A neutral {Fe(NO)2}9 dinitrosyliron complex (DNIC) [(SC6H4-o-NHCOPh)(Im)Fe(NO)2] (Im = imidazole; 2) was prepared by the reaction of [Fe(mu-SC6H4-o-NHCOPh)(NO)2]2 (1) and 2 equiv of imidazole. In the synthesis of the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNIC [(SC6H4-o-NHCOPh)2Fe(NO)2]- (3), thiolate [SC6H4-o-NHCOPh]- triggers ligand substitution of DNIC 2 to yield DNIC 3. At 298 K, complexes 2 and 3 exhibit well-resolved nine- and five-line electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) signals at g = 2.031 and 2.029, respectively, the characteristic g value of DNICs. The facile interconversions among the neutral {Fe(NO)2}9 complex 2, the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 complex 3, and Roussin's red ester 1 were demonstrated. The EPR spectrum (the pattern of hyperfine splitting) in combination with the IR nu(NO) (the relative position of the nu(NO) stretching frequencies) spectrum may serve as an efficient tool for the discrimination of the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs, the neutral {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs, and Roussin's red ester.  相似文献

Nitrosylation of the biomimetic reduced- and oxidized-form rubredoxin [Fe(SR)4]2-/1- (R = Ph, Et) in a 1:1 stoichiometry led to the formation of the extremely air- and light-sensitive mononitrosyl tris(thiolate) iron complexes (MNICs) [Fe(NO)(SR)3]- along with byproducts [SR]- or (RS)2. Transformation of [Fe(NO)(SR)3]- into dinitrosyl iron complexes (DNICs) [(RS)2Fe(NO)2]- and Roussin's red ester [Fe2(mu-SR)2(NO)4] occurs rapidly under addition of 1 equiv of NO(g) and [NO]+, respectively. Obviously, the mononitrosyl tris(thiolate) complex [Fe(NO)(SR)3]- acts as an intermediate when the biomimetic oxidized- and reduced-form rubredoxin [Fe(SR)4]2-/1- exposed to NO(g) were modified to form dinitrosyl iron complexes [(RS)2Fe(NO)2]-. Presumably, NO binding to the electron-deficient [Fe(III)(SR)4]- and [Fe(III)(NO)(SR)3]- complexes triggers reductive elimination of dialkyl/diphenyl disulfide, while binding of NO radical to the reduced-form [Fe(II)(SR)4]2- induces the thiolate-ligand elimination. Protonation of [Fe(NO)(SEt)3]- yielding [Fe(NO)(SPh)3]- by adding 3 equiv of thiophenol and transformation of [Fe(NO)(SPh)3]- to [Fe(NO)(SEt)3]- in the presence of 3 equiv of [SEt]-, respectively, demonstrated that complexes [Fe(NO)(SPh)3]- and [Fe(NO)(SEt)3]- are chemically interconvertible. Mononitrosyl tris(thiolate) iron complex [Fe(NO)(SPh)3]- and dinitrosyl iron complex [(EtS)2Fe(NO)2]- were isolated and characterized by X-ray diffraction. The mean NO bond distances of 1.181(7) A (or 1.191(7) A) in complex [(EtS)2Fe(NO)2]- are nearly at the upper end of the 1.178(3)-1.160(6) A for the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs, while the mean FeN(O) distances of 1.674(6) A (or 1.679(6) A) exactly fall in the range of 1.695(3)-1.661(4) A for the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs.  相似文献

Addition of the Lewis base [OPh]- to the THF solution of Roussin's red ester [Fe(mu-SC6H4-o-NHCOPh)(NO)2]2 (1) and [Fe(mu-SC6H4-o-COOH)(NO)2]2 (2), respectively, yielded the EPR-active, anionic {Fe(NO)2}9, [(SC6H4-o-NCOPh)Fe(NO)2]- (3) with the anionic [SC6H4-o-NCOPh]2- ligand bound to the {Fe(NO)2} core in a bidentate manner (S,N-bonded) and [(SC6H4-o-COO)Fe(NO)2]- (4) with the anionic [SC6H4-o-COO]2- ligand bound to the {Fe(NO)2} core in a bidentate manner (S,O-bonded), characterized by IR, UV-vis, EPR, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In contrast to the bridged-thiolate cleavage yielding the neutral {Fe(NO)2}9, [(SC6H4-o-NHCOPh)(Im)Fe(NO)2] (Im=imidazole), by addition of 2 equiv of imidazole to complex 1 observed in the previous study, the addition of the stronger sigma-donating and pi-accepting PPh3 ligand triggered the reductive elimination of bridged thiolates of complex 1 to yield the neutral {Fe(NO)2}10, [(PPh3)2Fe(NO)2]. These results unambiguously illustrate one aspect of how the nucleophile L (L=imidazole, PPh3, [OPh]-) functions to control the reaction pathways (bridged-thiolate cleavage, reductive elimination, and deprotonation) upon the reaction of complex 1 and the nucleophile L. The EPR-active, dimeric {Fe(NO)2}9 dinitrosyl iron complex (DNIC) [Fe(mu-SC7H4SN)(NO)2]2 (6), with S and N atoms of the anionic [-SC7H4SN-]- (2-benzothiozolyl thiolate) ligands bound to two separate {Fe(NO)2}9 cores, was also synthesized from reaction of bis(2-benzothiozolyl) disulfide and [(NO)2Fe(PPh3)2]. A straightforward reaction of complex 6 and 4 equiv of [N3]- conducted in THF led to the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9, [(N3)2Fe(NO)2]- (7). Conclusively, the EPR-active, {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs can be classified into the anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs with S/N/O ligation, the neutral {Fe(NO)2}9 DNIC with one thiolate and one neutral imidazole ligation, and the cationic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs with the neutral N-/P-containing coordinated ligands.  相似文献

Reaction of Fe(CO)2(NO)2 and sparteine/tetramethylethylenediamine (TMEDA) in tetrahydrofuran afforded the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR)-silent, neutral {Fe(NO)2}10 dinitrosyliron complexes (DNICs) [(sparteine)Fe(NO)2] (1) and [(TMEDA)Fe(NO)2] (2), respectively. The stable and isolable anionic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNIC [(S(CH2)3S)Fe(NO)2]- (4), with a bidentate alkylthiolate coordinated to a {Fe(NO)(2)} motif, was prepared by the reaction of [S(CH2)3S]2- and the cationic {Fe(NO)2}9 [(sparteine)Fe(NO)2]+ (3) obtained from the reaction of complex 1 and [NO][BF4] in CH(3)CN. Transformation from the neutral complex 1 to the anionic complex 4 was verified via the cationic complex 3. Here complex 3 acts as an {Fe(NO)2}-donor reagent in the presence of thiolates. The EPR spectra of complexes 3 and 4 exhibit an isotropic signal with g = 2.032 and 2.031 at 298 K, respectively, the characteristic g value of {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs. On the basis of N-O/Fe-N(O) bond lengths of the single-crystal X-ray structures of the {Fe(NO)2}9/{Fe(NO)2}10 DNICs, the oxidation level of the {Fe(NO)2} core of DNICs can be unambiguously assigned. The mean N-O distances falling in the range of 1.214(6)-1.189(4) A and the Fe-N(O) bond distances in the range of 1.650(7)-1.638(3) A are assigned as the neutral {Fe(NO)(2)}(10) DNICs. In contrast, the mean N-O bond distances ranging from 1.178(3) to 1.160(6) A and the mean Fe-N(O) bond distances ranging from 1.695(3) to 1.661(4) A are assigned as the anionic/neutral/cationic {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs. In addition, an EPR spectrum in combination with the IR nu(NO) (the relative position of the nu(NO) stretching frequencies and their difference Deltanu(NO)) spectrum may serve as an efficient tool for discrimination of the existence of the anionic/cationic/neutral {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs and the neutral {Fe(NO)2}10 DNICs.  相似文献

The reversible redox transformations [(NO)(2)Fe(S(t)Bu)(2)](-) ? [Fe(μ-S(t)Bu)(NO)(2)](2)(2-) ? [Fe(μ-S(t)Bu)(NO)(2)](2)(-) ? [Fe(μ-S(t)Bu)(NO)(2)](2) and [cation][(NO)(2)Fe(SEt)(2)] ? [cation](2)[(NO)(2)Fe(SEt)(2)] (cation = K(+)-18-crown-6 ether) are demonstrated. The countercation of the {Fe(NO)(2)}(9) dinitrosyliron complexes (DNICs) functions to control the formation of the {Fe(NO)(2)}(10){Fe(NO)(2)}(10) dianionic reduced Roussin's red ester (RRE) [PPN](2)[Fe(μ-SR)(NO)(2)](2) or the {Fe(NO)(2)}(10) dianionic reduced monomeric DNIC [K(+)-18-crown-6 ether](2)[(NO)(2)Fe(SR)(2)] upon reduction of the {Fe(NO)(2)}(9) DNICs [cation][(NO)(2)Fe(SR)(2)] (cation = PPN(+), K(+)-18-crown-6 ether; R = alkyl). The binding preference of ligands [OPh](-)/[SR](-) toward the {Fe(NO)(2)}(10){Fe(NO)(2)}(10) motif of dianionic reduced RRE follows the ligand-displacement series [SR](-) > [OPh](-). Compared to the Fe K-edge preedge energy falling within the range of 7113.6-7113.8 eV for the dinuclear {Fe(NO)(2)}(9){Fe(NO)(2)}(9) DNICs and 7113.4-7113.8 eV for the mononuclear {Fe(NO)(2)}(9) DNICs, the {Fe(NO)(2)}(10) dianionic reduced monomeric DNICs and the {Fe(NO)(2)}(10){Fe(NO)(2)}(10) dianionic reduced RREs containing S/O/N-ligation modes display the characteristic preedge energy 7113.1-7113.3 eV, which may be adopted to probe the formation of the EPR-silent {Fe(NO)(2)}(10)-{Fe(NO)(2)}(10) dianionic reduced RREs and {Fe(NO)(2)}(10) dianionic reduced monomeric DNICs in biology. In addition to the characteristic Fe/S K-edge preedge energy, the IR ν(NO) spectra may also be adopted to characterize and discriminate [(NO)(2)Fe(μ-S(t)Bu)](2) [IR ν(NO) 1809 vw, 1778 s, 1753 s cm(-1) (KBr)], [Fe(μ-S(t)Bu)(NO)(2)](2)(-) [IR ν(NO) 1674 s, 1651 s cm(-1) (KBr)], [Fe(μ-S(t)Bu)(NO)(2)](2)(2-) [IR ν(NO) 1637 m, 1613 s, 1578 s, 1567 s cm(-1) (KBr)], and [K-18-crown-6 ether](2)[(NO)(2)Fe(SEt)(2)] [IR ν(NO) 1604 s, 1560 s cm(-1) (KBr)].  相似文献

The reactivity of the metalloligand [Pt2(micro-S)2(PPh3)4] towards a variety of copper(II)-ligand systems has been studied. Reaction of [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4] with copper(II) halide complexes [CuCl2L](L = 2,2'-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline) gave trinuclear dicationic products [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4CuL]2+, and the 8-hydroxyquinolinate (hq) complex [Cu(hq)2] gave [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4Cu(hq)]+, isolated as their BPh4- or PF6- salts. Related cationic complexes with other ancillary amine ligands (1,2-diaminoethane, 1,2-diaminopropane, 1,2-diaminocyclohexane) were obtained by reactions of [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4] with CuCl2 and the amine. In contrast, reaction of [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4] with CuCl2 and NH3 in methanol gave the intensely blue methoxy-bridged dicopper complex [{Pt(2)(mu-S)2(PPh3)4Cu(OMe)}2]2+, isolated as its hexafluorophosphate salt. Copper beta-diketonate complexes reacted with [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4] giving [Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4Cu(beta-diketonate)]+PF6- complexes, with the CH3COCHCOCH3(acac) and CF3COCHCO(2-thienyl)(tta) derivatives characterised by X-ray structure determinations. The local Cu(II) environment ranges from distorted square-planar to an intermediate form of square-planar and tetrahedral. The beta-diketonate derivatives show varying stability towards methanolysis, giving [{Pt2(mu-S)2(PPh3)4Cu(OMe)}2]2+.  相似文献

The anionic {Fe(NO)2}(9) DNIC[(NO)2Fe(C3H3N2)2](-) (2) (C3H3N2 = deprotonated imidazole) containing the deprotonated imidazole-coordinated ligands and DNICs [(NO)2Fe(C3H3N2)(SR)](-) (R = (t)Bu(3), Et(4), Ph(5)) containing the mixed deprotonated imidazole-thiolate coordinated ligands, respectively, were synthesized by thiol protonation or thiolate(s) ligand-exchange reaction. The anionic {Fe(NO)2}(9) DNICs 2- 5 were characterized by IR, UV-vis, EPR, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The facile transformation among the anionic {Fe(NO)2}(9) DNICs 2- 5 and [(NO)2Fe(S(t)Bu)2](-)/[(NO)2Fe(SEt)2](-)/[(NO)2Fe(SPh)2](-) was demonstrated in this systematic study. Of importance, the distinct electron-donating ability of thiolates serve to regulate the stability of the anionic {Fe(NO)2}(9) DNICs and the ligand-substitution reactions of DNICs. At 298 K, DNIC 2 exhibits the nine-line EPR signal with g = 2.027 (aN(NO) = 2.20 and aN(Im-H) = 3.15 G; Im-H = deprotonated imidazole) and DNIC 3 displays the nine-line signals with g = 2.027 (aN(NO) = 2.35 and aN(Im-H) = 4.10 G). Interestingly, the EPR spectrum of complex 4 exhibits a well-resolved 11-line pattern with g = 2.027 (aN(NO) = 2.50, aN(Im-H) = 4.10 G, and aH = 1.55 G) at 298 K. The EPR spectra (the pattern of hyperfine splitting) in combination with IR nu NO spectra (DeltanuNO = the separation of NO stretching frequencies, DeltanuNO = approximately 62 cm (-1) for 2 vs approximately 50 cm(-1) for 3- 5 vs approximately 43 cm(-1) for [(NO)2Fe(S(t)Bu)2](-)/[(NO)2Fe(SEt)2](-)/[(NO)2Fe(SPh)2](-)) may serve as an efficient tool for the discrimination of the existence of the anionic {Fe(NO)2}(9) DNICs containing the different ligations [N,N]/[N,S]/[S,S].  相似文献

Depending on the synthetic conditions, five heterometallic Mn(III)Fe(II) polynuclear compounds with the same ratio of constituents, 2[Mn(acacen)](+)/[Fe(CN)(5)NO](2-), of different nuclearity and dimensionality (0D, 1D, 2D) were isolated. A [Mn(acacen)MeOH](2)[Fe(CN)(5)NO]·1.5MeOH, 1 complex has been prepared by reaction of Mn(III)/Schiff base (SB) complex, [Mn(acacen)Cl] (H(2)acacen is N,N'-ethylenebis(acetylacetoneimine)) with sodium nitroprusside (NP). Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that crystallization of 1 from coordinating or non-coordinating solvents results in different coordination polynuclear materials: from C(2)H(5)OH [{Mn(acacen)H(2)O}(2)Fe(CN)(5)NO]·C(2)H(5)OH, 2, a trinuclear complex is formed; from CH(3)CN [{Mn(acacen)H(2)O}(4)Fe(CN)(5)NO][Fe(CN)(5)NO]·4CH(3)CN, an ionic compound with a pentanuclear bimetallic cation is formed 3; from i-C(3)H(7)OH [{Mn(acacen)}(2)(i-PrOH)Fe(CN)(5)NO](n), a coordination chain polymer 4 is formed; from toluene [{Mn(acacen)}(2)Fe(CN)(5)NO](n), a layered network 5 is formed. As the magnetic measurements show, for all compounds the weak interaction between Mn(III)S = 2 spins through the NP bridge is antiferromagnetic and exhibits no significant photoactivity.  相似文献

The neutral square-planar complexes [Pt(RNH2)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2] (R = H, 1; Et, 2) and [Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2] (DACH = 1,2-diaminocyclohexane, 3) act as metalloligands and make bonds to closed-shell Tl(I) ions to afford one- and two-dimensional platinum-thallium oligomers or polymers based on heterobimetallic backbones. A series of heteronuclear platinum(II)-thallium(I) complexes have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures of the Pt-Tl compounds resulted from [Pt(RNH2)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2] and TlX [X = NO3(-), ClO4(-), PF6(-), and Cp2Fe(CO2)2(2-)] are dependent on both counteranions and the amine substituents. The compounds [Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2Tl]X (X = NO3(-), 8; ClO4(-), 9) adopt one-dimensional zigzag chain structures consisting of repeatedly stacked [Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2Tl]+ units, whereas [{Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl2]X2 (X = PF6(-), 10) consists of a helical chain. Compound 3 reacts with Tl+ to give [{Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl](NO3) x [Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2] x 3 H2O (14) and one-dimensional polymeric [{Pt(DACH)(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl2]X2 (X = ClO4(-), 15; PF6(-), 16). Reactions of [Pt(DACH)(NHCOCH3)2] with Tl+ ions afford one-dimensional coordination polymers [{Pt(DACH)(NHCOCH3)2}2Tl2]X2 (X = NO3(-), 17; ClO4(-), 18; PF6(-), 19). The polymeric [{Pt(DACH)(NHCOR')2}2Tl2]2+ (R = CH3, (t)Bu) complexes adopt helical structures, which are generated around the crystallographic 2(1) screw axis. The distance between the coils corresponds to the unit cell length, which ranges from 22.58 to 22.68 A. The platinum-thallium bond distances fall in a narrow range around 3.0 A. The complexes derived from [Pt(NH3)2(NHCO(t)Bu)2] are luminescent at 77 K. The trinuclear complexes [{Pt(RNH2)(NHCO(t)Bu)2}2Tl]+ do not emit at room temperature but are emissive at 77 K, whereas the polymeric platinum-thallium complexes containing 1,2-diaminocyclohexane are intensively luminescent at both room temperature and 77 K. The color variations are interesting; 15 exhibits intense yellow-green, 16 exhibits green, and 17-19 exhibit blue luminescence. The presence of bonding between platinum and thallium is supported by the short metal-metal separations and the strong low-energy luminescence of these compounds in their solid states.  相似文献

Dinitrosyl-iron complexes (DNICs) are stable carriers for nitric oxide (NO), an important biological signaling molecule and regulator. However, the insolubility of synthetic DNICs, such as Roussin's red ester (RRE), in water has impaired efforts to unravel their biological functions. Here, we report a water-soluble and structurally well-characterized RRE [Fe(mu-SC2H4COOH)(NO)2]2 (DNIC-1) and a {Fe(NO)2}(10) DNIC [(PPh2(Ph-3-SO3Na))2Fe(NO)2] (DNIC-2), their NO-induced protein regulation, and their cellular uptake mechanism using immortalized vascular endothelial cells as a model. Compared with the most common NO donor, S-nitroso-N-acetyl-penicillamine (SNAP), the in vitro NO release assay showed that both DNICs acted as much slower yet higher stoichiometric NO-release agents with low cytotoxicity (IC50 > 1 mM). Furthermore, L-cysteine facilitated NO release from SNAP and DNIC-1, but not DNIC-2, in a dose- and time-dependent manner. EPR spectroscopic analysis showed, for the first time, that intact DNIC-1 can either diffuse or be transported into cells independently and can transform to either paramagnetic protein bound DNIC in the presence of serum or [DNIC-(Cys)2] with excess L-cysteine under serum-free conditions. Both DNICs subsequently induced NO-dependent upregulation of cellular heat shock protein 70 and in vivo protein S-nitrosylation. We conclude that both novel water-soluble DNICs have potential to release physiologically relevant quantities of NO and can be a good model for deciphering how iron-sulfur-nitrosyl compounds permeate into the cell membrane and for elucidating their physiological significance.  相似文献

S‐Nitrosation of the coordinated thiolate of dinitrosyl iron complexes (DNICs) to generate S‐nitrosothiols (RSNOs) was demonstrated. Transformation of [{(NO)2Fe(μ‐StBu)}2] ( 1‐tBuS ) into the {Fe(NO)2}9 DNIC [(NO)2Fe(StBu)(MeIm)] ( 2‐MeIm ) occurs under addition of 20 equiv of 1‐methylimidazole (MeIm) into a solution of 1‐tBuS in THF. The dynamic interconversion between {Fe(NO)2}9 [(NO)2Fe(S‐NAP)(dmso)] ( 2‐dmso ) (NAP=N‐acetyl‐D ‐penicillamine) and [{(NO)2Fe(μ‐S‐NAP)}2] ( 1‐NAP ) was also observed in a solution of complex 1‐NAP in DMSO. In contrast to the reaction of complex 2‐MeIm and bis(dimethylthiocarbamoyl) disulfide ((DTC)2) to yield {Fe(NO)}7 [(NO)Fe(DTC)2] ( 3 ) (DTC=S2CNMe2) accompanied by (tBuS)2 and NO(g), transformation of {Fe(NO)2}9 2‐MeIm ( 2‐dmso ) into RSNOs (RS=tBuS, NAP‐S) along with complex 3 induced by the Brønsted acid solution of (DTC)2 demonstrated that Brønsted acid may play a critical role in triggering S‐nitrosation of the coordinated thiolate of DNICs 2‐MeIm (or 2‐dmso ) to produce RSNOs. That is, DNIC‐mediated S‐nitrosation requires a Brønsted acid–Lewis base pair to produce RSNO. Transformation of DNICs into RSNOs may only occur on the one‐thiolate‐containing {Fe(NO)2}9 DNICs, in contrast to protonation of the two‐thiolate‐containing DNICs [(NO)2Fe(SR)2]? by Brønsted acid to yield [{(NO)2Fe(μ‐SR)}2]. These results might rationalize that the known protein‐Cys‐SNO sites derived from DNICs were located adjacent to acid and base motifs, and no protein‐bound SNO characterized to date has been directly derived from [protein–(cysteine)2Fe(NO)2] in biology.  相似文献

Dinuclear iron(II)-cyanocarbonyl complex [PPN](2)[Fe(CN)(2)(CO)(2)(mu-SEt)](2) (1) was prepared by the reaction of [PPN][FeBr(CN)(2)(CO)(3)] and [Na][SEt] in THF at ambient temperature. Reaction of complex 1 with [PPN][SEt] produced the triply thiolate-bridged dinuclear Fe(II) complex [PPN][(CN)(CO)(2)Fe(mu-SEt)(3)Fe(CO)(2)(CN)] (2) with the torsion angle of two CN(-) groups (C(5)N(2) and C(3)N(1)) being 126.9 degrees. The extrusion of two sigma-donor CN(-) ligands from Fe(II)Fe(II) centers of complex 1 as a result of the reaction of complex 1 and [PPN][SEt] reflects the electron-rich character of the dinuclear iron(II) when ligated by the third bridging ethylthiolate. The Fe-S distances (2.338(2) and 2.320(3) A for complexes 1 and 2, respectively) do not change significantly, but the Fe(II)-Fe(II) distance contracts from 3.505 A in complex 1 to 3.073 A in complex 2. The considerably longer Fe(II)-Fe(II) distance of 3.073 A in complex 2, compared to the reported Fe-Fe distances of 2.6/2.62 A in DdHase and CpHase, was attributed to the presence of the third bridging ethylthiolate, instead of pi-accepting CO-bridged ligand as observed in [Fe] hydrogenases. Additionally, in a compound of unusual composition ([Na.(5)/(2)H(2)O][(CN)(CO)(2)Fe(mu-SEt)(3)Fe(CO)(2)(CN)])(n)((1)/(2)O(Et)(2))(n) (3), the Na(+) cations and H(2)O molecules combining with dinuclear [(CN)(CO)(2)Fe(mu-SEt)(3)Fe(CO)(2)(CN)](-) anions create a polymeric framework wherein two CN(-) ligands are coordinated via CN(-)-Na(+)/CN(-)-(Na(+))(2) linkages, respectively.  相似文献

Treatment of [Cp*IrH(SH)(PMe3)] (Cp* = eta5-C5Me5) with [IrCl2(NO)(PPh3)2] in the presence of triethylamine yielded the sulfido-bridged Ir(II)Ir0 complex [Cp*Ir(PMe3)(mu-S)Ir(NO)(PPh3)], which further reacted with I2 and triflic acid to give the diiodo complex [Cp*Ir(PMe3)(mu-I)(mu-S)IrI(NO)(PPh3)] and the hydrido complex [Cp*Ir(PMe3)(mu-H)(mu-S)Ir(NO)(PPh3)][OSO2CF3], respectively.  相似文献

The photochemistry of various Roussin's red ester compounds of the general formula Fe(2)(SR)(2)(NO)(4), where R = CH(3), CH(2)CH(3), CH(2)C(6)H(5), CH(2)CH(2)OH, and CH(2)CH(2)SO(3)(-), were investigated. Continuous photolyses of these ester compounds in aerated solutions led to the release of NO with moderate quantum yields for the photodecomposition of the ester (Phi(RSE) = 0.02-0.13). Electrochemical studies using an NO electrode demonstrated that 4 mol of NO are generated for each mole of ester undergoing photodecomposition. Nanosecond flash photolysis studies of Fe(2)(SR)(2)(NO)(4) (where R = CH(2)CH(2)OH and CH(2)CH(2)SO(3)(-)) indicate that the initial photoreaction is the reversible dissociation of NO. In the absence of oxygen, the presumed intermediate, Fe(2)(SR)(2)(NO)(3), undergoes second-order reaction with NO to regenerate the parent cluster with a rate constant of k(NO) = 1.1 x 10(9) M(-1) s(-1) for R = CH(2)CH(2)OH. Under aerated conditions the intermediate reacts with oxygen to give permanent photochemistry.  相似文献

The interaction of nitric oxide (NO) with iron-sulfur cluster proteins results in degradation and breakdown of the cluster to generate dinitrosyl iron complexes (DNICs). In some cases the formation of DNICs from such cluster systems can lead to activation of a regulatory pathway or the loss of enzyme activity. In order to understand the basic chemistry underlying these processes, we have investigated the reactions of NO with synthetic [2Fe-2S] and [4Fe-4S] clusters. Reaction of excess NO(g) with solutions of [Fe2S2(SR)4](2-) (R = Ph, p-tolyl (4-MeC6H4), or 1/2 (CH2)2-o-C6H4) cleanly affords the respective DNIC, [Fe(NO)2(SR)2](-), with concomitant reductive elimination of the bridging sulfide ligands as elemental sulfur. The structure of (Et4N)[Fe(NO)2(S-p-tolyl)2] was verified by X-ray crystallography. Reactions of the [4Fe-4S] clusters, [Fe4S4(SR)4](2-) (R = Ph, CH2Ph, (t)Bu, or 1/2 (CH2)-m-C6H4) proceed in the absence of added thiolate to yield Roussin's black salt, [Fe4S3(NO)7](-). In contrast, (Et4N)2[Fe4S4(SPh)4] reacts with NO(g) in the presence of 4 equiv of (Et4N)(SPh) to yield the expected DNIC. For all reactions, we could reproduce the chemistry effected by NO(g) with the use of trityl-S-nitrosothiol (Ph3CSNO) as the nitric oxide source. These results demonstrate possible pathways for the reaction of iron-sulfur clusters with nitric oxide in biological systems and highlight the importance of thiolate-to-iron ratios in stabilizing DNICs.  相似文献

Reaction of excess NO with the S = 3/2 Fe(III) complex (Et4N)2[Fe(PhPepS)(Cl)] (1) in protic solvents such as MeOH affords the {Fe-NO}(7) nitrosyl (Et(4)N)(2)[Fe(PhPepS)(NO)] (2). This distorted square-pyramidal S = 1/2 complex, a product of reductive nitrosylation, is the first example of an {Fe-NO}7 nitrosyl with carboxamido-N and thiolato-S coordination. When the same reaction is performed in aprotic solvents such as MeCN and DMF, the product is a dimeric diamagnetic {Fe-NO}6 complex, (Et4N)2-[{Fe(PhPepS)(NO)}2] (3). Both electrochemical and chemical oxidation of 2 leads to the formation of 3 via a transient five-coordinate {Fe-NO}6 intermediate. The oxidation is NO-centered. The ligand frame is not attacked by excess NO in these reactions.  相似文献

Reaction of Fe(CO)2(NO)2 and [(ON)Fe(S,S-C6H3R)2]- (R = H (1), CH3 (1-Me))/[(ON)Fe(SO2,S-C6H4)(S,S-C6H4)]- (4) in THF afforded the diiron thiolate/sulfinate nitrosyl complexes [(ON)Fe(S,S-C6H3R)2 Fe(NO)2]- (R = H (2), CH3 (2-Me)) and [(ON)Fe(S,SO2-C6H4)(S,S-C6H4)Fe(NO)2]- (3), respectively. The average N-O bond lengths ([Fe(NO)2] unit) of 1.167(3) and 1.162(4) A in complexes 2 and 3 are consistent with the average N-O bond length of 1.165 A observed in the other structurally characterized dinitrosyl iron complexes with an {Fe(NO)2}9 core. The lower nu(15NO) value (1682 cm(-1) (KBr)) of the [(15NO)FeS4] fragment of [(15NO)Fe(S,S-C6H3CH3)2 Fe(NO)2]- (2-Me-15N), compared to that of [(15NO)Fe(S,S-C6H3CH3)2]- (1-Me-15N) (1727 cm(-1) (KBr)), implicates the electron transfer from {Fe(NO)2}10 Fe(CO)2(NO)2 to complex 1-Me/1 may occur in the process of formation of complex 2-Me/2. Then, the electronic structures of the [(NO)FeS4] and [S2Fe(NO)2] cores of complexes 2, 2-Me, and 3 were best assigned according to the Feltham-Enemark notation as the {Fe(NO)}7-{Fe(NO)2}9 coupling (antiferromagnetic interaction with a J value of -182 cm(-1) for complex 2) to account for the absence of paramagnetism (SQUID) and the EPR signal. On the basis of Fe-N(O) and N-O bond distances, the dinitrosyliron {L2Fe(NO)2} derivatives having an Fe-N(O) distance of approximately 1.670 A and a N-O distance of approximately 1.165 A are best assigned as {Fe(NO)2}9 electronic structures, whereas the Fe-N(O) distance of approximately 1.650 A and N-O distance of approximately 1.190 A probably imply an {Fe(NO)2}10 electronic structure.  相似文献

The five-coordinated iron-thiolate nitrosyl complexes [(NO)Fe(S,S-C6H3R)2]- (R = H (1), m-CH3 (2)), [(NO)Fe(S,S-C6H2-3,6-Cl2)2]- (3), [(NO)Fe(S,S-C6H3R)2]2- (R = H (10), m-CH3 (11)), and [(NO)Fe(S,S-C6H2-3,6-Cl2)2]2- (12) have been isolated and structurally characterized. Sulfur oxygenation of iron-thiolate nitrosyl complexes 1-3 containing the {Fe(NO)}6 core was triggered by O2 to yield the S-bonded monosulfinate iron species [(NO)Fe(S,SO2-C6H3R)(S,S-C6H3R)]- (R = H (4), m-CH3 (5)) and [(NO)Fe(S,SO2-C6H2-3,6-Cl2)(S,S-C6H2-3,6-Cl2)]2(2-) (6), respectively. In contrast, attack of O2 on the {Fe(NO)}7 complex 10 led to the formation of complex 1 accompanied by the minor products, [Fe(S,S-C6H4)2]2(2-) and [NO3]- (yield 9%). Reduction of complexes 4-6 by [EtS]- in CH3CN-THF yielded [(NO)Fe(S,SO2-C6H3R)(S,S-C6H3R)]2- (R = H (7), m-CH3 (8)) and [(NO)Fe(S,SO2-C6H2-3,6-Cl2)(S,S-C6H2-3,6-Cl2)]2- (9) along with (EtS)2 identified by 1H NMR. Compared to complex 10, complexes 7-9 with the less electron-donating sulfinate ligand coordinated to the {Fe(NO)}7 core were oxidized by O2 to yield complexes 4-6. Obviously, the electronic perturbation of the {Fe(NO)}7 core caused by the coordinated sulfinate in complexes 7-9 may serve to regulate the reactivity of complexes 7-9 toward O2. The iron-sulfinate nitrosyl species with the {Fe(NO)}6/7 core exhibit the photolabilization of sulfur-bound [O] moiety. Complexes 1-4-7-10 (or 2-5-8-11 and 3-6-9-12) are interconvertible under sulfur oxygenation, redox processes, and photolysis, respectively.  相似文献
