Fonctions lipschitziennes et espaces de Sobolev fractionnaires

We consider a semigroup of Markovian and symmetric operators to which we associate fractional Sobolev spaces D^α_p (0 < α < 1 and 1 < p < ∞) defined as domains of fractional powers (−A_p)^α/2, where A_p is the generator of the semigroup in L^p. We show under rather general assumptions that Lipschitz continuous functions operate by composition on D^α_p if p ≥ 2. This holds in particular in the case of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck semigroup on an abstract Wiener space.

We prove that stable Banach spaces, introduced by J. L. Krivine and B. Maurey [7], are weakly sequentially complete and that every spreading model defined on a stable Banach space is stable.

Summary It is shown that on an exotique space V_2n−1 of Kervaire type, we can construct a Morse function having only four critical points, the maximum, the minimum and two points of index n−1 and n.

We show that the obstructions to intrinsick-formality of a graded algebraH ^* lie in the Hochschild cohomologyH H ^m,1 (H ^*/k, H ^*). We calculate explicitly the Hochschild cohomology of the algebraH(ℂP ^∞/ℂP ⁿ ;k) and deduce that the stunted complex projective space ℂP ^∞/ℂP ⁿ is intrinsicallyk-formal for any fieldk.
