Carbon-13 NMR spectroscopic data of eleven tetracyclo[4.1.0.02,4.03,5]heptanes, two tetracyclo-[5.1.0.02,4.03,5]octanes and twelve tricyclo[4.1.0.02,7]hept-3-enes are reported. In the tetracycloheptanes, halogens located at the 7-position cause large δ substituent effects. endo-Halogens shift the C-4 signal to lower field by about 6 ppm, while exo-haolgens produce upfield shifts of the C-3 signal, which are dependent on the nature of the halogen and reach a maximum of 9.1 ppm in the case of fluorine. An orbital model is proposed to explain the δ upfield shifts. The compounds containing fluorine reveal a connection between the δ substituent effects and the corresponding 13C? 19F coupling constants. Substituents in the 5 position of tricycloheptenes are γ-substituents of C-1, C-3 and C-7 and produce downfield shifts of the absorptions of these nuclei. Their dependence on the nature of the substituent follows approximately those in 1-substituted adamentanes; in the case of C-7, however, their magnitude by far exceeds the adamantane values, bromine (15.5 ppm) being most effective.  相似文献

Conformational analysis of some tetra-and octahydro-11H-pyrido[2,1-b]quinazolin-11-ones 1-3 by 1H and 13C nmr revealed that the 9-methyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro derivative exists mainly in the conformation containing the methyl group in a quasi-axial orientation. Of the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro compounds, the 9-methyl derivative 3e contains the methyl group in a quasi-axial position, while that in the 7-methyl and the 8-methyl derivatives 3c,d is in the equatorial position, and the 6-methyl derivative 3b is a mixture of the two conformers.  相似文献

A study is made of the polarographic behavior of some halogen and mercury derivatives of phenyloxazoles. By considering the mechanism of electroreduction, it is ascertained, that, the first polarographic wave corresponds to reduction of the halogen or mercury-containing substituent, and the second to reduction of the heterocyclic ring. By analysis of polarographic data it is shown that the electron density sequence for carbon atoms in the oxazole ring is C-2相似文献

X-ray and NMR (250 MHz) data for chlorinated 4,4-dimethylcyclohexanones lead to the following conclusions: carbonyl and chlorine substituent effects on 2J and 3J coupling constants are similar to those observed for 4-tert-butylcyclohexanones. In other respects, the gem dimethyl and the tert-butyl groups induce on the ring similar large 4J coupling constants (H-3′? C-3? C-4? C-5? H-5′); the results can be interpreted in terms of local gemoetric deformations and additivity of these deformations. The determination of dihedral angles by Lambert's method and from X-ray data shows the identity of the structures in the solid state and the dissolved state and confirms the great structural similarity between 4-tert-butyl- and 4,4-dimethylcyclohexanone derivatives.  相似文献

By 1H nmr, the predominance of the conformer with a quasi-axial 6-methyl group was established for the pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidines I-III. The 13C nmr spectra of I-III were completely assigned. The conjugative effect of substitution at G-3 on 1H and 13C chemical shifts of the C-9 methylene group parallels its effect on reactivity.  相似文献

In solution the 9-phenylaminotetrahydro-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-ones 1-5 were oxidized into the 9-aminodihydro compounds 15-19 by atmospheric oxygen at ambient temperature. Autoxidation is most probably a free-radical chain process, which takes place with ground-state triplet oxygen via the radical cation of the enamine form. The 9-aminodihydro derivatives were also prepared from 9,9-dibromo compounds 10 and 11 and from 9-hydroxydihydro compounds 12-14 . The 9-hydroxydihydro derivatives, obtained from the 9-amino compounds 16, 19 and 21 by acidic hydrolysis, showed a solvent-dependent and R1 substituent-dependent oxo-enol tautomerism. The enol form was stabilized by electron-withdrawing R1 groups and a polar solvent. However, for the 9-aminodihydropyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidines 15-26 only the enamine tautomer (E) could be identified independently of the substituent and the solvent. The chemical structures of the synthesized products were studied by uv, ir, 1H- and 13C-nmr spectroscopy.  相似文献

Reaction of ethyl 9-hydrazono-6-methyl-4-oxo-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3-carboxylate and benzaldehyde and its derivatives give a tautomeric mixture of 9-arylidenehydrazono-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro- and 9-arylidenehydrazine-6,7-dihydropyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine derivatives. In the same case the enhydrazine and hydrazone tautomers were separated. The structure of the products were characterised by uv, ir, 1H and 13C nmr. The equilibrium of the tautomers was affected by the substituent of the phenyl ring. A fair linear correlation exists between the logarithms of the equilibrium constants and Hammett σm and σ? constants of the substituents present on the phenyl ring.  相似文献

Six new 4-alkynyl-2-bromoquinolines have been synthesised via palladium catalysed C? C bond formation between 2,4-dibromoquinoline and mono-substituted alkynes. Position of the alkyne substituent was confirmed to be at C-4 by an nOe experiment on some methoxy derivatives prepared by nucleophilic displacement of bromo substituent.  相似文献

The variation in the one–bond couplings 1J(CH) in vinyl derivatives with substituent has been examined. For the geminal proton 1J correlates very badly with substituent electronegativity but extremely well with σI, if conjugating substituents are excluded. In the case of halogen substituents the marked stereospecificity of 1J(CH) for the cis and trans protons can be rationalised in terms of an intrinsic dependence of πCH on the dihedral angle between the coupling atoms and the perturbing substituent, with an additional positive increment to the cis coupling due to direct interaction of the substituent non-bonding electrons or to orbital circulation of the substituent electrons. The intrinsic specificity of β-substituent effects on 1J(CH) is also found in analogous compounds containing C?N and C?O bonds.  相似文献

The 13C chemical shifts and the carbon–proton coupling constants have been determined for some chlorinated isobutane and isobutene compounds. The one-bond coupling constants in isobutane derivatives showed a regular increase with an increasing number of γ-chlorine substituents. The three-bond coupling constant of the methyl carbon decreased from 4.2 to 2.0 Hz as the number of chlorine substituents in the γ-position increased. In the isobutene compounds, the vicinal coupling of C-1 was larger to protons in a group that is trans with respect to a chlorine substituent on C-1 than to those in the corresponding group cis to the chlorine. The vicinal coupling constants between atoms in geminal groups (on C-2) seem to be affected by the orientation of the chlorine substituent on C-1.  相似文献

Structures of selected 3,6‐dihalogeno‐N‐alkyl carbazole derivatives were calculated at the B3LYP/6‐311++G(3df,2pd) level of theory, and their 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) isotropic shieldings were predicted using density functional theory (DFT). The model compounds contained 9H, N‐methyl and N‐ethyl derivatives. The relativistic effect of Br and I atoms on nuclear shieldings was modeled using the spin–orbit zeroth‐order regular approximation (ZORA) method. Significant heavy atom shielding effects for the carbon atom directly bonded with Br and I were observed (~?10 and ~?30 ppm while the other carbon shifts were practically unaffected). The decreasing electronegativity of the halogen substituent (F, Cl, Br, and I) was reflected in both nonrelativistic and relativistic NMR results as decreased values of chemical shifts of carbon atoms attached to halogen (C3 and C6) leading to a strong sensitivity to halogen atom type at 3 and 6 positions of the carbazole ring. The 13C NMR chemical shifts for 1,3-dithiolane and 13 methyl substituted derivatives are reported. Substituent effects are derived and compared with those for cyclopentanes and 1,3-dioxolanes. The magnitude and variety of the substituent effects are best explained with the aid of a half-chair conformation where the S-1? C-2? S-3 plane passes between C-4 and C-5.  相似文献

The influence of substituents on the 13C NMR chemical shifts of 2-substituted 1-methylbenzimidazoles has been investigated. The electronic effects of the substituents are transmitted to C-4 and C-7 mainly by the resonance mechanism, and to C-5, C-6 and N-CH3, by approximately equal contributions of the resonance and inductive components. A critical analysis of the share in the transmission of substituent effects through the ‘pyridine-type’ and ‘pyrrole-type’ nitrogen atoms is given.  相似文献

To enable a comparison between a C—H…X hydrogen bond and a halogen bond, the structures of two fluorous‐substituted pyridinium iodide salts have been determined. 4‐[(2,2‐Difluoroethoxy)methyl]pyridinium iodide, C8H10F2NO+·I, (1), has a –CH2OCH2CF2H substituent at the para position of the pyridinium ring and 4‐[(3‐chloro‐2,2,3,3‐tetrafluoropropoxy)methyl]pyridinium iodide, C9H9ClF4NO+·I, (2), has a –CH2OCH2CF2CF2Cl substituent at the para position of the pyridinium ring. In salt (1), the iodide anion is involved in one N—H…I and three C—H…I hydrogen bonds, which, together with C—H…F hydrogen bonds, link the cations and anions into a three‐dimensional network. For salt (2), the iodide anion is involved in one N—H…I hydrogen bond, two C—H…I hydrogen bonds and one C—Cl…I halogen bond; additional C—H…F and C—F…F interactions link the cations and anions into a three‐dimensional arrangement.  相似文献

An interplay between 4-bromo- and 4-iodo-5-nitrophthalonitriles (XNPN, X=Br or I) and any one of the azines (pyridine 1 , 4-dimethylaminopyridine 2 , isoquinoline 3 , 4-cyanopyridine 4 , 2-methylpyridine 5 , 2-aminopyridine 6 , quinoline 7 , 1-methylisoquinoline 8 , and 2,2’-bipyridine 9 ) proceeds differently depending on steric and electronic effects of the heterocycles. Sterically unhindered azines 1–3 underwent N-arylation to give the corresponding azinium salts (characterized by 1H and 13C{H} NMR and high-resolution ESI-MS). In contrast, azines 4 – 9 with sterically hindered N atoms or bearing an electron-withdrawing substituent, form stable co-crystals with XNPN, where two interacting molecules are bound by halogen bonding. In all obtained co-crystals, X⋅⋅⋅N structure-directed halogen bonds were recognized and theoretically evaluated including DFT calculations (PBE0-D3/def2-TZVP level of theory), QTAIM analysis, molecular electrostatic potential surfaces, and noncovalent interaction plot index. Estimated energies of halogen bonding vary from −7.6 kcal/mol (for 6 ⋅ INPN) to −11.4 kcal/mol ( 5 ⋅ INPN).  相似文献

6-Methyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-ones 1-5 were subjected to Vilsmeier-Haack acylation with complexes of phosphoryl chloride and different amides. Acylation at position 9 of the pyridopyrim-idines was successful with the iminium salt formed in situ from N-formylpiperidine, N-methylformanilide or N,N-diethylbenzamide, but unsuccessful with the iminium salt formed from N,N-diethylacetamide or N,N-di-ethylisobutyramide, respectively. The iminium salt formed from formanilide, N-methylpyrrolidinone or formamide reacted only with those tetrahydropyridopyrimidinones which contain a strongly electronegative substituent (e.g. CN or CO2Et) in position 3. With the latter derivatives, the 9-phenylaminomethylene group could be introduced using N,N-diphenylformamide or in a “one-pot” procedure with aniline and triethyl orthoformate. Ethanolysis of 9-N-methyl-N-phenylaminomethylene derivatives 15 and 19 afforded 9-ethoxy-methylene compounds 26 and 27 in the presence of hydrogen chloride. The structures of the 9-substituted 6-methyltetrahydropyridopyrimidin-4-ones 14-25 were elucidated by means of uv, 1H and 13C nmr spectroscopy. 9-Piperidinomethylene 14 , 9-(N-methyl-N-phenylaminomethylene 15-19 and 9-(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinylidene) 21 derivatives exist as E geometric isomers. 9-Phenylaminomethylene-6-methyl-4-oxo-6,7,8,9-tetra-hydro-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3-carbonitrile 20 displays a solvent-dependent E-Z isomerism. The bis-compound 25 contains both E and Z geometric exo C ? CH double bonds. 9-Benzoyl derivatives 23 and 24 exist predominantly as the 1,6,7,8-tetrahydropyridopyrimidin-4-one tautomer.  相似文献

The electrostatic properties of halogen atoms are studied theoretically in relation to their ability of halogen bonding, which is an attractive intermolecular interaction of a covalently bonded halogen atom with a negatively charged atom of a neighboring molecule. The electric quadrupole (of electronic origin) with a positive zz component Θzz of a covalently bonded halogen atom, where the z axis is taken along the covalent bond involving the halogen atom, is mainly responsible for the attractive electrostatic interaction with a negatively charged atom. This positive Θzz is an intrinsic property of halogen atoms with the px2py2pz configuration of the valence electronic shell, as shown by ab initio molecular orbital calculations for isolated halogen atoms with this electronic configuration, and increases in the order of F < Cl < Br < I, in parallel with the known general sequence of the strength of halogen bonding. For halogen‐containing aromatic compounds, the substituent effects on the electrostatic properties are also studied. It is shown that the magnitude of Θzz and the electric field originating from it are rather insensitive to the substituent effect, whereas the electric field originating from atomic partial charges has a large substituent effect. The latter electric field tends to partially cancel the former. The extent of this partial cancellation is reduced in the order of Cl < Br < I and is also reducible by proper substitution on or within the six‐membered ring of halobenzene. The 13C NMR spectra of a number of 2,3-dihdyro-1,4-diazepinium salts, like 1H NMR spectra, confirm shape, and charge distribution for these compounds. The ring has a half-chair shape which is inverting rapidly at room temperature. The atoms in the conjugated portion of the ring show alternating polarity, and phenyl groups attached to these positions act, respectively, as electron-donors or electron-acceptors. A methyl substituent in the saturated portion of the ring shows equal preference for quasi-equatorial and quasi-axial conformations. Some comparisons are drawn between present results and similar results obtained with related benzene derivatives.  相似文献

Carbon-13 chemical shifts and J(PC) coupling constants of 29 vinyl phosphate derivatives are presented. In the series of compounds (R1O)2P(O)OC1(R)?C2X2 (where 3 in R indicates the first carbon of the R2 substituent) large differences were found between the 3J(P, O, C-1, C-3) and 3J(P, O, C-1, C-2) coupling constants of the chlorinated (X?CI) and the unsubstituted (X?H) derivatives. A possible explanation of this phenomenon is given on the basis of Jameson's s bond character theory. Strong stereospecificity of 3J(P, O, C-1, C-3) coupling constants was observed in the series of compounds (R1O)2 P(O)OC1(R)?C2HR3. Coupling constants varied between 3.2–4.9 Hz in the E isomers, while peaks could not be resolved in the Z isomers. The 3J(P, O, C-1, C-2) coupling constants were regularly 20–30% greater in the Z than in the E isomers.  相似文献

13C NMR spectra of indan derivatives bearing substituents in the 1, 2, 5 and 6 positions are reported and assigned by LIS measurements and other techniques. Epimeric indanes bearing vicinal oxygen and phenyl or benzyl substituents show ring carbon shielding in the cis relative to the trans isomers, which is compared with corresponding cyclopentane shifts, and indicates the predominance of envelope conformations with pseudoaxial oxygen substituents for the cis isomers. Acetylation shifts show consistently larger shielding at C-β for the trans compounds. Introduction of oxygen at C-5 leads to asymmetric shielding effects at the ortho carbon atoms as soon as there is a substituent in the para position which can participate in mesomeric forms.  相似文献
