We study Abelian strings in a fixed de Sitter background. We find that the gauge and Higgs fields extend smoothly across the cosmological horizon and that the string solutions have oscillating scalar fields outside the cosmological horizon for all currently accepted values of the cosmological constant. If the gauge to Higgs boson mass ratio is small enough, the gauge field function has a power-like behaviour, while it is oscillating outside the cosmological horizon if Higgs and gauge boson mass are comparable. Moreover, we observe that Abelian strings exist only up to a maximal value of the cosmological constant and that two branches of solutions exist that meet at this maximal value. We also construct radially excited solutions that only exist for non-vanishing values of the cosmological constant and are thus a novel feature as compared to flat space–time. Considering the effect of the de Sitter string on the space–time, we observe that the deficit angle increases with increasing cosmological constant. Lensed objects would thus be separated by a larger angle as compared to asymptotically flat space–time.  相似文献

This study explores the scalar and Dirac quasinormal modes pertaining to a class of black hole solutions in the scalar-tensor-Gauss-Bonnet theory. The black hole metrics in question are novel analytic solutions recently derived in the extended version of the theory, which effectively follows at the level of the action of string theory. Owing to the existence of a nonlinear electromagnetic field, the black hole solution possesses a nonvanishing magnetic charge. In particular, the metric is capable of describing black holes with distinct characteristics by assuming different values of the ADM mass and the magnetic charge. This study investigates the scalar and Dirac perturbations in these black hole spacetimes; in particular, we focus on two different types of solutions, based on distinct horizon structures. The properties of the complex frequencies of the obtained dissipative oscillations are investigated, and the stability of the metric is subsequently addressed. We also elaborate on the possible implications of this study.  相似文献

We formulate a model of noncompact spherical charged objects in the framework of noncommutative field theory. The Einstein-Maxwell field equations are solved with charged anisotropic fluid. We choose matter and charge densities as functions of two parameters instead of defining these quantities in terms of Gaussian distribution function. It is found that the corresponding densities and the Ricci scalar are singular at origin, whereas the metric is nonsingular, indicating a spacelike singularity. The numerical solution of the horizon equation implies that there are two or one or no horizon(s) depending on the mass. We also evaluate the Hawking temperature, and find that a black hole with two horizons is evaporated to an extremal black hole with one horizon.  相似文献

With a new tortoise coordinate transformation, we discussed the quantum nonthermal radiation characteristics near the event horizon by studying the Hamilton-Jacobi equation of a scalar particle in the curve space-time, and obtained the event horizon surface gravity and the Hawking temperature on the event horizon. The results showed that there is a crossing of particle energy near the event horizon. We derived the maximum overlap of the positive and negative energy levels. It was also found that the Hawking temperature of a black hole depends on not only the time, but also the angle. There is a problem of dimension in the usual tortoise coordinate, so the present results obtained by using a correct-dimension new tortoise coordinate transformation may be more reasonable.  相似文献

This work considers the influence of the gravitational field produced by a charged and rotating black hole (Kerr–Newman spacetime) on a charged massive scalar field. We obtain exact solutions of both angular and radial parts of the Klein–Gordon equation in this spacetime, which are given in terms of the confluent Heun functions. From the radial solution, we obtain the exact wave solutions near the exterior horizon of the black hole, and discuss the Hawking radiation of charged massive scalar particles.  相似文献

We calculate the free energy and the entropy of a scalar field in terms of the brick-wall method in the background of the Schwarzschild–de Sitter space–time. We obtain the entropy of a black hole and the cosmic entropy at nonasymptotic flat space. When the cut-off satisfies the proper condition, the entropy of a black hole is proportional to the area of a black hole horizon, and the cosmic entropy is proportional to the cosmic horizon area.  相似文献

The destruction of a regular black hole event horizon might provide us the possibility to access regions inside black hole event horizon. This paper investigates the possibility of overcharging a charged Taub-NUT regular black hole via the scattering of a charged field and the absorption of a charged particle. For the charged scalar field scattering, both the near-extremal and extremal charged Taub-NUT regular black holes cannot be overcharged. For the test charged particle absorption, the result shows that the event horizon of the extremal charged Taub-NUT regular black hole still exists while the event horizon of the near-extremal one can be destroyed. However, if the charge and energy cross the event horizon in a continuous path, the near-extremal charged Taub-NUT regular black hole might not be overcharged.  相似文献

We develop the regular black hole solutions by incorporating the 1-loop quantum correction to the Newton potential and a time delay between an observer at the regular center and one at infinity. We define the maximal time delay between the center and the infinity by scanning the mass of black holes such that the sub-Planckian feature of the Kretschmann scalar curvature is preserved during the process of evaporation. We also compare the distinct behavior of the Kretschmann curvature for black holes with asymptotically Minkowski cores and those with asymptotically de-Sitter cores, including Bardeen and Hayward black holes. We expect that such regular black holes may provide more information about the construction of effective metrics for Planck stars.  相似文献

We consider compact boson stars that arise for a V-shaped scalar field potential. They represent a one parameter family of solutions of the scaled Einstein–signum–Gordon equations. We analyze the physical properties of these solutions and determine their domain of existence. Along their physically relevant branch emerging from the compact Q-ball solution, their mass increases with increasing radius. Employing arguments from catastrophe theory we argue that this branch is stable, until the maximal value of the mass is reached. There the mass and size are on the order of magnitude of the Schwarzschild limit, and thus the spiraling respectively oscillating behaviour, well known for compact stars, sets in.  相似文献

Kinnersley has discussed the space–time of an arbitrarily accelerating point mass. We select a simple case in which the black hole is uniformly accelerated and the mass does not vary with time. We adopt thin film brick-wall model to calculate the entropy of black hole. We find that both the temperature and the entropy density of black hole can be calculated at every point on the horizon. This result indicates that the conclusion that black hole entropy is proportional to its area can be applied to horizon not only globally, but also locally.  相似文献

We study black hole solutions of Einstein gravity coupled to a specific global symmetry breaking Goldstone model described by an O(3) isovector scalar field in four spacetime dimensions. Our configurations are static and spherically symmetric, approaching at infinity a Minkowski spacetime background. A set of globally regular, particle-like solutions are found in the limit of vanishing event horizon radius. These configurations can be viewed as ‘regularised’ global monopoles, since their mass is finite and the spacetime geometry has no deficit angle. As an unusual feature, we notice the existence of extremal black holes in this model defined in terms of gravity and scalar fields only.  相似文献

The curved space-time Klein-Gordon equation in a globally regular space-time of a Schwarzschild black hole is solved, and its exact solution is obtained. The wave functions of a scalar particle inside the black hole are discussed by means of numerical analysis. The anomalous behaviors of the scalar particle in the central region of the black hole and in the interior neighborhood of the Schwarzschild event horizon are studied with the help of approximate solutions, which are compared with the exact one in these two regions.  相似文献

We study a scalar field theory with a non-standard kinetic term minimally coupled to gravity. We establish the existence of compact boson stars, that is, static solutions with compact support of the full system with self-gravitation taken into account. Concretely, there exist two types of solutions, namely compact balls on the one hand, and compact shells on the other hand. The compact balls have a naked singularity at the center. The inner boundary of the compact shells is singular, as well, but it is, at the same time, a Killing horizon. These singular, compact shells therefore resemble black holes.  相似文献

We first review the accelerating, rotating and charged Plebanski–Demianski (PD) black hole, which includes the Kerr–Newman rotating black hole and the Taub-NUT spacetime. The main feature of this black hole is that it has 4 horizons like event horizon, Cauchy horizon and two accelerating horizons. In the non-extremal case, the surface area, entropy, surface gravity, temperature, angular velocity, Komar energy and irreducible mass on the event horizon and Cauchy horizon are presented for PD black hole. The entropy product, temperature product, Komar energy product and irreducible mass product have been found for event horizon and Cauchy horizon. Also their sums are found for both horizons. All these relations are dependent on the mass of the PD black hole and other parameters. So all the products are not universal for PD black hole. The entropy and area bounds for two horizons have been investigated. Also we found the Christodoulou–Ruffini mass for extremal PD black hole. Finally, using first law of thermodynamics, we also found the Smarr relation for PD black hole.  相似文献

Charged massive scalar fields are considered in the gravitational and electromagnetic field produced by a dyonic black hole with a cosmic string along its axis of symmetry. Exact solutions of both angular and radial parts of the covariant Klein–Gordon equation in this background are obtained, and are given in terms of the confluent Heun functions. The role of the presence of the cosmic string in these solutions is showed up. From the radial solution, we obtain the exact wave solutions near the exterior horizon of the black hole, and discuss the Hawking radiation spectrum and the energy flux.  相似文献

Previously it had been thought that a stationary black hole with an exterior devoid of matter can be parametrized only by mass, angular momentum, and electric charge. We show here that scalar charge is also an admissible parameter. Our starting point is a new solution of Einstein's equations with stress-energy of electromagnetic and conformal scalar fields which we presented earlier. It has a black-hole geometry, and is parametrized by electric and scalar charges. Its conformal scalar field is unbounded at the event horizon, and we originally regarded this feature as incompatible with a black hole interpretation. However, following a suggestion of B. DeWitt, we show here that the infinity in the scalar field need not be physically pathological: it is not associated with an infinite potential barrier for test scalar charges; it does not cause the termination of any trajectories of these test particles at finite proper time; and it is not connected with unbounded tidal accelerations between neighboring trajectories. In view of these facts, we now regard the new solution as a genuine black hole solution.  相似文献

We discuss the most general effective Lagrangian obtained from the assumption that the degrees of freedom to be quantized, in a black hole, are on the horizon. The effective Lagrangian depends only on the induced metric and the extrinsic curvature of the (fluctuating) horizon, and the possible operators can be arranged in an expansion in powers of MP1/M, where MP1 is the Planck mass and M the black hole mass. We perform a semiclassical expansion of the action with a formalism which preserves general covariance explicitly. Quantum fluctuations over the classical solutions are described by a single scalar field living in the (2 + 1)-dimensional world-volume swept by the horizon, with a given coupling to the background geometry. We discuss the resulting field theory and we compute the black hole entropy with our formalism.  相似文献

Applying the entropy density near the event horizon, we obtained the result that the radiation energy flux of the black hole is always proportional to the quartic of the temperature of its event horizon. That is to say, the thermal radiation of the black hole always satisfies the generalized Stefan–Boltzmann law. The derived generalized Stefan–Boltzmann coefficient is no longer a constant. When the cut-off distance and the thin film thickness are both fixed, it is a proportional coefficient which is related to the black hole mass, the kinds of radiation particles and space–time metric near the event horizon. In this paper, we have put forward a thermal particle model in curved space–time. By this model, the result has been obtained that when the thin film thickness and the cut-off distance are both fixed, the radiation energy flux received by observer far away from the Schwarzschild black hole is proportional to the average radial effusion velocity of the radiation particles in the thin film, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the observer and the black hole.  相似文献

Based on the generalized uncertainty relation, the corrected Beckenstein–Hawking black hole entropy in the higher dimensional space–times is calculated. Using the corrected entropy, the black hole radiation is obtained in the tunneling formalism.  相似文献
