First- and second-derivative spectrophoto-metric methods for the simultaneous determination of aluminium and iron in their mixtures are described. The methods are based on the colored complexes formed by aluminium and iron with hematoxylin in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as a surfactant. The zero-crossing method has been utilized to measure the first- and second-derivative value of the derivative spectrum. Aluminium (0.05–1 gml-1) could be determined in the presence of iron (0.09–1.6 gml-1) and vice versa. The detection limits of aluminium and iron are 0.01 and 0.09 gml-1, respectively in the first-derivative mode and 0.014 and 0.1 gml-1 in the second-derivative mode. The proposed method has been applied to the simultaneous determination of aluminium and iron in glasses, phosphate rocks, cement and magnesite alloy.  相似文献

The formation of nucleic acids/8-hydroxyquinoline/yttrium(III) ternary complexes and their fluorescent properties have been studied. The nucleic acids studied include native and thermally denatured calf thymus DNA, fish sperm DNA and yeast RNA. In the range of pH 7.6–8.5, controlled by NH3-NH4C1 buffer, ternary complexes are formed that fluoresce at different wavelengths with different nucleic acids. Based on the fluorescence reactions, sensitive spectrofluorimetric methods for nucleic acids are proposed. In optimal conditions, the calibration curves were linear in the range 0.5–4.0 gml–1 for calf thymus DNA, 0.5–2.5 g ml–1 for fish sperm DNA and 0.5–4.0 g ml–1 for yeast RNA. The limits of determination (3 ) were 0.030 g ml–1 for calf thymus DNA, 0.020 g ml–1 for fish sperm DNA and 0.090 g ml–1 for yeast RNA. Corresponding to the interferences of coexisting substances, six synthetic samples were constructed and the results of determination were satisfactory.  相似文献

Summary The suitability of some developing solvent mixtures has been investigated for the paper-chromatographic separation of the anions fluoride, sulphate, phosphate, oxalate, citrate, selenate and molybdate, which form complexes with metals like thorium, zirconium etc. The solvent mixture acetone-ethanol-n-butanol-water-ammonia (402010302) proved effective in the separation of fluoride, sulphate, phosphate and selenate from a mixture. The blue thorium chelate of the dye -SNADNS-6 has been used as a chromogenic spray for the detection of the anions on the paper, prominent pink spots appearing on a blue back ground. As little as 2 g of fluoride, 10 g of sulphate and phosphate, 15 g oxalate and 25 g of citrate, selenate and molybdate can be detected.
Zusammenfassung Zur papierchromatographischen Trennung von Fluorid, Sulfat, Phosphat, Oxalat, Citrat, Selenat und Molybdat (die mit Thorium, Zirkonium u. a. Komplexe bilden) wurden verschiedene Lösungsmittelgemische geprüft. Das Gemisch Aceton-Äthanol-n-Butanol-Wasser-Ammoniak (402010302) hat sich bei der Trennung von Fluorid, Sulfat, Phosphat und Selenat bewährt. Die Chromatogramme wurden mit einer Lösung des Thoriumkomplexes von -SNADNS-6 besprüht, wobei sich rosa Flecke auf blauem Untergrund entwickeln. Noch. 2 g Fluorid, 10 g Sulfat und Phosphat, 15 g Oxalat, sowie 25 g Citrat, Selenat und Molybdat konnten nachgewiesen werden.

Zusammenfassung Systematische Bestimmungen des Fluoridgehaltes in verschiedenen Wasserproben aus Serbien und in Luftproben aus einigen In-dustriegebieten und aus der Stadt Belgrad wurden durchgeführt. Außerdem wurde der Fluoridgehalt in einigen meistkonsumierten Mineralwässern aus alien Territorien Jugoslawiens geprüft. Etwa 600 Proben wurden analysiert. Die Ergebnisse sollen für die kartographische Erfassung der Verteilung von Fluor im Trinkwasser dienen.
Determination of fluoride in Yugoslavian air and water with an ion-sensitive electrode
Summary Fluoride has been measured in over 600 samples of air and water with an ion-sensitive electrode. The concentrations found in the air samples were 1.6–l08g/m3 for industrial areas, 1.9–25.6g/m3 for urban areas and 1.1–18.4g/m3 for rural areas. Most of the samples had fluoride levels below 20g/m33. The concentrations found in water samples were 0.12–0.34g/litre for drinking water and 0.27–5.6g/litre, for mineral waters.

5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-chloro-4-sulfophenyl)porphine (m-Cl-TPPS4) was synthesized and used for the Spectrophotometric determination of mercury by flow injection analysis. A pseudo-first-order reaction kinetic mechanism was proposed with a rate constant of 0.8 min–1 for Hg(II) withm-Cl-TPPS4 in the presence of 8-hydroxyquinoline in a medium of 1.0M acetic acid and sodium acetate buffer solution (pH 6.22). In the optimum conditions of reaction temperature (85 ° C), stopped-flow time (60 s) and sampling volume (100 l), the method's relative standard deviation was 0.82% (n = 12) at 5.0 g ml–1 mercury, with a linear range of 0–12.0 g ml–1 and an analytical frequency of 60h–1. The detection limit (3) was 0.025 g ml–1. Interference studies showed that most metal ions co-existing with Hg2+ could be tolerated at 100-fold excess levels, but Zn2+, Cu2+ and Mn2+ needed to be masked. The method has been applied to the analysis of water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Fluoride and sulphate complexing of Np(VI) has been studied by controlled-potential coulometry at a constant ionic strength. The values of 1 * and 2 * for fluoride complexes were found to be 9.4 and 8.9, respectively, at an ionic strength =0.5. At an ionic strength =1.0, 1 * and 2 * obtained were 6.6 and 10.5, respectively. Sulphate complexing of Np(VI) was studied only at an ionic strength =0.5. The value of 1 * obtained was 5.6.  相似文献

Differential pulse voltammetric methods have been developed for the simultaneous estimation of the constituents of uranium-iron and uranium-cadmium mixtures in solution. A mixture of 1M H3PO4–1M KH2PO4 (with a pH1.5), was found to be the most ideal supporting electrolyte for both methods, among many that were evaluated for their suitability. In uranium-iron mixtures the calibration for iron was found to be linear up to 150 g ml–1 (r2=0.9986), while that of uranium up to 500 g ml–1 (r2=0.999). Iron at 6.7 g ml–1 level could be determined in the presence of 800 fold uranium (wt/wt) without significant interference. Uranium at 21 g ml–1 level could be analyzed with 5-fold iron (wt/wt). This upper limit of iron was due to the precipitation of iron as phosphate. In the case of uranium — cadmium mixtures, cadmium calibration for cadmium was found to be linear up to 1300 g ml–1 (r2=0.9993). Concentration levels of 4.6 g ml–1 Cd could be determined at a 500-fold excess (wt/wt) of uranium. Uranium calibration was linear up to 500 g ml–1 (r2=0.999) and 21 g ml–1 uranium could tolerate up to a 1000-fold excess of cadmium (wt/wt). Both procedures could tolerate 10 g ml–1 levels of metal ions, such as chromium, copper, manganese, molybdenum and vanadium.  相似文献

Summary The determination of nitrogen in zirconium by charged-particle activation analysis is described. The14N(,n)13N and the14N(p,)11C reactions were used. The13N activity was separated from matrix activity as ammonia by steam-distillation after dissolution of the sample in dilute hydrofluoric acid. The11C activity was separated as carbon dioxide by dissolution of the sample in a mixture of concentrated sulphuric acid, sodium fluoride and potassium periodate, followed by oxidation of the evolved gases with a copper oxideiron oxide-kaolin mixture and trapping of the carbon dioxide in dilute sodium hydroxide solution. The chemical yield of both separations was investigated. The nuclear interference of boron can be neglected, in view of the low boron content. Alpha- and proton-activation yielded the following results for BCR reference materials (alpha-activation results first): CRM 21: 24.6±3.3 and 25.9±0.8g/g (certified value: 26.4±2.5g/g); CRM 56: 12.0±1.1 and 10.5±0.3g/g (certified value: 11.7±1.7g/g); CRM 57: 11.2±0.3g/g (alpha-activation) (certified value: 11.9±1.8g/g).
Die Bestimmung von Stickstoff in Zirkonium durch Aktivierungsanalyse mit geladenen Teilchen
Zusammenfassung Folgende Kernreaktionen wurden angewendet:14N(,n)13N und14N(p,)11C. Nach dem Auflösen der Probe in verdünnter Flußsäure wurde die13N-Aktivität als Ammoniak durch Wasserdampfdestillation von der Aktivität der Matrix abgetrennt. Die11C-Aktivität wurde als Kohlendioxid abgetrennt. Nach dem Auflösen der Probe in einer Mischung aus konzentrierter Schwefelsäure, Natriumfluorid und Kaliumperjodat wurden die entstehenden Gase durch eine Mischung aus Kupferoxid-Eisenoxid-Kaolin oxydiert. Dann folgte die Absorption von Kohlendioxid in verdünnter Natronlauge. Die chemische Ausbeute beider Trennungen wurde untersucht. Der Borgehalt in den Proben ist so klein, daß eine Störreaktion von Bor zu vernachlässigen ist. Folgende Ergebnisse wurden mit einigen BCR-Referenzproben mit Alpha- und Protonenaktivierung erhalten: CRM 21: 24,6 ± 3,3 und 25,9 ± 0,8g/g (gesicherter Wert: 26,4 ± 2,5g/g) CRM 56: 12,0 ± 1,1 und 10,5 ± 0,3g/g (gesicherter Wert: 11,7 ± 1,7g/g) CRM 57: 11,2 ± 0,3g/g (Alpha-Aktivierung) (gesicherter Wert: 11,9 ±1,8g/g)

Summary Permanganate can be determined spectrophotometrically at 548 nm after flow-injection extraction into chloroform of the ion-associate triphenylsulphonium permanganate. The carrier stream was a pH 6 buffer containing 10% (w/v) ammonium fluoride and the reagent stream was 0.10% (w/v) triphenylsulphonium chloride. The injection rate was 20 h–1. The calibration graph is linear up to 40 g ml–1 and the detection limit is 1.10 g ml–1 Mn(VII), based on injection volumes of 250 l. The system has been applied to the determination of manganese in steels and a cupro-nickel alloy.  相似文献

Summary Simultaneous Determination of Chromium(VI) and Chromium(III) by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry with a Chelating Ion-Exchange Flow Injection System A simple method is described for the simultaneous determination of chromium(VI) and chromium(III) in a flow injection system comprising chelating ion-exchange and flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Sampling rates for 2001 and 1 ml sample volumes were 120 and 60 h–1 (240 and 120 speciations per hour), respectively. Typical relative standard deviations were 0.52% for Cr(VI) (0.50g ml–1 and 0.67% for Cr(III) (0.10,g ml–1) and the corresponding limits of detection were 85 ng ml–1, and 16 ng ml–1, respectively.On leave from University of Belgrade.  相似文献

Summary Laser microprobe mass analysis (LAMMA) was applied to characterize aerosol particles collected and separated from 16m to 0.06m by a low pressure cascade impactor. Positive ion LAMMA spectra showed characteristic molecular peaks such as PbCl+, a series of Si2O+–Si2O4 + and NaAl2Si2O2 +–NaAl2Si2O5 +, and TiO+ in 0.06–0.12m, 0.5–1m and 4–8m fraction, respectively. In the negative ion LAMMA spectra, it was observed that the fragment peaks of sulfate ions were deficient above 2m and those of nitrate ions were deficient under 2m. LAMMA allows remarkable insights into the chemical nature of aerosol particles.
Charakterisierung luftgetragener Teilchen durch Laser-Microprobe-Massenspektrometrie
Zusammenfassung Laser-Microprobe-Spektrometrie (LAMMS) wurde zur Analyse atmosphärischen Aerosols herangezogen, welches im Korngrößenbereich zwischen 16m und 0.06m mit einem Niederdruckkaskadenimpaktor fraktioniert gesammelt wurde. Positive LAMMS-Spektren zeigten charakteristische molekulare Peaks, wie etwa PbCl+, eine Serie von Si2O+–Si2O4 + und NaAl2Si2O2 +–NaAl2Si2O5 +, sowie TiO+ in der 0,06–0,12-m,- 0,5–1–m- bzw. 4–8-m-Fraktion. In den negativen LAMMS-Spektren konnten über 2m keine Fragmentpeaks für Sulfationen, unter 2m. keine für Nitrationen beobachtet werden. LAMMS ermöglicht eine bemerkenswerte Einsicht in die chemische Natur von Aerosolteilchen.

The reaction of the tetranuclear trimethylacetate complex Co4(3-OH)2(-OOCCMe3)4(2-OOCCMe3)2(EtOH)6 with pyridine in acetonitrile was studied. Two new compounds, viz., the hexanuclear cobalt(ii) complex Co6py4(3-OH)2(-OOCCMe3)10 (25% yield) and the unusual ionic compound [Co3py3(3-O)(-OOCCMe3)6]+[Co4py(4-O)(-OOCCMe3)7] (5% yield), were prepared. The structures of the new compounds were established by X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

A simple, rapid method for the spectrophotometric determination of niobium in trace amounts is presented, employing 3-hydroxyflavone as a ligand for the complexation of the metal ion and extracting the coloured complex into chloroform from 4M HClO4 solution. Beer's law is obeyed in the range 0.0 to 3.2 g ml–1 Nb(V), with a lower working limit of 0.1 g ml–1 Nb(V). Molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity of the complex at 395 nm are 4.088 × 104l mol–1 cm–1 and 0.002g Nb(V) cm–2, respectively. The stoichiometry of the complex is established as 12 by Job's and mole ratio methods. The method is free from the interference of a large number of analytically important elements. The proposed system handles satisfactorily the analysis of several samples of varying complexity. The results are highly reproducible with a relative standard deviation of 0.34% for 20 g of Nb.  相似文献

Summary Transition metal complexes of the composition [Fe(4-X-bzimpy)2](ClO4)2 [bzimpy = 2,6-bis-(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine and X=H, OH, Cl] show thermally accessible spin-crossover behaviour in solution that depends on both the ligand and the solvent.1H-NMR spectroscopy and UV-visible spectroscopy measurements suggest that ligand substituent effects, solvent donor-acceptor properties and hydrogen-bonding may be employed to fine-tune the ligand field strength and hence to affect the spin-crossover behaviour. The ligand substitution changes in solution are reflected by the magnetic data (X=H:exp=2.50 B; X=OH:exp=4.20 B and X=Cl:exp=4.30 B at 294 K in MeOH), and by the shift of metal-to-ligandcharge-transfer band (X=H, =557 nm; X=OH, =520 nm; X=Cl, =500 nm). [Fe(bzimpy)2](ClO4)2 exhibits a pronounced spin-crossover equilibrium (1A1 5T2) in solution (K sc=0.26 at 293 K; exp=1.30 3.40 B for 213 328 K in MeOH). A small variation of magnetic moments of [Fe(4-OH-bzimpy)2](ClO4)2 (exp=3.77 4.73 B at 220 332 K) might indicate either the existence of (temperature dependent) hydrogen bonding between the ligand and solvent molecules or a temperature dependent variation in the population of the5Eg sublevel. Zusammenfassung Eine neue Methode zur Durchführung gravimetrischer Bestimmungen im Mikrogrammbereich wurde beschrieben; diese beruht im wesentlichen darauf, daß der Niederschlag nicht mehr zusammen mit dem Filter, sondern nach Überführen mit einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel in einem separaten Wägegefäß gewogen wird.Die dazu nötigen Geräte und deren Herstellung wurden beschrieben. Nach dieser Methode wurden folgende Bestimmungen mit zufriedenstellender Richtigkeit durchgeführt: 2,5–25g Al, 5–50g Cu und 5–50g Zn mit Oxin, 2,5–25g Fe(III) und 2,5–25g Ti(IV) mit N-Benzoyl-phenylhydroxylamin, 5–50g Ni und 5–50g Cu mit Salicylaldoxim, 2,5–50g Co(II) und 2,5–50g Fe(III) mit -Nitroso--naphthol sowie 5–50g Chlorid als Silberchlorid.
Precipitation analysis in the microgram-scale: A new method
Summary A new method for gravimetric determinations in the microgram-scale is described. This method is based on the fact that the precipitate is not weighed together with the filter but is transferred to a separate weighingvessel using a suitable solvent. The necessary simple devices and their use are described. The following determinations were carried out with satisfying accuracy: 2,5–25g Al, 5–50g Cu and 5–50g Zn with Oxine, 2,5–25g Fe and 2,5–25g Ti withN-benzoylphenylhydroxylamine, 5–50g Ni and 5–50g Cu with salicylaldoxime, 2,52–50g Co and 2,5–50g Fe with -nitroso--naphthol and 5–50g chloride as silver chloride.

Relatively longer liver technetium tracers such as95mTc (61 d) are useful for the development, evaluation and comparison of new technetium complexes for eventual development of99mTc radiopharmaceuticals. The feasibility of producing96Tc (4.35 d) and95mTc (61 d) was studied by the alpha bombardment of pure Nb targets (93Nb-100%).96Tc was obtained in a yield of 30 Ci/Ah using 16 MeV alphas, but it contained significant activity of95Tc (20 h) Relatively pure96Tc and95mTc was produced in yields of 18 Ci/Ah and about 1 Ci/Ah respectively with alphas of suitable energy and after allowing for suitable cooling periods after the end of bombardment (EOB).  相似文献

The reactions of 8-amino-2,4-dimethylquinoline (L) (1) with polynuclear nickel(ii) and cobalt(ii) hydroxotrimethylacetato complexes under anaerobic conditions were studied. The nonanuclear cluster Ni9(4-OH)3(3-OH)3(n-OOCCMe3)12(HOOCCMe3)4 gave the mononuclear complex Ni(2-L)(2-OOCCMe3)2 (2). The tetranuclear complex Ni4(3-OH)2(-OOCCMe3)4(2-OOCCMe3)2(EtOH)6 produced the mononuclear complex Ni(2-L)(2-OOCCMe3)(OOCCMe3)L (3). At room temperature, the cobalt-containing polynuclear trimethylacetates, viz., the polymer [Co(OH) n (OOCCMe3)2–n ] x and the tetranuclear complex Co4(3-OH)2(-OOCCMe3)4(2-OOCCMe3)2(EtOH)6, were transformed into the trinuclear cobalt(ii) complex Co3(3-OH)(-OOCCMe3)4(2-L)2(OOCCMe3) (4). Meanwhile, at 80 °C these compounds generated the binuclear cobalt(iii) complex Co2(22-(HN)C9NMe2)2(-OOCCMe3)(L)(OOCCMe3)3 (5). The structures of the resulting compounds were established by X-ray diffraction analysis. Compounds 24 exhibit the antiferromagnetic spin-spin exchange coupling, whereas compound 5 is diamagnetic.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Ein schnelles und einfaches Mikroverfahren zum Nachweis einiger Heteroatome organischer Verbindungen wurde entwickelt. Nach Aufschluß mit metallischem Kalium werden die entstehenden Ionen mit der Ringofenmethode getrennt und mit empfindlichen Reaktionen nachgewiesen. Nachweisgrenze: 0,5 bis 1g Stickstoff, 1 bis 2g Schwefel, 2 bis 3g Jod, 4 bis 5g Brom, 5 bis 10g Chlor in 0,5 bis 1 mg Einwaage.
Summary A rapid and simple micromethod was developed for the detection of several hetero-elements in organic compounds. After breaking down the sample with metallic potassium, the resulting ions are separated by the ring oven method and detected by means of sensitive reagents. Detection limits: 0.5 to 1g nitrogen, 1 to 2g sulfur, 2 to 3g iodine, 4 to 5g bromine, 5 to 10g chlorine in samples weighing 0.5 to 1 mg.

Résumé On a découvert un procédé à l'échelle micro, simple et rapide, pour rechercher certains hétéroéléments dans les composés organiques. Après mise en solution par le potassium métallique, on sépare les ions formés suivant la méthode du four annulaire et l'on effectue la recherche au moyen de réactions sensibles. Limite de dilution: 0,5 à 1g d'azote, 1 àg de soufre, 2 àg d'iode, 5 à 10g de chlore sur 0,5 à 1 mg de prise d'essai.

The reactions of half-sandwich diselenolate Mo and W complexes Cp#M(NO)(SePh)2 (M = Mo; Cp# = Cp (1a), MeCp (1b); M = W; Cp# = Cp (1c)) with (Norb)Mo(CO)4, Ni(COD)2 and Fe(CO)5 have been investigated. Treatment of (1a), (1b) and (1c) with (Norb)Mo(CO)4 in PhMe gave the bimetallic complexes: CpMo(NO)(-SePh)2Mo(CO)4 (2a), MeCpMo(NO)(-SePh)2Mo(CO)4 (2b) and CpW(NO)(-SePh)2Mo(CO)4 (2c) in moderate yields. Irradiation of (1a) and (1c) in the presence of Fe(CO)5 gave heterobimetallic complexes CpMo(CO)(-SePh)2Fe(CO)3 (3a) and CpW(NO)(-SePh)2Fe(CO)3 (3c). Ni(COD)2 reacts with two equivalents of (1a), (1b) and (1c) to give [CpMo(NO)(-SePh)2]2Ni (4a), [MeCpMo(NO)(-SePh)2]2Ni (4b) and [CpW(NO)(-SePh)2]2Ni (4c) in good yields. The new heterobimetallic complexes were characterized by i.r., 1H-n.m.r., 13C-n.m.r. and EI-MS spectroscopy.  相似文献
