A flow injection (FI)–electrochemiluminescent (ECL) method has been developed for the determination of gallic acid, based on an inhibition effect on the Ru(bpy)32+/tri-n-propylamine (TPrA) ECL system in pH 8.0 phosphate buffer solution. The method is simple and convenient with a determination limit of 9.0×10–9 mol/L and a dynamic concentration range of 2×10–8–2×10–5 mol/L. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.0% for 1.0×10–6 mol/L gallic acid (n=11). It was successfully applied to the determination of gallic acid in Chinese proprietary medicine—Jianming Yanhou Pian. The inhibition mechanism proposed for the quenching effect of the gallic acid on the Ru(bpy)32+/TPrA ECL system was the interaction of electrogenerated Ru(bpy)32+* and o-benzoquinone derivative at the electrode surface. The ECL emission spectra and UV-visible absorption spectra were applied to confirm the mechanism.  相似文献

A potentiometric and/or visual method for the determination of sulphamethoxazole (SULF) in pure form in the range of 5.3 × 10–5 to 5.0 × 10–4 mol/L is proposed. To enhance the solubility, the determination has been carried out in a micellar medium formed by an aqueous 5.0 × 10–2 mol/L N-hexadecyl-N,N,N-trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) solution which increases the dissociation constant K of SULF about tenfold. The titration is performed with NaOH (2.5 × 10–3 or 5.0 × 10–2 mol/L) and the end-point is determined by the second derivative graph. The results agree with those obtained by the official method of the USP XXIII. The method is simple, accurate, economical and can successfully replace the more complicated, more expensive and time-consuming existent procedures which are carried out in a non-aqueous medium.  相似文献

In the NH4Cl supporting electrolyte, within the pH range from 1 to 5, an irreversible adsorptive reducing wave of salicyl fluorone(SAF) was obtained. The electrode process was verified as follow: On the surface of mercury electrode, the adsorption of SAF obeys Frumkin isotherm. In 0.2 mol/l potassium hydrogen phthalate/HCl buffer solution, at pH 3.0, the sensitive adsorptive complex wave of Ga-SAF was obtained by linear sweep voltammetry. The composition of the electroactive complex was determined as Ga:SAF = 11. The peak height of the complex is proportional to the concentration of Ga(III) in the range of 1.5 × 10–9 to 6.0 × 10–7 mol/l, the detection limit is 1.0× 10–9 mol/l. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of gallium content in aluminium alloys.  相似文献

A procedure was proposed for the determination of selenium(IV) by stripping voltammetry on a mercury-film electrode at an electrolysis potential of +0.4 V versus the saturated silver–silver chloride reference electrode in a 1 M H2SO4 solution. The current of the cathodic peak is a linear function of the selenium(IV) concentration in the range from 5 × 10–3 to 3 × 10–1 mg/L (6.3 × 10–8 to 3.8 × 10–6 M) at a time of electrolysis of 30 s (t el). The detection limit for selenium is 1 × 10–4 mg/L (1.3 × 10–9 M) at t el = 300 s. It was shown that selenium(IV) can be determined in the presence of 10 mg/L Zn(II), 1 mg/L Cd(II), 0.5 mg/L Pb(II), and 0.2 mg/L Cu(II). A procedure for the determination of selenium in natural, mineral, and potable water was proposed.  相似文献

Summary A differential pulse polarographic method for the determination of iron employing the catalytic maximum wave has been studied. A well-defined differential pulse polarographic peak for iron(III) in Britton-Robinson buffer solution containing 50 mol/l N-(2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediamine N,N,N-triacetic acid (HEDTA) and 5 mmol/l KBrO3 is observed in the potential range from +0.2 to –0.3 V vs. SCE. The peak current is very large compared to that of the Fe(III)/EDTA complex, being proportional to the concentration of iron(III) between 1.00×10–8 and 3.58×10–6 mol/l under optimum conditions. The relative standard deviations for 3.58×10–7 mol/l and 1.79×10–6 mol/l iron(III) were 1.38 and 0.54%, respectively (n=5), and the calculated detection limit was 5.2×10–9 mol/l iron(III). The method has been applied to the determination of iron in fresh snow and rain waters.

Summary Cobalt(II) can be determined in 0.1 mol/l Na3citrate + 0.1 mol/l NH4Cl + 0.08% dimethylglyoxime as supporting electrolyte in the presence of a 50 000-fold excess of zinc by differential pulse polarography. The limit of determination is 4.2×10–5 mol/l Co (2.5 mg/l). Linear calibration curves are obtained within the range of 1×10–7 to 5×10–6 mol/l cobalt without zinc and in the presence of 5×10–3 mol/l Zn. The analytical method developed is suitable for the determination of cobalt in zinc plant solutions.

Guanine is determined at the 5.0×10–10 –2.0×10–7 mol/l level by differential-pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry at a hanging mercury drop electrode using the reduction peak of its copper (II) complex at –0.21 V vs. Ag-AgCl electrode. The optimum analytical conditions were found to be Britton-Robinson buffer solution (pH 4.8), an accumulation potential of 0.0 V and an accumulation time of 3 min. Under these conditions, the detection limit is 5.0×10–10 mol/l and the relative standard deviation 2.6% for 1.0×10–7 mol/l guanine. The method is compared with the previous voltammetric methods. The presence of some purine derivatives does not interfere.  相似文献

A highly selective method for the deter- mination of gold by anodic stripping voltammetry is described. For preconcentration a glassy carbon electrode, activated by deposition of small amounts of gold before the measurement, is proposed. The Au3+ reduction process at such an electrode is effective starting with the potential +0.4 V vs. Ag/AgCl electrode. A linear dependence of the current of the gold stripping peak on the gold concentration was obtained in the range from 5×10–8 to 1×10–6 mol/l. The relative standard deviation for 2×10-7 mol/l HAuCl4 was 4.2% (n=5). The detection limit was 4×10-9 mol/l. The accuracy of the method was verified by the determination of gold in reference materials.  相似文献

A spectrophotometric method for the simultaneous determination of rare-earth and transition elements in synthetic superconductors, [(La1 – x Eu x )1.82Sr0.18CuO4], by the use of 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) as chelating agent was developed. The influence of chemical variables affecting the reaction was studied. A partial least-squares (PLS) multivariate calibration procedure was used to assess the data obtained from several calibration solutions measured over the wavelengths range 400–700 nm. The concentration range for Cu was (1–12) × 10–6 mol/L, while the range for the rare-earth elements La and Eu was (2–8) × 10–6 mol/L. The relative errors in the determinations were less than 5% in most cases.  相似文献

Summary The cathodic stripping voltammetry of copper(II) was investigated with a method, based on the adsorptive accumulation of the Cu(II)-salicylideneamino-2-thiophenol (SATP) complex on a hanging mercury drop electrode. The copper(II)-SATP complex could be accumulated on the electrode at –0.20 V in 0.01 mol/l nitric acid. The reduction peak of the copper complex was observed by scanning the potential in a negative direction in the differential pulse mode. The calibration curve for copper was linear over the range 5×10–9–1×10–7 mol/l. This method was applied to determine copper(II) in GSJ (Geological Survey of Japan) standard rock reference materials.  相似文献

The reaction of meso-tetraphenylporphyrin with Mo(VI) oxide in boiling phenol resulted in a stable complex O=Mo(OH)TPP. Thermodynamics and kinetics of the reaction between (oxo)(hydroxo)molybdenumtetraphenyporphyrin with pyridine in toluene were studied by spectrophotometric method. This reaction was found to occur in three equilibrium elementary stages: replacement of OH by Py (K 1=9.1 × 103 l/mol, k 1=5.25 s–1 mol–1 l), the formation of dication (dipyridine)(hydroxo)molybdenumtetraphenylporphyrin as a result of cleavage of a double bond Mo=O (K 2=39.3 l/mol, k 2=1.83 × 10–2 s-1 mol–1 l), and the formation of cationic complex[Mo(Py)3TPP]3+ · 3OH (K 3=1.0 l/mol, k 3=1.19 × 10–3 s–1 mol–1 l).__________Translated from Koordinatsionnaya Khimiya, Vol. 31, No. 5, 2005, pp. 380–386.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Tipugina, Lomova, Motorina.  相似文献

Phenylfluorone reacts with palladium(II) in the presence of hexadecylpyridinium bromide to form a water-soluble chelate with an absorption maximum at 630 nm, the absorbance being constant in the pH-range of 9.0–10.2. At this wavelength Beer's law is obeyed up to 7.25 × 10–5 mol/L palladium(II). The sensitivity is very high and the molar absorptivity is 8.5 × 104 L mol–1 cm–1, permitting the determination of palladium(II) at µg level. The ratio of palladium to phenylfluorone in the complex is 1:1. The method has successfully been applied to the determination of palladium in titanium alloys.  相似文献

A fluorescence quenching method has been developed to determine cerium with rhodamine 6G. The method is based on the oxidation of rhodamine 6G by cerium(IV) in sulfuric acid solution. The linear calibration range is 4.0 × 10–7 -1.6 × 10–6mol/L. The detection limit is 1.0 × 10–7 mol/L. The relative standard deviation was 1.0% (n = 5). The method has been used to determine cerium in rare earth ores, with satisfactory results. The method offers the advantages of simplisity, sensitivity and selectivity.  相似文献

A fast and simple KMnO4-OP chemiluminescence system for flow-injection analysis of hydrogen peroxide is described. When a mixture of sample and OP is injected into acidic KMnO4, solution in a flow-cell, strong chemiluminescence occurs. The response is linear to the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the range of 1.0 × 10–8 to 6.0 × 10–5 mol/l with 0.1 mol/l permanganate, and the upper limit of linear response could be extended to 6 × 10–3 mol/l by increasing the permanganate concentration. The relative standard deviation of the method is between 1.6 and 2.3%. The detection limit is 6.0 × 10–9 mol/l. This method is suitable for automatic and continuous analysis and has been successfully tested for determination of hydrogen peroxide in rain water. The chemiluminescence intensity was found to be remarkably enhanced in the presence of the OP micellar system.  相似文献

Summary The 1:1 complex between titanium (IV) and 5-Br-PADAP can be used to determine titanium by adsorption voltammetry at a stationary Hg-electrode. The experimental conditions for the determination are described. The detection limit is 3×10–10 mol/l Ti (0.015 ppb). Calibration curves are linear for solutions containing 4×10–10 to 5×10–8 mol/l Ti(IV) and an enrichment time of 3 min. The influence of foreign ions was investigated. The determination can be carried out in the presence of a 5000-fold excess of iron.  相似文献

An extremely sensitive stripping voltammetric procedure for low level measurements of platinum (II, IV) or ruthenium (III, IV) is reported. The method is based on the interfacial accumulation of the platinum (II) or ruthenium (III)-1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol complex on the surface of a hanging mercury drop electrode, followed by the reduction of the adsorbed complex during the cathodic scan. The peak potential was found to be –0.8 V vs. Ag/AgCl electrode and the reduction current of the adsorbed complex ions of platinum (II) or ruthenium (III) was measured by differential pulse cathodic stripping voltammetry. The optimum experimental conditions were: 1.5×10–7 mol/l of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol solution of pH 9.3, preconcentration potential of –0.2 V, accumulation time of 3 min and pulse amplitude of 50 mV with 4 mV s–1 scan rate in the presence of ethanol-water (30% v/v) — sodium sulphate (0.5 mol/l). Linear response up to 6.4 × 10–8 and 5.1 × 10–8 mol/l and a relative standard deviation (at 1.2×10–8 mol/l) of 2.4 and 1.6% (n=5) for platinum (II) and ruthenium (III) respectively were obtained. The detection limits of platinum and ruthenium were 3.2×10–10 and 4.1×10–10 mol/l, respectively. The electronic spectra of the Pt(II) — PAN and Ru(III) — PAN complexes were measured at pH 9.3 and the stoichiometric ratios of the complexes formed were obtained by the molar ratio method. The effects of some interfering ions on the proposed procedure were critically investigated. The method was found suitable for the sub-microdetermination of ruthenium (IV) and platinum (IV) after their reduction to ruthenium (III) and platinum (II) with sulphur dioxide in acid media. The applicability of the method for the analysis of binary mixtures of ruthenium (III) and (IV) or platinum (II) and (IV) has also been carried out successfully. The method is simple, rapid, precise, and promising for the determination of the tested metal ions at micro-molar concentration level.  相似文献

A sensitive procedure for determination of micro-traces of Co(II) by adsorptive stripping voltammetry is proposed. The procedure exploits the enhancement of the cobalt peak obtained by use of the system Co(II)–dimethylglyoxime–piperazine-1,4-bis(2-ethanesulfonic acid)–cetyltrimethylammonium bromide. Using the optimized conditions, a detection limit (based on the 3 criterion) for Co(II) of 1.2×10–11 mol L–1 (0.7 ng L–1) was achieved. The calibration plot for an accumulation time of 30 s was linear from 5×10–11 to 4×10–9 mol L–1. The procedure was validated by analysis of certified reference materials and natural water samples.  相似文献

The oxidative behaviour of the antidiabetic agent glibenclamide on a bare carbon paste electrode (CPE) and a Sephadex-modified carbon paste electrode (SMCPE) was explored by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The analysis procedure consisted of an open circuit accumulation step in stirred sample solution of Britton-Robinson buffer (0.04 mol L–1, pH 2.0). This was followed by medium exchange to a clean solution of Britton-Robinson buffer (0.04 mol L–1, pH 5.0), and subsequently an anodic potential scan was effected to obtain the voltammetric peak. The glibenclamide oxidation peak current obtained by DPV was proportional to the concentration of the glibenclamide in the range of 1.0×10–9 mol L–1 to 5.0×10–8 mol L–1 for 180 s accumulation time, with a detection limit of 4.0×10–10 mol L–1. A method was developed for the determination of glibenclamide in formulation and spiked human serum. Moreover, the proposed procedure was used to estimate the serum concentrations after oral administration of a 5 mg tablet of glibenclamide to three diabetic subjects.  相似文献

The reaction conditions of tetrathionate with permanganate were investigated by varying reaction time, temperature and amounts of sulphuric acid and permanganate. Under the optimal conditions for the reaction of tetrathionate with permanganate, both penta- and hexathionate were also oxidised; each one mol of polythionates (S x O 6 2– x=4, 5 and 6) reacts with (x–1.5) mol of permanganate. The proposed method is based on the reaction of tetrathionate with a given excess amount of permanganate in a sulphuric acid medium and on the spectrophotometric measurement of the iodine as triiodide formed by the oxidation of iodide with the excess of permanganate. This method could be successfully applied to the determinations of tetrathionate (4 × 10–7 to 2 × 10–5 M), pentathionate (3 × 10–7 to 1.43 × 10–5 M) and hexathionate (2 × 10–7 to 1.11 × 10–5 M), and gave a higher sensitivity than any previous methods without solvent extraction.  相似文献
