A resonance structure of the charge-exchange strength function S(E) and its effect on the neutrino-capture cross sections for the isotopes 71Ga, 98Mo, and 127I are studied within the self-consistent theory of finite Fermi systems. The calculation of the strength function S(E) takes into account Gamow–Teller, analog, and so-called lower lying pygmy resonances. The neutrino-capture cross sections σ(E) for the above three isotopes are calculated with allowance for the resonance structure of the strength function S(E), and the effect of each resonance on the energy dependence σ(E) is analyzed. It is found that all charge-exchange resonances in the strength function S(E) should be taken into account in calculating the neutrino-capture cross section σ(E) for the isotopes 71Ga, 98Mo, and 127I. The disregard of even highlying resonances leads to a substantial underestimation of the cross section σ(E), and this may affect the interpretation of respective experimental data.  相似文献

The yields of photonuclear reactions on mixtures of natural isotopes of strontium and molybdenum that result in the formation and decay of bypassed nuclei 84Sr and 92Mo are measured and compared to theoretical results obtained using the TALYS code and calculations in the combined model of photonucleon reaction (CMPR). The need is demonstrated to consider isospin splitting in cases of photoproton reactions. The yields of the 92Mo(γ,p)91mNb, 84Sr(γ,p)83Rb reactions that make the main contribution to the formation and decay of 84Sr and 92Mo in the p-process of nucleosynthesis differ from the TALYS and CMPR results by several hundred percent.  相似文献

The ground-state band in 110Mo has been observed for the first time. The band, comprising six levels, has been populated in the spontaneous fission of 248Cm and studied by means of prompt -ray spectroscopy using the EUROGAM2 array. The ratio suggests that the deformation of 110Mo is smaller than that in 108Mo but may stabilize at higher neutron number, where an oblate shape is expected. The Penning trap mass spectrometer JYFLTRAP, coupled to the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility at Jyv?skyl?, was employed to measure the atomic masses of neutron-rich 70-73Ni and 73, 75Cu isotopes with a typical accuracy less than 5keV. The mass of 73Ni was measured for the first time. Comparisons with the previous data are discussed. Two-neutron separation energies show a weak subshell closure at 68 28Ni40 . A well established proton shell gap is observed at Z = 28 .  相似文献

The nuclear spectroscopic quadrupole moments for the πh9/25/2-, 1/2-[541] and the πh11/29/2-, 9/2-[514] isomeric states in 169Ta have been measured employing the time differential perturbed angular-distribution technique following the nuclear reaction 159Tb(16O, 6nγ)169Ta at beam energy 104 MeV. The ratio of the intrinsic quadrupole moments has been derived as 1.87(13) from the measured quadrupole precession frequencies of the corresponding states. The model-independent analysis of the equilibrium deformation indicates strong prolate- and oblate-driving nature of the 1/2-[541] and 9/2-[514] orbitals in 169,171Ta isotopes, respectively.  相似文献

The isotopes 251No and 253No were produced in nuclear reactions 206Pb(48Ca,3n)251No and 207Pb (48Ca,2n)253No. Radioactive decay of these isotopes and their daughter products has been investigated by means of - and - - spectroscopy. An isomeric state 251m No, having a half-life of s and decaying by emission of particles of keV was identified. The superheavy hydrogen isotopes 4H and 5H have been investigated in the stopped pion absorption on 9Be. Three states of 4H were proposed in the reaction channel 9Be( { - }, dt)X. Four states of 5H were proposed in the reaction channels 9Be({ - }, pt)X and 9Be({ - }, dt)X. The excited states of 5H can decay into free nucleons.  相似文献

The low-lying levels in 127La have been studied through the -decay of 127Ce ( T1/2 = 29s) produced by bombarding a natMo target with a 185-MeV 35Cl beam. Reaction products were on-line mass-separated, and -ray singles and - coincidence measurements were performed. Conversion electrons were also measured and multipolarities of transitions have been derived. The half-life of the 210.9-keV level was determined to be (1.9±0.3)ns by the - delayed coincidence technique. The level scheme obtained has been compared with calculations based on the Nilsson model.  相似文献

High-resolution laser spectroscopy measurements of optical hyperfine splitting on the 151, 152, 153Eu isotopes were performed on the atomic transition 4f 76s 2 8 S 7/2 → 4f 76s6p 6 P 5/2 at λ ≈ 564.58 nm. Values of the nuclear magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments are obtained from the measured hyperfine splitting and the magnetic hyperfine anomalies in the isotope pairs 151, 152Eu and 152, 153Eu are deduced. The absolute values of the hyperfine anomaly in both cases are unusually large: 5 (1)%. The possible sources causing these anomalies are discussed.  相似文献

A brief review on the 2νββ decay of 100Mo to the 0+ excited state in 100Ru is performed. A weighted-average half-life value for the decay has been obtained, T1/2 = (6.8 ± 1.2) × 1020 yr. The corresponding average value for the nuclear matrix element was extracted, 0.095 ± 0.009.  相似文献

Excited states in 191Pt have been populated using the reaction 186W + 11B at 85MeV beam energy. Gamma-ray coincidences were measured using the EUROGAM-II spectrometer array. The level scheme has been extended considerably. Evidence for favoured structures of highly triaxial shape with -90° coexisting with oblate structures has been obtained by comparison with total Routhian surface and cranked shell model calculations. The presence of proton excitations in both positive- and negative-parity states has been confirmed.  相似文献

Variation-after-projection (VAP) calculations in conjunction with Hartree-Bogoliubov (HB) ansatz have been carried out for A=100−108 molybdenum (Mo) isotopes. In this framework, the yrast spectra with J max π ≥10+, B(E2) transition probabilities, quadrupole (β2) and hexadecapole (β4) deformation parameters, moment of inertia (I) and square of cranking frequency (ω2) for even-even Mo isotopes have been obtained. The results of the calculation give an indication that it is important to include the hexadecapole-hexadecapole component of the two-body interaction for obtaining various nuclear structure quantities in these Mo isotopes.  相似文献

Information on the sequential decay chain has been extracted through a comparison of the experimental data with the predictions of the statistical model. K + K - production in two-photon collisions has been studied using a large data sample of 67 fb-1 accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e + e - collider. We have measured the cross section for the process for center-of-mass energies between 1.4 and 2.4 GeV, and found three new resonant structures in the energy region between 1.6 and 2.4 GeV. Cross sections for e + p charged current deep inelastic scattering at a centre-of-mass energy of have been determined with an integrated luminosity of collected with the ZEUS detector at HERA. The mass of the W boson propagator is determined to be from a fit to . A superdeformed band has been observed in the N = 108 isotope 190Pb. This is the most neutron-deficient Pb isotope in which superdeformed states have been observed. Several theoretical approaches have predicted that N = 108 will mark the limit of observable superdeformation in the Pb isotopes. The band, which consists of five (possibly six) transitions, is observed to feed at least one isomeric level in its decay to the ground state. This decay pattern supports a spin assignment of 10 for the lowest observed level.  相似文献

The cross sections of partial photoneutron reactions are evaluated for the 63,65Cu and 80Se isotopes. The cross sections are free of systematic uncertainties from shortcomings of the experimental methods for neutron multiplicity sorting based on measurements of neutron energy used in experiments with quasimonoenergetic annihilation photon beams. An experimental-theoretical method is used to evaluate cross sections σeval(γ, in)= Fitheor σexp(γ, xn), where ratios Fitheor = σtheor(γ, in)/σtheor(γ, xn) = σtheor(γ, in)/σtheor[(γ, 1n) + 2(γ, 2n) + …] are calculated using a combined model of photonuclear reactions, and σexp(γ, xn) is the experimental cross section of the neutron yield reaction free from neutron multiplicity sorting problems. The cross sections are evaluated for reactions (γ, 1n) and (γ, 2n) for the 63,65Cu and 80Se isotopes, and for the total photoneutron reaction σ(γ, Sn) = σ[(γ, 1n) + (γ, 2n) + …]. It is shown that noticeable deviations of the experimental cross sections from the evaluated values result from the unreliable sorting of neutrons between the channels with multiplicities 1 and 2.  相似文献

The isotope 261Bh was produced in the reaction 209Bi(54Cr, 2n)261Bh and its \( \alpha\) decay has been remeasured. It was found that it populates by an unhindered transition of \( \approx\) 10 MeV an excited level at E * > 350 keV in the daughter nucleus 257Db . The latter decays by internal transitions either into the isomeric state or the ground state. A somewhat improved half-life value of T 1/2 = 11.8+3.9 -2.4 ms was obtained for 261Bh . The data support the previous assignment of the \( \alpha\) activities 257Db (1) and 257Db (2) to the isomer and to the ground state, respectively. No evidence for an isomeric state in 261Bh decaying by \( \alpha\) emission was found. Based on the experimental results and theoretical calculations a partial decay scheme of 261Bh including spin and parity assignments of the ground-state and excited levels in the daughter nucleus 257Db populated by the \( \alpha\) decay and succeeding internal transitions have been suggested. 261Bh represents so far the heaviest nucleus for which such an attempt has been made. No spontaneous fission (SF) events that could be attributed to 261Bh were observed, resulting in an SF branching b SF < 0.05 . The measured production cross-section is (64±15) pb at E * = 22 MeV.  相似文献

The low-energy nuclear structure and decay properties of the neutron-deficient isotopes 195At and 191Bi have been studied. 195At was produced in the reaction 142Nd(56Fe,p2n)195At and 191Bi as the daughter activity of 195At. The activities were implanted in a position-sensitive silicon detector after being separated from the primary beam by a gas-filled recoil separator. The 1/2+ intruder state was determined to be the ground state in 195At with an alpha-decay energy of E α = 6953(3) keV and a half-life T 1/2 = 328(20) ms. Another state with an alpha-decay energy E α = 7075(4) keV and a half-life T 1/2 = 147(5) ms was found to decay to a 148.7(5) keV excited state in 191Bi for which a spin and parity of 7/2- were deduced. Consequently, the same 7/2- character was assigned to the initial state at 32(7) keV in 195At on the basis of unhindered alpha-decay. The 9/2- state, being the ground state in heavier odd-mass astatine isotopes, was not observed.
