We present a regular class of exact black hole solutions of the Einstein equations coupled with a nonlinear electrodynamics source. For weak fields the nonlinear electrodynamics becomes the Maxwell theory, and asymptotically the solutions behave as the Reissner–Nordström one. The class is endowed with four parameters, which can be thought of as the mass m, charge q, and a sort of dipole and quadrupole moments and , respectively. For 3, 4, and |q|2s c m the corresponding solutions are regular charged black holes. For = 3, they also satisfy the weak energy condition. For = = 0 we recover the Reissner–Nordström singular solution and for = 3, = 4 the family includes a previous regular black hole reported by the authors.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Unter der Voraussetzung, daß das Ahtivierungsfeld für die reversible Bewegung der Blochschen Wände dem Maxwellschen Verteilungsgesetz unterliegt, wird die Entstehung des Maximums der inneren Reibung im Wechselfeld theoretisch erläutert. Weiter wird die Lösung der Differenzialgleichung für die Bewegung einer Blochschen Wand bei gleichzeitiger Wirkung des Wechselfeldes und der Torsionsbeanspruchung gegeben. Die Messung bei einigen Torsionsfrequenzen ermöglicht die Bestimmung gewisser mikroskopischer Konstanten.

We study perturbations of the quantized version 0 of integrable Hamiltonian systems by point interactions. We relate the eigenvalues of to the zeros of a certain meromorphic function . Assuming the eigenvalues of 0 are Poisson distributed, we get detailed information on the joint distribution of the zeros of and give bounds on the probability density for the spacings of eigenvalues of . The paper deals with the theory of the new magnetomechanical phenomenon in an alternating field [6, 7]. The first part concerns the internal friction of longitudinal oscillations of a ferromagnetic material in the shape of a wire in a constant magnetic field. It is assumed that the medium in which the sample oscillates is conducting and has a certain permeability. Equations defining the magnetic field in the oscillating material are derived from the basic thermodynamic relations. The term describing the non-conservative force component in a complex formulation is used to determine the internal friction. A general relation between the internal friction and the magnetic field is derived, as well as other expressions, which are a simplification of it. The second part of the paper deals with internal friction in an alternating field. It is shown that the solution can be transformed to the sum of the internal frictions of the different harmonic oscillations, which are obtained as a partial solution of the problem on the assumption that the elastic oscillations in interaction with the field oscillations are separated into their harmonic components. The calculation then becomes that of the internal friction considered in the first part of the paper. In this case the internal friction significantly depends on the field amplitude. The functional dependence of the internal friction peak on the frequency of the mechanical oscillations is also calculated. The agreement of the theory with experiment is satisfactory.

A cluster of two atoms described by thes-f model with Coulomb repulsion has been considered. The interaction between localized 4f electrons (S=1/2) is taken in the molecular field approximation. The thermodynamic quantities like magnetization, specific heat and correlation functions n , n , S z n , S z n , S z (n n ), n n and S + a + a as functions of temperature are presented for different band fillingN=0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2. The dependence of Curie temperature onN is calculated. The phase diagram forN=1 (T=0K) shows the possibility of existence of two phases: paramagnetic and ferromagnetic.The Curie temperature and the specific heat as functions ofN exhibit similar trends as found in experiments on doped magnetic semiconductors.  相似文献

The central limit theorem of Cushen and Hudson is reformulated on the algebra of the CCR. Namely, for a gauge invariant state , the weighted convolutions n of the central limit tend to the quasi-free reduction Q of pointwise. Laser nitriding of Armco iron in nitrogen was studied for KrF-excimer-laser irradiation. The influence of the energy density and number of pulses on the nitrogen take-up and the nitride phases formed was investigated using Resonant Nuclear Reaction Analysis (RNRA) and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Besides the original a-iron, austenite-Fe(N), martensite-Fe(N),-Fe2+N, and-Fe16N2 were identified. The fraction of the e-phase was found to increase with the number of pulses and the energy density. A threshold energy density of 1.8(2) J/cm2 for the laser nitriding process was found.  相似文献

The spectrum (H) of the tight binding Fibonacci Hamiltonian (H mn= m,n+1+ m+1,n + m,n v(n),v(n)= ((n–1)), 1/ is the golden number) is shown to coincide with the dynamical spectrum, the set on which an infinite subsequence of traces of transfer matrices is bounded. Exact series expansion data of Sykes et al. are used to calculate the average numberc n and perimeters n of clusters of sizen20 in the site percolation problem for the triangular, square, and honeycomb lattice. At the percolation thresholdp n we find a sharply peaked distribution of perimeterss n with mean s n =((1–p n )/p c )n+O(n ) and width s n 2S n 2n 1.6 where1/=0.39. This perimeter s n should not be interpreted as a cluster surface in the usual sense. Two tests confirm the universality hypothesis with reasonable accuracy. The asymptotic decay of the cluster numbersc n withn is consistent with the postulated asymmetry aboutp c : logc n n forn with1 forp<p c and1/2 forp>p c .  相似文献

The mathematical relationship between the orientational order parameters and the coherent neutron scattering cross section for a nematic liquid crystal is given. For deuterated para-azoxyanisole the single-molecule part of the cross section is evaluated within the meanfield approximation and combined with experimental results to give information about molecular orientational order in terms of P 2, P 4 and P 6. Both P 2 and P 4 are found necessary for describing the molecular order. Discrepancies between experimental and theoretical results are interpreted as possibly reflecting the inadequacy of the meanfield theory of Maier and Saupe.  相似文献

Successive band-splitting transitions occur in the one-dimensional map xi+1=g(xi),i=0, 1, 2,... withg(x)=x, (0 x 1/2) –x +, (1/2 <x 1) as the parameter is changed from 2 to 1. The transition point fromN (=2n) bands to 2Nbands is given by=(2)1/N (n=0, 1,2,...). The time-correlation function i=xix0/(x0)2,xi xi–xi is studied in terms of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Frobenius-Perron operator of the map. It is shown that, near the transition point=2, i–[(10–42)/17] i,0-[(102-8)/51]i,1 + [(7 + 42)/17](–1)ie–yi, where2(–2) is the damping constant and vanishes at=2, representing the critical slowing-down. This critical phenomenon is in strong contrast to the topologically invariant quantities, such as the Lyapunov exponent, which do not exhibit any anomaly at=2. The asymptotic expression for i has been obtained by deriving an analytic form of i for a sequence of which accumulates to 2 from the above. Near the transition point=(2)1/N, the damping constant of i fori N is given by N=2(N-2)/N. Numerical calculation is also carried out for arbitrary a and is shown to be consistent with the analytic results.  相似文献

A new method is proposed for calculating the energy in certain special points of the Brillouin zone. The wave functions of valence and conduction electrons are given in the form of the linear combination of plane waves and the orthogonality condition of these functions to the wave functions of lower states is replaced by the repulsive potential. The practical application of this very simple method is illustrated on the energy spectrum of silicon in the centre of the Brillouin zone. It is proved that the results are comparable with some other methods, e. g. the orthogonalized plane-wave method.

The differential cross sections of tritons from the (d, t) reaction on9Be,10B and13C targets have been measured in the angular range of 5° LAB110° with relatively small errors, 5%. We study the antiferromagnetic q-state Potts model on the square lattice for q=3 and q=4, using the Wang–Swendsen–Kotecký (WSK) Monte Carlo algorithm and a powerful finite-size-scaling extrapolation method. For q=3 we obtain good control up to correlation length 5000; the data are consistent with ()=Ae 2 p (1+a 1 e + ...) as , with p1. The staggered susceptibility behaves as stagg 5/3. For q=4 the model is disordered (2) even at zero temperature. In appendices we prove a correlation inequality for Potts antiferromagnets on a bipartite lattice, and we prove ergodicity of the WSK algorithm at zero temperature for Potts antiferromagnets on a bipartite lattice.  相似文献

A theory containing both electric and magnetic charges is formulated using two vectors potentials,A andC . This has the aesthetic advantage of treating electric and magnetic charges both as gauge symmetries, but it has the experimental disadvantage of introducing a second massless gauge boson (the magnetic photon) which is not observed. This problem is dealt with by using the Higgs mechanism to give a mass to one of the gauge bosons while the other remains massless. This effectively hides the magnetic charge, and the symmetry associated with it, when one is at an energy scale far enough removed from the scale of the symmetry breaking.This paper is dedicated to my grandparents Herbert and Anneliese Schmidt.  相似文献
