Being awfully harmful to the environment and human health, the qualitative and quantitative determinations of polycyclic aromatic amines (PAAs) are of great significance. In this paper, a novel core–shell heterostructure of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as the core and graphene oxide nanoribbons (GONRs) as the shell (MWCNTs@GONRs) was produced from longitudinal partially unzipping of MWCNTs side walls using a simple wet chemical strategy and applied for electrochemical determination of three kinds of PAAs (1-aminopyrene (1-AP), 1-aminonaphthalene and 3,3′-diaminobiphenyl). Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and electrochemical methods were used to characterize the as-prepared MWCNTs@GONRs. Due to the synergistic effects from MWCNTs and GONRs, the oxidation currents of PAAs at the MWCNTs@GONRs modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode are much higher than that at the MWCNTs/GC, graphene/GC and bare GC electrodes. 1-AP was used as the representative analyte to demonstrate the sensing performance of the MWCNTs@GONRs/GC electrode, and the proposed modified electrode has a linear response range of 8.0–500.0 nM with a detection limit of 1.5 nM towards 1-AP.  相似文献

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene-co-(5-amino-2-naphthalenesulfonic acid)) (PEDOT-PANS) film modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared by electrochemical polymerization technique. The properties of modified electrode was studied. It was found that the electrochemical properties of modified electrode was very much dependent on the experimental conditions, such as monomer oxidation potential and pH. The modified electrode surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The PEDOT-PANS film modified electrode shows electrocatalytic activity toward oxidation of dopamine (DA) in acetate buffer solution (pH 5.0) and results in a marked enhancement of the current response. The linear sweep voltammetric (LSV) peak heights are linear with DA concentration from 2 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−5 M. The detection limit is 5 × 10−7 M. More over, the interferences of ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) were effectively diminished. This work provides a simple and easy approach for selective determination of dopamine in the presence of ascorbic acid and uric acid.  相似文献

A novel ceria (CeO2)–ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) modified electrode for the sensitive amperometric determination of hydrazine was reported. CeO2–OMC composites were synthesized via a hydrothermal method at a relatively low temperature (180 °C) and characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microcopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The CeO2–OMC modified glassy carbon electrode was characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) and indicated good electrocatalytic effect to the oxidation of hydrazine. Under the optimized conditions, the present sensor could be used to measure hydrazine in wide linear range from 40 nM to 192 μM (R2 = 0.999) with a low detection limit of 12 nM (S/N = 3). Additionally, the sensor has been successfully applied to detect hydrazine in real water samples and the recoveries were between 98.2% and 105.6%. Eventually, the sensor exhibited an excellent stability and reproducibility as a promising method for determination of hydrazine.  相似文献

A facile synthesis of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and methionine film modified screen printed carbon electrode (rGO-methionine/SPCE) was proposed as a disposable sensor for determination of food colorants including amaranth, tartrazine, sunset yellow, and carminic acid. The fabrication process can be achieved in only 2 steps including drop-casting of rGO and electropolymerization of poly(L-methionine) film on SPCE. Surface morphology of modified electrode was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). This work showed a successfully developed novel disposable sensor for detection of all 4 dyes as food colorants. The electrochemical behavior of all 4 food colorants were investigated on modified electrodes. The rGO-methionine/SPCE significantly enhanced catalytic activity of all 4 dyes. The pH value and accumulation time were optimized to obtain optimal condition of each colorant. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was used for determination, and two linear detection ranges were observed for each dye. Linear detection ranges were found from 1 to 10 and 10 to 100 µM for amaranth, 1 to 10 and 10 to 85 µM for tartrazine, 1 to 10 and 10 to 50 µM for sunset yellow, and 1 to 20 and 20 to 60 µM for carminic acid. The limit of detection (LOD) was calculated at 57, 41, 48, and 36 nM for amaranth, tartrazine, sunset yellow, and carminic acid, respectively. In addition, the modified sensor also demonstrated high tolerance to interference substances, good repeatability, and high performance for real sample analysis.  相似文献

A multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs)-dihexadecyl hydrogen phosphate (DHP) film-coated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was fabricated, and the electrochemical behaviors of acyclovir on the MWNTs-DHP film-coated GCE were investigated by using cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and chronocoulometry (CC). The oxidation peak current of acyclovir increased significantly and the peak potential shifted negatively at the MWNTs-DHP film-modified GCE, compared with that at a bare GCE. The results showed that this nano-structured film electrode exhibited excellent enhancement effects on the electrochemical oxidation of acyclovir. Consequently, a simple and sensitive electroanalytical method was developed for the determination of acyclovir. The oxidation peak current was proportional to the concentration of acyclovir from 8.0 × 10−8 to 1.0 × 10−5 mol/L. The detection limit was about 3.0 × 10−8 mol/L for 60 s accumulation at 0.00 V. The proposed method was demonstrated by using acyclovir tablets and the result was satisfying.  相似文献

7,12-Dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA), is a widely studied polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon that has long been recognized as a very potent carcinogen. Initially, the electrochemical oxidation of DMBA at the glassy carbon and pencil graphite electrodes in non-aqueous media (dimethylsulphoxide with lithium perchlorate) was studied by cyclic voltammetry. DMBA was irreversibly oxidized in two steps at high positive potentials, resulting in the ill-resolved formation of a couple with a reduction and re-oxidation wave at much lower potentials. Special attention was given to the use of adsorptive stripping voltammetry together with a medium exchange procedure on disposable pencil graphite electrode in aqueous solutions over the pH range of 3.0-9.0. The response was characterized with respect to pH of the supporting electrolyte, pre-concentration time and accumulation potential. Using square-wave stripping mode, the compound yielded a well-defined voltammetric response in acetate buffer, pH 4.8 at +1.15 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) (a pre-concentration step being carried out at a fixed potential of +0.60 V for 360 s). The process could be used to determine DMBA concentrations in the range 2-10 nM, with an extremely low detection limit of 0.194 nM (49.7 ng L−1). The applicability to assay of spiked human urine samples was also illustrated. Finally, the interaction of DMBA with fish sperm double-stranded DNA based on decreasing of the oxidation signal of adenine base was studied electrochemically by using differential pulse voltammetry with a pencil graphite electrode at the surface and also in solution. The favorable signal-to-noise characteristics of biosensor resulted in low detection limit (ca. 46 nM) following a 300-s interaction. These results displayed that the electrochemical DNA-based biosensor could be used for the sensitive, rapid, simple and cost effective detection of DMBA-DNA interaction.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel electro-active graphene oxide (GO) nanocomposite was firstly prepared by covalently grafted (4-ferrocenylethyne) phenylamine (Fc-NH2) onto the surface of GO. The synthesized hybridized nanocomposite of GO-Fc-NH2 coupled with HAuCl4 simultaneously electrodeposited on the glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) to obtain rGO-Fc-NH2/AuNPs/GCE. The covalently grafted material of the rGO-Fc-NH2/AuNPs film can effectively prevent the electron mediator leaking from the electrode surface, which can hold the advantage of both the nanomaterials and electron mediator. By employing the catalysis effect of the nanomaterial and electron mediator coupling with large active surface area and high accumulation capacity of rGO-Fc-NH2/AuNPs, a synergetic signal amplification platform for ultra-sensitive detection of bisphenol A (BPA) was successfully established. With this novel sensor, the oxidation peak currents of BPA were linearly dependent on the BPA concentrations in the range of 0.005–10 μM with the detection limit of 2 nM. Modification of electron mediators on nanomaterials can greatly enhance the electrochemical performance of the sensors and will provide a new concept for fabricating newly electro-active nanomaterials-based electrochemical biosensors.  相似文献

Ordered mesoporous TiO2, synthesized by soft template method, coupled with graphene was used to modify a carbon paste electrode. The graphene layer was very thin and the mesoporous TiO2 particles were nano-scale, as confirmed by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Graphene and mesoporous TiO2 displayed remarkable enhancement effect and greatly increased the oxidation signals of two azo colorants, i.e., Ponceau 4R and Allura Red. The influence of electrolyte, scan rate, amount of graphene and mesoporous TiO2, accumulation potential, and time on the signal enhancement of Ponceau 4R and Allura Red was discussed, and therefore, a novel and sensitive electrochemical method was developed for the detection of Ponceau 4R and Allura Red. The linear range was wider than two order of magnitude for both of Ponceau 4R and Allura Red. The limit of detection for Ponceau 4R and Allura Red was 1.35 and 0.34 nM, respectively. Finally, this method was successfully applied in soft drink and sausage samples, which was confirmed by high-performance liquid chromatography technique.  相似文献

A novel and highly sensitive electrochemical system based on electrospun graphene/polyaniline/polystyrene (G/PANI/PS) nanofiber-modified screen-printed carbon electrodes has been developed for dopamine (DA) determination. A dramatic increase (9 times) in the current signal for the redox reaction of a standard, ferri/ferrocyanide [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− couple was found when compared to an unmodified electrode. This modified electrode also exhibited favorable electron transfer kinetics and excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of DA. When used together with square wave voltammetry (SWV), DA can be selectively determined in the presence of the common interferents (i.e. ascorbic acid and uric acid). Under optimal conditions, a very low limit of detection (0.05 nM) and limit of quantification (0.30 nM) were achieved for DA. In addition, a wide dynamic range of 0.1 nM to 100 μM was found for this electrode system. Finally, the system can be successfully applied to determine DA in complex biological environment (e.g. human serum, urine) with excellent reproducibility.  相似文献

In this work, we reported an efficient platinum nanoparticles functionalized nitrogen doped graphene (PtNPs@NG) nanocomposite for devising novel electrochemical glucose biosensor for the first time. The fabricated PtNPs@NG and biosensor were characterized using transmission electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, static water contact angle, UV–vis spectroscopy, electrochemical impedance spectra and cyclic voltammetry, respectively. PtNPs@NG showed large surface area and excellent biocompatibility, and enhanced the direct electron transfer between enzyme molecules and electrode surface. The glucose oxidase (GOx) immobilized on PtNPs@NG nanocomposite retained its bioactivity, and exhibited a surface controlled, quasi-reversible and fast electron transfer process. The constructed glucose biosensor showed wide linear range from 0.005 to 1.1 mM with high sensitivity of 20.31 mA M−1 cm−2. The detection limit was calculated to be 0.002 mM at signal-to-noise of 3, which showed 20-fold decrease in comparison with single NG-based electrochemical biosensor for glucose. The proposed glucose biosensor also demonstrated excellent selectivity, good reproducibility, acceptable stability, and could be successfully applied in the detection of glucose in serum samples at the applied potential of −0.33 V. This research provided a promising biosensing platform for the development of excellent electrochemical biosensors.  相似文献

An enhanced amperometric biosensor based on incorporating one kind of unique nanobiocomposite as dopant within an electropolymerized polypyrrole film has been investigated. The nanobiocomposite was synthesized by self-assembling glutamate dehydrogenase (GLDH) and poly(amidoamine) dendrimer-encapsulated platinum nanoparticles (Pt-DENs) onto multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs). ζ-Potentials and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) confirmed the uniform growth of the layer-by-layer nanostructures onto the carboxyl-functionalized CNTs. The size of Pt nanoparticles is approximately 3 nm. The (GLDH/Pt-DENs)n/CNTs/Ppy hybrid film was obtained by electropolymerization of pyrrole onto glassy carbon electrodes and characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), cyclic voltammetry (CV) and other electrochemical measurements. All methods indicated that the (GLDH/Pt-DENs)n/CNTs nanobiocomposites were entrapped within the porous polypyrrole film and resulted in a hybrid film that showed a high electrocatalytic ability toward the oxidation of glutamate at a potential 0.2 V versus Ag/AgCl. The biosensor shows performance characteristics with high sensitivity (51.48 μA mM−1), rapid response (within 3 s), low detection limit (about 10 nM), low level of interference and excellent reproducibility and stability.  相似文献

Optimized combination of chemical agents was selected for sensitive electrochemical detection of dissolved ruthenium tris-(2,2′-bipyridine) (Ru-bipy). The detection was based on the chemical amplification mechanism, in which the anodic current of a redox-active analyte was amplified by a sacrificial electron donor in solution. On indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) electrodes, electrochemical reaction of the analyte was reversible, but that of the electron donor was greatly suppressed. Several transition metal complexes, such as ferrocene and tris-(2,2′-bipyridine) complexes of osmium, iron and ruthenium, were evaluated as model analyte. A correlation between the amplified current and the standard potential of the complex was observed, and Ru-bipy generated the largest current. A variety of organic bases, acids and zwitterions were assessed as potential electron donor. Sodium oxalate was found to produce the largest amplification factor. With Ru-bipy as the model analyte and oxalate as the electron donor, the analyte concentration curve was linear up to 50 μM, with a lower detection limit of approximately 50 nM. Preliminary work was presented in which a Ru-bipy derivative was attached to bovine serum albumin and detected electrochemically. Although the combination of Ru-bipy, oxalate and ITO electrode has been used before for electrochemiluminescent detection of Ru-bipy and oxalate, as well as electrochemical detection of oxalate, its utility in amplified voltammetric detection of Ru-bipy as a potential electrochemical label has not been reported previously.  相似文献

One-pot green approach to the synthesis of Prussian blue nanocubes/reduced graphene oxide (PBNCs/RGO) nanocomposite had been attempted. It was based on the extract of mushroom with K3[Fe(CN)6] and graphene oxide (GO) as precursors, where the reduction of GO and the deposition of PBNCs occurred simultaneously. The obtained nanocomposite was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical techniques. With the introduction of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), the β-CD/PBNCs/RGO system showed linear behavior in the range from 0.01 to 700 μM for 4-nitrophenol with a low detection limit of 2.34 nM (S/N = 3).  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviors of guanosine on the ionic liquid of N-butylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate (BPPF6) modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) was studied in this paper and further used for guanosine detection. Guanosine showed an adsorption irreversible oxidation process on the carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) with the oxidation peak potential located at 1.12 V (vs. SCE) in a pH 4.5 Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution. Compared with that on the traditional carbon paste electrode, small shift of the oxidation peak potentials appeared but with a great increment of the oxidation peak current on the CILE, which was due to the presence of ionic liquid in the modified electrode adsorbed the guanosine on the surface and promoted the electrochemical response. The electrochemical parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α), the electron transfer number (n), and the electrode reaction standard rate constant (ks) were calculated as 0.74, 1.9 and 1.26 × 10−4 s−1, respectively. Under the optimal conditions the oxidation peak current showed a good linear relationship with the guanosine concentration in the range from 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol/L by cyclic voltammetry with the detection limit of 2.61 × 10−7 mol/L (3σ). The common coexisting substances showed no interferences to the guanosine oxidation. The CILE showed good ability to distinguish the electrochemical response of guanosine and guanine in the mixture solution. The urine samples were further detected by the proposed method with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The report described a method of more stably dispersing oxidized carbon nanotubes (CNTs) by forming complex with polycation and the layer-by-layer self-assembly behavior of the complex with polyanion was studied. The properties of the self-assembled multilayer film containing carbon nanotubes were studied. Cyclic voltammetry, UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used for characterization of film assembly. UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry study indicated the uniform growth of the film. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy results showed that incorporating of carbon nanotubes in the polyelectrolyte multilayers decreased in the electron-transfer resistance Rct, indicating more favorable electrochemical reaction interface. The electrocatalytic property of the multilayer modified electrode to NADH was investigated mainly with different numbers of the bilayers and the results showed that along with the increase of the assembled bilayers the overpotential of NADH oxidation decreased. The detection limit could reach 6 μM at a detection potential of 0.4 V.  相似文献

p-Nitrophenyl organophosphates (OPs) including paraoxon, parathion and methyl parathion, etc, are highly poisonous OPs, for which sensitive and rapid detection method is most needed. In this work, an ultrasensitive electrochemical sensor for the determination of p-nitrophenyl OPs was developed based on ordered mesoporous carbons (OMCs) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) (OMCs/GCE). The electrochemical behavior and reaction mechanism of p-nitrophenyl OPs at OMCs/GCE was elaborated by taking paraoxon as an example. Experimental conditions such as buffer pH, preconcentration potential and time were optimized. By using differential pulse voltammetry, the current response of the sensor at −0.085 V was linear with concentration within 0.01–1.00 μM and 1.00–20 μM paraoxon. Similar linear ranges of 0.015–0.5 μM and 0.5–10 μM were found for parathion, and 0.01–0.5 μM and 0.5–10 μM for methyl parathion. The low limits of detection were evaluated to be 1.9 nM for paraoxon, 3.4 nM for parathion and 2.1 nM for methyl parathion (S/N = 3). Common interfering species had no interference to the detection of p-nitrophenyl OPs. The sensor can be applicable to real samples measurement. Therefore, a simple, sensitive, reproducible and cost-effective electrochemical sensor was proposed for the fast direct determination of trace p-nitrophenyl OPs at low potential without deoxygenization.  相似文献

The utility of a simple, low-cost detection platform for label-free electrochemical characterization of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibition is demonstrated as a potential tool for screening of small-molecule therapeutic agents for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Technique validation was performed against the standard Ellman's colorimetric assay using the clinically established cholinesterase inhibitor (ChEI), Donepezil (Aricept®). Electrochemical measurements were obtained by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) performed using a portable potentiostat system for detection of the enzymatic product, thiocholine (TCh), by direct oxidation on unmodified gold screen-printed electrodes. The IC50 profiles for Donepezil measured in vitro were found to be comparable between both colorimetric and electrochemical detection methods for the analysis of purified human erythrocyte-derived AChE (28 ± 7 nM by DPV; 26 ± 8 nM by Ellman's method). The selectivity of this unmodified electrode system was compared to a range of biological sulfur-containing compounds including cysteine, homocysteine, glutathione and methionine as well as ascorbic acid. Preliminary studies also demonstrated the potential applicability of this electrochemical technique for the analysis of Donepezil in crude cholinesterase samples from anterior cortex homogenates of C57BL/6J mice.  相似文献

A boron dipyrromethene (BODIPY)-based fluorometric probe, HCS, has been successfully developed for the highly sensitive and selective detection of hypochlorous acid (HOCl). The probe is based on the specific HOCl-promoted oxidation of methyl phenyl sulfide. The reaction is accompanied by a 160-fold increase in the fluorescent quantum yield (from 0.003 to 0.480). The fluorescent turn-on mechanism is accomplished by suppression of photoinduced electron transfer (PET) from the methyl phenyl sulfide group to BODIPY. The fluorescence intensity of the reaction between HOCl and HCS shows a good linearity in the HOCl concentration range 1–10 μM. The detection limit is 23.7 nM (S/N = 3). In addition, confocal fluorescence microscopy imaging using RAW264.7 macrophages demonstrates that the HCS probe could be an efficient fluorescent detector for HOCl in living cells.  相似文献

Fluorine tin oxide (FTO) electrode modified by copper oxide microfibers (CuO-MFs) composed of numerous interconnected CuO nanoparticles (CuO-NPs) for nonenzymatic glucose sensor was prepared by electrospinning precursor containing high percentage content of copper nitrate with subsequent calcination. The results of scanning electron microscope (SEM) showed the size of CuO particles composing CuO-MFs depended on the percentage content of copper nitrate in precursor solution. With increasing the percentage content of copper nitrate, the interconnected CuO-NPs would gradually replace the large-size CuO particles to accumulate the CuO-MFs, which have the potential to provide larger surface area and more reaction sites for electrocatalytic activity toward glucose. As a glucose sensor, the CuO-MFs modified FTO electrode prepared by 40 wt.% of copper nitrate exhibited a high sensitivity of 2321 μA mM−1 cm−2 with a low detection limit of 2.2 nM (signal/noise ratio (S/N) = 3). Additionally, the application of the CuO-MFs modified FTO electrode as a glucose sensor for biological samples was demonstrated with satisfactory results.  相似文献
