The vibrational (FT-IR and FT-Raman) and NMR (1H and 13C) spectra of Ca, Mn, and Zn complexes with ortho-, meta-, and para-iodobenzoic acids have been studied. The solid state samples of all complexes have been measured within the range 4000–400 cm−1, while water solutions of ortho-iodobenzoates within the range 4000–800 cm−1. Based on previous experimental data and normal mode calculations for simpler complexes the assignment of bands observed in vibrational spectra of studied compounds has been done. Some significant differences in vibrational structure (frequency and intensity of selected bands) have been observed and discussed. The effect of metal on ring vibrations and carboxylic anion stretching and deformation has been investigated. Also, influence of iodine substitution on the aromatic ring and carboxylic anion, depending on iodine ring position, has been discussed. In case of soluble compounds, wavenumbers of characteristic bands of water solution samples have been compared with wavenumbers of corresponding bands of solid state samples.  相似文献

A series of E-2-benzylideneindanones (a) -tetralones (b) and -benzosuberones (c) with OCH3 (2–4), NO2 (5–7) and F (8–10) substituents in ortho, meta or para position was studied by IR and mass spectrometry. The most important IR bands were assigned and stated correlations between some frequencies and the stereostructure or conjugation feature of the molecules investigated. IR spectra were also analyzed in order to find frequencies characteristic of the size of the alkanone ring. The mass spectrometric investigation aimed at determining fragmentation pathways and finding correlations between them and the ring size of the alkanone ring or the position of the substituents.  相似文献

The macrocyclic compound, [1,2-C2B10H10-1,4-C6H4-1,7-C2B10H10-1,4-C6H4]2 (5)—a novel cyclooctaphane, was prepared by condensation of the C,C′-dicopper(I) derivative of meta-carborane with 1,2-bis(4-iodophenyl)-ortho-carborane. The X-ray crystal structure of 5·C6H6·6C6H12 was determined at 150 K, revealing an extremely loose packing mode. Molecule 5 has a crystallographic Cs and local C2v symmetry; the macrocycle adopts a butterfly (dihedral angle 143°) conformation with the ortho-carborane units at the wingtips and the phenylene ring planes roughly perpendicular to the wing planes. Multinuclear NMR spectra suggest that molecule 5 in solution inverts rapidly via the planar D2h geometry, which (from ab initio HF/6-31G* calculations) is only 1 kcal mol−1 higher in energy than the C2v one. An attempt to prepare an even larger macrocycle, comprising three para-carborane and three ortho-carborane units linked by six para-phenylene units, was unsuccessful.  相似文献

The reaction of nickelocene with phenyllithium, ortho-, meta- and para-methylphenylmagnesium bromide, and 2-((dimethylamino)methyl) phenyllithium are studied. It was found that unstable compounds {CpNiC6H4R} (R = H, o-, m-, p-CH3) are formed in those reactions. For R = CH2N(CH3)2, a stable compound, CpNiC6H4CH2N(CH3)2, is formed due to intramolecular coordination. In other cases, mainly coupling reactions occur and biphenyl, bitolyl and higher coupling products are formed. Compound (CpNiC6H4R) is also formed as a product of thermal decomposition of Cp{η2− C2H4)NiC6H4R. It reacts further to form the same products as above. The mechanism of the coupling reactions is proposed and discussed.  相似文献

Three new unsymmetrical photochromic diarylethenes bearing a chlorine atom at para-, meta- and ortho-position of one terminal benzene ring, namely {1-(2-methyl-5-phenyl-3-thienyl)-2-[2-methyl-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-thienyl]}perfluorocyclopentene (para 1o), {1-(2-methyl-5-phenyl-3-thienyl)-2-[2-methyl-5-(3-chlorophenyl)-3-thienyl]}perfluorocyclopentene (meta 2o), and {1-(2-methyl-5-phenyl-3-thienyl)-2-[2-methyl-5-(2-chlorophenyl) -3-thienyl]}perfluorocyclopentene (ortho 3o), have been synthesized. The substituent position effect on their properties, including photochromism, fluorescence both in solution and in PMMA amorphous film and their electrochemical properties were investigated in detail. The results elucidated that the chlorine atom and its substituent position had a remarkable effect on the absorption characteristics, photochromic reactivity, fluorescence, as well as the electrochemical performances of these diarylethene compounds. For diarylethenes 1, 2 and 3, the cycloreversion quantum yields were gradually increased when the chlorine atom was attached to the para-, meta- and ortho-positions of the one terminal benzene rings; but their molar absorption coefficients both of their open-ring and closed-ring isomers were remarkably decreased. The fluorescent properties of para-substituted diarylethene embedded in poly(methyl methacylate) (PMMA) amorphous film showed good fluorescent switches (quenched to 28%). Furthermore, the cyclic voltammograms experiments elucidated that the electrochemical properties of these diarylethene derivatives were also remarkably dependent on the chlorine atom position effect, which may be attributed to the different electron-inducing ability and steric effect when the chlorine atom was substituted on the different position of the terminal benzene ring.  相似文献

C6F5X compounds react with nucleophiles at the position para to X in some cases (X = H, CH3, NMe2, SMe, CF3), meta in others (X = NH2, O) and occasionally at both meta and para in comparable amounts (X = OMe, NHME); significant amounts of ortho-replacement also occur (X = Cl, OMe). These orientations, and those in polychloro-aromatics and polyfluoro-polynuclear aromatics, can be rationalized by considering the relative stabilities of the Wheland-type intermediates involved (I, II, III), provided the halogens are taken as electron-repelling in π-systems. Reactivities can be rationalized if ground state stabilities are considered as well. A number of predictions have been made on the basis of these arguments.  相似文献

Pentacarbonyl(diethylaminocarbyne)chromium tetrafluoroborate, [(CO)5− CrCNEt2]BF4 (I), reacts with PPh3 with substitution of CO and formation of trans-tetracarbonyl(diethylaminocarbyne)triphenylphosphanechromium tetra-fluoroborate, trans-[PPh3(CO)4CrCNEt2]BF4 (III). Substitution of CO by PPh3 in neutral trans-tetracarbonyl(halo)(diethylaminocarbyne)chromium complexes, trans-X(CO)4CrCNEt2 (IVa: X = Br, IVb: X = I), leads in a reversible reaction to the corresponding tricarbonyl complexes, mer-X(PPh3)(CO)3− CrNEt2 (V), PPh3 occupying the cis-position to the carbyne ligand. With PPh3 in large excess both reactions follow a first-order rate law. This as well as the activation parameters (ΔH≠ = 104–113 kJ mol−1, ΔS≠ = 64–71 J mol−1 K−1) indicate a dissociative mechanism.  相似文献

The siloxyanilines o-Me3SiOC6H4NH2 (1) and p-RMe2SiOC6H4NH2 (R=H (2); R=Me (3)), and their N-silylated derivatives p-Me3SiOC6H4NHSiMe3 (4) and p-Me3SiOC6H4N(SiMe3)2 (5) have been prepared from ortho- or para-aminophenol and used in the synthesis of imido complexes. Thus, binuclear [{Ti(η5-C5H5)Cl}{μ-NC6H4(p-OSiMe3)}]2 (6) and mononuclear [TiCl2{NC6H4(p-OSiMe3)}(py)3] (7) imido complexes have been obtained from the reaction of 3 and [Ti(η5-C5H5)Cl3] or [TiCl2(NtBu)(py)3], respectively. In contrast, the reaction of 1 with TiCl4 and tBupy affords the titanocycle [TiCl2{OC6H4(o-NH)---N,O}(tBupy)2] (8). Compound 5 has also been used to prepare the niobium imide complex [NbCl3{NC6H4(p-OSiMe3)}(MeCN)2] (9), by its reaction with NbCl5 in CH3CN. These findings have been applied to the synthesis of polynuclear systems. Thus, chlorocarbosilane Si[CH2CH2CH2Si(Me)2Cl]4 (CS–Cl) has been functionalized with the ortho- and para-aminophenoxy groups to give 10 and 11, respectively. The use of 11 has allowed the formation of the tetranuclear compound 12. Attempts to synthesize terminal imido titanium complexes from 10 and TiCl4 in the presence of tBupy and Et3N, give complex 8 and carbosilane CS–Cl.  相似文献

The infrared spectra of cis-3-hexene and trans-3-hexene dissolved in liquid argon have been obtained at temperatures from 93 to 120 K. The absorptions were observed with a low-temperature cell and a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer. Ab initio molecular orbital calculations were performed to obtain the equilibrium geometry, vibrational frequencies, force fields, and infrared intensities. The calculations were done at the Hartree-Fock level using 6-31G basis set. The Cartesian force fields from ab initio calculations have been converted to the force field in symmetry coordinates. The scale factors of ab initio calculated force fields were determined. Normal coordinate calculations were performed using a scaled quantum mechanical (SQM) force field. Vibrational normal modes calculated for the lowest energy rotamers of cis- and trans-3-hexene have been assigned to infrared absorption bands observed in liquid argon solution. The assignments were based on calculated frequencies and potential energy distributions. The equilibrium geometries of the two lowest energy rotamers (symmetry C2 and Cs) of cis-3-hexene and of the three lowest energy rotamers (symmetry Ci, C2, and C1) of trans-3-hexene were calculated. Variable temperature studies of the infrared spectrum of cis- and trans-3-hexenes dissolved in liquid argon were done to obtain the ΔH of conversion between the rotamers C2 and Cs of cis-3-hexene and between the rotamers Ci, C2, and C1 of trans-3-hexene.  相似文献

The rate constants, kCR, of ortho- into para-positronium (o-Ps→p-Ps) spin conversion reactions, CR, caused by the high-spin [CoIIsep]2+, [CoIIdinosar]2+ and [CoIIdiamsar]2+ macrocyclic complexes and also by high-spin [CoII sen]2+ tripod complex were measured at several temperatures. The delocalizations, β, of CoII unpaired electrons, promoted by the mentioned ligands, were determined by using the previously established correlations between kCR and the electron delocalization β of unpaired metal electrons. β is given by the ratio between the Racah inter-electronic repulsion parameters of complexes, B, and that of the free ions, B0. The β values are compared with those of the CoII complexes with en (1,2-ethanediamine), pn (1,2 propanediamine) and dien (2,2′ diamino diethylamine) ligands. The kCR rate constants are also compared with those of the Ps oxidation reactions, OR, promoted by the corresponding CoIII complexes. It is concluded that, unlike OR's, the CR's do not occur by formation of hepta-coordinate adducts with Ps atoms.  相似文献

Previous investigations of complementary polytopic interaction (CPI) columnar mesophases, in which the columns are built up of alternating hexaalkoxytriphenylene (HAT) and hexaphenyltriphenylene (PTP) molecules, concentrated mainly on the effect of variations in the structure of the HAT component. This investigation is concerned with the effect of variations in the structure of the PTP component and, in particular, variations in the position of an alkoxy side chain in the phenyl ring. Stable columnar mesophases are obtained when a hexyloxy substituent is placed in the meta- or para-position but not in the ortho-position. In the case of the meta- and para-substituted systems, the two-component CPI columnar phases are stable over a considerably larger temperature range than the one-component HAT systems. The evidence suggests that unfavourable PTP/PTP stacking is as much a driving force for the formation of these mixed stacks as is favourable PTP/HAT stacking, but both need to be explained in terms of the sum of atomically dispersed van der Waals and coulombic interactions. On cooling from the isotropic into the Colh phase, the columnar phase based on a 1:1 mixture of hexakis(hexyloxy)tripenylene and the meta-hexyloxy-substituted PTP gives an unusual texture consisting of 'viking-axe'-shaped structures.  相似文献

Ultra-soft X-ray fluorescence spectra of ortho- and meta-carborane C2B10H12 were obtained. Ab initio self-consistent field (SCF) quantum-chemical calculations of these molecules were performed to interpret BK and CK spectra. Distinctions between electronic structure of closo-carboranes 1,2- and 1,7-C2B10H12 are caused by different efficiency in the interaction of carbon and boron atoms. Location of boron atom between carbon atoms leads to stronger delocalization of electron density in meta-carborane molecule. The correlation between molecular orbitals (MOs) of the anion B12H122− and the closo-carboranes was carried out.  相似文献

Thermal decomposition of mixed ligand thymine (2,4-dihydroxy-5-methylpyrimidine) complexes of divalent Ni(II) with aspartate, glutamate and ADA (N-2-acetamido)iminodiacetate dianions was monitored by TG, DTG and DTA analysis in static atmosphere of air. The decomposition course and steps of complexes [Ni(C5H6N2O2)(C4H5NO4)2−(H2O)2]·H2O, [Ni(C5H6N2O2)(C5H7NO4)2−(H2O)2]·H2O and [Ni(C5H6N2O2)(C6H8N2O5)2−(H2O)2]·1.5H2O were analyzed. The final decomposition products are found to be the corresponding metal oxides. The kinetic parameters namely, activation energy (E*), enthalpy (ΔH*), entropy (ΔS*) and free energy change of decomposition (ΔG*) are calculated from the TG curves using Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger equations. The stability order found for these complexes follows the trend aspartate > ADA > glutamate.  相似文献

Twenty-two isomers/conformers of C3H6S+√ radical cations have been identified and their heats of formation (ΔHf) at 0 and 298 K have been calculated using the Gaussian-3 (G3) method. Seven of these isomers are known and their ΔHf data are available in the literature for comparison. The least energy isomer is found to be the thioacetone radical cation (4+) with C2v symmetry. In contrast, the least energy C3H6O+√ isomer is the 1-propen-2-ol radical cation. The G3 ΔHf298 of 4+ is calculated to be 859.4 kJ mol−1, ca. 38 kJ mol−1 higher than the literature value, ≤821 kJ mol−1. For allyl mercaptan radical cation (7+), the G3 ΔHf298 is calculated to be 927.8 kJ mol−1, also not in good agreement with the experimental estimate, 956 kJ mol−1. Upon examining the experimental data and carrying out further calculations, it is shown that the G3 ΔHf298 values for 4+ and 7+ should be more reliable than the compiled values. For the five remaining cations with available experimental thermal data, the agreement between the experimental and G3 results ranges from fair to excellent.

Cation CH3CHSCH2+√ (10+) has the least energy among the eleven distonic radical cations identified. Their ΔHf298 values range from 918 to 1151 kJ mol−1. Nevertheless, only one of them, CH2=SCH2CH2+√ (12+), has been observed. Its G3 ΔHf298 value is 980.9 kJ mol−1, in fair agreement with the experimental result, 990 kJ mol−1.

A couple of reactions involving C3H6S+√ isomers CH2=SCH2CH2+√ (12+) and trimethylene sulfide radical cation (13+) have also been studied with the G3 method and the results are consistent with experimental findings.  相似文献

Three nonionic surfactants; p-isooctylphenol ethoxylates p-[i-OPE10], p-[i-OPE15], and p-[i-OPE20], were phosphorylated to produce three anionic phosphate ester surfactants. In addition, N-diethoxylated perfluorooctanamide (N-DEFOA) was also prepared. The surface and thermodynamic properties of the three types of surfactants and mixtures of the fluorocarbon surfactant (FC) with the hydrocarbon surfactants (HC) have been investigated. Surface tension as a function of concentration of the surfactant in aqueous solution was measured at 30, 40, 50 and 60°C, using the spinning drop technique. From these measurements the critical micelle concentration (CMC), the surface tension at the CMC (γCMC), the maximum surface excess concentration (Γmax), the minimum area per molecule at the aqueous solution/air interface (Amin), and the effectiveness of surface tension reduction (πCMC), were calculated. The thermodynamic parameters of micellization (ΔGmic, ΔHmic, ΔSmic) and of adsorption (ΔGad, ΔHad, ΔSad) for these surfactants and their mixtures were also calculated. Structural effects on micellization, adsorption and effectiveness of surface tension reduction are discussed in terms of these parameters. The results show that the FC surfactant and its mixtures with HC surfactants enhance the efficiency in surface tension reduction and adsorption in the mixed monolayer at the aqueous solution/air interface, and also, reduce γCMC and the tendency towards micellization.  相似文献

Raman spectra were obtained at temperatures 375–650 K and pressures up to 4 atm from GaCl3-NbCl5 and GaCl3-TaCl5 binary mixtures in the liquid and vapour state. The data indicate formation of NbGaCl8 and TaGaCl8 liquid and vapour dinuclear addition complexes. The spectra were interpreted in terms of a C configuration for the MGaCl8 (M = Nb, Ta) molecules consisting of a MCl6 octahedron sharing an edge with a GaCl4 tetrahedron. A comparison of the spectral features of 1 : 1 GaCl3-NbCl5 and GaCl3-TaCl5 molten mixtures with the spectra of the corresponding polycrystalline samples indicates that the proposed identity for the complexes is maintained in all three phases. The NbGaCl8 and TaGaCl8 complexes exist in the liquid state in a wide temperature range beyond their melting points (125 and 150°C, respectively) and are shown to undergo dissociation to their components [Nb2Cl10(1)/NbCl5(1), Ga2Cl6(1) and Ta2Cl10(1)/TaCl5(1)] with increasing temperature. Both complex molecules are identified in the gaseous state in low percentages among the vapours of their components and are almost totally decomposed at temperatures higher than ca 325°C. The enthalpy of the reaction TaCl5(g) +1/2Ga2Cl6(g) TaGaCl8(g) was determined from accurate relative Raman intensity measurements as ΔH0 = −38±2 kJ mol−1.  相似文献

The complexation reactions between murexide and Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+ in C2H5OH-H2O mixtures have been investigated spectrophotometrically. The formation constants of the 1:1 complexes formed increase in the order Co2+ < Ni2+ < Cu2+ for all solvent mixtures studied, and log Kf is a linear function of the mole fraction of ethanol. The heat of complexation was determined calorimetrically for the nickel and copper complexes. The values of ΔH° and ΔS° are solvent-dependent, and all three complexes have negative ΔH° and positive ΔS° values.  相似文献

A novel dinuclear complex [Cu2(μ-L)4(HL)2] (1) was isolated from starting 2-pyridone (HL) via a resonance and a tautomeric transformation. Each copper centre is in a square-pyramidal coordination sphere, defined by two oxygen atoms (Cu–O4 1.978(5), Cu–O11 1.964(4) Å) and two nitrogen atoms (Cu–N2 2.003(5), Cu–N3 2.007(5) Å) of four bridging deprotonated pyridin-2-olates and an oxygen atom on the top from a neutral 2-pyridone (Cu–O2 2.227(5) Å), analogous to tetracarboxylate paddle-wheel complexes. Compound 1 was compared with mixed pyridin-2-olato/methanoato analogues [Cu2(μ-HCO2)2(μ-L)2(HL)2] · 2CH3CN (2) and [Cu2(μ-HCO2)2(μ-L)2(HL)2] (2a) (2a is an air stable form obtained from 2 outside mother-liquid). The EPR spectra of air stable 1 and 2a show three signals Hz1, H2 and Hz2, typical for the binuclear systems with spin S = 1, both revealing strong antiferromagnetism 2J = −334 (1) and −324 cm−1 (2a). Interestingly, only for 1 additional H1 signal at 100 mT is noticed (D(1) = 0.293 cm−1 <  = 0.320 cm−1 < D(2a) = 0.347 cm−1). On the other hand, several broad signals in the 100–450 mT region, only in the high temperature spectrum for 2a are observed. These results are in agreement with the magnetic susceptibility analysis.  相似文献
