We derive a Molchan–Golosov-type integral transform which changes fractional Brownian motion of arbitrary Hurst index KK into fractional Brownian motion of index HH. Integration is carried out over [0,t][0,t], t>0t>0. The formula is derived in the time domain. Based on this transform, we construct a prelimit which converges in L2(P)L2(P)-sense to an analogous, already known Mandelbrot–Van Ness-type integral transform, where integration is over (−∞,t](,t], t>0t>0.  相似文献

We construct a sequence of processes that converges strongly to fractional Brownian motion uniformly on bounded intervals for any Hurst parameter HH, and we derive a rate of convergence, which becomes better when HH approaches 1/21/2. The construction is based on the Mandelbrot–van Ness stochastic integral representation of fractional Brownian motion and on a strong transport process approximation of Brownian motion. The objective of this method is to facilitate simulation.  相似文献

We study the well-posedness of general reflected BSDEs driven by a continuous martingale, when the coefficient ff of the driver has at most quadratic growth in the control variable ZZ, with a bounded terminal condition and a lower obstacle which is bounded above. We obtain the basic results in this setting: comparison and uniqueness, existence, stability. For the comparison theorem and the special comparison theorem for reflected BSDEs (which allows one to compare the increasing processes of two solutions), we give intrinsic proofs which do not rely on the comparison theorem for standard BSDEs. This allows to obtain the special comparison theorem under minimal assumptions. We obtain existence by using the fixed point theorem and then a series of perturbations, first in the case where ff is Lipschitz in the primary variable YY, and then in the case where ff can have slightly-superlinear growth and the case where ff is monotonous in YY with arbitrary growth. We also obtain a local Lipschitz estimate in BMOBMO for the martingale part of the solution.  相似文献

We discuss joint temporal and contemporaneous aggregation of NN independent copies of AR(1) process with random-coefficient a∈[0,1)a[0,1) when NN and time scale nn increase at different rate. Assuming that aa has a density, regularly varying at a=1a=1 with exponent −1<β<11<β<1, different joint limits of normalized aggregated partial sums are shown to exist when N1/(1+β)/nN1/(1+β)/n tends to (i) ∞, (ii) 00, (iii) 0<μ<∞0<μ<. The limit process arising under (iii) admits a Poisson integral representation on (0,∞)×C(R)(0,)×C(R) and enjoys ‘intermediate’ properties between fractional Brownian motion limit in (i) and sub-Gaussian limit in (ii).  相似文献

We prove that if for a continuous map ff on a compact metric space XX, the chain recurrent set, R(f)R(f) has more than one chain component, then ff does not satisfy the asymptotic average shadowing property. We also show that if a continuous map ff on a compact metric space XX has the asymptotic average shadowing property and if AA is an attractor for ff, then AA is the single attractor for ff and we have A=R(f)A=R(f). We also study diffeomorphisms with asymptotic average shadowing property and prove that if MM is a compact manifold which is not finite with dimM=2dimM=2, then the C1C1 interior of the set of all C1C1 diffeomorphisms with the asymptotic average shadowing property is characterized by the set of ΩΩ-stable diffeomorphisms.  相似文献

Fourier normal ordering (Unterberger, 2009) [34] is a new algorithm to construct explicit rough paths over arbitrary Hölder-continuous multidimensional paths. We apply in this article the Fourier normal ordering algorithm to the construction of an explicit rough path over multi-dimensional fractional Brownian motion BB with arbitrary Hurst index αα (in particular, for α≤1/4α1/4, which was till now an open problem) by regularizing the iterated integrals of the analytic approximation of BB defined in Unterberger (2009) [32]. The regularization procedure is applied to ‘Fourier normal ordered’ iterated integrals obtained by permuting the order of integration so that innermost integrals have highest Fourier modes. The algebraic properties of this rough path are best understood using two Hopf algebras: the Hopf algebra of decorated rooted trees (Connes and Kreimer, 1998) [6] for the multiplicative or Chen property, and the shuffle algebra for the geometric or shuffle property. The rough path lives in Gaussian chaos of integer orders and is shown to have finite moments.  相似文献

Let TT be a tree with ss ends and f,gf,g be continuous maps from TT to TT with f°g=g°ff°g=g°f. In this note we show that if there exists a positive integer m≥2m2 such that gcd(m,l)=1gcd(m,l)=1 for any 2≤l≤s2ls and f,gf,g share a periodic point which is a kmkm-periodic point of ff for some positive integer kk, then the topological entropy of f°gf°g is positive.  相似文献

Let x(s)x(s), s∈RdsRd be a Gaussian self-similar random process of index HH. We consider the problem of log-asymptotics for the probability pTpT that x(s)x(s), x(0)=0x(0)=0 does not exceed a fixed level in a star-shaped expanding domain T⋅ΔTΔ as T→∞T. We solve the problem of the existence of the limit, θ?lim(−logpT)/(logT)Dθ?lim(logpT)/(logT)D, T→∞T, for the fractional Brownian sheet x(s)x(s), s∈[0,T]2s[0,T]2 when D=2D=2, and we estimate θθ for the integrated fractional Brownian motion when D=1D=1.  相似文献

Consider events of the form {Zs≥ζ(s),s∈S}{Zsζ(s),sS}, where ZZ is a continuous Gaussian process with stationary increments, ζζ is a function that belongs to the reproducing kernel Hilbert space RR of process ZZ, and S⊂RSR is compact. The main problem considered in this paper is identifying the function β∈RβR satisfying β(s)≥ζ(s)β(s)ζ(s) on SS and having minimal RR-norm. The smoothness (mean square differentiability) of ZZ turns out to have a crucial impact on the structure of the solution. As examples, we obtain the explicit solutions when ζ(s)=sζ(s)=s for s∈[0,1]s[0,1] and ZZ is either a fractional Brownian motion or an integrated Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process.  相似文献

We analyze the equilibrium fluctuations of density, current and tagged particle in symmetric exclusion with a slow bond. The system evolves in the one-dimensional lattice and the jump rate is everywhere equal to one except at the slow bond where it is αn−βαnβ, with α>0α>0, β∈[0,+∞]β[0,+] and nn is the scaling parameter. Depending on the regime of ββ, we find three different behaviors for the limiting fluctuations whose covariances are explicitly computed. In particular, for the critical value β=1β=1, starting a tagged particle near the slow bond, we obtain a family of Gaussian processes indexed in αα, interpolating a fractional Brownian motion of Hurst exponent 1/41/4 and the degenerate process equal to zero.  相似文献

Let ηtηt be a Poisson point process of intensity t≥1t1 on some state space YY and let ff be a non-negative symmetric function on YkYk for some k≥1k1. Applying ff to all kk-tuples of distinct points of ηtηt generates a point process ξtξt on the positive real half-axis. The scaling limit of ξtξt as tt tends to infinity is shown to be a Poisson point process with explicitly known intensity measure. From this, a limit theorem for the mm-th smallest point of ξtξt is concluded. This is strengthened by providing a rate of convergence. The technical background includes Wiener–Itô chaos decompositions and the Malliavin calculus of variations on the Poisson space as well as the Chen–Stein method for Poisson approximation. The general result is accompanied by a number of examples from geometric probability and stochastic geometry, such as kk-flats, random polytopes, random geometric graphs and random simplices. They are obtained by combining the general limit theorem with tools from convex and integral geometry.  相似文献

This paper considers the short- and long-memory linear processes with GARCH (1,1) noises. The functional limit distributions of the partial sum and the sample autocovariances are derived when the tail index αα is in (0,2)(0,2), equal to 2, and in (2,∞)(2,), respectively. The partial sum weakly converges to a functional of αα-stable process when α<2α<2 and converges to a functional of Brownian motion when α≥2α2. When the process is of short-memory and α<4α<4, the autocovariances converge to functionals of α/2α/2-stable processes; and if α≥4α4, they converge to functionals of Brownian motions. In contrast, when the process is of long-memory, depending on αα and ββ (the parameter that characterizes the long-memory), the autocovariances converge to either (i) functionals of α/2α/2-stable processes; (ii) Rosenblatt processes (indexed by ββ, 1/2<β<3/41/2<β<3/4); or (iii) functionals of Brownian motions. The rates of convergence in these limits depend on both the tail index αα and whether or not the linear process is short- or long-memory. Our weak convergence is established on the space of càdlàg functions on [0,1][0,1] with either (i) the J1J1 or the M1M1 topology (Skorokhod, 1956); or (ii) the weaker form SS topology (Jakubowski, 1997). Some statistical applications are also discussed.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to establish a change of variable formula for general Gaussian processes whose covariance function satisfies some technical conditions. The stochastic integral is defined in the Stratonovich sense using an approximation by middle point Riemann sums. The change of variable formula is proved by means of a Taylor expansion up to the sixth order, and applying the techniques of Malliavin calculus to show the convergence to zero of the residual terms. The conditions on the covariance function are weak enough to include processes with infinite quadratic variation, and we show that they are satisfied by the bifractional Brownian motion with parameters (H,K)(H,K) such that 1/6<HK<11/6<HK<1, and, in particular, by the fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H∈(1/6,1)H(1/6,1).  相似文献

We define a covariance-type operator on Wiener space: for FF and GG two random variables in the Gross–Sobolev space D1,2D1,2 of random variables with a square-integrable Malliavin derivative, we let ΓF,G?〈DF,−DL−1G〉ΓF,G?DF,DL1G, where DD is the Malliavin derivative operator and L−1L1 is the pseudo-inverse of the generator of the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck semigroup. We use ΓΓ to extend the notion of covariance and canonical metric for vectors and random fields on Wiener space, and prove corresponding non-Gaussian comparison inequalities on Wiener space, which extend the Sudakov–Fernique result on comparison of expected suprema of Gaussian fields, and the Slepian inequality for functionals of Gaussian vectors. These results are proved using a so-called smart-path method on Wiener space, and are illustrated via various examples. We also illustrate the use of the same method by proving a Sherrington–Kirkpatrick universality result for spin systems in correlated and non-stationary non-Gaussian random media.  相似文献

In a recent paper, Soner, Touzi and Zhang (2012) [19] have introduced a notion of second order backward stochastic differential equations (2BSDEs), which are naturally linked to a class of fully non-linear PDEs. They proved existence and uniqueness for a generator which is uniformly Lipschitz in the variables yy and zz. The aim of this paper is to extend these results to the case of a generator satisfying a monotonicity condition in yy. More precisely, we prove existence and uniqueness for 2BSDEs with a generator which is Lipschitz in zz and uniformly continuous with linear growth in yy. Moreover, we emphasize throughout the paper the major difficulties and differences due to the 2BSDE framework.  相似文献
