For the preparation of core‐shell nanoparticles containing functional nanomaterials, a photo‐cross‐linkable amphiphilic ABC triblock copolymer, poly(ethylene glycol)‐b‐poly(2‐cinnamoyloxyethyl methacrylate)‐b‐poly(methyl methacrylate) (PEG‐PCEMA‐PMMA), was synthesized. This triblock copolymer was then used to encapsulate Au nanoparticles or pyrene. The triblock copolymer of PEG‐b‐poly(2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate)‐b‐PMMA (PEG‐PHEMA‐PMMA) (Mn = 15,800 g/mol, Mw/Mn = 1.58) was first synthesized by activators generated by electron transfer atom transfer radical polymerization. Its middle block was then functionalized with cinnamoyl chloride. The degrees of polymerization of the PEG, PHEMA, and PMMA blocks were 45, 13, and 98, respectively. PMMA‐tethered Au nanoparticles (with an average diameter of 3.0 nm) or pyrene was successfully encapsulated within the PEG‐PCEMA‐PMMA micelles. The intermediary layers of the micelles were then cross‐linked by UV irradiation. The spherical structures of the PEG‐PCEMA‐PMMA micelles containing Au nanoparticles or pyrene were not changed by the photo‐cross‐linking process and they showed excellent colloidal stability. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We report the synthesis, micellar structures, and multifunctional sensory properties of new conjugated rod‐coil block copolymers, poly(3‐hexylthiophene)‐block‐poly(2‐(di methylamino)ethylmethacrylate)(P3HT‐b‐PDMAEMA). The new copolymers, synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization of P3HT macroinitiator, consisted PDMAEMA coil lengths of 43, 65, and 124 repeating units. All the P3HT‐b‐PDMAEMA copolymers exhibit a similar low critical solution temperature in water around 33 °C. The micellar structures of the synthesized polymers were characterized by AFM, TEM, and dynamic light scattering, by varying temperature, pH, and water/THF composition. The micelles of P3HT20b‐PDMAEMA43 in water had a reversible size change from 75 ± 5 nm to 132 ± 5 nm on heating from 25 to 55 °C and reduced to the original size during cooling. In addition, the micellar size also showed a significant pH dependence, changing from 67 ± 8 nm (pH = 12) to 222 ± 6 nm (pH = 4), depending on the protonation of the PDMAEMA blocks and their electrostatic repulsion. The micellar structure of three P3HT‐b‐PDMAEMA copolymers changed from spheres, to vesicles, and finally to larger sphere micelles as the solvent composition varied from 0 to 100 wt % water in the mixed solvent. The different micellar structures of P3HT20b‐PDMAEMA43 solution led to a red‐shift on the absorption or photoluminescence spectra and exhibited the emission colors of yellow, orange, red, and dark red with increasing the water content. This study suggested that new copolymers had potential applications as multifunctional sensory materials toward temperature, pH, and solvent. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. With the aim of accessing colloidally stable, fiberlike, π‐conjugated nanostructures of controlled length, we have studied the solution self‐assembly of two asymmetric crystalline–coil, regioregular poly(3‐hexylthiophene)‐b‐poly(2‐vinylpyridine) (P3HT‐b‐P2VP) diblock copolymers, P3HT23b‐P2VP115 (block ratio=1:5) and P3HT44b‐P2VP115 (block ratio=ca. 1:3). The self‐assembly studies were performed under a variety of solvent conditions that were selective for the P2VP block. The block copolymers were prepared by using Cu‐catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition reactions of azide‐terminated P2VP and alkyne end‐functionalized P3HT homopolymers. When the block copolymers were self‐assembled in a solution of a 50 % (v/v) mixture of THF (a good solvent for both blocks) and an alcohol (a selective solvent for the P2VP block) by means of the slow evaporation of the common solvent; fiberlike micelles with a P3HT core and a P2VP corona were observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The average lengths of the micelles were found to increase as the length of the hydrocarbon chain increased in the P2VP‐selective alcoholic solvent (MeOH<iPrOH<nBuOH). Very long (>3 μm) fiberlike micelles were prepared by the dialysis of solutions of the block copolymers in THF against iPrOH. Furthermore the widths of the fibers were dependent on the degree of polymerization of the chain‐extended P3HT blocks. The crystallinity and π‐conjugated nature of the P3HT core in the fiberlike micelles was confirmed by a combination of UV/Vis spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL) measurements, and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering (WAXS). Intense sonication (iPrOH, 1 h, 0 °C) of the fiberlike micelles formed by P3HT23b‐P2VP115 resulted in small (ca. 25 nm long) stublike fragments that were subsequently used as initiators in seeded growth experiments. Addition of P3HT23b‐P2VP115 unimers to the seeds allowed the preparation of fiberlike micelles with narrow length distributions (Lw/Ln <1.11) and lengths from about 100‐300 nm, that were dependent on the unimer‐to‐seed micelle ratio.  相似文献

Mixed micelles of polystyrene‐b‐poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PS‐b‐PNIPAM) and two polystyrene‐b‐poly(ethylene oxide) diblock copolymers (PS‐b‐PEO) with different chain lengths of polystyrene in aqueous solution were prepared by adding the tetrahydrofuran solutions dropwise into an excess of water. The formation and stabilization of the resultant mixed micelles were characterized by using a combination of static and dynamic light scattering. Increasing the initial concentration of PS‐b‐PEO in THF led to a decrease in the size and the weight average molar mass (〈Mw〉) of the mixed micelles when the initial concentration of PS‐b‐ PNIPAM was kept as 1 × 10?3 g/mL. The PS‐b‐PEO with shorter PS block has a more pronounced effect on the change of the size and 〈Mw〉 than that with longer PS block. The number of PS‐b‐PNIPAM in each mixed micelle decreased with the addition of PS‐b‐PEO. The average hydrodynamic radius 〈Rh〉 and average radius of gyration 〈Rg〉 of pure PS‐b‐PNIPAM and mixed micelles gradually decreased with the increase in the temperature. Both the pure micelles and mixed micelles were stable in the temperature range of 18 °C–39 °C. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part B: Polym Phys 48: 1168–1174, 2010  相似文献

Polystyrene-block-poly(2-cinnamoylethyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PCEMA) and poly(acrylic acid)-block-poly(2-cinnamoylethyl methacrylate) (PAA-b-PCEMA) were synthesized. These polymers formed micelles with PCEMA as the core in solvents poor for the PCEMA block but good for the other blocks. When the PS block was much longer than the PCEMA block, star micelles were prepared. The PCEMA cores of these micelles were then photo-crosslinked to yield PS star polymers. Nanospheres of PCEMA were obtained by photolyzing crew-cut micelles of PAA-b-PCEMA, in which the water-soluble PAA block was much shorter than the water-insoluble PCEMA block. PS-b-PCEMA self-assembled at silica and their THF/cyclopentane micellar solution interfaces to form diblock monolayers called polymer brushes, in which the insoluble PCEMA block spread like a melt on the silica surface and the chains of the soluble PS block stretched into the solution phase like bristles of a brush. By tuning the relative composition, PCEMA in bulk formed cylindrical micro-domains dispersed in the continuous PS matrix. Irradiation of the PS-b-PCEMA brushes enabled our preparation of crosslinked PS-b-PCEMA monolayers. Nanofibers were prepared by dissolving in THF the irradiated PS-b-PCEMA films with crosslinked cylindrical PCEMA micro-domains.  相似文献

The well‐defined, thermosensitive and biodegradable graft copolymers, poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide)‐b‐[2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate‐poly(ε‐caprolactone)]n (PNIPAAm‐b‐(HEMA‐PCL)n) (n = 3 or 9), were synthesized by combining reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization and macromonomer method. The copolymers were able to self‐assemble into micelles in water with low critical micellar concentration and demonstrated temperature sensitivity with a lower critical solution temperature at around 36 °C. Transmission electron microscopy shows that the micelles exhibit a nanosized spherical morphology within a size range of 30–100 nm. The PNIPAAm‐b‐(HEMA‐PCL)3 copolymer exhibited biodegradation and low cytotoxicity. The paclitaxel‐loaded PNIPAAm‐b‐(HEMA‐PCL)3 micelles displayed thermosensitive controlled release behavior, which indicates potential as drug carriers. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A straightforward strategy is proposed for the synthesis of novel, amphiphilic block–graft MPEG‐b‐(PαN3CL‐g‐alkyne) degradable copolymers. First, the ring‐opening polymerization of α‐chloro‐ε‐caprolactone (αClCL) was initiated by hydroxy‐terminated macroinitiator monomethoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (MPEG) with SnOct2 as the catalyst. In a second step, pendent chlorides were converted into azides by the reaction with sodium azide. Finally, various kinds of terminal alkynes were reacted with pendent azides by copper‐catalyzed Huisgen's 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition, and thus a “click” reaction. These copolymers were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), 1H NMR, IR, and gel permeation chromatography. By fixing the length of the MPEG block and increasing the length of PαClCL (or PαN3CL) block, an increase tendency in Tgs was observed. However, the copolymers of MPEG‐b‐PαClCL and MPEG‐b‐PαN3CL were semicrystalline when the Mn of MPEG was above 2000 g mol?1. The block–graft copolymers formed micelles in the aqueous phase with critical micelle concentrations (CMCs) in the range of 1.4–12.0 mg L?1 depending on the composition of polymers. The lengths of hydrophilic segment influence the shape of the micelle. The mean hydrodynamic diameters of the micelles from dynamic light scattering were in the range of 90–160 nm. In vitro hydrolytic degradation of block–graft copolymers is faster than the corresponding block copolymers. The drug entrapment efficiency and the drug loading content of micelles depending on the composition of block–graft polymers were described. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. RAFT homopolymerization of 2‐(diisopropylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DPA) and 2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DEA) and their random copolymerization were investigated. The random copolymers of DPA‐ran‐DEA were synthesized and used as macro‐CTA to prepare poly(DPA‐ran‐DEA)‐b‐poly(N‐(2‐hydroxypropyl) methacrylamide) amphiphilic block copolymers. The 1H NMR and GPC measurements confirmed the successful synthesis of these copolymers. The potentiometric titration results showed that the pKb values of these copolymers were in the range of 6.7 ~ 7.7 and linearly varied with the DPA/DEA composition, regardless of the block length of HPMA. The pH‐induced micellization in PBS solution was verified by fluorescence spectroscopy. The dynamic light scattering evaluation showed that the hydrodynamic diameters of these micelles are between 37 ~ 43 nm © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Polystyrene‐block‐poly(2‐vinylpyridine) (PS‐b‐P2VP) diblock copolymer was functionalized with luminescent chlorotricarbonyl rhenium (I) phenanthroline complex in the presence of silver perchlorate. The copolymer‐metal complex showed high sensitivity to the solvent system. Different morphologies and dimensions of the rhenium complex within nanosized micelles were controlled by changing the solvent systems. Core‐embedded rhenium complex within micelles appear by adding methanol, a poor solvent for the copolymer‐metal complex, to the solution of common solvent tetrahydrofuran (THF); the number of the core‐embedded rhenium complex and the scale of the micelles are strongly related to the addition of methanol. Moreover, a novel morphology of corona‐embedded rhenium complex micelles was prepared by dropping the original THF solution of copolymer‐metal complex into water at a low pH value. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of amphiphilic graft copolymers P(HFMA)‐g‐P(SPEG) comprising poly(hexafluorobutyl methacrylate) (PHFMA) backbones and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) side chains were synthesized by copolymerization of HFMA and SPEG macromonomer with the p‐vinylbenzyl end group. The SPEG macromonomer was synthesized by reacting Methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (MPEG) with p‐chloromethylstyrene in THF in the presence of NaH. The macromonomer and amphiphilic graft copolymer were characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR, 19F NMR, and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of the amphiphilic graft copolymer was measured by surface tension technique. The results showed that the CMC decreased with increasing HFMA contents in the graft copolymers. The interaction between P(HFMA)‐g‐P(SPEG) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by fluorescence spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS). The fluorescence spectrum showed that the fluorescence intensity of BSA increased with increasing content of HFMA in P(HFMA)‐g‐P(SPEG) and concentration of P(HFMA)‐g‐P(SPEG) in the P(HFMA)‐g‐P(SPEG)/BSA solution. TEM micrographs showed that P(HFMA)‐g‐P(SPEG) mainly formed core‐shell structure micelles. When BSA was added, the micelles changed from a core‐shell structure into a worm‐like, vesicle‐like and hollow‐like structure with different initial concentrations of the copolymer. The size distribution of the micelles increased proving that the copolymer micelles encapsulated the bovine serum albumin. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Fluorescent polymersomes with both aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) and CO2‐responsive properties were developed from amphiphilic block copolymer PEG‐b‐P(DEAEMA‐co‐TPEMA) in which the hydrophobic block was a copolymer made of tetraphenylethene functionalized methacrylate (TPEMA) and 2‐(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DEAEMA) with unspecified sequence arrangement. Four block copolymers with different DEAEMA/TPEMA and hydrophilic/hydrophobic ratios were synthesized, and bright AIE polymersomes were prepared by nanoprecipitation in THF/water and dioxane/water systems. Polymersomes of PEG45b‐P(DEAEMA36co‐TPEMA6) were chosen to study the CO2‐responsive property. Upon CO2 bubbling vesicles transformed to small spherical micelles, and upon Ar bubbling micelles returned to vesicles with the presence of a few intermediate morphologies. These polymersomes might have promising applications as sensors, nanoreactors, or controlled release systems.  相似文献

Amphiphilic diblock copolymers with various block compositions were synthesized on poly(2‐ethyl‐2‐oxazoline) (PEtOz) as a hydrophilic block and poly(4‐methyl‐ε‐caprolactone) (PMCL) or poly(4‐phenyl‐ε‐caprolactone) (PBCL) as a hydrophobic block. These PEtOz‐b‐PMCL and PEtOz‐b‐PBCL copolymers consisting of soft domains of amorphous PEtOz and PM(B)CL had no melting endothermal peaks but displayed Tg. The lower critical solution temperature (LCST) values for the PEtOz‐b‐PMCL, and the PEtOz‐b‐PBCL aqueous solution were observed to shift to lower temperature than PEtOz homopolymers. Their aqueous solutions were characterized using fluorescence techniques and dynamic light scattering (DLS). The block copolymers formed micelles with critical micelle concentrations (CMCs) in the range 0.6–11.1 mg L?1 in an aqueous phase. As the length of the hydrophobic PMCL or PBCL blocks elongated, lower CMC values were generated. The mean diameters of the micelles were between 127 and 318 nm, with PDI in the range of 0.06–0.21, suggesting nearly monodisperse size distributions. The drug entrapment efficiency and drug‐loading content of micelles depend on block polymer compositions. In vitro cell viability assay showed that PEtOz‐b‐PMCL has low cytotoxicity. Doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX)‐loaded micelles facilitated human cervical cancer (HeLa) cell uptake of DOX; uptake was completed within 2 h, and DOX was able to reach intracellular compartments and enter the nuclei by endocytosis. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Three new phenyl‐substituted tris(8‐hydroxyquinoline)aluminum (AlQ3) derivatives have been synthesized: tris(5‐phenyl‐8‐quinolinolate‐N1,O8)aluminum, tris(5,7‐diphenyl‐8‐quinolinolate‐N1,O8)aluminum, and tris[5,7‐bis(p‐fluorophenyl)‐8‐quinolinolate‐N1,O8]aluminum. These AlQ3 derivatives are easily soluble in common organic solvents and form solid‐phase solutions in a poly(aryl ether ketone) host polymer (A435). These interesting properties allow the use of soluble AlQ3 derivatives in double spin‐coated organic light‐emitting devices of the type ITO/NPB‐QP/A435 + 50 wt % soluble AlQ3 derivative/Mg, where NPB‐QP is a hole‐transporting polymer insoluble in toluene, the solvent for A435. Typical double spin‐coated organic layer devices are characterized by an emission at 530–539 nm, a threshold voltage of 6–9 V, and a maximum luminance of 1800–4000 cd/m2 at 21–25 V. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Spontaneous stereocomplex aggregation of diblock poly(styrene)‐b‐poly(L ‐lactide) PS‐b‐PLLA/poly(D ‐lactide) PDLA pairs has been investigated under ambient temperature in tetrahydrofuran solution. First, diblock PS260b‐PLLA165 and PS260b‐PDLA162 bearing similar lengths of respective PLLA and PDLA blocks were synthesized through controlled atom‐transfer radical polymerization of styrene, and a subsequent living ring‐opening polymerization of optically pure lactides, and their structures were further characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and gel‐permeation chromatography (GPC). Subsequently, new enantiomeric poly(D ‐lactide) stabilized core‐shell fluorescent CdSe quantum dots (CdSe/PDLA QD) were designed and prepared as sensitive fluorescence labels to shed new lights on the spontaneous stereocomplex aggregation in THF, which was mediated by stereocomplexation of the PLLA and PDLA chains. Upon simply mixing two individual THF solution of diblock PS260b‐PLLA165 and HO‐PDLA30‐SH, spontaneous stereocomplex aggregation was studied, and the aggregated uniform spherical particles were observed by scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) to exhibit average particle diameters of 2.0 μm. Finally, utilizing the prepared CdSe/PDLA QDs as new fluorescent labels, morphologies of the spontaneous aggregates by new diblock PS260b‐PLLA165/HO‐PDLA30‐SH pair were for the first time directly visualized by a confocal laser scanning fluorescence microscopy (CLSFM). These results might suggest alternative ways to simply prepare functional fluorescent particles with tunable diameter sizes and would be helpful to understand the mechanism of stereocomplex particle aggregation. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Polymer complexes were prepared from high molecular weight poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) and poly(styrene)‐block‐poly(4‐vinyl pyridine) (PS‐b‐P4VP) in dimethyl formamide (DMF). The hydrogen bonding interactions, phase behavior, and morphology of the complexes were investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic light scattering (DLS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In this A‐b‐B/C type block copolymer/homopolymer system, P4VP block of the block copolymer has strong intermolecular interaction with PAA which led to the formation of nanostructured micelles at various PAA concentrations. The pure PS‐b‐P4VP block copolymer showed a cylindrical rodlike morphology. Spherical micelles were observed in the complexes and the size of the micelles increased with increasing PAA concentration. The micelles are composed of hydrogen‐bonded PAA/P4VP core and non‐bonded PS corona. Finally, a model was proposed to explain the microphase morphology of complex based on the experimental results obtained. The selective swelling of the PS‐b‐P4VP block copolymer by PAA resulted in the formation of different micelles. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cationic polymerization of tetrahydrofuran (THF) and epichlorohydrin (ECH) was performed with peroxy initiators synthesized from bis (4,4′‐bromomethyl benzoyl peroxide (BBP) or bromomethyl benzoyl t‐butyl peroxy ester (t‐BuBP) and AgSbF6 or ZnCl2 system at 0 °C to obtain the poly(THF‐b‐ECH) macromonomeric peroxy initiators. Kinetic studies were accomplished for poly(THF‐b‐ECH) initiators. Poly(THF‐b‐ECH‐b‐MMA) and poly(THF‐b‐ECH‐b‐S) block copolymers were synthesized by bulk polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene (S) with poly(THF‐b‐ECH) initiators. The quantum chemical calculations for the block copolymers, the initiating systems of the cationic polymerization of THF and ECH were achieved using HYPERCHEM 7.5 program. The optimized geometries of the polymers were investigated with the quantum chemical calculations. Poly(THF‐b‐ECH) initiators having peroxygen groups were used for graft copolymerization of polybutadien (PBd) to obtain poly(THF‐b‐ECH‐g‐PBd) crosslinked graft copolymers. The graft copolymers were investigated by sol‐gel analysis. Swelling ratio values of the graft copolymers in CHCl3 were calculated. The characterizations of the polymers were achieved by FTIR, 1H NMR, GPC, SEM, TEM, and DSC techniques. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 48: 2896–2909, 2010  相似文献

Star‐shaped amphiphilic poly(ε‐caprolactone)‐block‐poly(oligo(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate) with porphyrin core (SPPCL‐b‐POEGMA) was synthesized by combination of ring‐opening polymerization (ROP) and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Star‐shaped PCL with porphyrin core (SPPCL) was prepared by bulk polymerization of ε‐caprolactone (CL) with tetrahydroxyethyl‐terminated porphyrin initiator and tin 2‐ethylexanote (Sn(Oct)2) catalyst. SPPCL was converted into SPPCLBr macroinitiator with 2‐bromoisobutyryl bromide. Star‐shaped SPPCL‐b‐POEGMA was obtained via ATRP of oligo(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate (OEGMA). SPPCL‐b‐POEGMA can easily self‐assemble into micelles in aqueous solution via dialysis method. The formation of micellar aggregates were confirmed by critical micelle formation concentration, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscopy. The micelles also exhibit property of temperature‐induced drug release and the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) was 60.6 °C. Furthermore, SPPCL‐b‐POEGMA micelles can reversibly swell and shrink in response to external temperature. In addition, SPPCL‐b‐POEGMA can present obvious fluorescence. Finally, the controlled drug release of copolymer micelles can be achieved by the change of temperatures. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem, 2011  相似文献

The anionic polymerization of butadiene initiated with 1,4‐dilithio‐1,1,4,4‐tetraphenylbutane (LiTPB) in diethyl ether (DEE) gives polybutadiene (PBD) with high 1,2 content (>70%), narrow polydispersities (1.04 < Mw/Mn < 1.20), and predicted molecular weights. In THF, this polymerization does not work very well. After removal of DEE and addition of THF, the PBD dianion is end capped quantitatively by addition of 1,1‐diphenylethylene (DPE) to give the diphenylalkyl end capped PBD dianion. Subsequent addition of methyl methacrylate at low temperatures results in the formation of well‐defined PMMA‐b‐PBD‐b‐PMMA triblock copolymers. The results are accounted for by taking into account the effects of Li ion solvation on the BD initiation and end capping of the PBD anion by DPE. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of macrocyclic diazadi(and tri)thiacrown ethers containing two 5‐substituent‐8‐hydroxyquinoline side arms have been synthesized from the corresponding macrocyclic diazadi(and tri)thiacrown ethers. The crown ethers were obtained by reduction of the proper macrocyclic di(and tri)thiadiamides by borane‐tetrahydrofuran or by sodium borohydride‐boron trifluoride ethyl etherate‐tetrahydrofuran. The yields for the reduction of diamides by sodium borohydride‐boron trifluoride ethyl etherate‐tetrahydrofuran were higher than those by borane‐tetrahydrofuran. The following four methods were used to prepare macrocycles bearing two 8‐hydroxyquinoline side arms: (1) Mannich reaction with 8‐hydroxyquinoline; (2) Reductive animation with 8‐hydroxyquinoline‐2‐carboxaldehyde using sodium triacetoxyborohydride as the reducing agent; (3) Cyclization of N,N'‐bis(8‐hydroxyquinolin‐2‐ylmethyl)‐1,2‐bis(2‐aminoethoxy)ethane (38) with bis(α‐chloroamide) 5 ; and ( 4 ) A step‐by‐step process wherein macrocyclic trithiadiamide 11 was reduced by lithium aluminum hydride‐tetrahydrofuran to the cyclic monoamide 36 , which smoothly reacted with 5‐chloro‐8‐hydroxyquinoline to produce monosubstituted‐macrocyclic monoamide 39 .  相似文献
