Heating of (η-C4H4BCy)Co(CO)2I (Cy is cyclohexyl) with arene ligands in the presence of AlCl3 at 80 °C followed by hydrolysis afforded the [(η-C4H4BOH)Co(arene)]+ complexes (arene = C6H6 (2a), C6H5Me (2b), and 1,3-C6H4Me2 (2c)). The starting iodide complex was synthesized by the reaction of [(η-C4H4BCy)Co(CO)2]2 with I2. The structure of [2a]BPh4 was established by X-ray diffraction. Chlorosilyl-cyclopentadienyl titanium precursors [Ti(η5-C5Me4SiMeXCl)Cl3] (X=H 2, Cl 3) were prepared by reaction of TiCl4 with the trimethylsilyl derivatives of the corresponding cyclopentadienes. Methylation of these compounds with MgClMe under appropriate conditions afforded the methyl complexes [Ti(η5-C5Me4SiMe2R)XMe2] (R=H, X=Cl 5, Me 6; R=X=Me 7). Reactions of 2 and 3 with two equivalents of LiNHtBu afforded the ansa-silyl-η-amido compounds [Ti{η5-C5Me4SiMeX(η1-NtBu)}Cl2] (X=H 8, Cl 9). Methylation of 8 gave [Ti{η5-C5Me4SiMeH(η1-NtBu)}Me2] 10. Complex 9 was also obtained by reaction of 8 with BCl3, whereas the same reaction using alternative chlorinating agents (TiCl4, HCl) resulted in deamidation to give 2, which was also converted into 3 by reaction with BCl3. All of the new compounds were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and the molecular structures of 2 and 4 were determined by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

The SO(2)-binding properties of a series of η(6),η(1)-NCN-pincer ruthenium platinum complexes (NCN = 2,6-bis[(dimethylamino)methyl]phenyl anion) have been studied by both UV-visible spectroscopy and theoretical calculations. When an electron-withdrawing [Ru(C(5)R(5))](+) fragment (R = H or Me) is η(6)-coordinated to the phenyl ring of the NCN-pincer platinum fragment (cf. [2](+) and [3](+), see Scheme 1), the characteristic orange coloration (pointing to η(1)- SO(2) binding to Pt) of a solution of the parent NCN-pincer platinum complex 1 in dichloromethane upon SO(2)-bubbling is not observed. However, when the ruthenium center is η(6)-coordinated to a phenyl substituent linked in para-position to the carbon-to-platinum bond, i.e. complex [4](+), the SO(2)-binding property of the NCN-platinum center seems to be retained, as bubbling SO(2) into a solution of the latter complex produces the characteristic orange color. We performed theoretical calculations at the MP2 level of approximation and TD-DFT studies, which enabled us to interpret the absence of color change in the case of [2](+) as an absence of coordination of SO(2) to platinum. We analyze this absence or weaker SO(2)-coordination in dichloromethane to be a consequence of the relative electron-poorness of the platinum center in the respective η(6)-ruthenium coordinated NCN-pincer platinum complexes, that leads to a lower binding energy and an elongated calculated Pt-S bond distance. We also discuss the effects of electrostatic interactions in these cationic systems, which also seems to play a destabilizing role for complex [2(SO(2))](+).  相似文献

A mixture ofendo-H andexo-H isomers (1a and1b) of the (4-C5Me5H)PtCl2 complex was prepared by the reaction of K2PtCl4 with C5Me5H in MeOH. The mixture of isomers reacts with CpTl in the presence of TiBF4 to give a novel complex, [(4-C5Me5H)Pt(5-C5H5)]+BF4 , as a mixture ofendo-H- andexo-H-isomers (2a and2b). Biphenylamide ligands were employed to prepare a series of Li and Al derivatives in which the ligand binds through N. Such species include: (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)Bu(t)NLi (), (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)Bu(t)NLi(THF)(2) (), (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)Bu(t)NLi.OEt(2) (), [(mu-(2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)N)Li](2) (), (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)NLi(THF)(2) (), (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)NLi.OEt(2) () amd (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)NAlX(2) (X = Cl (), Me (), Et ()). Structural and spectroscopic data show that these species exhibit weak arene to metal donation. This donor is hemilabile being readily displaced by other stronger donors to give such species as (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)NAlMe(2)(THF) () and (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)NAlMe(2)(CH(2)PPh(3)) (). Reactions of with B(C(6)F(5))(3) results in methyl for C(6)F(5) exchange and isolation of (2-C(6)H(4)Ph)(2)NAl(C(6)F(5))(2) (). The presence the electron withdrawing groups in further strengthens the hemilabile interaction.  相似文献

Diuranium μ-η(6),η(6)-arene complexes supported by ketimide ligands were synthesized and characterized. Disodium or dipotassium salts of the formula M(2)(μ-η(6),η(6)-arene)[U(NC(t)BuMes)(3)](2) (M = Na or K, Mes = 2,4,6-C(6)H(2)Me(3)) and monopotassium salts of the formula K(μ-η(6),η(6)-arene)[U(NC(t)BuMes)(3)](2) (arene = naphthalene, biphenyl, trans-stilbene, or p-terphenyl) were both observed. Two different salts of the monoanionic, toluene-bridged complexes are also described. Density functional theory calculations have been employed to illuminate the electronic structure of the μ-η(6),η(6)-arene diuranium complexes and to facilitate the comparison with related transition-metal systems, in particular (μ-η(6),η(6)-C(6)H(6))[VCp](2). It was found that the μ-η(6),η(6)-arene diuranium complexes were isolobal with (μ-η(6),η(6)-C(6)H(6))[VCp](2) and that the principal arene-binding interaction was a pair of δ bonds (total of 4e) involving both metals and the arene lowest unoccupied molecular orbital. Reactivity studies have been carried out with the mono- and dianionic μ-η(6),η(6)-arene diuranium complexes, revealing contrasting modes of redox chemistry as a function of the system's state of charge.  相似文献

The reactions of the Me n C6H6−n M(CO)3 (M=Cr, Mo, W;n=3, 5, 6) and C5R5M(CO)3 (M=Mn, Re; R=H, Me) complexes with propargyl alcohol in acidic media under UV irradiation were studied. Novel Me n C6H6−n M(CO)23-C3H3)BF4 (M=Mo, W;n=3, 5, 6) and C5R5Re(CO)23-C3H3)CF3SO3 complexes with the 3ē-propargyl ligand were synthesized, and their properties compared with those of similar η3-allyl derivatives. The phenanthrene complex of ruthenium(II), [Ru(η6-phenanthrene)(1,5-η5-cyclooctadienyl)]PF6 (2c), is prepared by the reaction of Ru(η4-1,5-COD)(η6-1,3,5-COT) (1) with phenanthrene and HPF6 in 65% yield. Similar treatments with di- tri-, tetra- and pentacyclic arenes give corresponding polycyclic arene complexes, [Ru(η6-polycyclic arene)(1-5-η5-cyclooctadienyl)]PF6 [polycyclic arene = naphthalene (2b), anthracene (2d), triphenylene (2e), pyrene (2f) and perylene (2g)] in 46-90% yields. The molecular structure of the perylene complex 2g is characterized by X-ray crystallography. Reaction of 2c with NaBH4 gives a mixture of the 1,5- and 1,4-COD complexes of ruthenium(0), Ru(η6-phenanthrene)(η4-1,5-COD) (3c) and Ru(η6-phenanthrene)(η4-1,4-COD) (4c) in 76% in 1:8 molar ratio. The arene exchange reactions among cationic complexes [Ru(η6-arene)(1-5-η5-cyclooctadienyl)]PF6 (2) showed the coordination ability of arenes in the following order: benzene ∼ triphenylene > phenanthrene > naphthalene > perylene ∼ pyrene > anthracene, suggesting the benzo fused rings, particularly those of acenes, decreasing thermal stability of the arene complex.  相似文献

Photochemical reactions of M(CO)3(5-C9H7), where M=Mn (1) or Re (2), with indene have produced 2-indene complexes M(CO)2(2-C9H8)(5-C9H7), where M=Mn (3) or Re (4). Deprotonation of complex3 witht-BuOK in THF at –60 °C gives the anion [Mn(CO)2(1-C9H7)(5-C9H7) (5), in which there occurs a rapid interchange of the Mn(CO)2(5-C9H7) group between positions 1 and 3 in the 1-indenyl ligand. The reaction of complex4 with Ph3CPF6 in CH2Cl2 at 0 °C leads to the complex [Re(CO)2(3-C9H7)(5-C9H7)PF6, whereas the similar reaction of complex3 gives only decomposition products even at –20 °C.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. New cationic complexes [(6-C13H10)Fe(5-Cp*)]PF6 and [(6-9-CH3-C13H9)Fe(5-Cp*)]PF6 were obtained by the reaction of Cp*Fe(CO)2Br with fluorene and 9-methylfluorene, respectively. Deprotonation of these complexes byt-BuOK in THF affords zwitter-ionic compounds (6-C13H9)Fe(5-Cp*) and (6-9-CH3-C13H8)Fe(5-Cp*) (A). WhenA is heated in nonane at 150 °C it undergoes 65 inter-ring rearrangement with the formation of hexamethyldibenzoferrocene (B). The electrochemical behavior ofA andB was studied by cyclic voltammetry. One-electron reduction ofA andB to the corresponding radical anions induces inter-ring haptotropic rearrangementA .–B .–. Planar chiral arenetricarbonylchromium complexes have been intensively investigated and they have been applied as valuable building blocks for asymmetric synthesis and as ligands for asymmetric catalysis. In contrast, in the field of the isoelectronic cationic [(η(6)-arene)Mn(CO)(3)](+) complexes, until these last 10 years, very few studies were published involving nonracemic planar chiral cationic complexes and their potential applications, certainly because of the difficult access to enantiopure starting material. In 2009, however, the discovery of the first resolution of such compounds opened a new area for their application in the field of organic as well as of organometallic enantioselective syntheses. We felt it important to write a review on this subject to give an up-to-date summary of the methodologies used to prepare enantiomerically pure planar chiral neutral [(η(5)-cyclohexadienyl)Mn(CO)(3)] and cationic [(η(6)-arene)Mn(CO)(3)](+) complexes as well as their potential in enantioselective synthesis.  相似文献

Conversion of 4′-(2,5-dihydrophenyl)butanol or N-trifluoroacetyl-2,5-dihydrobenzylamine with MCl3·n H2O (M = Ru, Os) affords the corresponding dimeric η6-arene complexes in good to excellent yields. Under similar reaction conditions, the amine functionalized arene precursor 2,5-dihydrobenzylamine yields the corresponding Ru(II) complex. For osmium, HCl induced oxidation leads to formation of [OsCl6]2− salts. However, under optimized reaction conditions, conversion of the precursor 2,5-dihydrobenzylamine chloride results in clean formation of η6-arene Os(II) complex. X-ray structures of [(η6-benzyl ammonium)(dmso)RuCl2] and (2,5-dihydrobenzyl ammonium)4[OsCl6]2confirm the spectroscopic data. High stability towards air and acid as well as enhanced solubility in water is observed for all η6-arene complexes.  相似文献

Five different (η4-tetraarylcyclobutadiene)(η5-formylcyclopentadienyl)cobalt(I) complexes (1a-1e) were synthesized in reasonable yields in a one-pot reaction of CoCl(PPh3)3, formylcyclopentadienyl sodium and the appropriate diarylethyne. The aryl groups of the ethyne were modified by various para-substituents X (X = Cl, H, Me, OMe, NMe2), which were intended to alter the redox potentials of the synthesized cobalt sandwich complexes. A cyclic voltammetry study revealed a linear dependence of the first oxidation potential to the Hammett parameter σp. X-ray structure analyses performed for two complexes (X = Me and NMe2) demonstrate only subtle changes in the solid state structure despite the large differences in electrochemical properties. A theoretical analysis by the density functional theory method has been performed on the geometries and electronic structures of the complex (η4-cyclobutadiene)(η5-cyclopentadienyl)Co(I), its cation and dication.  相似文献

The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition products of C,N-disubstituted nitrones and different in situ prepared mono-N-substituted nitrones to η6-(styrene) chromium tricarbonyl and η6-(ethyl cynnamate) chromium tricarbonyl were synthesized and characterized by HPLC, IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The resulted isoxazolidines were produced with a full regioselectivity and high stereoselectivity reached 100% in most cases.  相似文献

Acid?Cbase equilibria of the aqua adducts of Ru(II) arene complexes, general formulae [(??6-p-cymene)Ru (L1?3)Cl2] where L1?=?3-acetylpyridine (1), L2?=?4-acetylpyridine (2) and L3?=?2-amino-5-chloropyridine (3), then [(??6-p-cymene)Ru(HL4)Cl2] with HL4?=?isonicotinic acid (4); [(??6-p-cymene)Ru(HL5?8)Cl] where H2L5?=?2,3-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (5), H2L6?=?2,4-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (6), H2L7?=?2,5-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (7) and H2L8?=?2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (8) have been studied. pK a values were determined by potentiometry at 25?°C and constant ionic strength of 0.1?M NaNO3.
