The phase relations in the system In2O3–TiO2–MgO at 1100 and 1350°C are determined by a classical quenching method. In this system, there are four pseudobinary compounds, In2TiO5, MgTi2O5 (pseudobrookite type), MgTiO3 (ilmenite type), and Mg2TiO4 (spinel type) at 1100°C. At 1350°C, in addition to these compounds there exist a spinel-type solid solution Mg2−xIn2xTi1−xO4 (0≤x≤1) and a compound In6Ti6MgO22 with lattice constants a=5.9236(7) Å, b=3.3862(4) Å, c=6.3609(7) Å, β=108.15(1)°, and q=0.369, which is isostructural with the monoclinic In3Ti2FeO10 in the system In2O3–TiO2–MgO. The relation between the lattice constants of the spinel phase and the composition nearly satisfies Vegard's law. In6Ti6MgO22 extends a solid solution range to In20Ti17Mg3O67 with lattice constants of a=5.9230(5) Å, b=3.3823(3) Å, c=6.3698(6) Å, β=108.10(5)°, and q=0.360. The distributions of constituent cations in the solid solutions are discussed in terms of their ionic radius and site preference effect.  相似文献

The dependence of alcohol chain length on the isothermal phase behavior of the ternary systems hexadecylrrimethylammonium bromide/alcohol/water has been investigated. A liquid crystalline phase (the normal hexagonal one) occurs in the phase diagrams along the surfactant/water axis and this phase extends in the interior of the diagrams.When the alcohol is methanol, ethanol or butanol, there is in the ternary phase diagram a continuous solution region from the water to the alcoholic corner, and in the butanol case, in addition, a small region of lamellar liquid crystalline phase in the interior of the diagram. When the alcohol chain length is increased, the continuous solution region is divided into two subregions, an aqueousL 1 and an alcoholicL 2. The lamellar phase occupies the center of the phase diagrams and has the capability to incorporate large amounts of water under one-dimensional swelling. On the alcoholic side of the lamellar phase occur a reversed hexagonal liquid crystalline phase and a cubic liquid crystalline phase in the octanolic system; in the decanolic system the cubic phase is missing, but instead another liquid crystalline phase, presumably with rod-structure, occurs in addition to the reversed hexagonal phase.In a decanolic system where the monovalent bromide ion is replaced by the divalent sulphate ion there are the same solution regionsL 1 andL 2, and phase regions with liquid crystalline normal hexagonal and lamellar structures. The lamellar phase has lost much of its capability of incorporating water. That is in analogy with the conditions in anionic systems where the counterion charge has been increased. There is no reversed hexagonal phase, but on the alcoholic side of the lamellar phase, there is the same foreign liquid crystalline phase with a presumed rod-structure as in the monovalent system.  相似文献

Summary. The textural characteristics, including surface area, mean pore diameters, and total pore volume of Cr2O3–CuO/Al2O3 solid catalysts were determined from the low temperature adsorption of N2 at 77 K. The structural properties were investigated using XRD. The surface acidity of calcined samples was determined using two comparable methods, including the non-aqueous titration of acidic groups with n-butylamine and dehydration/dehydrogenation activity of cyclohexanol. XRD patterns assigned a crystalline CuO and γ-Al2O3 for 723 K calcinations products of lower Cr2O3 content. The gradual increase of calcinations temperature promoted the crystallinity of Cr2O3 and resulted in solid–solid interaction of CuO and Cr2O3 forming CuCr2O4. The textural parameters varied with both calcinations temperature and catalyst composition. The surface acid density (DAS) increased with the increase of chromia content up to 0.132 mole% Cr2O3, while the rise of calcinations temperature led to a decrease of surface acidity. The dehydration/dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol as well as n-butylamine titration succeeded in characterizing of surface acidity. Summary. The nitration of aromatic compounds was carried out in the presence of divanadium-substituted molybdophosphoric acid, H5PMo10V2O40, as catalyst and a mixture of nitric acid and acetic anhydride as nitrating agent. In the presence of this heteropolyacid the ortho- and para-nitro compounds were obtained in good to excellent yields under mild reaction conditions.  相似文献

Trirheniumdecaoxide, Re3O10, was obtained by the reaction of ReO2 and ReO3 in an arc-melting furnace. X-ray powder diffraction revealed a tetragonal structure with space group I m2 and lattice constants a=5.171(1) and c=13.371(6) Å. The crystal structure is built up by layers of corner-sharing [ReO5] square pyramids perpendicular to [001] with the apical oxygen pointing up and down alternatingly. These layers are interconnected by disordered [ReO6] octahedra. Early reports on Re2O5 are reviewed in the light of our results.  相似文献

The oxidative cleavage of vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride, THM) with sodium N-chlorobenzenesulfonamide (chloramine-B, CAB) has been kinetically investigated in HCl medium in presence of ruthenium(III) catalyst at 308 K. The oxidation reaction follows the rate law, −d[CAB]/dt = k [CAB] [Ru(III)] [H+] [THM]a [Cl]b, where a and b are less than unity. Variation of ionic strength of the medium and addition of the reaction product, benzenesulfonamide (BSA) had no significant effect on the reaction rate. The change in relative permittivity of the medium affected by changing the solvent composition with acetonitrile has been studied. The stoichiometry of the reaction was found to be 1:1, and N-[(4-amino-2-methylpyrimidine-5-yl)methyl]benzensulfonamide and 2-(4-methylthiazol-5-yl)ethanol were identified as the oxidation products of vitamin B1. The reaction constants involved in the mechanism were computed. The reaction was studied at different temperatures and the overall activation parameters have been evaluated. C6H5SO2NHCl has been postulated as the reactive oxidizing species. The observed results have been explained by plausible mechanisms and the relative rate laws have been deduced. Sesbania rostrata is the most popular green manure legumes in Tamilnadu, India.S. rostrata produces both stem and root nodules. Until this time, no experiments had been performed to assess the superiority of one kind of nodule over the other. The levels of nitrogenous compounds, like nitrite, nitrate, total nitrogen, free amino acids, total soluble proteins, total allantoin, total allantoic acid, and total ureides, were determined in both the stem and root nodules during rainy and dry seasons. During the rainy season, the stem nodules possessed heavy deposition of these N-containing compounds than the root nodules. On the other hand, during the dry season, the root nodules accumulated substantial levels of these nitrogenous compounds. In a similar way, the activities of nitrogenase and nitrate reductase were higher in stem nodules during the rainy season, and the trend was reversed during the dry season, the root nodules having more nitrogenase and nitrate reductase. In consonance with the higher activities of enzymes and gorging of nitrogenous compounds, calorific values were more in the stem nodules during the rainy season. The activities of oxygen scavenging enzymes were higher in stem nodules during the dry season, possibly indicating their role in alleviation of H2O2 and O 2 - city to the nodules. As regards rhizobial population, the root nodules always contained moreRhizobia than that of the stem nodules. The efficiency of the stem and root nodules to fix more nitrogen and synthesize nitrogenous compounds is seasonal. In the dry season, the entire role of N2-fixation seemed to be borne by root noduleRhizobia only, since stem nodules during this period are hardly formed and sparsely distributed.  相似文献

A fast and efficient method for intramolecular heterocyclization of (Z)- and (E)-hex-4-en-1-ols was developed. The method does not cause side reactions of the substrates and provides the cyclic phenylselenoethers in high yields after only few minutes. A catalytic amount of SnCl2 increased the yield, but in the presence of an equimolar amount of SnCl2, formation of corresponding cyclic ethers were almost quantitative and reaction occurred instantaneously under extremely mild experimental conditions. Summary. Four new organic ammonium tetrathiotungstates (NMeenH2)[WS4] (1), (N,N′-dm-1,3-pnH2)[WS4] (2), (1,4-bnH2)[WS4] (3), and (mipaH)2[WS4] (4), (NMeenH2 = N-methylethylenediammonium, N,N′-dm-1,3-pnH2 = N,N′-dimethyl-1,3-propanediammonium, 1,4-bnH2 = 1,4-butanediammonium, and mipaH = monoisopropylammonium) were synthesized by the base promoted cation exchange reaction and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, Raman, UV-Vis and 1H NMR spectroscopy as well as single crystal X-ray crystallography. The structures of 14 consist of [WS4]2− tetrahedra which are linked to the organic ammonium cations via N–H⋯S hydrogen bonding. The strength and number of the S⋯H interactions affect the W–S bond lengths as evidenced by distinct short and long W–S bonds. The IR spectra exhibit splitting of the W–S vibrations, which can be attributed to the distortion of the [WS4]2− tetrahedron. From a comparative study of several known tetrathiotungstates it is observed that a difference of more than 0.033 ? between the longest and shortest W–S bonds in a tetrathiotungstate will result in the splitting of the asymmetric stretching vibration of the W–S bond.  相似文献

The single-crystal X-ray structures of lanthanum, europium, and gadolinium ultraphosphate, RP5O14 (R=rare-earth) are reported herein [monoclinic, P21/c, a=8.8206(1), 8.7491(1), 8.7493(1) Å, b=9.1196(2), 8.9327(1), 8.9189(1) Å, c= 13.1714(2), 12.9768(2), 12.9717(1) Å, β=90.661(1), 90.534(1), 90.6682(3)°, respectively; Z=4; R1=0.0250, 0.0346, 0.0270, respectively]. The structures are all type (I) compounds as classified by Bagieu-Beucher and Tranqui [Bull. Soc. Fr. Miner. Cryst. 93, 505 (1970)]. The minimum RR separations are compared with all other structural reports of lanthanide ultraphosphates. Type (I) compounds have the lowest minimum RR separation, which decreases with atomic number and appears not to perturb the optical properties of any rare-earth ultraphosphate. In each case, R is surrounded exclusively by eight oxygen atoms that form a distorted square antiprism. A P–O network holds together the three-dimensional structure. The magnetic susceptibilities of neodymium, samarium, and gadolinium ultraphosphate as a function of temperature are also reported along with corresponding magnetization measurements. All compounds exhibit a paramagnetic response, following Curie's law except in the regions where crystal field splittings are significant.  相似文献

Summary. A series of dichlorofluorophenyl containing triazolothiadiazoles were obtained by cyclocondensation of triazole with substituted benzoic, aryloxyacetic, and anilinoacetic acids using POCl3 as cyclizing agent. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were characterized and confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, mass spectra, and elemental analysis. Selected compounds were screened for their antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The compound bearing 2,4-dichloro-5-fluorophenyl moiety at position 3, and 6 of the triazolothiadiazole showed excellent activity in vitro primary screening. Compounds with 3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl and 4-fluorophenoxymethyl moieties at position 6 of the triazolothiadiazole showed very good analgesic activity. Triazolothiadiazole with 4-chlorophenyl, 4-fluoro-3-phenoxyphenyl, and 2,4-dichloro-5-fluorophenyl moieties showed excellent antimicrobial activity against the tested strains at 6.25 μg cm−3 concentrations.  相似文献

The Raman spectra of N2O4 solutions in organic solvents have been recorded. The frequencies ofv 1,v 2, andv 3 bands of N2O4 increase with increasing solvent electron-donor properties. Especially large changes ofv 3 N-N stretching band have been observed (254.5 cm–1 in n-hexane, 276.5 cm–1 in 1,4-dioxane). The ab initio calculations have shown that the interaction between N2O4 and electron-donor molecules causes an increase of N-N and N-O stretching and O-N-O bending force constants of N2O4 in agreement with the results of Raman study.  相似文献

The diffusion coefficient of water D w in aqueous solutions of the alkali metal bromides, tetraalkylammonium bromides (methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, and n-butyl) and ammonium bromide at 25°C is reported for concentrations up to 2 mol-dm–3. In addition, values for D w in 2 mol-dm–3 solutions of CsBr, KBr, NaBr, LiBr, and fully deuterated methanol, acetonitrile, and acetone have been measured for temperatures in the range 5 to 50°C. The concentration dependence of the relative water diffusion coefficient D w /D o , where D o is the self-diffusion coefficient of water, has been analyzed in terms of an equation analogous to the Jones-Dole equation for relative viscosity. The B-coefficient for diffusion is well correlated with the viscosity B-coefficient. For the structure-breaking electrolytes CsBr and KBr, D w /D o decreases rapidly with increasing temperature, whereas for the structure-makers NaBr and LiBr, the temperature dependence of D w /D o has the same sign but is much smaller in magnitude. For the nonelectrolyte solutions, the structure-making effect decreases with increasing temperature and the temperature coefficient of D w /D o is positive. It is apparent that, when diffusion of the solvent is being considered, the temperature must be taken into account in the classification of an electrolyte as a structure-breaker or structure-maker.  相似文献

Summary. Recent interest in norvitamin B12-derivatives, homologues of complete vitamin B12-derivatives, lacking the methyl group at carbon 176, stems from the identification of the corrinoid cofactor of the tetrachloroethene reductive dehalogenase of Sulfurospirillum multivorans as 176-nor-pseudovitamin B12. Here we report the partial synthesis of the corrinoid CoαCoβ-dicyano-176-norcobinamide by condensation of cobyric acid and 2-aminoethanol. In addition, the partial synthesis of crystalline Coα-aquo-Coβ-cyanocobyric acid by acid catalyzed hydrolysis of vitamin B12 is detailed, improving the method and the isolation procedure worked out earlier by Bernhauer et al. The solution structure of CoαCoβ-dicyano-176-norcobinamide was studied by spectroscopy and was compared with that of the homologue CoαCoβ-dicyanocobinamide. The title compound, CoαCoβ-dicyano-176-norcobinamide, represents the dicyano-form of a potential biosynthetic precursor of the 176-nor-B12-derivatives, such as 176-nor-pseudovitamin B12.  相似文献

Electronic absorption spectra of complexes of C60 and C70 fullerenes with donors, tetrathiafulvalene and pyranylidene derivatives, were studied in solutions and in the solid state. Charge transfer bands were found in the 680–1300 nm range. The charge transfer energies (hv ct) for the C60 and C70 complexes in solutions are close and almost independent of the solvent polarity. For the C60 complexes in the solid state, the dependence ofhv ct on the ionization potential (IP) of donors was found to behv ct=0.82IP–3.93 eV. In the C60 complexes in the solid state, thehv ct values are 0.15–0.20 eV lower than those in the solution. The linear dependences ofhv ct onIP of donors for the C60 complexes lie 0.6–0.7 eV higher than those in the complexes with tetracyanoethylene (TCNE). This is associated with lower values of the electron affinity of C60 and the energy of the electrostatic interaction in the fullerene complexes as compared to those of the TCNE complexes. The structure of the hydrothermal-grown nonlinear optical crystal KBe2BO3F2 was investigated. A new structure of the R3?c space group with cell parameters of a=4.422(1) Å and c=37.524(3) Å was obtained by powder X-ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement. The new structure is a 1×1×2 superstructure of the previously reported R32 structure with a different stacking sequence of (Be2BO3F2) layers along the c axis. The relationship between the refined structure and the experimental results is discussed. A stacking fault mechanism is proposed for the formation of the superstructure as well as the nonuniformity of the hydrothermal-grown KBBF crystals.  相似文献

Sulfur/oxygen-bridged incomplete cubane-type triphenylphosphine molybdenum and tungsten-clusters [Mo3S4Cl4(H2O)2(PPh3)3]·3THF (1A), [Mo3S4Cl4(H2O)2(PPh3)3]·2THF (2A), [Mo3OS3Cl4(H2O)2(PPh3)3]·2THF (1B), and [W3S4Cl4(H2O)2(PPh3)3]·2THF (1C) were prepared from the corresponding aqua clusters and PPh3 in THF/MeOH. On recrystallization from THF, procedures with and without addition of hexane to the solution gave 1A and 2A, respectively, while the procedures gave no effect on the formation of 1B and 1C. Crystallographic results obtained are as follows: 1A: monoclinic, P21/n, a=17.141(4) Å, b=22.579(5) Å, c=19.069(4) Å, =96.18(2)°, V=7337(3) Å3, Z=4, R(R w)=0.078(0.102); 1C: monoclinic, P2 1/c, a=12.635(1) Å, b=20.216(4) Å, c=27.815(3) Å, =96.16(1)°, V=7062(2) Å3, Z=4, R(R w)=0.071(0.083). If the phenyl groups are ignored, the molecule [Mo3S4Cl4(H2O)2(PPh3)3] in 2A has idealized CS symmetry with the mirror plane perpendicular to the plane determined by the metal atoms, while the molecule in 1A does not have the symmetry. The tungsten compound 1C is isomorphous with the molybdenum compound 2A. 31P NMR spectra of 1A, 2A, and 1C were obtained and compared with similar clusters with dmpe (1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane) ligands.  相似文献

Summary The relative importance of the valencep functions for describing the bonding in the valence isoelectronic Na2, K2, and Cu2 molecules and their positive and negative ions is investigated. In absolute magnitude the contribution of thep functions to the dissociation energy follows the trend Cu>Na>K while by percentage of the dissociation energy the importance of thep functions follows the polarizabilities, i.e. K>Na>Cu.
