We describe non-trivial δ-derivations of semisimple finite-dimensional Jordan algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic not 2, and of simple finite-dimensional Jordan superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0. For these classes of algebras and superalgebras, non-zero δ-derivations are shown to be missing for δ ≠ 0, 1/2, 1, and we give a complete account of 1/2-derivations. We develop the notion of Jordan bialgebras and study the way in which such are related to Lie bialgebras. In particular, it is shown that if a Lie algebra L(J) obtained from a Jordan algebra J by applying the Kantor-Koecher-Tits construction admits the structure of a Lie bialgebra, under some natural constraints, then, J permits the structure of a Jordan algebra. The relationship between Jordan and Lie coalgebras is established. We prove that from any Jordan coalgebra 〈L(A), Δ〉, it is possible to construct a Lie coalgebra 〈L(A), ΔL〉. Moreover, any dual algebra of the coalgebra 〈L(A), ΔL〉 corresponds to a Lie algebra that can be determined from the dual algebra for (A, Δ), following the Kantor-Koecher-Tits process. A new method of constructing quasitriangular group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras is provided. For a multiplier Hopf dual pairing σ between regular multiplier Hopf algebras A and B, we introduce the concept of a σ-compatible pairing (Φ, Ψ, σ ), where Φ and Ψ are actions of the twisted semi-direct group of a group G on A and B, respectively. We construct a twisted double group-cograded multiplier Hopf algbera D(A, B; σ, Φ, Ψ). Furthermore, if there is a canonical multiplier in M(B ⊗ A) we show existence of quasitriangular structure on D(A, B; σ, Φ, Ψ). As an application, special cases and examples are given.  相似文献

The paper is concerned with the semisimplicity of smash products of quasitriangular weak Hopf algebras. Let (H,R) be a finite dimensional quasitriangular weak Hopf algebra over a field k and A any semisimple and quantum commutative weak H-module algebra. Based on the work of Nikshych et al. (Topol. Appl. 127(1–2):91–123, 2003), we give Maschke’s theorem for smash products of quasitriangular weak Hopf algebras, stating that A#H is semisimple if and only if A is a projective left A#H-module, which extends the Theorem 3.2 given in Yang and Wang (Commun. Algebra 27(3):1165–1170, 1999).  相似文献

In this paper we prove that the local algebras of a simple Jordan pair are simple. Jordan pairs all of which local algebras are simple are also studied, showing that they have a nonzero simple heart, which is described in terms of powers of the original pair. Similar results are given for Jordan triple systems and algebras. Finally, we characterize the inner ideals of a simple pair which determine simple subquotients, answering the question posed by O. Loos and E. Neher (1994, J. Algebra166, 255–295).  相似文献

Let Φ be an associative commutative ring with unity, 1/6 ∈ Φ, write A for a Mal’tsev algebra over Φ, suppose that on A, the function h(y, z, t, x, x)=2[{yz, t, x}x+{yx, z, x}t], where {x, y, z}=(xy)z−(xz)y+2x(yz), is defined, and assume that H(A) is a fully invariant ideal of A generated by the function h. The algebra A satisfying an identity h(y, z, x, x, x)=0 [h(y, z, t, x, x)=0] is called a Mal’tsev h0-algebra (h-algebra). We prove that in any Mal’tsev h0-algebra, the inclusion H(A)·A2Ann A holds withAnnA the annihilator of A. This means that any semiprime h0-algebra A is an h-algebra. Every prime h0-algebra A is a central simple algebra over the quotient field Λ of the center of its algebra of right multiplications, R(A), and is either a 7-dimensional non-Lie algebra or a 3-dimensional Lie algebra over Λ. We describe Novikov-Poisson algebras in which a Novikov algebra is not simple while its corresponding associative commutative derivation algebra is differentially simple. In particular, it is proved that a Novikov algebra is simple over a field of characteristic not 2 iff its associative commutative derivation algebra is differentially simple. The relationship is established between Novikov-Poisson algebras and Jordan superalgebras. We deal with adjoint commutator and Jordan algebras of isotopes of prime strictly (1, 1)-algebras. It is proved that a system of identities of the form [x 1, x 2, x 2, x 3,…, x n ] for n = 2,., 5 is discernible on isotopes of prime (−1, 1)-algebras. Also it is shown that adjoint Jordan algebras for suitable isotopes of prime (−1, 1)-algebras may possess distinct sets of identities. In particular, isotopes of a prime Jordan monster have different sets of identities in general.  相似文献

It is observed that the additive as well as multiplicative Jordan decompositions hold in alternative loop algebras of finiteRA loops and theRA loops for which the additive Jordan decomposition holds in the integral loop ring are characterized. Multiplicative Jordan decomposition (MJD) inZL, whereL is a finiteRA loop with cyclic centre is analysed, besides settling MJD for integral loop rings of allRA loops of order ≤32. We study the quasitriangular structures for a family of pointed Hopf algebras which is big enough to include Taft's Hopf algebras H n 2, Radford's Hopf algebras H N,n,q, and E(n). We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the Hopf algebras in our family to be quasitriangular. For the case when they are, we determine completely all the quasitriangular structures. Also, we determine the ribbon elements of the quasitriangular Hopf algebras and the quasi-ribbon elements of their Drinfel'd double.  相似文献

Motivated by the equivalence of the strict semimonotonicity property of the matrix A and the uniqueness of the solution to the linear complementarity problem LCP(A,q) for qR + n , we study the strict semimonotonicity (SSM) property of linear transformations on Euclidean Jordan algebras. Specifically, we show that, under the copositive condition, the SSM property is equivalent to the uniqueness of the solution to LCP(L,q) for all q in the symmetric cone K. We give a characterization of the uniqueness of the solution to LCP(L,q) for a Z transformation on the Lorentz cone ℒ+ n . The object of the paper is to prove the following results: (a) If f is q.c. and ∂Ω, ∂Ω1C 1,μ , then f is Lipschitz; (b) if f is q.c., ∂Ω, ∂Ω1C 1,μ and Ω1 is convex, then f is bi-Lipschitz; and (c) if Ω is the unit disk, Ω1 is convex, and ∂Ω1C 1,μ , then f is quasiconformal if and only if its boundary function is bi-Lipschitz and the Hilbert transform of its derivative is in L .
