Using numerical simulation, we investigate the high-order plasmon resonances in individual nanostructures of an Ag nanorice core surrounded by an Al2O3 shell. The peak positions of localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPRs) are red-shifted exponentially with the increase of the dielectric shell thickness. This is due to the exponential decay of electromagnetic field intensity in the direction perpendicular to the interface. This exponential red-shift depends on the wavelength of the resonance peak instead of the resonance order. In addition, we find that the LSPRs in an Ag nanorice of 60-nm width can be perfectly described by a single linear function. These features make nanorice an ideal platform for sensing applications.  相似文献

A gold dimer structure consisting of a notched triangle nanoslice and a rectangle nanorod is proposed to produce distinct Fano resonance. Owing to the coupling between the dipole plasmon mode of the nanorod and the dipole or quadrupole plasmon mode of the nanoslice, the extinction spectrum with a deep Fano dip is formed and can be well fitted by the Fano interference model for different geometry parameters. In addition, Fano resonance of the gold dimer nanostructure also intensely depends on the polarization direction of incident light. Moreover, Fano resonance of the triangle–rod trimer is also analyzed by adding another nanorod into the former dimer and exhibits the splitting of plasmonic resonant peak in high order coupling modes. The plasmonic hybridizations in these nanostructures have been analyzed for revealing the physical origin of the Fano resonance.  相似文献

应用有限元方法, 研究金纳米球壳对的几何结构参数及物理参量对其表面等离激元共振的散射及消光光谱的影响, 并根据等离激元杂化理论进行了理论分析. 结果表明, 随着金壳厚度的增加, 金纳米球壳对的散射及消光共振峰先发生蓝移而后红移, 而随着金纳米球壳间隙的减小, 或者随着金纳米球壳的内核尺寸或内核介质折射率的增大, 散射及消光共振峰均发生红移; 随着金壳厚度或内核尺寸减小, 或者随着内核介质折射率增大, 金纳米球壳对的散射与消光共振强度减弱, 而随着金壳间隙的减小, 金纳米球壳对的散射共振强度先增强后减弱, 而消光共振强度逐渐增强, 数值模拟与理论分析一致.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the plasmon coupling in metallic nanorod dimers. A pronounced dip is found in the extinction spectrum due to plasmonic Fano resonance, which is induced by destructive interference between the bright dipole plasmon of a short nanorod and the dark quadrupole plasmon of a long nanorod. This Fano interference can also be explained as the coupling between the bright and dark modes both supported by the whole dimer. The Fano resonance can be tuned by adjusting the spatial or spectral separation between two nanorods in the dimer.  相似文献

采用离散偶极子近似方法计算了内嵌圆饼空心方形银纳米结构的消光光谱以及其近场的电场强度分布,并进一步与空心方形纳米结构的消光光谱和表面电场做比较.结果表明,在耦合作用下内嵌圆饼空心方形银纳米结构不仅产生了新的共振模式,而且新的共振模式在传统表面增强拉曼散射的激发波长范围内,进而可以弥补由于实验上运用纳米切片法所制备的空心方形纳米结构尺寸较大导致其共振吸收峰在远红外波长范围的不足.此外,可以通过改变内嵌圆饼空心方形银纳米结构的形貌参数调节其表面等离子体共振峰的共振波长,以满足在表面增强拉曼散射、生物分子或化学分子探测上的应用.  相似文献

采用离散偶极子近似方法系统地研究了金纳米环双体的消光光谱及其电场分布. 计算结果表明, 金纳米环双体在耦合作用下的共振消光峰对应着不同振动模式, 改变金纳米环双体的排列方式、 间距和尺寸大小, 其表面等离子体共振消光峰发生红移或蓝移. 因此可以通过对金纳米环双体结构参数和排列方式的设定, 调节其表面等离子体共振消光峰的位置. 电场分布表明, 水平排列的金纳米环双体较单个金纳米环产生更强的局部表面增强电场. 适当的小间距, 较大的内外半径的金纳米环水平阵列更适合做表面增强拉曼散射的衬底, 在生物分子检测等领域具有潜在的应用.  相似文献

采用纳米球刻蚀技术中漂移法在玻璃基片上制备较大 面积不同直径的聚苯乙烯小球掩模板, 采用磁控溅射技术在掩模板上沉积不同厚度的金薄膜, 去除聚苯乙烯小球后, 通过扫描电子显微镜观察到周期排列的三角状金纳米颗粒点阵. 通过紫外-可见分光光度计测试所制备样品的光吸收特性, 发现表面等离子体共振峰随粒径增大发生红移, 随金纳米颗粒高度增加发生蓝移. 基于Mie理论, 利用Matlab软件编程对不同粒径的金阵列光吸收特性进行理论模拟, 并与实验结果进行对比. 关键词: 纳米球刻蚀 金纳米颗粒阵列 表面等离子体共振  相似文献

理论研究了金纳米球壳的几何结构参数, 及物理参量对局 域表面等离激元共振波长调谐特性的影响. 结果表明, 随着壳层厚度的增大, 球壳消光共振峰先蓝移后红移, 高阶峰转向时对应的壳层厚度比低阶峰大, 且该厚度与球壳内径的比值随内径尺寸的增大而减小, 随内核材料或外界环境介电常数的增大而增大, 散射共振峰也有类似的移动规律. 利用电子杂化效应和相位延迟效应对该现象进行了理论解释.  相似文献

Near- and far-field plasmon resonance properties of silver nanospheres dimers are calculated and compared based on the Generalized Multiparticle Mie-solution method. Greater differences between near- and far-field plasmon resonances are found than those of silver single nanoparticle, while the dimer of strongest near-field electric field amplitude and the dimer of highest far-field extinction coefficient almost have the same geometry parameter value under the illumination with fixed wavelength and polarization.  相似文献

As an ultrasensitive sensing technology, the application of surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is one interesting topic of nano-optics, which has huge application prospectives in plenty of research fields. In recent years, the bottleneck in SERS application could be the fabrication of SERS substrate with excellent enhancement. In this work, a two-dimensional (2D) Ag nanorice film is fabricated by self-assembly method as a SERS substrate. The collected SERS spectra of various molecules on this 2D plasmonic film demonstrate quantitative detection could be performed on this SERS substrate. The experiment data also demonstrate this 2D plasmonic film consisted of anisotropic nanostructures has no obvious SERS polarization dependence. The simulated electric field distribution points out the SERS enhancement comes from the surface plasmon coupling between nanorices. And the SERS signals is dominated by molecules adsorbed at different regions of nanorice surface at various wavelengths, which could be a good near IR SERS substrate for bioanalysis. Our work not only enlarges the surface plasmon properties of metal nanostructure, but also exhibits the good application prospect in SERS related fields.  相似文献

金属纳米颗粒局域表面等离激元共振时能够产生消光和近场增强效应已经成为国内外研究的热点. 应用时域有限差分法对L形纳米棒与普通纳米棒构成的金纳米棒复合体的消光光谱及其近场增强和电流矢量密度分布进行了研究. 计算结果表明, 普通纳米棒和L形纳米棒二聚体的光谱响应与纳米棒间的间距有关, 而金纳米棒复合体的消光光谱可通过调整L形纳米棒与普通纳米棒间的间距、L形纳米棒的臂长度以及普通纳米棒的长度进行调谐. 此外金纳米棒复合体可以分解成L形纳米棒二聚体和普通纳米棒二聚体两个部分, 通过分别改变L形纳米棒的臂长和普通纳米棒的长度, 对比L形纳米棒二聚体和普通纳米棒二聚体间的共振峰位置变化, 可以更直观地了解金纳米棒复合体消光光谱线型的变化. 这些结果可用于指导金纳米棒复合体纳米光子器件的设计, 以满足其在表面增强拉曼散射和生物传感等方面应用.  相似文献

We report theoretical studies on the plasmon resonances in linear Au atomic chains by using ab initio time-dependent density functional theory. The dipole responses are investigated each as a function of chain length. They converge into a single resonance in the longitudinal mode but split into two transverse modes. As the chain length increases, the longitudinal plasmon mode is redshifted in energy while the transverse modes shift in the opposite direction (blueshifts). In addition, the energy gap between the two transverse modes reduces with chain length increasing. We find that there are unique characteristics, different from those of other metallic chains. These characteristics are crucial to atomic-scale engineering of single-molecule sensing, optical spectroscopy, and so on.  相似文献

Fano interference of metallic nanostructure is an effective way to reduce the irradiation loss and improve the spectral resolution. A Π-shaped gold nano-trimer, which is composed of a gold nanorod and two gold nanorices, is presented to investigate the properties of Fano resonances in the visible spectrum by using the finite element method(FEM). The theoretical analysis demonstrates that the Fano resonance of the Π-shaped gold nano-trimer is attributed to the near-field interaction between the bright mode of the nanorice pair and the dark quadrupole mode of the nanorod. Furthermore, by breaking the geometric symmetry of the nanostructure the line-shape spectrum with double Fano resonances of Π-shaped gold nano-trimer is obtained and exhibits structure-dependent and medium-dependent characteristics. It is a helpful strategy to design a plasmonic nanostructure for implementing multiple Fano resonances in practical applications.  相似文献

Noble metallic nanostructures exhibit special optical properties resulting from excitation of surface plasmons. Among the various metallic nanostructures, nanorods have attracted particular attention because of their unique and intriguing shape-dependent plasmonic properties. Nanorods can support transverse and longitudinal plasmon modes, the latter ones depending strongly on the aspect ratio of the nanorod. These modes can be routinely tuned from the visible to the near-infrared spectral regions. Although nanorods have been investigated extensively, there are few studies devoted to nanostructures deviating from the nanorod shape. This review provides an overview of recent progress in the development of two kinds of novel quasi-one-dimensional silver nanostructures, nanorice and nanocarrot, including their syntheses, crystalline characterizations, plasmonic property analyses, and performance in plasmonic sensing applications.  相似文献

We investigate optical properties of nanoshells (small composite clusters composed of a dielectric core and a metal shell; contribution of the shell dominates in the optical properties of the whole cluster) far from plasmon resonance. In particular, nanoshells with the shape of a stretched rotation ellipsoid (nanorice) are considered. For such shell‐type particle the electron wavefunction, the electron energy, the wavenumber spectrum, and the matrix elements of corresponding optical transitions were found. Using these quantities, the classical optical conductivity of such shells (the quantum effects are not considered) and the quantum optical conductivity (relevant addendums for the classical conductivity that are caused by the quantum effects like the electron spectrum discreteness) were found. Oscillating nature of the dependence of these addendums on the incident light frequency is established. The optical conductivity expressions are generalized for the case of a nanorice particle with a weak nonconcentricity.  相似文献

提出了一种利用氧化钛薄膜对金属铜薄膜表面等离子体共振特性调制的想法。实验中首先使用电子束蒸发制备一批同等厚度的氧化钛薄膜,再利用磁控溅射方法在氧化钛薄膜上沉积厚度为5~80 nm不等的金属铜薄膜。测试结果表明,氧化钛膜层对不同厚度的金属铜薄膜表面等离子体共振增强具有不同调制效果,金属铜薄膜厚度小于20 nm时,底层的氧化钛薄膜对Cu薄膜表面等离子体共振增强效果显著,且随着金属Cu膜层厚度增加表面等离子体共振峰发生蓝移,而当金属铜膜层的厚度超过20 nm时,共振增强效果因金属Cu薄膜消光能力的上升而开始减弱。  相似文献
