The plane problem of homogeneous vortex flows of an incompressible inviscid fluid around a contour is considered. A method is developed for contours having a center or an axis of symmetry for calculating the lifting force acting on the contour which reduces the problem of determining the lifting force to an ordinary problem of a potential flow of a fluid around the given contour.  相似文献

Similarity solutions of the equations of a laminar incompressible boundary layer, formed in a rotational external flow, are investigated. Such problems arise in the analysis of the flow in a boundary layer when there is an abrupt change in the boundary conditions (for example, in the case of a discrete inflation of the boundary layer, in hypersonic flow about blunt bodies, etc.). Various approaches to their solution have been proposed earlier in [1–4]. Solved below is the so-called inverse problem of boundary layer theory (see [3], p. 200), where the contour of the body that causes a given flow outside the boundary layer is unknown beforehand and is found during the course of solution of the problem in connection with the coupling of the longitudinal and transverse velocity components. The cases of a parabolic (ue ~ y2) and a linear (ue=a(x)+b(x)y) variation in the velocity of the external flow with distance along the transverse direction are considered in detail. The latter includes an investigation of the flow in the neighborhood of the critical point of a blunt body, taking account of the vorticity of the flow in the shock layer.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 78–83, March–April, 1971.  相似文献

The solution of the problem of a solid body motion in a parallel flow is discussed in [1]. To investigate the motion of a body with a deformable surface in a potential flow, one can use the following approximate method. By the external flow outside the body we shall understand the difference between the resulting flow, and the flow with a potential regular outside the body due to the presence of the body. For an infinite problem the notions of external and unperturbed flow (the flow in the absence of the body) coincide. We investigate the class of external flows for which the Taylor series of the velocity field converges in some sphere containing the body. The flows described by the partial sums S1, S2,... of this series approximate with increasing accuracy the external flow in the sphere. The exact solution Sn of the body motion in a flow without boundaries is an approximate solution of the original problem (not necessarily without boundaries). The flow S1 is parallel. We shall call the flow S2 linear because it is a linear function of the radius vector. Evidently, S2 is the simplest nonparallel flow Sn for n 2. Apparently, [2] is the first work that investigated the linear flow in three dimensions. Yakimov [3] obtained an expression for the force acting on a deformable body in the linear flow. Votsnov et al. [4] also solved the problem of hydrodynamic action on the solid body, in the linear-flow approximation, but in the expression for the moment he did not obtain all terms that appear in the exact solution. In the present work we shall obtain an expression for the moment acting on an arbitrary (deformable) body in a linear potential flow. The result is expressed in terms of the local characteristics of the external flow, and in terms of the shape of the body. We investigate bodies whose surface has planes of symmetry, and revolution bodies. We compare our results with the results for parallel flow and with the results of [4].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 88–93, September–October, 1977.The author thanks Yu. The variational problem of determining the optimal contour of an outlet system consisting of the supersonic jet-engine nozzle and the tail of the flight vehicle is solved by the direct method. Some optimal contours of two-dimensional outlet systems are calculated taking the effects of the external flow, the base, the angle of attack, and certain other factors into account. Moscow. The problem of designing the contour of an airfoil in a viscous (incompressible and compressible) flow with a separated turbulent boundary layer from a pressure distribution given on the separationless part of the contour is solved using the boundary layer theory together with the separated flow model proposed in [1]. Numerical calculations are carried out to demonstrate the possibilities of the method.Kazan'. A wing profile of infinite span, whose lower surface is replaced by a system of guide vanes, is placed in a flow of an ideal incompressible fluid. Fluid flows out through the system of guide vanes from the internal cavity of the wing into the external stream, forming a jet in the wake (Fig. 1). The total pressure in the wing cavity and in the jet differs from the total pressure in the outer free stream. The jet boundaries are streamlines extending to infinity, along which there is a discontinuity of the velocity value. The flow of fluid in the internal wing cavity is simulated by a flow caused by a system of suitably located sources, and the system of guide vanes is replaced by discrete vortices. The form of the profile arc is selected so that the fluid flow from the sources in the direction which is nearly opposite the direction of the freestream velocity is restrained by the segment of the contour with high curvature in the vicinity of the leading edge. We consider the flow regime about the profile with an exhausting jet for which the two ends of the arc the points of detachment of the stream and the velocity discontinuity line (profile arc, jet boundary) is a smooth curve, which imposes an additional condition on the magnitude of the circulation. As the model for the study of the flow about a profile with jet blowing we take the arc of a logarithmic spiral.Formulas are obtained for determining the over-all characteristics of the stream forces acting on the profile in the presence of the jet and the total pressure discontinuity. On the basis of the calculations made for a thin wing a qualitative analysis is made for the stream force acting on the profile. The authors wish to thank S. A. Khristianovich for formulating the problem and for his advice.  相似文献

The problem of bending of an isotropic elastic plate is solved for a finite doubly connected domain whose external boundary is a convex polygon and internal boundary is a smooth closed contour. The bending problem is reduced to the analytical solution of the Riemann—Hilbert problem for a ring. The deflection of the median surface and the shape of the plate's internal boundary are found  相似文献

A special variant is considered of the theory of longitudinal—transverse interaction in which the pressure field in the perturbed region of flow forms under the influence of centrifugal forces which lead to a change in the pressure across the boundary layer. This regime of flow is realized in flow of an incompressible fluid, when the two-dimensional boundary layer developing along the smooth section of the contour of a solid body enters into interaction with a three-dimensional irregularity on the surface around which flow is taking place, a projection or a depression. On the assumption that the height of the irregularity is not great, a solution is constructed for the linearized problem of interaction. It is shown that the properties of the flow of fluid in the region of interaction, in particular the possibility of penetration of perturbations into the boundary layer in front of an irregularity, depend on the sign of the curvature exhibited by the contour of the body.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 39–48, January–February, 1988.  相似文献

Singular integral equations of the first and second kind with the Cauchy kernel on a limiting narrow closed contour are theoretically considered. The initial equations are found to become different on the limiting contour. This singularity of integral equations with the Cauchy kernel does not allow boundary-value problems of the flow around thin airfoils to be solved correctly; therefore, a system consisting of integral equations of the first and second kind is proposed for solving such problems. The results of the present study are tested against an exact solution of the problem of the flow past a flat plate.  相似文献

A simulation of non-reacting dilute gas–solid flow in a truncated ideal contour nozzle with consideration of external stream interactions is performed. The Eulerian–Lagrangian approach involving a two-way momentum and thermal coupling between gas and particles phases is also adopted. Of interests are to investigate the effects of particles diameter and mass flow fraction on the flow pattern, Mach number, pressure and temperature contours and their distributions along the nozzle centerline and wall. The main goal is to determine the separation point quantitatively when the particles characteristics change. Particles sample trajectories are illustrated throughout the flow field and a qualitative discussion on the way that physical properties of the nozzle exit flow and particles trajectories oscillate is prepared. The existence of solid particulates delays the separation prominently in the cases studied. The bigger particles and the higher particles mass flow fractions respectively advance and delay the separation occurrence. The particles trajectories oscillate when they expose to the crisscrossing (or diamond-shape) shock waves generated outside the nozzle to approach the exit jet conditions to the ambient. The simulation code is validated and verified, respectively, against a one-phase 2D convergent–divergent nozzle flow and a two-phase Jet Propulsion Laboratory nozzle flow, and acceptable agreements are achieved.  相似文献

The underground contour of an embedded rectangular dam, whose corners are rounded in accordance with curves of constant flow velocity and whose water-permeable base is underlain by a confining layer with a curvilinear roof characterized by a constant flow velocity, is constructed. The corresponding boundary value problem is solved by means of the semi-inverse use of the velocity hodograph method. The results of the numerical calculations are given and the effect of the main determining parameters of the model on the shape and dimensions of the underground contour of the dam and the curvilinear confining layer is analyzed. The limiting cases in which the water-permeable base of the dam has an unbounded thickness, namely, a streamlined apron with a horizontal insert and streamlined sheet piling (tooth), are investigated in detail.  相似文献

A large number of studies have been published which define bodies of minimal drag and nozzles of maximal thrust. A study has been made of the region of existence of the various solutions in planar flow, and it has been shown that the optimal profile in the presence of a length limitation may have a blunt end, which is a segment of a boundary extremum. The results of these studies and also the required bibiliography are contained in [1–3].In the following we present a joint solution of the problems of constructing the optimal afterbody and nozzle contour, which are the boundaries of a single planar body or of a ducted body. The investigation is limited to cases in which the form of the external contour (i.e., the afterbody contour) ensures the absence of shock waves in its influence region. The necessary conditions are obtained which determine the optimal configuration, and computational examples are given.  相似文献

Within the framework of the ideal, i.e., inviscid and non-heat conducting, gas model we consider the problem of designing the supersonic section of a two-dimensional or axisymmetric nozzle realizing a uniform supersonic flow limitingly similar with a sonic flow when the choked flow involves a curvilinear sonic line. Emphasis is placed on nozzles with abruptly or steeply converging subsonic sections and a strongly curved sonic line formed by the C -characteristics of the expansion fan with the focus at the lower bend point of the vertical section of the subsonic contour. In the two-dimensional case, the least possible greater-than-unity Mach number M em at the nozzle exit corresponds to the flow in which the first intersection of the C +-characteristics originated at the closing C -characteristic of the expansion fan falls on the unknown contour of its supersonic part. For a uniform flow with M e < M em the intersection of C +-characteristics beneath the unknown contour make impossible its construction. A part of the contour realizing a uniform flow with M em > 1 ensures a limitingly rapid flow acceleration and forms the initial region of the supersonic generator of a maximum-thrust nozzle. For this reason, in the case of a curvilinear sonic line the supersonic generators of these nozzles have two, rather than one, bends, which, however, is interesting only for the theory. At least, in the calculated examples the thrusts of the nozzles with one and two bends differ only by a hundredth or even thousandth fractions of per cent.  相似文献

The problem of the design of an airfoil with slot air suction from the outer flow for a prescribed velocity distribution over the airfoil contour that ensures the absence of flow separation over a given range of angles of attack is formulated and solved. The proposed combined numerical and analytical method of airfoil design within the framework of the inviscid incompressible fluid model is based on the theory of inverse problems of aerohydrodynamics. Separationless flow past the airfoil is achieved by eliminating the falling velocity intervals from the specified velocity distribution in two given flow regimes. The flow past an airfoil with outer-flow suction is determined not only by the angle of attack as for an impermeable airfoil but also by the value of the suction mass flow. The slot is modeled by an annular channel with constant velocities on the walls. To satisfy the problem solvability conditions, free parameters are introduced into the initial velocity distribution. Examples of airfoil design are given. Kazan, Moscow. Translated from Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 185–191, July–August, 2000.  相似文献

The three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics (3D-CFD) of a pulsating flow applied to the fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) reaction was investigated in the riser of a circulating fluidized bed reactor. The kinetic parameters of the FCC and coke burning reactions for predicting the reactant conversion and product yield percentages were applied. To increase the reactant conversion level and product yield, the effect of the pulsating flow operating parameters was considered using a 2k statistical experimental design with four factors (amplitude, frequency, types of the waveform, and amplitude ratio). The 3D-CFD simulation was successfully validated from the experimental literature data. The frequency and type of the waveform were found to be the significant operating parameters. The expression of the fitted regression model and response surface contour were derived and revealed that the pulsating flow provides a higher reactant conversion level and product yield percentages compared to a non-pulsating or steady flow.  相似文献

This paper presents unconventional formulations of boundary problems of plane elasticity formulated in terms of orientations of tractions and displacements on a closed contour separating internal and external domains as the boundary conditions. These are combined with the conditions of continuity of tractions or displacements across the boundary. Therefore the magnitudes of neither tractions nor displacements are assumed on the contour. Four boundary value problems for both external and internal domains are investigated by analyzing the solvability of the corresponding singular integral equations. It is shown that all considered problems can have non-unique solutions expressed as linear combinations of particular solutions and, hence, contain free arbitrary parameters, the number of which is finite and determined by the contour orientations of tractions and/or displacements  相似文献

The recovery factor on a permeable surface has been experimentally determined at various rates of injection of air into a supersonic turbulent boundary layer. On the basis of an analysis of the solutions of the integral momentum and energy equations for a turbulent boundary layer an expression is obtained for the recovery factor. The recovery factor in the region of a protective gas surface film in a supersonic external flow has been experimentally determined.Moscow. Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR. A method is developed for determining the load-bearing capacity of ice plates, which are modeled by an ideal rigid-plastic plate located on an incompressible foundation. The plate with a simply supported or clamped arbitrary smooth curvilinear contour is subjected to a load uniformly distributed over an arbitrarily shaped reinforced local central region. An analytical expression for the ultimate load is derived. A plate shaped as an ellipse is considered as an example.  相似文献
