本文研究了周期对称势中时间非对称外力驱动的布朗粒子输运现象, 建立了分数阶布朗马达输运模型. 其中外力是零均值的, 而分数阶阶数则刻画了客观环境的非均匀性程度. 通过将模型离散化进行数值模拟, 讨论了分数阶阶数、系统参量和外部参量与定向流之间的依赖关系. 研究表明, 即使没有倾斜势场的作用, 时间非对称外力也可以诱导系统产生定向输运; 输运速度随分数阶阶数的增大而单调递增; 当阶数固定时, 系统的输运速度会随着势垒高度、噪声强度非单调变化, 表现出广义随机共振现象. 分析指出, 分数阶郎之万方程所刻画的输运现象是在整数阶模型基础上的一个推广, 进而为输运现象提供了一个可能更为真实的模型.  相似文献

选取幂函数作为广义Langevin方程的阻尼核函数,采用闪烁棘轮势,建立了过阻尼分数阶Brown马达模型.结合分数阶微积分的记忆性,分析了粒子在过阻尼分数阶Brown马达作用下的运动特性.研究发现,较之整数阶情形,过阻尼分数阶Brown马达也会产生定向输运现象,并且在某些阶数下会产生整数阶情形所不具有的反向定向流.此外,还讨论了阶数和噪声强度对系统输运速度的影响,发现当阶数固定时,其平均输运速度会随噪声变化出现随机共振;当噪声强度固定时,其输运速度会随阶数变化而振荡,即出现多峰的广义随机共振现象.  相似文献

在对分数阶布朗马达输运现象研究的基础上,引入了描述系统势场对称性的参数(简称对称性参数),并详细分析了该参数及记忆性参数(分数阶阶数)对粒子输运状态的影响.仿真结果表明,分数阶阶数和对称性参数的共同作用会使得布朗粒子形成定向输运反向流,反向后达到最大平均流速所对应的阶数与外加驱动力频率无关联,但会随对称性参数的增加而单调递增.  相似文献

The collision efficiency in the Brownian coagulation is investigated. A new mechanical model of collision between two identical spherical particles is proposed, and a set of corresponding collision equations is established. The equations are solved numerically, thereby obtaining the collision efficiency for the monodisperse dioctyl phthalate spherical aerosols with diameters ranging from 100 to 760 nm in the presence of van der Waals force and the elastic deformation force. The calculated collision efficiency, in agreement with the experimental data qualitatively, decreases with the increase of particle diameter except a small peak appearing in the particles with a diameter of 510 nm. The results show that the interparticle elastic deformation force cannot be neglected in the computation of particle Brownian coagulation. Finally, a set of new expressions relating collision efficiency to particle diameter is established.  相似文献

The main result of this paper is a derivation of a generalized nonlinear Langevin equation (GLE) forn interacting particles in a bath. A consequence of the derivation is that the exact form of the (generalized) fluctuation-dissipation theorem is obtained. We discuss also the relation between the memory kernel of the GLE and some corresponding correlation functions which can be easily obtained in a molecular dynamics computer experiment. In the same spirit it is shown that the approach applies to a Brownian particle subjected to a stationary external field. The technique presented in a previous paper to simulate generalized Brownian dynamics can be easily extended to the present case. Our derivation intends to clarify the uses and (possibly) abuses of the Langevin equation in Brownian dynamics studies.  相似文献

The transport of externally overdriven particles confined in entropic barriers is investigated under various types of oscillating and temporal forces.Temperature,load,and amplitude dependence of the particle current and energy conversion efficiency are investigated in three dimensions.For oscillating forces,the optimized temperature–load,amplitude–temperature,and amplitude–load intervals are determined when fixing the amplitude,load,and temperature,respectively.By using three-dimensional plots rather than two-dimensional ones,it is clearly shown that oscillating forces provide more efficiency compared with a temporal one in specified optimized parameter regions.Furthermore,the dependency of efficiency to the angle between the unbiased driving force and a constant force is investigated and an asymmetric angular dependence is found for all types of forces.Finally,it is shown that oscillating forces with a high amplitude and under a moderate load lead to higher efficiencies than a temporal force at both low and high temperatures for the entire range of contact angle.  相似文献

Transport of an inertial Brownian motor moving in an asymmetric periodic potential driven by an external force and correlated noises is investigated. Using the numerical algorithm, the asymptotic mean velocity (AMV) for characterizing directed transport is obtained. The effects of the external driving force f and the correlation λ between the two noises on the AMV are discussed. The results manifest: (1) the external driving force and the correlation between the two noises can lead to the phenomena like current reversal. (2) The competitions among the external driving force and the correlation between the two noises are necessary for current reversal, i.e., fλ>0. (3) Different directions of transport are found for different masses of the Brownian particles under the condition fλ>0. Therefore a theoretical study is suggested for separating Brownian particles according to their different masses in the ratchet system.  相似文献

将自由状态下呈弹道扩散的非各态历经系统置于周期场中,进而将非各态历经布朗运动分为两类.第一类是阻尼核的Laplace变换的低频为零的系统,当温度远大于势垒高度时,系统平均能量的动能部分依赖粒子的初始速度分布;随温度降低,系统的各态历经性得到恢复.然后将第一类系统的稳定速度变量作为一个内部噪声,再去驱动一个自由布朗粒子,则阻尼核的Laplace变换在零频时为无穷大.结果发现,粒子扩散系数随温度的增加而趋于零,显示一种经典局域化特征,系统的渐进分布依赖于初始坐标分布.这是第二类非各态历经性运动,不能通过外加势而恢复. 关键词: 非各态历经 非Markov布朗运动 扩散系数 噪声谱  相似文献

We present here a detailed study of the behaviour of a three dimensional Brownian motor based on cold atoms in a double optical lattice [P. Sj?lund et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 96, 190602 (2006)]. This includes both experiments and numerical simulations of a Brownian particle. The potentials used are spatially and temporally symmetric, but combined spatiotemporal symmetry is broken by phase shifts and asymmetric transfer rates between potentials. The diffusion of atoms in the optical lattices is rectified and controlled both in direction and speed along three dimensions. We explore a large range of experimental parameters, where irradiances and detunings of the optical lattice lights are varied within the dissipative regime. Induced drift velocities in the order of one atomic recoil velocity have been achieved.  相似文献

Based on finite time thermodynamics, an irreversible combined thermal Brownian heat engine model is established in this paper. The model consists of two thermal Brownian heat engines which are operating in tandem with thermal contact with three heat reservoirs. The rates of heat transfer are finite between the heat engine and the reservoir. Considering the heat leakage and the losses caused by kinetic energy change of particles, the formulas of steady current, power output and efficiency are derived. The power output and efficiency of combined heat engine are smaller than that of single heat engine operating between reservoirs with same temperatures. When the potential filed is free from external load, the effects of asymmetry of the potential, barrier height and heat leakage on the performance of the combined heat engine are analyzed. When the potential field is free from external load, the effects of basic design parameters on the performance of the combined heat engine are analyzed. The optimal power and efficiency are obtained by optimizing the barrier heights of two heat engines. The optimal working regions are obtained. There is optimal temperature ratio which maximize the overall power output or efficiency. When the potential filed is subjected to external load, effect of external load is analyzed. The steady current decreases versus external load; the power output and efficiency are monotonically increasing versus external load.  相似文献

By estimating the force and torque acting on the cube for the two cases of a uniform flow field and a rotational flow field, we have discussed whether or not there is a coupling between the translational and the rotational motion. From the characteristics of the friction coefficients, we may understand that there is no coupling between the translation motion and the rotational motion in the situation of the Reynolds number being sufficiently smaller than unity. In contrast, in the case of a non-slow flow field with the Reynolds number larger than unity, the coupling characteristics of the motion of a cube is certainly recognised and therefore the interaction with the ambient fluid is characterised by a variety of friction coefficients including friction coefficients that relate the forces acting on the cube to the angular velocities of the rotational motion. Hence, the employment of these translational and rotational diffusion coefficients for a cube enables the implementation of Brownian dynamics simulations for a suspension composed of cubic particles in order to analyse the dynamic characteristics of a cubic particle suspension.

  1. We have considered a flow problem around a cube in order to numerically clarify the characteristics of the translational and rotational friction or diffusion coefficients.

  2. In a slow flow field the motion of the cube need only to be characterised by two friction coefficients, i.e. the translational and rotational friction coefficients.

  3. In the case of a non-slow flow field, the coupling characteristics between the translational motion and the rotational motion are recognised.

  4. Employment of these diffusion coefficients enables the implementation of Brownian dynamics simulations for a suspension composed of cubic particles.

A Brownian microscopic heat engine with a particle hopping on a one-dimensional lattice driven by a discrete and periodic temperature field in a periodic sawtooth potential is investigated. In order to clarify the underlying physical pictures of the heat engine, the heat flow via the potential energy and the kinetic energy of the particles are considered simultaneously. Based on describing the jumps among the three states, the expressions of the efficiency and power output of the heat engine are derived analytically. The general performance characteristic curves are plotted by numerical calculation. It is found that the power output-efficiency curve is a loop-shaped one, which is similar to one for a real irreversible heat engine. The influence of the ratio of the temperature of the hot and cold reservoirs and the sawtooth potential on the maximum efficiency and power output is analyzed for some given parameters. When the heat flows via the kinetic energy is neglected, the power output-efficiency curve is an open-shaped one, which is similar to one for an endroeversible heat engine.  相似文献

The behaviour of the current in a two-dimensional Biittiker-Landauer motor, which is a position-dependent temperature-driven Brownian motor, is investigated in the presence of entropic and energy barriers. It is found that the motion of the Brownian particles is influenced by the shape of the channel. The existence of an entropic barrier can cause an asymmetric current as the flatness ratio of the shape varies. There exists an optimized flatness ratio (nonzero) at which the current reaches its maximum value.  相似文献
