We first give an equivalence between the derived category of a locally finitely presented category and the derived category of contravariant functors from its finitely presented subcategory to the category of abelian groups, in the spirit of Krause’s work [Math. Ann., 2012, 353: 765–781]. Then we provide a criterion for the existence of recollement of derived categories of functor categories, which shows that the recollement structure may be induced by a proper morphism defined in finitely presented subcategories. This criterion is then used to construct a recollement of derived category of Gorenstein injective modules over CM-finite 2-Gorenstein artin algebras.  相似文献

A general framework for cluster tilting is set up by showing that any quotient of a triangulated category modulo a tilting subcategory (i.e., a maximal 1-orthogonal subcategory) carries an induced abelian structure. These abelian quotients turn out to be module categories of Gorenstein algebras of dimension at most one.   相似文献

An artin algebra A is said to be CM-finite if there are only finitely many, up to isomorphisms, indecomposable finitely generated Gorenstein-projective A-modules. We prove that for a Gorenstein artin algebra, it is CM-finite if and only if every its Gorenstein-projective module is a direct sum of finitely generated Gorenstein-projective modules. This is an analogue of Auslander's theorem on algebras of finite representation type [M. Auslander, A functorial approach to representation theory, in: Representations of Algebras, Workshop Notes of the Third Internat. Conference, in: Lecture Notes in Math., vol. 944, Springer-Verlag, Berlin, 1982, pp. 105-179; M. Auslander, Representation theory of artin algebras II, Comm. Algebra (1974) 269-310].  相似文献

Abstract

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring. There are several characterizations of Gorenstein rings in terms of classical homological dimensions of their modules. In this paper, we use Gorenstein dimensions (Gorenstein injective and Gorenstein flat dimension) to describe Gorenstein rings. Moreover a characterization of Gorenstein injective (resp. Gorenstein flat) modules over Gorenstein rings is given in terms of their Gorenstein flat (resp. Gorenstein injective) resolutions.  相似文献

Abstract

Let A be an n-Gorenstein ring. Employing the theory developed by Enochs on the existence of Gorenstein preenvelopes and precovers, we introduce the concept of Gorenstein tilting pair. Moreover, we give a simple characterization on Gorenstein tilting pair, which shows that Gorenstein cotilting and tilting modules are special examples of Gorenstein tilting pair.

We prove that the Hilbert functions of Gorenstein Artin algebras R/I of embedding dimension four are unimodal provided I has a minimal generator in degree less than five. It is still an open question as to whether all Gorenstein Hilbert functions in codimension four are SI-sequences. It is not even known if they are all unimodal. In this article, we prove that Hilbert functions of all Gorenstein Artin algebras starting with (1, 4, 10, 20, h 4,…), where h 4 = 34 are unimodal. Combining this with previously known results, we obtain that all Gorenstein Hilbert functions (1, 4, h 2, h 3, h 4,…4, 1) are unimodal if h 4 ≤ 34.  相似文献

A new class of Gorenstein algebras T m,n (A) is introduced, their module categories are described, and all the Gorenstein-projective T m,n (A)-modules are explicitly determined.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that the Gorenstein analogue of the well-known Auslander's theorem on the global dimension holds true. Namely, we prove that the Gorenstein global dimension of a commutative ring R is equal to the supremum of the set of Gorenstein projective dimensions of all cyclic R-modules.  相似文献

In this paper we give a complete analytic classification of Artin Gorenstein almost stretched algebras, i.e., Artin Gorenstein algebras with Hilbert function {1, n, 2,…, 2, 1,…, 1}.  相似文献

We study Gorenstein categories. We show that such a category has Tate cohomological functors and Avramov–Martsinkovsky exact sequences connecting the Gorenstein relative, the absolute and the Tate cohomological functors. We show that such a category has what Hovey calls an injective model structure and also a projective model structure in case the category has enough projectives. As examples we show that if X is a locally Gorenstein projective scheme then the category ??????(X) of quasi‐coherent sheaves on X is such a category and so has these features. Gorenstein flatness and injectivity over Gorenstein rings   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Let R be a Gorenstein ring.We prove that if I is an ideal of R such that R/I is a semi-simple ring, then the Gorenstein flat dimension of R/I as a right R-module and the Gorenstein injective dimension of R/I as a left R-module are identical. In addition,we prove that if R→S is a homomorphism of rings and SE is an injective cogenerator for the category of left S-modules,then the Gorenstein flat dimension of S as a right R-module and the Gorenstein injective dimension of E as a left R-module are identical. We also give some applications of these results.  相似文献

We show that an iteration of the procedure used to define the Gorenstein projective modules over a ring R yields exactly the Gorenstein projective modules. Specifically, given an exact sequence of Gorenstein projective left R-modules G = … → G 1 → G 0 → G 0 → G 1 → … such that the complex Hom R (G, H) is exact for each projective left R-module H, the module Im(G 0 → G 0) is Gorenstein projective. We also get similar results for Gorenstein flat left R-modules when R is a right coherent ring. As applications, we obtain the corresponding results for Gorenstein complexes.  相似文献

In this article, we study the hereditary torsion theory defined by the set of associated primes of principle ideals of an integral domain, which is called the g-torsion theory. We first discuss some general properties of g-torsion theories, and after that give some applications of them. For example, we generalize a characterization of reflexive modules over quasi-normal domains to a class of non-Noetherian domains. Among other things, a characterization of coherent domains of weak Gorenstein global dimension at most two is also given in terms of Gorenstein projectivity (or Gorenstein flatness) of injective modules relative to the g-torsion theory.  相似文献

In this article, we study the relation between m-strongly Gorenstein projective (resp., injective) modules and n-strongly Gorenstein projective (resp., injective) modules whenever m ≠ n, and the homological behavior of n-strongly Gorenstein projective (resp., injective) modules. We introduce the notion of n-strongly Gorenstein flat modules. Then we study the homological behavior of n-strongly Gorenstein flat modules, and the relation between these modules and n-strongly Gorenstein projective (resp., injective) modules.  相似文献

Abstract

Let R be a commutative Noetherian local Gorenstein ring with residue field k. We show that G(k), the Gorenstein injective envelope of k, is an artinian R-module, and we compute G(k) in the case where R = k[[S]] is a semigroup ring and S is symmetric. We also show that a certain subring of the endomorphism ring of G(k) is a complete local (but possibly non-commutative) ring.  相似文献

We extend the notion of virtually Gorenstein rings to the setting of arbitrary rings, and prove that all rings R of finite Gorenstein weak global dimension are virtually Gorenstein such that all Gorenstein projective R-modules are Gorenstein flat. For such a ring R, we introduce the notion of relative homology functors of complexes with respect to Gorenstein projective (resp., flat) modules, and establish a balanced and a vanishing result for the homology functor.  相似文献
