刚果红和结晶紫在锯末上的吸附性能研究   总被引:16,自引:0,他引:16  
采用静态吸附法研究了刚果红和结晶紫在锯末上的吸附特性。结果表明,锯末是具有高脱色率的廉价吸附剂,最大脱色率可达96%。在pH4~10范围内,酸度对结晶紫的吸附影响较小,随着pH值增大,脱色率从96.6%缓慢降至91.1%。pH值对刚果红吸附影响较大,pH从4增大到7,脱色率迅速从22.5%增加至96.0%,然后,随pH值升高脱色率缓慢下降至91.4%。两种染料在锯末上的吸附等温线均较好的符合Freundlich方程,吸附动力学可以用拟二级动力学模型描述。计算了相应的吸附等温线参数和吸附动力学参数。  相似文献

聚乙烯亚胺表面改性硅藻土及其对苯酚吸附特性的研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
使用紫外吸收光度法研究了硅藻土对聚乙烯亚胺(PEI)的等温吸附;采用浸渍法,用PEI对硅藻土进行了表面改性;使用4-氨基安替比林光度法研究了经PEI表面改性的硅藻土对苯酚的捕集行为.研究结果表明,凭借强烈的静电相互作用,表面带负电荷的硅藻土粉体对阳离子性大分子PEI具有很强的吸附能力,等温吸附满足Freundlich吸附方程;经PEI表面改性后,硅藻土粉体表面的电性发生了根本性改变,且等电点由pH=2.0移至pH=10.5;在中性溶液中,改性粉体通过氢键作用与静电相互作用的协同,对水溶液中的苯酚会产生很强的捕集作用,饱和吸附量可达92 mg/g;在酸性溶液中改性粉体通过氢键相互作用,对水溶液中的苯酚产生一定的吸附作用,但由于PEI分子链高度的质子化,氮原子对苯酚的氢键相互作用很弱,吸附量很低.  相似文献

This study was aimed at investigating the effectiveness of starch‐modified magnetic nanoparticles for the removal of naphthalene, which is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon present in the majority of water sediments, from water resources. Magnetic Fe0 nanoparticles have recently been considered because of their high efficiency for contaminant removal. In the present study, Fe0 nanoparticles were synthesized using sulfate method and starch was used as a stabilizer. The size of the Fe0 nanoparticles was measured as approximately 45 nm using X‐ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analyses. The removal efficiency of naphthalene from water using the nanoparticles was evaluated based on various factors including the viscosity of naphthalene dissolved in water, and operation factors such as nanoparticle dosage, contact time, initial naphthalene concentration and pH in non‐continuous reactors were optimized. The results revealed that the starch‐modified nanoparticles have high efficiency for removal of dissolved naphthalene from aqueous solution. Under the optimum conditions, more than 99% of naphthalene at a pH of 5.0 with nanoparticle dosage of 0.05 g was removed from aqueous solution in 5 min. The equilibrium adsorption data were interpreted in terms of Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models and the goodness of fit was inspected using linear regression analysis. Our results indicated that the Langmuir model with maximum adsorption capacity was best fitted, suggesting monolayer adsorption. Moreover, it was found that the adsorption process followed the pseudo‐second‐order kinetic model. In addition, a thermodynamic study indicated that the adsorption process of naphthalene from aqueous solution by the starch‐modified nanoparticles was spontaneous and exothermic.  相似文献

合成的羧基化石墨烯(G-COOH)用FT-IR进行表征,并对G-COOH用于水溶液中甲基紫、中性红、灿烂黄和茜素红4种离子型染料的吸附性能进行了研究。 考察了吸附剂用量、吸附时间、初始浓度以及溶液pH值等条件对吸附效果的影响。 同时,研究了甲基紫染料的脱附性能,结果表明,用NaOH/EtOH混合溶液洗脱甲基紫,洗脱率可达88.2%,洗脱后的G-COOH可再利用。 从热力学角度探讨得出,G-COOH对阳离子染料甲基紫和中性红的吸附行为能够较好的符合Langmuir等温吸附模型,而对阴离子染料灿烂黄和茜素红的吸附行为则能够较好的符合Freundlich等温吸附模型,计算的吸附参数表明,G-COOH对4种染料的吸附过程容易进行。 动力学研究表明,G-COOH对4种离子型染料的吸附行为均能较好的符合准二级吸附模型。 该实验研究表明,在处理染料废水时,G-COOH为相当优异的吸附剂。  相似文献

Abstract

Agro-waste materials have carboxylic and phenolic groups that play the main role in metal adsorption. The advantages of these materials include easy availability, low cost, and reasonable metal removal capacity. One of the materials (usually considered as waste) is pea waste (pods). Present work comprises adsorption of chromium from aqueous solution using powder of pods of garden peas (Pisum sativum) in batch. Important parameters like adsorbent dose, pH, contact time, and agitation speed were studied. Adsorption equilibrium was explained by Langmuir, Freundlich, and Temkin isotherms. Maximum chromium uptake (q m) was 3.56 mg/g of adsorbent. Heat of adsorption, as evaluated by Temkin isotherm was 1.96 kJ/mol. It is proposed that pea pods can be an effective and environmentally benign (green) adsorbents for removal of chromium from industrial effluents and waste waters.  相似文献

The objective of this research is to utilize a new poly[N,N-diallyl pyrrolidinium bromide-co-N,Ndimethyl acrylamide-co-acrylic acid sodium salt]superabsorbent hydrogel(SAH)for the removal of two anionic dyes,e.g.,Reactive Red 5B(RR5B)and Reactive Orange M2R(ROM2R),from water.The SAH was characterized by swelling in water,FTIR,TGA and SEM.The SAH DDA6showed good swelling property and thermal stability.We have also investigated the parameters affecting dye adsorption such as pH,adsorbent dose,adsorption rate and initial dye concentration.The experimental data were also analyzed by applying the well known Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models.  相似文献

Carbon xerogel (CX) was used for phenol adsorption from aqueous solution. CX was synthesized by sol?Cgel polycondensation of resorcinol with formaldehyde using sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) as catalyst. Then, it was dried by convective drying technique and pyrolyzed under inert atmosphere. Phenol adsorption kinetics was very fast, what was attributed to the presence of open pore structure. The kinetic studies showed that the adsorption process could be fitted to a pseudo-second-order model and the particle diffusion process is the rate-limiting step of the adsorption. The phenol removal was maximum and unaffected by pH changes when the initial pH of the phenol solution was in the range of 3?C8. The optimum adsorbent dose obtained for phenol adsorption onto CX was 0.075?g/50?cm3 solution. The Langmuir model described the adsorption process better than the Freundlich isotherm model and the monolayer adsorption capacity is 32?mg?g?1. Among the desorbing solutions used in this study, the most efficient desorbent was EtOH (100?%) which released about 87?% of phenol bound with the CX.  相似文献

The organo-attapulgite was prepared using hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (HTMAB) with equation equivalent ratio of HTMAB to CEC of attapulgite added and then used as adsorbent for the removal of Congo red (CR) anionic dye from aqueous solution. Adsorbent characterizations were investigated using infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The effects of contact time, temperature, pH and initial dye concentration on organo-attapulgite adsorption for CR were investigated. The results show that the amount adsorbed of CR on the organo-attapulgite increase with increasing dye concentration, temperature, and by decreasing pH. The adsorption kinetics was studied with the pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order and intraparticle diffusion models, and the rate constants were evaluated. It was found that the adsorption mechanisms in the dye/organo-attapulgite system follow pseudo-second-order kinetics with a significant contribution of film diffusion. Equilibrium data fitted perfectly with Langmuir isotherm model compared to Freundlich isotherm model, and the maximum adsorption capacity was 189.39 mg g−1 for the adsorbent. Kinetic and desorption studies both suggest that chemisorption should be the major mode of CR removal by the organo-attapulgite. The results indicate that HTMAB-modified attapulgite could be employed as low-cost material for the removal of Congo red anionic dye from wastewater.  相似文献

Functionalization of cellulosic okra fibers was carried out by graft copolymerization of acrylamide in the presence of ascorbic acid and hydrogen peroxide as redox initiator in aqueous medium. Different reaction parameters such as time, temperature, initiator concentration, and monomer concentration were optimized to obtain the maximum graft yield. The graft copolymerized fibers were characterized by FT-IR, TGA, and X-ray diffraction techniques. Further, chemically modified fibers were used for removal of Zn2+ and Cd2+ toxic metal ions from contaminated water. The effect of pH, contact time, and metal ion concentration was studied in batch mode experiments. The kinetics of adsorption were studied using pseudo-first and pseudo-second-order kinetic models. The adsorption isotherm was studied using Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The Langmuir model was found to fit the equilibrium data well.  相似文献

In this study, a novel hydrogel composite, poly[2-(dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate]/pumice (PDMAEMA/Pmc) was designed and its sorption behavior for humic acid (HA) was produced by using batch adsorption techniques. FTIR results showed that pumice was well incorporated with the PDMAEMA matrix. A scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used in order to determine the morphology of composite hydrogel. In the batch experiments, the adsorption capacity was evaluated depending on different variables such as ionic strength; initial HA concentration; pH and adsorbent dosage. The adsorption capacity was found to be 86.27 mg/g under the optimized conditions. The results revealed that HA adsorption onto PDMAEMA/Pmc was well expressed by the Freundlich isotherm model and the adsorption process was followed by the pseudo second order kinetic model. The reusability tests also indicated that novel PDMAEMA/Pmc adsorbent was an efficient and cost-effective adsorbent for removal of HA.  相似文献

The capability of the ammonium salt of the cross-linked maleic acid–allylpropionate–styrene terpolymer for the adsorption of Cu2+ from aqueous solutions was examined. Effect of the various experimental parameters on removal degree of the copper ions was investigated. Equilibrium data were fitted to the Langmuir, Freundlich, Dubinin–Radushkevich, and Temkin isotherm models. Kinetics studies suggested that the adsorption allowed pseudo-second-order reaction. The negative values of Δ and the positive value of Δ indicate that the sorption process is spontaneous and endothermic in nature. The positive value of ΔS° shows the increasing randomness during adsorption process. Considering the FTIR and UV–vis spectra of the sorbent after sorption, it is concluded that Cu2+ enters a complex with carboxylate and ester groups of the sorbent.  相似文献

Na-A zeolite was successfully synthesized via the alkaline fusion method with oil shale ash as the raw material. The adsorption capacity of it was tested by removing Cu2+, Ni2+, Pb2+ and Cd2+ from aqueous solutions. The results reveal the maximum adsorption capacity of adsorbent for Pb2+, Cu2+, Cd2+ and Ni2+ were 224.72, 156.74, 118.34 and 53.02 mg/g, respectively. The effects of contact time and pH value of solutions on the adsorption efficiency of the zeolite were evaluated. Besides, The equilibrium adsorption data and the batch kinetic data were correlated with Langmuir and Freundlich models and the pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order models separately. The results show that the Langmuir isotherm and the pseudo-second-order equation were more suitable for the adsorption of Na-A zeolite for the metal ions. In addition, Thermodynamic parameters of the adsorption(the Gibbs free energy, entropy, and enthalpy) were also evaluated and discussed. The results demonstrate that the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic under natural conditions and the synthesized zeolite was an effective adsorbent for the removal of metal ions from aqueous solution.  相似文献

The adsorption of lead onto agricultural soil in the presence of organic compounds such as, humic acid, gallic acid or phenol was studied. The study included the factors affecting the adsorption process such as contact time, pH, adsorbent dose, metal concentration and organic ligands concentration. The experimental isotherm data were found to fit both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. The results show that the pseudo second-order equation provides the best correlation for the adsorption process. The results indicate that both humic acid and phenol increase the adsorption of lead while gallic acid slightly decreases the adsorption.  相似文献

The adsorption of two disperse dyes, disperse blue 56 and disperse red from aqueous solution onto sawdust (SD) and benzyldimethyltetradecyl ammonium (BDTDA) treated sawdust has been studied. The effect of initial concentration of dyes, pH, and contact time has been studied. The pH had a considerable influence on adsorption and optimum pH for adsorption of disperse dyes is found to be in the range of 2–3. The experimental data were analyzed using Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm equations. The experimental data were fitted well to pseudo first order kinetic model with R2>0.99. The results indicate that sawdust modified with surfactant can be employed as a low cost alternative to commercial activated carbon for the removal of disperse dyes.  相似文献

The adsorption of phenol and nitrophenols on hypercrosslinked polymeric adsorbent wasstudied as a function of the solution concentration and temperature. Adsorption isotherms of phenoland nitrophenols on hypercrosslinked resin were determined. These isotherms were modeledaccording to the Freundlich adsorption isotherm. The isotherms for phenol and nitrophenols onhypercrosslinked resin were assigned as L curves. Thermodynamic parameters were calculated for allphenol and nitrophenols. The effects of pH, initial concentration and temperature on the adsorption of phenol by chitosan were investigated in this paper. The isothermal data was applied to Langmuir linear and the Freundlich linear isotherm equation, and the thermodynamic parameters (AH, AG, AS) were calculated according to the values of binding Langmuir constant, KL. Results indicated that the adsorption between chitosan and phenol was significantly physical in nature, the negative ΔH constant at lower temperature confirmed that more phenol was adsorbed by chitosan at lower temperature. The kinetics of the sorption process of phenol on chitosan was investigated using the pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order kinetics, and results showed that the second order equation model provided the best correlation with the experimental results.  相似文献

本文利用制得的改性小麦秸秆纤维素球对苯酚吸附性能进行了研究。实验结果表明:改性小麦秸秆纤维素球对苯酚的吸附30min内基本达到平衡,吸附剂对苯酚吸附量随起始质量浓度的增加而增加,且呈线性关系;在T=298K、pH=5.0时,吸附剂对苯酚的吸附量达到最大。在一定浓度、温度条件下,改性小麦秸秆纤维素球吸附苯酚的过程符合Freundlich吸附模型。吸附再生实验表明,改性小麦秸秆纤维素球对苯酚有较好的吸附再生能力。并对印染废水中的苯酚进行了实际的吸附测定。  相似文献

The biomass pummelo peel was chosen as a biosorbent for removal of uranium(VI) from aqueous solution. The feasibility of adsorption of U(VI) by Pummelo peel was studied with batch adsorption experiments. The effects of contact time, biosorbent dosage and pH on adsorption capacity were investigated in detail. The pummelo peel exhibited the highest U(VI) sorption capacity 270.71?mg/g at an initial pH of 5.5, concentration of 50???g/mL, temperature 303?K and contacting time 7?h. The adsorption process of U(VI) was found to follow the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation. The adsorption isotherm study indicated that it followed both the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and the Freundlich adsorption isotherm. The thermodynamic parameters values calculated clearly indicated that the adsorption process was feasible, spontaneous and endothermic in nature. These properties show that the pummelo peel has potential application in the removal of the uranium(VI) from the radioactive waste water.  相似文献

The present study investigates biosorption diffusion mechanism for the removal of toxic hexavalent chromium from aqueous solution using powdered cotton stalk an agricultural waste biomass. The effects of pH, temperature, adsorption isotherms, adsorption kinetics, and thermodynamic on chromium biosorption were investigated. The results showed that a maximum removal efficiency of 95% was achieved at pH 2. The pH at zero point charge (pHzpc) on biosorbent surface was 4.3. The adsorption kinetics showed that the pseudo-second order rate expression fitted well the biosrption process. The equilibrium isotherm was measured experimentally and results were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich, and Temkin isotherms using linearized correlation coefficients. The significant parameters for isotherms were determined. The Langmuir adsorption isotherm relative to two other isotherms was found to fit the equilibrium data best for chromium adsorption. Thermodynamic studies reveal that the biosorption of Cr(VI) on cotton stalk was endothermic, spontaneous and occurs with increase in disorder at solid-liquid interface. Adsorption diffusion kinetic was further analyzed and showed that biosorption mechanism was totally controlled by intraparticle diffusion mechanism.  相似文献
