We study phase properties of generalized coherent states obtained from usual Fock coherent states by adapting classical methods of statistical mechanics, in particular, the well-known procedure of thermodynamical limit. Moreover, we show that there exists a close connection between these states and the states describing boson systems with condensation properties. 相似文献

In bosonic fields, Gaussian states, which consist of a rather wide family of states including coherent states, squeezed states, thermal states, etc., have many classical-like features, and are usually defined from the mathematical perspective in terms of characteristic functions. It is well known that some special Gaussian states, such as coherent states, are minimum uncertainty states for the conventional Heisenberg uncertainty relation involving canonical pair of position and momentum observables. A natural question arises as whether all Gaussian states can be characterized as minimum uncertainty states. In this work, we show that indeed Gaussian states coincide with minimum uncertainty states for an information-theoretic refinement of the conventional uncertainty relation established in Luo (2005) [40]. This characterization puts Gaussian states on a novel basis of physical significance. 相似文献

The pentaquark state recently discovered has been discussed based on various quark model calculations. Odd parity for the state cannot be ruled out theoretically because the contributions related to nontrivial color structures have not been studied completely. Other multiquark states, especially dibaryons, have been discussed also. A strangeness ?3 NΩ dibaryon has been shown to have a width as small as 12—22 keV and should be detectable in Ω-high-productivity reactions such as at RHIC, COMPAS, and the planned JHF and FAIR projects. 相似文献

SCF-CI calculations are reported for the Rydberg states converging to the ground state of the SiF+ ion. The adjustment between the observed and calculated values for the energy of the first Rydberg B2Σ+ state has allowed the characterization of 15 observed 2Σ+ and 2Π Rydberg states. A value of 58960 cm?1 has been obtained for the ionization potential of SiF. The A2Σ+ state appears to be a valence state with some Rydberg character. 相似文献

We have performed the measurement of the site-specific phonon densities of states (PDOS) discerned using electronic states. As far as we know, no general method could give the site-specific PDOS, although oscillating properties of the individual atoms in nonequivalent positions are not necessarily equivalent. However, the combination of the energy and time domain measurements of the nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation allows the identification of site-specific PDOS. We measured the site-specific PDOS of iron atoms in magnetite, which is a mixed valent compound, and the difference between partial phonon densities of the iron sites was clearly observed. 相似文献

We characterize equilibrium states of quantum systems by a condition of passivity suggested by the second principle of thermodynamics. Ground states and -KMS states for all inverse temperatures 0 are completely passive. We prove that these states are the only completely passive ones. Hartree-Fock and multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock calculations are reported on some low-lying Rydberg states of CF and the ground state of CF+. For the CF+ ground state, 1Σ+, the calculations give a bond length of 1.55 Å, a fundamental frequency of 1821 cm?1, and a dissociation energy of 6.9 eV. Many interactions between the valence and Rydberg state manifolds are revealed. Also a strong mixing of the 3dσ and 4sσ components due to an accidental degeneracy is described. 相似文献

This paper presents a realistic scheme for the teleportation of
coherent states in which a two-mode squeezed vacuum state serves as
the quantum channel and the position-sum and momentum-difference of
two local modes serve as the measuring observables. The average
fidelity of the teleportation of coherent states is derived for
finite squeezing parameters and it turns out that fidelity greater
than 1/2 cannot be achieved by using a classical channel alone and
the probability distribution of the measurement result is a Gaussian
distribution around the unknown parameter of the input coherent

The concept of mode locking in laser is applied to a two-photon state with frequency entanglement. Cavity enhanced parametric down conversion is found to produce exactly such a state. The mode-locked two-photon state exhibits a comblike correlation function. An unbalanced Hong-Ou-Mandel type interferometer is used to measure the correlation function. In the tight binding approximation, it has been shown that a peculiar type of electronic states localized near the topology
change point exists in branching molecules and quantum conductors. Bound states of this type exist both below and above the
allowed band, i.e., for both electrons and holes; this property fundamentally differentiates these states from the bound states
formed in the minimum of the potential energy. The damping decrement of the wavefunction is independent of the band parameters
and is an invariant determined by the characteristic of topology. The tunnel interaction between the topological bound states
