Two Pd(II) complexes involving Schiff base ligands, namely, [Pd(L1)2] (1), [Pd2(L2)Cl2] (2) [HL1 = 2-((2,6-diisopropylphenylimino)methyl)-4,6-dibromophenol, L2 = N-(4-isopropylbenzylidene)-2,6-diisopropylbenzenamine] have been synthesized using solvothermal methods and characterized by elemental analysis, IR-spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, UV–vis absorption spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is a mononuclear cyclometalated Pd(II) complex, whereas complex 2 is a μ-chloro-bridged dinuclear. Both 1 and 2 display photoluminescence in the solid state at 298 K and possess fluorescence lifetimes (τ 1 = 86.40 ns, τ 2 = 196.21 ns, τ 3 = 1,923.31 ns at 768 nm for 1, τ 1 = 69.92 ns, τ 2 = 136.40 ns, τ 3 = 1,714.26 ns at 570 nm for 2). The Suzuki reactions of 4-bromotoluene with phenylboronic acid by complexes 12 have also been studied.  相似文献

Four homochiral coordination polymers incorporating two chiral reduced Schiff base ligands, namely, [Cu(L1)(H2O)]·H2O (1), [Zn2(L2)2] (2), [Co(L2)(H2O)] (3), and [Ni(L2)(H2O)] (4) (H2L1 = N-(4-carboxyl)benzyl-l-alanine, H2L2 = N-(4-carboxyl)benzyl-l-leucine) have been obtained by hydrothermal methods and characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals that complex 1 exhibits a chain structure with 1D channels. Complexes 24 all are 3D network structures with 1D channels in which the isobutyl group of the ligand points toward to the channel. Complex 2 displays strong photoluminescent emission in the purple region.  相似文献

The copper aminotropones Cu[ON(R′)C7H4R-4]2 [R = H, R′ = Me (13), Et (14), n-Pr (15), n-Bu (16), Bz (17), MenOCH2CH2 (20); R = i-Pr, R′ = Me (18), n-Pr (19), MenOCH2CH2 (21)] have been prepared from the corresponding aminotropones HN(R′)OC7H4R-4 (17) by reacting with copper(II) acetate in aqueous ethanol. 20, 21 contain the flavourant, menthol, as part of the ligand. The structures of 5 (R = H, R′ = Bz), a hydrogen-bonded dimer, 14 and 20, both incorporating square-planar, four-coordinate copper centres, have been determined by X-ray crystallography. The antibacterial activities of complexes 13, 17, 20 and 21 have been assayed against Staphylococcus waneri, an in vitro model of plaque inhibition effects, and found to be more active than a commercial toothpaste formulation, but less active than the O,O-chelated copper(II) complex of ethylmaltol.  相似文献

Nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of two unsymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base ligands [Ni(Me-salabza)] (1), [Cu(Me-salabza)] (2) and [Ni(salabza)] (3), {H2salabza = N,N′-bis[(salicylidene)-2-aminobenzylamine] and H2Me-salabza = N,N′-bis[(methylsalicylidene)-2-aminobenzylamine]}, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structures of 2 and 3 complexes have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both copper(II) and nickel(II) ions adopt a distorted square planar geometry in [Cu(Me-salabza)] and [Ni(salabza)] complexes. The cyclic voltammetric studies of these complexes in dichloromethane indicate the electronic effects of the methyl groups on redox potential.  相似文献

The crystal structures of (5-bromosalicylidenethiosemicarbazido)aquacopper(II) sulfato(5-bromosalicylidenethiosemicarbazido)aquacuprate(II) tetrahydrate (I), (5-nitrosalicylidenethiosemicarbazido)dimethylsulfoxide(methanol)copper(II) sulfate (II), and catena(μ-thiocyanato)(5-nitrosalicylidenethiosemicarbazido)copper(II) (III) were determined. In structure I, the independent part of the unit cell contains four water molecules of crystallization and the cation-anion complex [Cu(H2O)(L)][Cu(H2O)(L)(SO4)] containing two nonequivalent copper complexes (A and B). In these, the metal atom coordinates monodeprotonated 5-bromosalicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (HL) and water molecules, and in anion B also a sulfate ion. In complex ions A and B, sulfur, azomethine nitrogen, and phenolic oxygen of the salicylidene thiosemicarbazone fragment, and also water molecule form a distorted planar square around the metal atom. The axial vertex of the pyramid in anion B is occupied by the oxygen atom of the monodentate sulfate anion. In structure II, the independent part of the unit cell contains the (5-nitrosalicylidenethiosemicarbazido)dimethylsulfoxide(methanol)copper(II) complex cation and the sulfate anion. The coordination polyhedron of the central atom is a slightly distorted tetragonal pyramid whose base is formed by sulfur, azomethine nitrogen, phenolic oxygen of thiosemicarbazone, and dimethyl sulfoxide oxygen. The axial position is occupied by the methanol oxygen atom. In structure III, the copper atom coordinates 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone and the thiocyanate ion, which combines complexes into infinite polymer chains along the [010] direction. The copper coordination polyhedron in III is a slightly distorted tetragonal pyramid whose base is formed by sulfur, azomethine nitrogen, phenolic oxygen of thiosemicarbazone, and nitrogen of thiocyanate ion, the axial vertex is occupied by sulfur of thiocyanate ion of the neighboring complex.  相似文献

Three copper complexes {[Cu2(L1)2]·I3} n (1), [Cu(L2)2] (2), and [Cu2I2(L3)2(MBI)2] (3) (MBI = 2-mercaptobenzimidazole, L1 = N-(benzothiazol-2-yl)acetamidine anion, L2 = N-(thiazol-2-yl) acetamidine anion, L3 = 3-methyl-[1,2,4]thiadiazolo[4,5-a]benzimidazole) have been synthesized solvothermally by the reactions of CuI with 2-benzothiazolamine, 2-aminothiazole and 2-mercaptobenzimidazole (MBI), respectively, in acetonitrile. In situ C–N (or C–S) cross-coupling ligand reactions were observed in all three complexes, and hypothetical reaction mechanisms are proposed for the formation of the ligands and their complexes. The single-crystal X-ray structural analysis reveals that both the Cu(II) and Cu(I) atoms are located in pseudo-tetrahedral environments in complex 1, and L1 acts as a double bidentate ligand which coordinates with the Cu(I) and Cu(II) atoms to form a 1D coordination polymer. Unlike complex 1, the Cu(II) atom in complex 2 is in a square planar geometry, coordinated by two L2 ligands with relatively small steric hindrance. In complex 3, the Cu(I) atoms have a distorted tetrahedral geometry, being coordinated by one nitrogen atom from L3, two sulfur atoms of MBI ligands, and one iodide. The sulfur atoms from MBI ligands bridge two Cu(I) atoms to form a binuclear complex. All three complexes exhibit relatively high thermal stabilities. Complex 1 displays intense fluorescence emission at 382 nm and complex 3 displays two intense fluorescence emissions at 401 and 555 nm.  相似文献

4-Alkylaminopyridinethiones · HCl (1 · HCl) react with bis-trichlorethylmalonate (3) predominantly to 5-alkylamino-4H-thiopyrano [2,3-b]pyridine-4-ones (6). With alcohols in the presence of acids at 25°C6 undergoes an alcoholysis to the corresponding alkyl-3-(2-thioxo-3-pyridyl)propionates (9). On heating in dilute alkali6 is hydrolysed via 4-alkylamino-2-thioxopyridyl-propylketones (11) to the tautomers, 4-hydroxy-2-thioxopyridylpropylketone (12 A) and 2-thioxo-3-(1-hydroxybutenyl)-4-piperidon (12 B), resp. On refluxing with alkali the ethyl-pyridylpropionate9 a is cyclisized to the 1-alkyl-1,6-naphthyridine-2(1H)-one (4 a), but boiling in ethanolic acid hydrolyses9 a via the pyridylpropionic acid10 to 4-alkyl-aminopyridylpropylketone (11 a). The latter can be transformed via the tautomers12 A,B and 2-methylthio-3-pyridylpropylketone (13) to the 4-hydroxy-3-butyrylpyridone (14 A) and its tautomer, 3-(1-hydroxy-butenyl)-piperidine-2,4-diones (14 B) resp. The structure of14 A,B is established by reaction of 4-isopropylamino-2(1H)-pyridone (2) with butanoylchloride to the 4-isopropylamino-3-butyrypyridone (15) and hydrolysis of15 to the tautomers14 A,B.  相似文献

Three bis-triazole-bis-amide-based copper(II) complexes with different dimensionality, [Cu(dtcd)2 (1,3-HBDC)2]·2H2O (1), [Cu(dtcd) (1,3,5-H2BTC)2]·2H2O (2) and [Cu4(μ 3-OH)2(dtcd)2(SIP)2]·4H2O (3) (dtcd = N,N′-di(4H-1,2,4-triazole) cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxamide, 1,3-H2BDC = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, 1,3,5-H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, NaH2SIP = sodium 5-sulfoisophthalate), have been synthesized under different pH values and structurally characterized. Complex 1 exhibits a zero-dimensional mononuclear structure with one carboxyl group of 1,3-HBDC coordinating to copper(II), while the other carboxyl group is protonated. In complex 2, the CuII ions are bridged by the dtcd ligands forming a one-dimensional chain, in which only one carboxyl group of 1,3,5-H2BTC coordinates with the metal, while the others are protonated. Complex 3 possesses a two-dimensional network based on tetranuclear Cu4 clusters supported by the dtcd and nonprotonated SIP ligands. The various structures clearly indicate that the pH and polycarboxylates have a great influence on the dimensionality and structures of 13. The luminescence properties of 13 and magnetic properties of 3 were investigated.  相似文献

Metal(II) complexes of 4-(((2-hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)amino)-1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one (HL) were prepared, and their compositions and physicochemical properties were characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, with1HNMR, UV–Vis, IR, mass spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. All results confirm that the novel complexes have a 1:1 (M:HL) stoichiometric formulae [M(HL)Cl2] (M = Cu(II)(1), Cd(II)(5)), [Cu(L)(O2NO)(OH2)2](2), [Cu(HL)(OSO3)(OH2)3]2H2O(3), [Co(HL)Cl2(OH2)2]3H2O(4), and the ligand behaves as a neutral/monobasic bidentate/tridentate forming a five/six-membered chelating ring towards the metal ions, bonding through azomethine nitrogen, exocyclic carbonyl oxygen, and/or deprotonated phenolic oxygen atoms. The XRD studies show that both the ligand and Cu(II) complex (1) show polycrystalline with monoclinic crystal structure. The molar conductivities show that all the complexes are non-electrolytes. On the basis of electronic spectral data and magnetic susceptibility measurements, a suitable geometry has been proposed. The trend in g values (g ll > g  > 2.0023) suggest that the unpaired electron on copper has a \(d_{{x^{2} - y^{2} }}\) character, and the complex (1) has a square planar, while complexes (2) and (3) have a tetragonal distorted octahedral geometry. The molecular and electronic structures of the ligand (HL) and its complexes (15) have been discussed. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding between HL ligand and the receptors of the crystal structure of Escherichia coli (E. coli) (3t88) and the crystal structure of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) (3q8u). The activation thermodynamic parameters, such as activation energy (E a), enthalpy (ΔH), entropy (ΔS), and Gibbs free energy change of the decomposition (ΔG) are calculated using Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger methods. The ligand and its metal complexes (15) showed antimicrobial activity against bacterial species such as Gram positive bacteria (Bacillus cereus and S. aureus), Gram negative bacteria (E. coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae) and fungi (Aspergillus niger and Alternaria alternata); the complexes exhibited higher activity than the ligand.  相似文献

The Schiff base bis(4-ethylbenzyl) p-phenylenediimine, 4-eb-p-phen (1), and six new dimeric Pd(II) complexes of the type [Pd(μ-X)(4-eb-p-phen)]2 {X = Cl (2), Br (3), I (4), N3 (5), NCO (6), SCN (7)} have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and 1H and 13C{1H}-NMR experiments. The thermal behavior of the complexes 27 has been investigated by means of thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis. From the final decomposition temperatures, the thermal stability of the complexes can be ordered in the following sequence: 3 > 4 > 7 > 2 ≈ 5 > 6. The final products of the thermal decompositions were characterized as metallic palladium by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD).  相似文献

Copper(II) salts were reacted with various quinoline aldehyde chalcogensemicarbazones to yield compounds formulated as Cu(HL)X2 · nH2O (I: HL = quinoline aldehyde thiosemicarbazone (HL1), X = ClO4, n = 2; II: HL = quinoline aldehyde 4-C2H5-thiosemicarbazone (HL1a), X = NO3, n = 0; III: HL = quinoline aldehyde semicarbazone (HL2), X = ClO4, n = 3 and IV: HL = quinoline aldehyde 4-Ph-semicarbazone (HL2a), X = NO3, n = 1). Regardless of the reagent ratio, the products were compounds having the metal: ligand ratio of 1: 1, where the organic ligand was coordinated tridentate in a molecular form. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction showed that, depending on the chalcogen atom in the organic ligand (S or O), the substituent in the 4th position (at the terminal nitrogen atom), and the specifics of the acido ligand, complexes I–IV had appreciably differing molecular structure organizations. The structures of I and III are formed by a 1D charged coordination polymer, ClO 4 ? anions, and water molecules and may be described by the formula [Cu(HL)(H2O)(ClO4)] n (ClO4) n · nH2O. Copper(II) coordination polyhedra in I and II are (4 + 2) and (4 + 1 + 1) tetragonal bipyramids, respectively. In II and IV, the structures are monomeric and can be described as [Cu(HL1a)(NO3)2] with the metal coordination polyhedron shaped as a (4 + 1) tetragonal pyramid in II and as [Cu(HL2a)(H2O)(NO3)](NO3) with the metal coordination polyhedron shaped as a (3 + 2) trigonal bipyramid in IV. The structure of II is built of molecular complexes, each comprising, apart from ligand HL1a, two monodentate coordinated NO 3 ? groups. The oxygen atom of one anion together with the NNS donor atom set of ligand HL1a form the base, and the oxygen atom of the other anion is in the apex of the coordination polyhedron. In IV, the structure is ionic and built of NO 3 ? anions and [Cu(HL2a)(H2O)(NO3)]+ complex cations, where a cationic coordination polyhedron has a trigonal-bipyramidal configuration with organic ligand HL2a positioned along the long edge. The bipyramidal base is made up by the oxygen atoms of the coordinated water molecule and monodentate nitrato group and the nitrogen atom N2 of the azomethyne group.  相似文献

Mononuclear copper(II) complexes of 1,2,4-triazole-based Schiff base macrocyclic hydrazones, III and IV, have been reported. The prepared amorphous complexes have been characterized by spectroscopic methods, electron spray ionization mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis data. Electrochemical studies of the complexes in DMSO show only one quasi-reversible reduction wave at +0.43 V (ΔE = 70 mV) and +0.42 V (ΔE = 310 mV) for III and IV, respectively, which is assigned to the Cu(II) → Cu(I) reduction process. Temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibilities of III and IV has been measured within an interval of 2–290 K. The values of χM at 290 K are 1.72 × 10?3 cm3 mol?1 and 1.71 × 10?3 for III and IV, respectively, which increases continuously upon cooling to 2 K. EPR spectra of III and IV in frozen DMSO and DMF were also reported. The trend g|| > g⊥ > ge suggests the presence of an unpaired electron in the dx2?y2 orbital of the Cu(II) in both complexes. Furthermore, spectral and antimicrobial properties of the prepared complexes were also investigated.  相似文献

The analysis of heptachlorepoxides in gas- and condense phase of embedded in the organic matrixes analyte samples is highlighted. The electrospray ionization, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance, Raman and CD spectroscopy as well as quantum chemical methods are used. The competitive formation of the variety of epoxides, strongly depending of the reaction conditions. Thus, the products of interaction of matrix-analyte matrixes under the UV–MALDI–MS experiment are comprehensively examinated. Nonetheless, that for heptachlor (HA) is known an epoxide, existing in two isomeric forms, i.e. A and B (exo- and endo-one), the study on the mechanism of the epoxidation of HA, showed formation of new epoxides CF and an intermediate (I), characterizing with high stability, decreasing in the raw F > A > C > B > I > D > E. The epoxide D appeared enantiomer of the insecticide oxychlodran. The reported results on the pesticides, their metabolites and decomposition reactivity products contributed significantly to the field of analytical chemistry, providing possibility for elaboration of highly selective protocols for assessment of environmental contaminant issues.  相似文献

A V-shaped ligand, 1,3-bis(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)-2-thiapropane (L), and its copper(II) and manganese(II) picrate complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The compositions of the complexes are [Cu(L)2](pic)2·2DMF (1) and [Mn(L)(pic)2] (2), respectively. The crystal structure of complex 1 reveals a distorted tetrahedral geometry provided by four N donors from two ligands. Complex 2 is six coordinated, with a distorted octahedral geometry. Experimental studies of the DNA-binding properties indicated that the free ligand and both complexes bind to DNA via the intercalation mode, and the order of the binding affinity is L > 1 > 2. Antioxidant tests in vitro show that the Cu(II) complex possesses significant antioxidant activity against superoxide and hydroxyl radicals, with better scavenging effects than mannitol and vitamin C.  相似文献

Two novel heterotrimetallic tetranuclear complexes [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)]2Gd(DMF)Fe(CN)6·2H2O·DMF (1) and [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)]2Tb(H2O)0.57(DMF)0.43Fe(CN)6·5.5H2O (2) are reported (H4L = N,N′-ethylenebis(3-hydroxysalicylidene)). The central Ln(III) ion is surrounded by two neutral [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)] moieties, forming a Cu2Ln trinuclear unit. The [Fe(CN)6]3? anion is weakly coordinated to one Cu(II) ion of [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)] through a cyanide nitrogen atom with the N–Cu distance of ca. 3.2 Å. Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of overall ferromagnetic interactions in complexes 1 and 2. The magnetic coupling constant in complex 1 is J Cu1Gd1 = 4.54 cm?1 and J Cu2Gd1 = 7.97 cm?1 based on \( \hat{H} = - 2J_{\text{Cu1Gd1}} \hat{S}_{\text{Cu1Gd1}} - 2J_{\text{Cu2Gd1}} \hat{S}_{\text{Cu2Gd1}} \) . Dynamic AC magnetic susceptibility studies reveal that complex 2 shows frequency-dependent out-of-phase signals, typical of single molecule magnet behavior. The energy barrier for complex 2 under a 2 kOe applied DC magnetic field is 13 K.  相似文献

From extraction experiments and γ-activity measurements, the extraction constant corresponding to the equilibrium Sr2+(aq) + 2A?(aq) +1(nb) ? 1·Sr2+(nb) + 2A?(nb) taking place in the two-phase water–nitrobenzene system (A? = picrate, 1 = beauvericin; aq = aqueous phase, nb = nitrobenzene phase) was evaluated as log K ex(1·Sr2+,2A?) = ?0.6 ± 0.1. Further, the stability constant of the 1·Sr2+ complex in nitrobenzene saturated with water was calculated for a temperature of 25 °C: log β nb(1·Sr2+) = 8.5 ± 0.1. Finally, by using quantum-mechanical DFT calculations, the most probable structure of the resulting cationic complex 1·Sr2+ was derived.  相似文献

Five new complexes of general formula [PdX2(p-diben)], where p-diben = N,N′-bis(4-dimethylaminobenzylidene)ethane-1,2-diamine) (1) and X = Cl (2), Br (3), I (4), N3 (5), or CNO (6), were synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structure of compound (5) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 26 were characterized as N,N-chelated products. The crystal structure confirmed this formulation for [Pd(N3)2(p-diben)], besides showing the isomerism inversion of one of the C=N bonds, caused by Pd(II) coordination.  相似文献

Two isomeric NS2-macrocycles incorporating a xylyl group at ortho (o -L) and meta (m -L) positions were employed and their copper complexes (1?C5) were prepared and structurally characterized. The copper(II) nitrate complexes [Cu(L)(NO3)2] (1: L = o -L, 2: L = m -L) for both ligands were isolated. In each case, the copper center is five-coordinated with a distorted square pyramidal geometry. Despite the overall geometrical similarity, 1 and 2 show the different ligand conformation due to the discriminated packing pattern. Reaction of o -L with copper(II) perchlorate afforded complex 3 containing two independent complex cations [Cu(o -L)(H2O)(DMF)(ClO4)]+ and [Cu(o -L)(H2O)(DMF)]2+; the coordination geometry of the former is a distorted octahedron while the latter shows a distorted square pyramidal arrangement. In the reactions of copper(I) halides (I or Br), o -L gave a mononuclear complex [Cu(o-L)I] (4) with a distorted tetrahedral geometry, while m -L afforded a unique exodentate 2:1 (ligand-to-metal) complex [trans-Br2Cu(m-L)2] (5) adopting a trans-type square-planar arrangement.  相似文献
