High-level B3LYP/6-311+G(3df,2p) density functional calculations have been carried out for a series of saturated chalcogenoaldehydes: CH(X)-CH(2)-CH(2)YH (X, Y=O, S, Se, Te). Our results indicate that in CH(X)-CH(2)-CH(2)YH (X=Y=O, S, Se) the X-H...X intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB) competes in strength with the X...XH chalcogen-chalcogen interaction, while the opposite is found for the corresponding tellurium-containing analogues. For those derivatives in which X does not equal Y, X being the more electronegative atom, the situation is more complicated due to the existence of two non-equivalent X-H and Y-H tautomers. The Y-H tautomer is found to be lower in energy than the X-H tautomer, independently of the nature of X and Y. For X=O, S, Se and Y=S, Se the most stable conformer b is the one exhibiting a Y-H...X IHB. Conversely when Y=Te, the chelated conformer d, stabilized through a X...YH chalcogen-chalcogen interaction is the global minimum of the potential energy surface. Systematically the IHB and the chalcogen-chalcogen interactions observed for saturated compounds are much weaker than those found for their unsaturated analogues. This result implies that the nonbonding interactions involving chalcogen atoms, mainly Se and Te, are not always strongly stabilizing. This conclusion is in agreement with the fact that intermolecular interactions between Se and Te containing systems with bases bearing dative groups are very weak. We have also shown that these interactions are enhanced for unsaturated compounds, through an increase of the charge delocalization within the system, in a mechanism rather similar to the so call Resonance Assisted Hydrogen Bonds (RAHB). The chalcogen-chalcogen interactions will be also large, due to the enhancement of the X-->Y dative bond, if the molecular environment forces the interacting atoms X and Y to be close each other.  相似文献

The microwave spectra of propa-1,2-dienyl selenocyanate, H(2)C==C==CHSeC[triple bond]N, and cyclopropyl selenocyanate, C(3)H(5)SeC[triple bond]N, are reported. The spectra of the ground and two vibrationally excited states of the (80)Se isotopologue and the spectrum of the ground state of the (78)Se isotopologue were assigned for one rotameric form of H(2)C==C[double bond, length as m-dash]CHSeC[triple bond]N. This conformer is characterized by a C-C-Se-C dihedral angle of 129(5) degrees from synperiplanar (0 degrees ) and is shown to be the global minimum of H(2)C[double bond, length as m-dash]C[double bond, length as m-dash]CHSeC[triple bond]N. The spectra of the ground and of three vibrationally excited states of the (80)Se isotopologue, as well as of the ground state of the (78)Se isotopologue of one rotamer of C(3)H(5)SeC[triple bond]N were assigned. This conformer has a H-C-Se-C dihedral angle of 80(4) degrees from synperiplanar and is at least 3 kJ mol(-1) more stable than any other form of the molecule. The microwave study has been augmented by quantum chemical calculations at the B3LYP/6-311+ +G(3df,3pd) and MP2/6-311+ +G(3df,3pd) levels of theory.  相似文献

The energetics of the phenolic O-H bond in a series of 2- and 4-HOC 6H 4C(O)Y (Y = H, CH3, CH 2CH=CH2, C[triple bond]CH, CH2F, NH2, NHCH 3, NO2, OH, OCH3, OCN, CN, F, Cl, SH, and SCH3) compounds and of the intramolecular O...H hydrogen bond in 2-HOC 6H 4C(O)Y, was investigated by using a combination of experimental and theoretical methods. The standard molar enthalpies of formation of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde (2HBA), 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (4HBA), 2'-hydroxyacetophenone (2HAP), 2-hydroxybenzamide (2HBM), and 4-hydroxybenzamide (4HBM), at 298.15 K, were determined by micro- or macrocombustion calorimetry. The corresponding enthalpies of vaporization or sublimation were also measured by Calvet drop-calorimetry and Knudsen effusion measurements. The combination of the obtained experimental data led to Delta f H m (o)(2HBA, g) = -238.3 +/- 2.5 kJ.mol (-1), DeltafHm(o)(4HBA, g) = -220.3 +/- 2.0 kJ.mol(-1), Delta f H m (o)(2HAP, g) = -291.8 +/- 2.1 kJ.mol(-1), DeltafHm(o)(2HBM, g) = -304.8 +/- 1.5 kJ.mol (-1), and DeltafHm(o) (4HBM, g) = -278.4 +/- 2.4 kJ.mol (-1). These values, were used to assess the predictions of the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p), B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p), B3LYP/aug-cc-pVDZ, B3P86/6-31G(d,p), B3P86/6-311+G(d,p), B3P86/aug-cc-pVDZ, and CBS-QB3 methods, for the enthalpies of a series of isodesmic gas phase reactions. In general, the CBS-QB3 method was able to reproduce the experimental enthalpies of reaction within their uncertainties. The B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) method, with a slightly poorer accuracy than the CBS-QB3 approach, achieved the best performance of the tested DFT models. It was further used to analyze the trends of the intramolecular O...H hydrogen bond in 2-HOC 6H 4C(O)Y evaluated by the ortho-para method and to compare the energetics of the phenolic O-H bond in 2- and 4-HOC 6H 4C(O)Y compounds. It was concluded that the O-H bond "strength" is systematically larger for 2-hydroxybenzoyl than for the corresponding 4-hydroxybenzoyl isomers mainly due to the presence of the intramolecular O...H hydrogen bond in the 2-isomers. The observed differences are, however, significantly dependent on the nature of the substituent Y, in particular, when an intramolecular H-bond can be present in the radical obtained upon cleavage of the O-H bond.  相似文献

The effect of N-protonation and N-deprotonation on structure, NH bond dissociation enthalpies (BDEs) and stabilities of radicals formed on H-abstraction from nitrogen atom of carbamates and their thio- and seleno-analogs have been investigated. For those molecules where experimental results are available for comparison, the ROB3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-31+G* theoretical level is in agreement within the estimated experimental uncertainty. The NH BDE of carbamates H2NC(=X)YCH3 [X = O; Y = O, S, Se] are higher but lower when X = S, Se and Y = O, S, Se in comparison to NH BDE of NH3. DFT calculations indicate that the NH bond dissociation enthalpies are decreased by protonation and deprotonation at nitrogen atom; but the effect of deprotonation is rather smaller than the protonation. The variations are analyzed in terms of stabilities of molecules, their protonated and deprotonated species along with their respective radicals. The electron delocalization from nitrogen, X and Y atoms, electrostatic interactions, conjugative interactions and spin delocalization are the important factors affecting the stability. The spin delocalization and shift of radical center to chalcogen X (X = S, Se) are the main determinants for radical stability.  相似文献

A combined experimental and theoretical study on the gas-phase basicity and acidity of a series of cyanovinyl derivatives is presented. The gas-phase basicities and acidities of (N[triple chemical bond]C--CH==CH--X, X=CH(3), NH(2)) were obtained by means of Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometry techniques. The corresponding calculated values were obtained at the G3B3 level of theory. The effects of exchanging CH(3) for SiH(3), and NH(2) for PH(2), were analyzed at the same level of theory. For the neutral molecules, the Z isomer is always the dominant species under standard gas-phase conditions at 298 K. The loss of the proton from the substituent X was found systematically to be much more favorable than deprotonation of the HC==CH linking group. The corresponding isomeric E ion is much more stable than the Z ion, so that only the former should be found in the gas phase. The most significant structural changes upon deprotonation occur for the methyl and amino derivatives because, in both cases, deprotonation of X leads to a significant charge delocalization in the corresponding anion. Protonation takes place systematically at the cyano group, whereby the isomeric E ion is again more stable than the Z ion. Push-pull effects explain the preference of aminoacrylonitrile to be protonated at the cyano group, which also explains the high basicity of this derivative relative to other members of the analyzed series that present rather similar gas-phase basicities, GB approximately 780 kJ mol(-1), indicating that the different nature of the substituents has only a weak effect on the intrinsic basicity of the cyano group. The cyanovinyl derivatives have a significantly stronger gas-phase acidity than that of the corresponding vinyl compounds CH(2)==CH--X. This acidity-strengthening effect of the cyano group is attributed to the greater stabilization of the anion with respect to the corresponding neutral compound.  相似文献

To investigate the nature of weak nonbonded selenium...halogen interactions (Se...X interactions; X = F, Cl, and Br), three types of model compounds [2-(CH(2)X)C(6)H(4)SeY (1-3), 3-(CH(2)X)-2-C(10)H(6)SeY (4-6), and 2-XC(6)H(4)CH(2)SeY (7-9); Y = CN, Cl, Br, SeAr, and Me] were synthesized, and their (77)Se NMR spectroscopic behaviors were analyzed in CDCl(3). The gradual upfield shifts of (77)Se NMR absorptions observed for series 1-3 and 4-6 suggested that the strength of Se...X interaction decreases in the order of Se...F > Se...Cl > Se...Br. The quantum chemical calculations at the B3LYP/631H level using the polarizable continuum model (PCM) revealed that the most stable conformer for 1-3 is the one with an intramolecular short Se...X atomic contact in CHCl(3) (epsilon = 4.9) and also that the n(X) --> sigma(Se-Y) orbital interaction (E(Se...X)) can reasonably explain the order of strength for the Se...X interactions. On the other hand, the (77)Se NMR absorptions observed for series 7-9 did not shift significantly from the reference compounds (C(6)H(5)CH(2)SeY), indicating the absence of the Se...X interaction for 7-9 presumably due to attenuation of basicity for the halogen atom that is substituted directly to the aromatic ring. These observations suggested that the n(X) --> sigma(Se-Y) orbital interaction is a dominant factor for formation of weak Se...X interactions. Electron correlation was also suggested to be important for the stability.  相似文献

To investigate the nature of nonbonded Se...O interactions, three series of 2-substituted benzeneselenenyl derivatives [2-(CHO)C6H4SeX (1), 2-(CH2OH)C6H4SeX, (2), 2-(CH2OiPr)C6H4SeX (3); X = Cl, Br, CN, SPh, SeAr, Me] were synthesized. The 17O NMR absorption observed for 17O-enriched aldehydes 1 appeared upfield relative to benzaldehyde (PhCHO), while the opposite downfield shifts relative to benzyl alcohol (PhCH2OH) were observed for 17O-enriched alcohols 2 and ethers 3. The magnitude of both the upfield and the downfield shifts became larger as the electron-withdrawing ability of a substituent X increased. Quantum chemical calculations at the B3LYP level revealed that for all model compounds the most stable conformer has an intramolecular nonbonded Se.O interaction. Thus, the relative 17O NMR chemical shifts (DeltadeltaO) for 1-3 would reflect the strengths of the Se...O interactions. The natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis demonstrated that the stabilization energy due to an nO --> sigma Se-X orbital interaction (ESe...O) correlates with the Se...O atomic distance on a single curve irrespective of the type of the O atom. On the other hand, the atoms in molecules (AIM) analysis showed that the nonbonded Se...O interactions can be characterized by the presence of a bond critical point, the total energy density (HSe...O) of which decreases with strengthening of the interaction. The results suggested that Se...O interactions have a dominant covalent character rather than an electrostatic one.  相似文献

[1,3]-Sigmatropic migrations of the nitroso group in the systems ON-X-CH=X (X = O, S, Se, NH, CH2) were studied by MP2(fc)/6-311+G** and B3LYP/6-311+G** quantum-chemical calculations. The energy barrier in the process was estimated at 2.4 (2.5), 20.0 (25.0), and 22.3 (23.4) kcal/mol for X = O, NH, and CH2, respectively. The energy minima for X = S and X = Se correspond to cyclic structures with two-coordinate NO group, which are more stable than acyclic structures by 9.3 (4.3) (X = S) or 13.1 (5.7) kcal/mol (X = Se).  相似文献

The magnitude of the stabilizing interaction between an aliphatic C[bond]H bond attached to an ammonium nitrogen and a carbonyl oxygen was evaluated by ab initio calculations at the MP2/6-311++G** level of theory. Attractive R(3)N(+)-C-H...O[double bond]C interactions play an important role in supramolecular recognition and various types of stereoselective catalysis. Our calculations show that R(3)N(+)-C-H...O[double bond]C is the strongest hydrogen bond of the C-H...O type known to date. Such hydrogen bonds remain as stabilizing interactions even in water for amide acceptors.  相似文献

利用理论方法研究了乙醛二聚体内的氢键. 在MP2/6-31+G(d), B3LYP/6-31+G(d), B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)和B3LYP/6-311++G(3df,2p)水平上, 利用常规方法和均衡校正方法对3种稳定的乙醛二聚体进行了几何优化和振动频率计算.

The gas-phase acidity of CH3-CH2XH (X=S, Se, Te), CH2=CHXH (X=S, Se, Te) and PhXH (X=S, Se) compounds was measured by means of Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. To analyze the role that unsaturation plays on the intrinsic acidity of these systems, a parallel theoretical study, in the framework of the G2 and the G2(MP2) theories, was carried out for all ethyl, ethenyl (vinyl), ethynyl, and phenyl O-, S-, Se-, and Te-containing derivatives. Unsaturated compounds are stronger acids than their saturated analogues, because of the strong pi-electron donor ability of the heteroatoms that contributes to a large stabilization of the unsaturated anions. Ethynyl derivatives are stronger acids than vinyl compounds, while phenyl derivatives have an intrinsic acidity intermediate between that of the corresponding vinyl and ethynyl analogues. The CH2=CHXH vinyl compounds (enol-like) behave systematically as slightly stronger acids than their CH3-C(H)X (keto-like) tautomers. Vinyl derivatives are stronger acids than ethyl compounds, because the anion stabilization attributable to unsaturation is greater than that undergone in the neutral compounds. Conversely, the enhanced acidity of the ethynyl derivatives with respect to the vinyl compounds is due to two concomitant effects, the stabilization of the anion and the destabilization of the neutral compound. The acidities of ethyl, vinyl, and ethynyl derivatives containing heteroatoms of Groups 14, 15, and 16 of the periodic table are closely related, and reflect the differences in electronegativity of the CH3CH2-, CH2=CH-, and CH[triple chemical bond]C- groups.  相似文献

The B3LYP density functional studies on the dirhodium tetracarboxylate-catalyzed C-H bond activation/C-C bond formation reaction of a diazo compound with an alkane revealed the energetics and the geometry of important intermediates and transition states in the catalytic cycle. The reaction is initiated by complexation between the rhodium catalyst and the diazo compound. Driven by the back-donation from the Rh 4d(xz) orbital to the C[bond]N sigma*-orbital, nitrogen extrusion takes place to afford a rhodium[bond]carbene complex. The carbene carbon of the complex is strongly electrophilic because of its vacant 2p orbital. The C[bond]H activation/C[bond]C formation proceeds in a single step through a three-centered hydride transfer-like transition state with a small activation energy. Only one of the two rhodium atoms works as a carbene binding site throughout the reaction, and the other rhodium atom assists the C[bond]H insertion reaction. The second Rh atom acts as a mobile ligand for the first one to enhance the electrophilicity of the carbene moiety and to facilitate the cleavage of the rhodium[bond]carbon bond. The calculations reproduce experimental data including the activation enthalpy of the nitrogen extrusion, the kinetic isotope effect of the C[bond]H insertion, and the reactivity order of the C[bond]H bond.  相似文献

Reduction of [M(CO)2(eta-RC[triple bond]CR')Tp']X {Tp' = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate, M = Mo, X = [PF6]-, R = R' = Ph, C6H4OMe-4 or Me; R = Ph, R' = H; M = W, X = [BF4]-, R = R' = Ph or Me; R = Ph, R' = H} with [Co(eta-C5H5)2] gave paramagnetic [M(CO)2(eta-RC[triple bond]CR')Tp'], characterised by IR and ESR spectroscopy. X-Ray structural studies on the redox pair [Mo(CO)2(eta-PhC[triple bond]CPh)Tp'] and [Mo(CO)2(eta-PhC[triple bond]CPh)Tp'][PF6] showed that oxidation is accompanied by a lengthening of the C[triple bond]C bond and shortening of the Mo-C(alkyne) bonds, consistent with removal of an electron from an orbital antibonding with respect to the Mo-alkyne bond, and with conversion of the alkyne from a three- to a four-electron donor. Reduction of [Mo(CO)(NCMe)(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'][PF6] with [Co(eta-C5H5)2] in CH2Cl2 gives [MoCl(CO)(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'], via nitrile substitution in [Mo(CO)(NCMe)(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'], whereas a similar reaction with [M(CO){P(OCH2)3CEt}(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp']+ (M = Mo or W) gives the phosphite-containing radicals [M(CO){P(OCH2)3CEt}(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp']. ESR spectroscopic studies and DFT calculations on [M(CO)L(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'] {M = Mo or W, L = CO or P(OCH2)3CEt} show the SOMO of the neutral d5 species (the LUMO of the d4 cations) to be largely d(yz) in character although much more delocalised in the W complexes. Non-coincidence effects between the g and metal hyperfine matrices in the Mo spectra indicate hybridisation of the metal d-orbitals in the SOMO, consistent with a rotation of the coordinated alkyne about the M-C2 axis.  相似文献

The microwave spectrum of 3-butyne-1-selenol has been studied by means of Stark-modulation microwave spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations employing the B3LYP/aug-cc-pVTZ and MP2/6-311++G(3df,3pd) methods. Rotational transitions attributable to the H80SeCH2CH2C[triple bond]CH and H78SeCH2CH2C[triple bond]CH isotopologues of two conformers of this molecule were assigned. One of these conformers possesses an antiperiplanar arrangement for the atoms Se-C-C-C, while the other is synclinal and seems to be stabilized by the formation of a weak intramolecular hydrogen bond between the hydrogen atom of the selenol group and the pi electrons of the CC triple bond. The energy difference between these conformers was determined to be 0.2(5) kJ/mol by relative intensity measurements, and the hydrogen-bonded form was slightly lower in energy.  相似文献

[structure: see text] The synthesis and characterization of a series of low-valent organoselenium compounds derived from 1-bromo-4-tert-butyl-2,6-di(formyl)benzene (22) is described. The synthesis of diselenide 25 was achieved by the lithiation route whereas bis(4-tert-butyl-2,6-di(formyl)phenyl) diselenide (26) was synthesized by treating 22 with disodium diselenide. A series of monoselenides (27, 28, and 29) was obtained by facile nucleophilic substitution of bromine in 22, using the corresponding selenolates as nucleophiles. The halogenation reactions of bis(4-tert-butyl-2,6-di(formyl)phenyl) diselenide (26) did not afford the corresponding selenenyl halides but resulted in the isolation of an unexpected cyclic selenenate ester 34 as a product. The selenide 32 was synthesized by the treatment of dimethoxymethyl diselenide with trilithiated 2-bromo-5-tert-butyl-N,N'-di(phenyl)isophthalamide. The existence of potential Se...O intramolecular nonbonding interactions was examined by IR, (1)H, and (77)Se NMR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, and computational studies. The X-ray crystal structures of 26 and 27, having two ortho formyl groups, reveal the absence of any Se...O interactions. However, the Se...O interactions were observed in the selenenate ester 34 where one of the formyl groups has been utilized for the selenenate ring formation. The crystal structures of 26 and 27 exhibited intermolecular short-range C-H...Se interactions (hydrogen bonding). Although there are four heteroatoms in carbamoyl moieties ortho to selenium capable of forming a five-membered ring on intramolecular coordination, no such intramolecular Se...X (X = N, O) interaction was observed in the crystal structure of 32. The density functional theory calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G* level predicted that for all the diformyl systems (47a-c, 48a-c), the anti, anti conformer (when both formyl oxygen atoms point away from the selenium) is more stable. This preference was found to be reversed in the monoformyl-substituted systems (50a,b, 51a,b), where the syn conformer (when formyl oxygen is near the selenium) is energetically more favorable than the anti conformer.  相似文献

Trichloromethanesulfenyl acetate, CCl 3SOC(O)CH 3, belongs to the family of sulfenic esters. This molecule has been characterized by vibrational spectroscopy. The conformational and geometrical properties of this species have been determined by IR and Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and quantum chemical calculations. Geometry optimizations of the most stable forms were performed with ab initio (HF, MP2) and density functional theory (B3LYP) methods. According to our data, this compound results in a gauche-syn conformer with C 1 symmetry (gauche orientation around the S-O bond and syn orientation of the CO double bond with respect to the S-O single bond) for the most stable geometry, and trans-syn conformer with C s symmetry (trans orientation around the S-O bond and syn orientation of the CO double bond with respect to the S-O single bond) for the second stable conformer (1.1 and 0.53 kcal/mol higher in energy than the most stable C 1 form according to the matrix FTIR spectroscopy and MP2/6-31G* level of the theory, respectively). The crystalline solid (monoclinic, P2 1/ n, a = 8.0152(17) A, b = 5.7922(13) A, c = 17.429(4) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees , beta = 100.341(3) degrees ) consists exclusively of the main form. The geometrical parameters (X-ray diffraction) are d C-Cl = 1.767(19) A, d C-S = 1.797(2) A, d S-O = 1.663(14) A, d CO = 1.189(2) A, d O-C = 1.389(3) A, d C-C = 1.483(3) A, angles Cl-C-Cl = 110.3(11) degrees , Cl-C-S = 111.8(12) degrees , C-S-O = 97.4(8) degrees , S-O-C = 116.7(11) degrees , O-CO = 122.8(19) degrees , OC-C = 127.1(2) degrees , and the main torsion angles are delta(CSOC) = 105.9(15) degrees and delta(SOC(O)) = 7.6(3) degrees . The geometrical data calculated with B3LYP/6-31G++(3df,3pd), B3LYP/6-311G++(3df,3pd), B3LYP/aug-cc-pVTZ, and MP2/6-31G* are in good agreement with diffraction data.  相似文献

Structures of 8-G-1-[p-YC6H4Se(O)]C10H6 [1 (G = H), 2 (G = F), 3 (G = Cl), and 4 (G = Br): Y = H, OMe, OCH2Ph, t-Bu, Me, Cl, and NO2] and (1-C10H7)2SeO (5) are investigated by the X-ray crystallographic analysis. Structures of 1 are all A with regard to the naphthyl group (1 (A)), where the Se-C(Ar) and Se-O bonds are perpendicular to and parallel to the naphthyl plane, respectively. Those of 2-4 are also A. Since structures of 8-G-1-(p-YC6H4Se)C10H6 [7 (G = F), 8 (G = Cl), and 9 (G = Br)] are all B, the results exhibit that B of 7-9 change dramatically to A of 2-4 with the introduction of O atoms. The factor to determine the A structures of 1-4 by O is called O dependence. The origin of the O dependence is the nonbonded np(O)- - -pi(Nap) interaction, which results in CT from np(O) to pi(Nap) since O in 1-4 is highly electron rich due to the polar Se+=O- bond and pi(Nap) acts as an acceptor. There are two types of np(O)'s, npy(O) and npz(O), if the directions of the Se-O bond and the p-orbitals of pi(Nap) are taken in the x- and z-axes, respectively. Double but independent np(O)- - -pi(Nap) interactions in 5 lead to 5 (AA). The conformation of the p-YC6H4Se group in 1 changes depending on Y (Y dependence), although the effect is not strong. The Y dependence is explained on the basis of the magnitude of CT of the np(O)-->pi(Ar) type in 1, in addition to the np(O)- - -pi(Nap) interaction. The structure around the Se=O group in 1 is close to that of 5 (AA), if the accepting ability of the p-YC6H4Se group is similar to that of the naphthyl group. A of 2-4 are further stabilized by the np(G)- - -sigma(Se-O) 3c-4e interactions, which are called G dependence. QC calculations performed on the methyl analogues of 1-4 (11-14, respectively) reproduced the observed structures, supported the above discussion, and revealed the energy profiles. The energy-lowering effect of the O dependence would be close to the G dependence of the nonbonded n(Br)- - -sigma(Se-O) 3c-4e interaction in 14 if the steric repulsion between Br and Se is contained in the G dependence. The value is roughly predicted as 20 kJ mol(-1). The structures of 1-5 are well explained by O, G, and Y dependences.  相似文献

In CDCl(3) at 300 K, 2-aryl-substituted cis- and trans-3-isopropyldecahydroquinazolines and trans-3-phenyldecahydroquinazolines proved to be three-component (r(1)[bond]o[bond]r(2)) ring[bond]chain tautomeric mixtures, whereas only ring-closed tautomers could be detected for the 3-methyl-substituted analogues. The proportions of the ring-chain tautomeric forms at equilibrium were strongly influenced by the N-substitutents and the cis-trans ring junction and could be described by the equation log K(X) = rho sigma(+) + log K(X=H). These are the first examples among 2-aryl-1,3-N,N-heterocycles of a three-component ring-chain tautomeric equilibrium characterized by a Hammett-type equation. The stabilities of the ring-closed forms of cis- and trans-2-aryldecahydroquinazolines and the corresponding 3,1-benzoxazines were found to increase in the following sequence of the heteroatom at position 3: NPh < N-i-Pr < O < NMe.  相似文献

Density functional and coupled cluster calculations on neutral monodehydro[12]annulenes (C(12)H(10)) reveal a global minimum that should be kinetically stable. At the CCSD(T)/cc-pVDZ//BHLYP/6-31G* level, the unsymmetrical CTCTC conformer 1a lies at least 3 kcal/mol below all other isomers studied. The two isomers closest in energy to 1a are Mo?bius structure 5a (CCTCC) and all-cis 6a. Isomer 1a can undergo conformational automerization with E(a) = 3.9 kcal/mol, implying that this process would be rapid on the NMR time scale, and computed (1)H NMR parameters (GIAO-B3LYP/6-311+G**//RHF/6-31G*) are presented. Cumulenic dehydro[12]annulene isomers, with 1,2,3-butatriene subunits, were found to be reactive intermediates in the interconversion of different configurations of the alkyne forms. Pathways for configuration change of 1a, and for subsequent rearrangement to biphenyl, were investigated. The 28 kcal/mol overall barrier for the lowest energy pathway connecting 1a to biphenyl suggests that 1a is kinetically stable with respect to valence isomerization.  相似文献

Two novel Mn12 derivatives [Mn12O12(O2CC[triple bond]CH)16(H2O)4] x 3H2O (1) and [Mn12(O2CC[triple bond]CC6H5)16(H2O)4] x 3H2O (2) have been prepared and characterized. Magnetic measurements confirm that both function as single-molecule magnets (SMM), showing frequency-dependent out-of-phase AC susceptibility signals and magnetization hysteresis curves. Thermal stability studies of both complexes were first conducted in the solid state. While complex 1 undergoes a sudden exothermal decomposition at T(onset) = 118 degrees C, complex 2 exhibits a higher stability. Thermolysis reaction of 1 was hence assessed in solution to yield dark red crystals of a two-dimensional Mn(II)-based co-ordination polymer [Mn3(O2CC[triple bond]CH)6(H2O)4] x 2H2O (3), which corresponds to an extended sheet-like structure that crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n; a = 9.2800(2) angstroms, b = 9.4132(2) angstroms, c = 14.9675(3) angstroms, beta = 99.630(1) degrees, and Z = 2. Finally, the magnetic properties of complex 3 have been studied on an oriented single crystal over two different orientations of the reciprocal vector versus the external field.  相似文献
