obtained by the condensation of 1-(2-thienyl)-1-ethanone by the action of SOCl2. The reaction of (Z)-4-bromo-1,3-di(2-thienyl)-2-buten-1-one with tertiary amines such as Et3N, pyridine, 1-alkyl-1,3-diazole, 1-alkylbenzimidazole, and 1-alkyl-1,2,4-triazole leads to quaternary salts. The azolium salts cyclize by the action of base to give di(2-thienyl)azolo[a]pyridinium derivatives. 3-Methyl-6,8-di(2-thienyl)[1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyridin-4-ium and 2,4-di(2-thienyl)pyrido[2,1-b]benzothiazol-10-ium bromides were obtained by the same procedure but without separating the intermediate quaternary salts.  相似文献

Methyl 2-acetylamino-5-[2-(6-methylpyridin-3-yl)vinyl]benzoate reacted with phenacyl bromide to produce quaternary 1-(2-aryl-2-oxoethyl)-2-methyl-5-(4-acetylamino-3-methoxycarbonyl)pyridinium bromides. 1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of the latter to methyl propynoate and dimethyl but-2-ynedioate gave the corresponding indolizine derivatives containing an anthranilic acid ester moiety. Reactions of acetylenes with N-phenacylpyridinium salts obtained from a diterpene alkaloid derivative, 2-(pyridin-3-yl)vinyl-substituted lappaconitine afforded analogous compounds in which the indolizine fragment is conjugated to the aromatic ring of the alkaloid. 1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of 1-(2-aryl-2-oxoethyl)-2-methyl-5-(4-acetylamino-3-methoxycarbonyl) pyridinium bromides with methyl propynoate was regioselective.  相似文献

Pyranylium perchlorates with azulen‐1‐yl moiety in 4‐position and thiophen‐2‐yl or furan‐2‐yl in 2 and 6‐positions were obtained by the substitution of 4‐chloro corresponding salts with azulenes. The pyranylium salts are used as starting materials for the synthesis of pyridine and pyridinium salts. The products were characterized and for pyridines pKa was spectroscopically determined. The reaction of 2-(dialkylamino)-7-methoxychromones with malononitrile in the presence of acetic anhydride afforded [2-(dialkylamino)-7-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-ylidene]malononitriles. When these compounds were refluxed with concentrated hydrochloric (or hydroiodic) acid, 2-(dialkylamino)-7-methoxy(or hydroxy)-4-methylchromenylium salts were obtained. The use of concentrated sulfuric acid or polyphosphoric acid in the hydrolysis was also investigated. The preparation of ethyl [2-(dialkylamino)-7-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-ylidene]cyanoacetates and their behavior when treated with acids are also described, as well as the synthesis of some 3-(dialkylamino)-1-methylnaphtho[2,1-b]pyrylium salts.  相似文献

Abstract  

Benzothieno[2,3-c]pyridinium and benzothieno[2,3-c]quinolinium salts were synthesized either by quaternization of benzothieno[2,3-c]pyridines, or recyclization of benzothieno[2,3-c]pyrylium salts with primary amines. One-pot synthesis of benzothieno[3,2-g]indolizinium salts from 1-(3-chloropropyl)-benzothieno[2,3-c]pyrylium included consequent recyclization of the pyrylium core by ammonia into a pyridine intermediate and its further intramolecular quaternization reaction. Depending on the structure of benzothieno-annelated pyridinium salts, their reaction with sodium borohydride in methanol results in reduction of the pyridine core into tetrahydropyridine or dihydropyridine derivatives. Whereas reduction of benzothieno[2,3-c]pyridinium and benzothieno[3,2-g]indolizinium salts readily yields benzothieno-annelated tetrahydropyridines as a complex mixture of stereoisomers, reduction of benzothieno[2,3-c]quinolinium salts results in dihydropyridine derivatives. The structure of the latter, in particular, was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

The synthesis of 1-(2-propynyl)pyridinium salts 3 described. Compounds 3 react with a second pyridine molecule, in the presence of the corresponding hydrochloride, to form products of type 4, Certain bases cause the 1-(2-propynyl)pyridinium salts 3 to rearrange into 1-propadienylpyridinium salts. 5 . Diethylamine converts compounds 3 into 1-acetonylpyridinium salts 8 . Moreover, treatment of 3 or 5 with sodium methoxide gives enol ether sof type 9, which can be hydrolyzed to teh ketones 8 . The synthesis and characterisation of new trans 2-(thiophen-2-yl)vinyl pyridinium, imidazolium and quinoilinium iodides is reported together with their solvatochromic shifts and EFISH characterization. 2-{(E)-2-[5'-(dibutylamino)-2,2'-bithien-5-yl]vinyl}-1-methyl pyridinium and quinolinium iodides display high μ.β(vec) values up to 1200 × 10(-48) esu. The promising non-linear optical (NLO) properties of this new family of chromophores, which can be further improved by the design of highly efficient systems exploiting the donor and acceptor properties of both heteroaromatic rings and substituents, make them suitable candidates for second harmonic generation imaging with interesting biological applications.  相似文献

The reaction of pyrylium salt with primary amine has been utilized to synthesize 4,4'-bipyri-dinium salts and pyridinium polymers. Seven new 4,4'-(1,4-phenylene-) bis-[N-alkyl(aryl)-2,6-diphenyl-] pyridinium perchlorates 4 and five corresponding bipyridinium polymers 5 were preparedwith good yields from 4,4'-(1,4-phenylene-) bis-(2,6-diphenyl-) pyrylium perchlorate 3. 2,6-Diphenyl-4-(5-R-2-furyl) pyrylium and 2,4-diphenyl-6-(5-bromo-2-furyl) pyrylium perchlorates and the corresponding pyridines and 1-methylpyridinium perchlorates were synthesized. 2-Pyridin-3-ylbenzoxazoles were synthesized by the reaction between 3-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and substituted o-aminophenols in the presence of iodobenzene diacetate. The resulting benzoxazoles 3 were treated with methyl iodide to give the corresponding pyridinium salts 4 which underwent the hydride reduction with sodium borohydride or sodium cyanoborohydride to produce 2-(1-methyl-1,2,5,6-tetrahy-dropyridin-3-yl)benzoxazole borane complex derivatives.  相似文献

The reaction of 3-(4-bromoacetylphenyl)-1-methylquinolin-2(1Н)-one with pyridine and 4-methylpyridine has afforded the corresponding pyridinium salts. Condensation of 4-methyl-1-{2-[4-(1-methyl-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroquinolin-3-yl)phenyl]-2-oxoethyl}pyridinium bromide with 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde has given a new biscyanine dye, 1-{1-[4-(1,2-dihydro-1-methyl-2-oxo-3-quinolinyl)benzoyl]-2-[4-(dimethylamino)-phenyl]ethynyl}-4-{2-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]ethynyl}pyridinium bromide. Its electronic spectrum has been analyzed, and quantum-chemical simulation of spatial and electronic structure of its possible isomers has been performed.  相似文献

The following reactions of pyrylium salts with amines are described: (1)bis(pyrylium salts) with amines; (2) diamines with pyrylium salts; and (3) bis(pyrylium salts) with diamines. Both (1) and (2) give bis(pyridinium salts) in high yields, and (3) gives the corresponding polymers which are isolated and characterized. This procedure was applied to cationic bis(pyrylium salts) to give cationic dimers and polymers, and further to zwitterionic bis(pyrylium salts) to yield the corresponding zwitterionic dimers and polymers.  相似文献

The synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylphenylpyridinium perchlorates 3 from methyl substituted derivatives 2 by a 2,6-[C5+C] ring transformation of 2,4,6-triaryl(thio)pyrylium salts 1/4 in the presence of triethylamine/acetic acid in ethanol is reported.
