We study the Sturm-Liouville operator L = ?d 2/dx 2 + q(x) in the space L 2[0, π] with the Dirichlet boundary conditions. We assume that the potential has the form q(x) = u′(x), uW 2 θ [0, π], 0 < θ < 1/2. We consider the problem on the uniform (on the entire interval [0, π]) equiconvergence of the expansion of a function f(x) in a series in the system of root functions of the operator L with its Fourier expansion in the system of sines. We show that if the antiderivative u(x) of the potential belongs to any of the spaces W 2 θ [0, π], 0 < θ < 1/2, then the equiconvergence rate can be estimated uniformly over the ball u(x) ∈ B R = {v(x) ∈ W 2 θ [0, π] | ∥vW 2 θ R} for any function f(x) ∈ L 2[0, π].  相似文献

Let (Ω, Σ) be a measurable space and m 0: Σ → X 0 and m 1: Σ → X 1 be positive vector measures with values in the Banach Köthe function spaces X 0 and X 1. If 0 < α < 1, we define a new vector measure [m 0, m 1] α with values in the Calderón lattice interpolation space X 0 1?ga X 1 α and we analyze the space of integrable functions with respect to measure [m 0, m 1] α in order to prove suitable extensions of the classical Stein-Weiss formulas that hold for the complex interpolation of L p -spaces. Since each p-convex order continuous Köthe function space with weak order unit can be represented as a space of p-integrable functions with respect to a vector measure, we provide in this way a technique to obtain representations of the corresponding complex interpolation spaces. As applications, we provide a Riesz-Thorin theorem for spaces of p-integrable functions with respect to vector measures and a formula for representing the interpolation of the injective tensor product of such spaces.  相似文献

Relations between Gorenstein derived categories, Gorenstein defect categories and Gorenstein stable categories are established. Using these, the Gorensteinness of an algebra A and invariants with respect to recollements of the bounded Gorenstein derived category D gp b (A-mod) of A are investigated. Specifically, the Gorensteinness of A is characterized in terms of recollements of D gp b (A-mod) and Gorenstein derived equivalences. It is also shown that Cohen-Macaulay-finiteness is invariant with respect to the recollements of D gp b (A-mod).  相似文献

Let χ = {χ n } n=0 be the Haar system normalized in L 2(0, 1) and M = {M s } s=1 be an arbitrary, increasing sequence of nonnegative integers. For any subsystem of χ of the form {φ k } = χS = {χ n } nS , where S = S(M) = {n k } k=1 = {nV[p]: pM}, V[0] = {1, 2} and V[p] = {2 p + 1, 2 p + 2, …, 2 p+1} for p = 1, 2, … a series of the form Σ i=1 a i φ i with a i ↘ 0 is constructed, that is universal with respect to partial series in all classes L r (0, 1), r ∈ (0, 1), in the sense of a.e. convergence and in the metric ofL r (0, 1). The constructed series is universal in the class of all measurable, finite functions on [0, 1] in the sense of a.e. convergence. It is proved that there exists a series by Haar system with decreasing coefficients, which has the following property: for any ? > 0 there exists a measurable function µ(x), x ∈ [0, 1], such that 0 ≤ µ(x) ≤ 1 and |{x ∈ [0, 1], µ(x) ≠ = 1}| < ?, and the series is universal in the weighted space L µ[0, 1] with respect to subseries, in the sense of convergence in the norm of L µ[0, 1].  相似文献

We study the interior smoothness properties of solutions to a linear second-order uniformly elliptic equation in selfadjoint form without lower-order terms and with measurable bounded coefficients. In terms of membership in a special function space we combine and supplement some properties of solutions such as membership in the Sobolev space W 2, loc 1 and Holder continuity. We show that the membership of solutions in the introduced space which we establish in this article gives some new properties that do not follow from Holder continuity and the membership in W 2,loc 1 .  相似文献

We show that, for every number p ∈ (0, 1), there is gL1[0, 1] (a universal function) that has monotone coefficients ck(g) and the Fourier–Walsh series convergent to g (in the norm of L1[0, 1]) such that, for every fLp[0, 1], there are numbers δk = ±1, 0 and an increasing sequence of positive integers Nq such that the series ∑ k=0+∞δkck(g)Wk (with {Wk} theWalsh system) and the subsequence \(\sigma _{{N_q}}^{\left( \alpha \right)}\), α ∈ (?1, 0), of its Cesáro means converge to f in the metric of Lp[0, 1].  相似文献

We study the boundary values of the functions of the Sobolev function spaces W l and the Nikol’ski? function spaces H l which are defined on an arbitrary domain of a Carnot group. We obtain some reversible characteristics of the traces of the spaces under consideration on the boundary of the domain of definition and sufficient conditions for extension of the functions of these spaces outside the domain of definition. In some cases these sufficient conditions are necessary.  相似文献

Let ?? m be the m-dimensional unit torus, m ∈ ?. The torsional rigidity of an open set Ω ? ?? m is the integral with respect to Lebesgue measure over all starting points x ∈ Ω of the expected lifetime in Ω of a Brownian motion starting at x. In this paper we consider Ω = ?? m \β[0, t], the complement of the path ß[0, t] of an independent Brownian motion up to time t. We compute the leading order asymptotic behaviour of the expectation of the torsional rigidity in the limit as t → ∞. For m = 2 the main contribution comes from the components in ??2\β0, t] whose inradius is comparable to the largest inradius, while for m = 3 most of ??3\β[0, t] contributes. A similar result holds for m ≥ 4 after the Brownian path is replaced by a shrinking Wiener sausage W r(t)[0, t] of radius r(t) = o(t -1/(m-2)), provided the shrinking is slow enough to ensure that the torsional rigidity tends to zero. Asymptotic properties of the capacity of ß[0, t] in ?3 and W 1[0, t] in ? m , m ≥ 4, play a central role throughout the paper. Our results contribute to a better understanding of the geometry of the complement of Brownian motion on ?? m , which has received a lot of attention in the literature in past years.  相似文献

It is shown that if P m α,β (x) (α, β > ?1, m = 0, 1, 2, …) are the classical Jaboci polynomials, then the system of polynomials of two variables {Ψ mn α,β (x, y)} m,n=0 r = {P m α,β (x)P n α,β (y)} m, n=0 r (r = m + nN ? 1) is an orthogonal system on the set Ω N×N = ?ub;(x i , y i ) i,j=0 N , where x i and y i are the zeros of the Jacobi polynomial P n α,β (x). Given an arbitrary continuous function f(x, y) on the square [?1, 1]2, we construct the discrete partial Fourier-Jacobi sums of the rectangular type S m, n, N α,β (f; x, y) by the orthogonal system introduced above. We prove that the order of the Lebesgue constants ∥S m, n, N α,β ∥ of the discrete sums S m, n, N α,β (f; x, y) for ?1/2 < α, β < 1/2, m + nN ? 1 is O((mn) q + 1/2), where q = max?ub;α,β?ub;. As a consequence of this result, several approximate properties of the discrete sums S m, n, N α,β (f; x, y) are considered.  相似文献

We prove the theorem on extension of the functions of the Sobolev space W p l (Ω) which are defined on a bounded (ε, δ)-domain Ω in a two-step Carnot group beyond the boundary of the domain of definition. This theorem generalizes the well-known extension theorem by P. Jones for domains of the Euclidean space.  相似文献

We consider the Sturm-Liouville operator L = ?d 2/dx 2 + q(x) with the Dirichlet boundary conditions in the space L 2[0, π] under the assumption that the potential q(x) belongs to W 2 ?1 [0, π]. We study the problem of uniform equiconvergence on the interval [0, π] of the expansion of a function f(x) in the system of eigenfunctions and associated functions of the operator L and its Fourier sine series expansion. We obtain sufficient conditions on the potential under which this equiconvergence holds for any function f(x) of class L 1. We also consider the case of potentials belonging to the scale of Sobolev spaces W 2 ?θ [0, π] with ½ < θ ≤ 1. We show that if the antiderivative u(x) of the potential belongs to some space W 2 θ [0, π] with 0 < θ < 1/2, then, for any function in the space L 2[0, π], the rate of equiconvergence can be estimated uniformly in a ball lying in the corresponding space and containing u(x). We also give an explicit estimate for the rate of equiconvergence.  相似文献

It is well-known that if an one-dimensional function is continuously differentiable on [0, 1], then its Fourier-Haar series converges absolutely. On the other hand, if a function of two variables has continuous partial derivatives f x and f y on T 2, then its Fourier series does not necessarily absolutely converge with respect to a multiple Haar system (see [1]). In this paper we state sufficient conditions for the absolute convergence of the Fourier-Haar series for two-dimensional continuously differentiable functions.  相似文献

In the present paper, a 2mth-order quasilinear divergence equation is considered under the condition that its coefficients satisfy the Carathéodory condition and the standard conditions of growth and coercivity in the Sobolev space Wm,p(Ω), Ω ? Rn, p > 1. It is proved that an arbitrary generalized (in the sense of distributions) solution uW0m,p (Ω) of this equation is bounded if m ≥ 2, n = mp, and the right-hand side of this equation belongs to the Orlicz–Zygmund space L(log L)n?1(Ω).  相似文献

For strongly elliptic Systems with Douglis-Nirenberg structure, we investigate the regularity of variational solutions to the Dirichlet and Neumann problems in a bounded Lipschitz domain. The solutions of the problems with homogeneous boundary conditions are originally defined in the simplest L 2-Sobolev spaces H σ . The regularity results are obtained in the potential spaces H p σ and Besov spaces B p σ . In the case of second-order Systems, the author’s results obtained a year ago are strengthened. The Dirichlet problem with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions is considered with the use of Whitney arrays.  相似文献

On the properties of maps connected with inverse Sturm-Liouville problems   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1
Let L D be the Sturm-Liouville operator generated by the differential expression L y = ?y″ + q(x)y on the finite interval [0, π] and by the Dirichlet boundary conditions. We assume that the potential q belongs to the Sobolev space W 2 ? [0, π] with some ? ≥ ?1. It is well known that one can uniquely recover the potential q from the spectrum and the norming constants of the operator L D. In this paper, we construct special spaces of sequences ? 2 θ in which the regularized spectral data {s k } ?∞ of the operator L D are placed. We prove the following main theorem: the map F q = {s k } from W 2 ? to ? 2 θ is weakly nonlinear (i.e., it is a compact perturbation of a linear map). A similar result is obtained for the operator L DN generated by the same differential expression and the Dirichlet-Neumann boundary conditions. These results serve as a basis for solving the problem of uniform stability of recovering a potential. Note that this problem has not been considered in the literature. The uniform stability results are formulated here, but their proof will be presented elsewhere.  相似文献

We clarify the relation between the subcategory D_(hf)~b(A) of homological finite objects in D~b(A)and the subcategory K~b(P) of perfect complexes in D~b(A), by giving two classes of abelian categories A with enough projective objects such that D_(hf)~b(A) = K~b(P), and finding an example such that D_(hf)~b(A)≠K~b(P). We realize the bounded derived category D~b(A) as a Verdier quotient of the relative derived category D_C~b(A), where C is an arbitrary resolving contravariantly finite subcategory of A. Using this relative derived categories, we get categorical resolutions of a class of bounded derived categories of module categories of infinite global dimension. We prove that if an Artin algebra A of infinite global dimension has a module T with inj.dimT ∞ such that ~⊥T is finite, then D~b(modA) admits a categorical resolution; and that for a CM(Cohen-Macaulay)-finite Gorenstein algebra, such a categorical resolution is weakly crepant.  相似文献

We consider a self-adjoint matrix elliptic operator A ε, ε > 0, on L 2(R d ;C n ) given by the differential expression b(D)*g(x/ε)b(D). The matrix-valued function g(x) is bounded, positive definite, and periodic with respect to some lattice; b(D) is an (m × n)-matrix first order differential operator such that mn and the symbol b(ξ) has maximal rank. We study the operator cosine cos(τA ε 1/2 ), where τ ∈ R. It is shown that, as ε → 0, the operator cos(τA ε 1/2 ) converges to cos(τ(A 0)1/2) in the norm of operators acting from the Sobolev space H s (R d ;C n ) (with a suitable s) to L 2(R d ;C n ). Here A 0 is the effective operator with constant coefficients. Sharp-order error estimates are obtained. The question about the sharpness of the result with respect to the type of the operator norm is studied. Similar results are obtained for more general operators. The results are applied to study the behavior of the solution of the Cauchy problem for the hyperbolic equation ? τ 2 u ε (x, τ) = ?A ε u ε (x, τ).  相似文献

A self-adjoint differential operator \(\mathbb{L}\) of order 2m is considered in L 2[0,∞) with the classic boundary conditions \(y^{(k_1 )} (0) = y^{(k_2 )} (0) = y^{(k_3 )} (0) = \ldots = y^{(k_m )} (0) = 0\), where 0 ≤ k 1 < k 2 < ... < k m ≤ 2m ? 1 and {k s } s=1 m ∪ {2m ? 1 ? k s } s=1 m = {0, 1, 2, ..., 2m ? 1}. The operator \(\mathbb{L}\) is perturbed by the operator of multiplication by a real measurable bounded function q(x) with a compact support: \(\mathbb{P}\) f(x) = q(x)f(x), fL 2[0,). The regularized trace of the operator \(\mathbb{L} + \mathbb{P}\) is calculated.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a new definition for the space of non-holomorphic Jacobi Maaß forms (denoted by J k,m nh ) of weight k∈? and index m∈? as eigenfunctions of a degree three differential operator \(\mathcal{C}^{k,m}\). We show that the three main examples of Jacobi forms known in the literature: holomorphic, skew-holomorphic and real-analytic Eisenstein series, are contained in J k,m nh . We construct new examples of cuspidal Jacobi Maaß forms F f of weight k∈2? and index 1 from weight k?1/2 Maaß forms f with respect to Γ0(4) and show that the map f ? F f is Hecke equivariant. We also show that the above map is compatible with the well-known representation theory of the Jacobi group. In addition, we show that all of J k,m nh can be “essentially” obtained from scalar or vector valued half integer weight Maaß forms.  相似文献

We study the properties of real realizations of holomorphic linear connections over associative commutative algebras \(\mathbb{A}\) m with unity. The following statements are proved. If a holomorphic linear connection ? on M n over \(\mathbb{A}\) m (m ≥ 2) is torsion-free and R ≠ 0, then the dimension over ? of the Lie algebra of all affine vector fields of the space (M mn ? , ??) is no greater than (mn)2 ? 2mn + 5, where m = dim? \(\mathbb{A}\), \(n = dim_\mathbb{A} \) M n , and ?? is the real realization of the connection ?.Let ?? =1 ? ×2 ? be the real realization of a holomorphic linear connection ? over the algebra of double numbers. If the Weyl tensor W = 0 and the components of the curvature tensor 1 R ≠ 0, 2 R ≠ 0, then the Lie algebra of infinitesimal affine transformations of the space (M 2n ? , ??) is isomorphic to the direct sum of the Lie algebras of infinitesimal affine transformations of the spaces ( a M n , a ?) (a = 1, 2).  相似文献
